Went for dinner in May, perfect weather, with my husband and a 3 year old. Waiter could not have been nicer to my son and the view and sound from the table and the approach is really incredible. Some of the seafood was amazing some was ok...but all certainly fresh.

The food and service was excellent the views were amazing. The prefix menu took the guess work out of ordering. We ordered a bottle of wine and the food just kept on coming, our waiter explained each dish and answered all our questions. It was a truly fantastic experience, and a great value for the amount of fresh seafood we had!

Visited this restaurant with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and 14 month old granddaughter in mid September 2015. Staying at Loggia Ambling, reservations were made with restaurant. As a fish and seafood lover, this was the most amazing experience and best fish and seafood meal we ever had. Fresh caught daily. We opted for two full course and two primo only courses and there was plenty to enjoy. Includes wine, water, and dessert. It got to the point that we had to question how much more food was coming as it was non stop presentations of dishes with waiter describing each dish as delivered to the table. Total was 170 euros. Amazing for the quantity, quality and courteous professional service! Definitely will return one day!

We have been here three times now as we travel constantly between the North and Puglia. We have had two good experiences and one bad. The last one, today was very disappointing. We had booked a table on the terrace and the famous Brodetto, which we ate there before. It arrived piping hot and included 2 mussels on top, one of which had not opened. Please chef, if you are only offering two mussels, make sure they have both opened! It took our waiter a long time to ask if we wanted to add pasta. We said yes - the pasta took half an hour to arrive, by which time the Brodetto was stone cold. The service was perfunctory as a large party had arrived. We were ignored, no question of dessert or coffee. We left feeling disatisfied! Normally the food is good. Would we return? Not on a Friday lunchtime!

The food and service was excellent! We had the fish soup which I agree is the best in Vasco. Our waiter spoke perfect English and explained every course in detail, recommend an excellent wine to complement our meal. The views of the harbour are excellent. I recommend you call for reservations we didn't but had to wait for a table they were kind enough to accommodate us!

Nice view, good starter, good first plate. Long waiting time between dishes, not acceptable. Horrible second plate, mixed grilled fish, gigliata di pesce. It came after almost 2 hours after entering Restaurant, approximate 45 minutes after first plate. Fish absolutely dry, like leather. Not recommendable.

I love fish and Seafood and wen I was there I could not stop eating! the food was great even though there are not so many possibilities if you do not like seafood. the servis is great to! and the setting is beautiful with a great view over the Ocean and Vasto Marina I have known the owner personally for a long time and i now that the recipes he is using are partly old Family recipes. If you are also looking for a Place to stay in Vasto I recommend the Hotel Lido in vasto Marina witch belongs to the Brother in Law of the Castello Aragona owner

Inattentive and rude service. One of our meals came out 15 mins before the other meaning we couldn’t eat together. No one came to check on our table at any point and staff quick to walk away before we were able to ask for another drink or dessert menu…Overall a very poor and bad experience.

Lovely restaurant! We were seated quickly and served a bowl of fresh bread. We had the special 2 course meal. The starter was a lovely plate of prosciutto and mozzarella. We waited a little while for the main, which was equally as good, a bowl of seafood tagliatelle with shrimp and octopus. The staff were highly accommodating and very efficient. The restraunt had a nice atmosphere, with comfortable seating. Highly recommended experience!
