Visitors can take guided tours for an entry fee of only 50rs, which includes access to the museum featuring an impressive collection of arms and ammunition. The fort's grandeur is often underrated, with its vast corridors and halls filled with historical and cultural artifacts.

The fort's imposing structure, with its high walls and strong bastions, impresses upon arrival. As you enter through the intricately designed gates, the fort unfolds a treasure trove of architectural wonders. The fusion of Rajput, Mughal, and Gujarati styles is evident in the splendid palaces, courtyards, and temples housed within the fort.

Junagadh fort is a magnificent piece of art and architecture, there is no doubt in that. However, people who come from heritage cities having forts/temples might not find it unparalleled. Also, since this is a major tourist attraction of bikaner, it is extremely crowded and exorbitantly expensive. I loved the palace .

This is the best place to visit in Bikaner. This is a royal Fort with excellent carving of Marbels and sculpture with gold. Some part of this hot husband converted to museum and open for general visitors. This museum also provide guides with its entry tickets of rupees 100. Worth visiting this place as history speaks here itself.

A huge beautiful and neatly maintained fort amidst the city. A must go place and they give a free guide at the entrance for which you might have to wait for a few mins. Each section of the fort is very well maintained and has a different color. The fort will show up in different colors for each section like Anup Mahel, Rani mahel etc. A lot of history with this fort which you must read through. The Rajas at that time hosted a lot of European guests so you will see the European influences in the designing and the cutlery they used. The fort has a huge ground, temples, lawn, museum , cafe to explore.

Another marvel of our glorious history. Beautiful architecture as expected from our forts of India. It was such a good experience to know about the history of the kings of Bikaner. The fort displays a vast collection of the weapons used in their times, which is supposed to be the largest showcase in any fort . The paintings on the walls& ceilings take your breath away. U feel proud to be an Indian. Must visit in once lifetime.

One of the most beautiful and well preserved fort Ive ever seen. If one is in Bikaner then this place is a must to explore. The overall construction quality and the staff is very nice. The fort is still owned by the Royal Family of Bikaner and they have kept the fort open for tourist visitors. There are two options to explore the fort. One is a free guide and the other one is a paid guide (INR 400/-). The entry fee for the fort is 50/- each. They charge separately in case one wants to take a video. Photographs are free. There is car parking facility available here as well which costs 20/-. I would definitely recommend visiting this fort.

Junagarh fort visit is one of the best historical monument experiences of my life. It has a lifetime of story and generations of transition, glory, culture and history engraved on its walls. It represents the 3 phases of the country's great evolution. First being the transport evolution, second, the trade flow transition and third is power possession phase achieved after many battles and struggles. The cool thing is, this has been depicted on the walls of the fort. Hats off to the archeological restoration team of India, they have done a wonderful job to preserve history at its best. Liked how each segment and area of the fort is kept accessible yet preserved for the general public. The ticket is ₹100/- for Indian citizens and ₹250/- for international visitors. Videography is chargeable by ₹200/- for the entire visit but you can click pictures throughout the premises without paying any charges. Also, the fort management provides a guide for the tour, in a group of 10 people, so, you don't need to take a guide along with you. However, you can ask for a separate guide, which is obviously chargeable. The place is amazing and a must visit. Also, there is a 'Prachina' museum which has a ₹50/- charge and contains the life relics of the kings and their families. It took almost 2.5hr along with the museum visit to complete our tour. There is a cafe near the museum which has a few good eateries to offer. There is one toilet just outside the fort main entrance and it is nice and clean. Fort management has kept the place very fine. Also, one of the cool things, the 4 wheeler parking is inside the fort, so you can take your car inside the fort and park near the main entrance. Overall it's a 5 star place to visit and a great experience.

Probably a less famous than other contemporary forts in Rajasthan- but this is a must see if you are in Bikaner! The place is well maintained and clean. The staff/guides are helpful and keen to answer you. The museum boats good collection of weapons, armour, clothing and the items which were used by the king (who was memeber of imperial war cabinet during World War I) Fort has magnificent facade.

Good place if you want to take kids to sand dunes for the experience. Few activities were also there, reaver don’t go before 7:00PM. Otherwise it’s too hot specially in summer season. You must take one dinner there, with some live performances by Rajasthani folk dances

Very well managed. The guide was a wonderful narrator. Kudos to the royal family for maintaining the fort such wonderfully. The entry fee is also on a lower side ( Rs. 50 only) in comparison to some of the other forts in the state

Junagarh✨ Must visit in Bikaner, Rajasthan. • One of the oldest and very well maintained fort in Rajasthan •This fort exhibits rich architecture and grandeur life of the royals • •Entry Fees is ₹50 for Indian •Also don't take a personal guide even if they insist you continuously because there is a government guide assigned to bunch of people and the government guide explain everything very nicely.

While in Bikaner, this is a "must visit". This is the only famous fort in Rajasthan which is not on the top of a hill. Reaching here is not difficult and there is vehicle parking space inside the premises. It is well maintained with some areas restored well. The evolution of the fort with its architecture evolving over generations can be visualised within 2 hours. The crown piece of the fort is undoubtedly the oldest invaluable sandalwood throne dating back to the Rathodes (from Kannauj to Bikaner). Our visit was made memorable by our guide whom we met oafter purchasing entry tickets eat INR 100 per person.eBesides being proficient in Hindi, English and French, he has a thorough understanding of the history of Bikaner and its culture. With a keen eye for best spots for memorable snaps, he captured our trip in photographs for us in addition. On further enquiring he offered to guide us to authentic Rajasthani food and for shopping. Finally we relieved him only in the evening. The day turned out to be a fully packed, eventful and a memorable one thanks to his help.

Junagarh = the old fort. This used to be the fort used by the royal family of Bikaner before moving out to the new one (Lalgarh). The best part here is, they offer free guide service to each tourist. They group you and send a guide along with you. The guides are very professional and friendly. They explain to you the history very nicely. Loved this fort. It showcases the rich heritage of the Rajasthani rulers.

This fort is also known as the old fort for the name epithet 'Juna' means 'old'. Comparatively this fort is smaller than the others in other cities such as the Mehrangarh fort or the City palace. A large section of the fort is closed for the public. Plenty of restoration is due in several sections and walls show obvious signs of aging and disrepair. The armoury section occupies most of the display and then the state rooms and royal regalia. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Hey, just wanted to share how awesome Junagarh Fort is! I recently visited, and it blew me away. The history and architecture are mind-blowing – seriously felt like stepping back in time. The details in the palaces and temples are something else. Walking through, you can't help but imagine the royal life that once thrived there. The whole setup, with the city sprawled out below from the ramparts, is just breathtaking. The staff there are super knowledgeable and passionate. I learned so much during the guided tour. If you're into history or just want a taste of Rajasthan's royal past, Junagarh Fort is a must-visit. Highly recommend it for a memorable experience!

This place is good to visit for those who come here accidentally or for other purposes. However it's not too good to visit specially. There are no shops outside for lunch or dinner neither for snakes. The fee is Rs 100/person which should be less. U can visit the whole fort within 30 min.

Intriguing and beautiful fort. Neat and clean without any pigeon or bats nuisance. Parking area is big but we went by auto as it is surrounded by market place. Ticket is for 100rs for adults and 50rs for children below 12 yrs of age. There is a waiting area with many seats near the ticket counter where we have to wait after buying the ticket. Once there were close to 20 to 25 people, we are escorted by the guide inside who is a fort staff. We do not have to pay separately to guide. Fort is beautiful with amazing artwork. Many movies including Manikarnika has been shot here. Musuem is also good. Seperate ticket is needed to visit museum. Just outside the museum, a local painter has a shop. We bought couple of painting. He sells good paintings at a very reasonable price. Must visit place.

One of the finest, delegated place to stay in Bikaner, being a regular customer I know how good their services are, and how good they are at solving the customer's problem. The food is also up to the mark. The reason why I haven't given 5 stars is their management of swimming pool. It's always dirty and requires regular maintenance. Had a great experience there, visited it many times. It is a royal property. The palace is a great way to explore and fall in love with history, royalty and architecture. It is built largely in the European architectural style that will leave you in awe of its beauty. Marriage function, programs can also be organised there. the entire estate comes under the National Heritage Trust. 1. The Karni Mata Temple, located in Deshnok near Bikaner, Rajasthan, is a unique and fascinating Hindu temple dedicated to Karni Mata, a revered sage worshipped as an incarnation of Goddess Durga. 2. Devotees and tourists come from far and wide to seek blessings at the Karni Mata Temple and to witness the extraordinary sight of the rats freely roaming around the temple complex. We also wanted to try camel milk peda, but it was not prepared. Camel milk is salty in taste. We got a ride on camel for hundred each. The uncle who handles the camel is very nice as he helps you click the photo and everything. Please give him hundred or 50 as a tip. There is museum too and you can check there garden plus rearing of camels.

Only place so it is unique that's y giving 4 star but need lot of improvisation when tourist are visiting. There can be proper way to go from one site to another. There can be a compulsory guide to explain the things. There can be proper shops to buy the products. I was expecting a lot but got disappointed, got confused where to go what site is what, lot of stray dogs running, didn't understand anything about the camels present there. My suggestion is increase the price and make it a tourist attraction.

A very over priced activity. We are foreigners so had to pay 200r, the centre itself is very small and almost no signage There is a stable with a number of bull camels, then young males, an enclosure for adult females with a dairy to milk them, and a pen with young camels. They have all the different species of camels there. They do research and run breeding programs, but all you can see are just lots of camels and be charged a lot for that. We were finished in under 15 minutes. You can also buy camel products and get a camel ride. Not worth it.

5Rampuria Haveli

4.5

Mentioned on
Rampuria Haveli is a renowned cluster of aristocratic homes in Bikaner, known for its exquisite architecture and historical significance. Constructed in the 15th century by the affluent Rampuria merchant family, these havelis are made of striking Dulmera red sandstone and showcase a blend of Mughal, Victorian, and Rajputana architectural styles.
Walking through the lanes in-between the multiple havelies of the Rampuria family, you get a feeling as though you are walking in the lanes of Bruges in Belgium. Eventhough you cannot enter any of the havelies, you can walk around all of it. The surroundings and the lanes were well kept and tidy ( at least today). The architecture showcased on the walls of these havelies is mesmerising - all 300 ~ 500 years old. The Havelies are still used by the family members to gather for family functions or festivals.
PRADEEP PANICKER — Google review
Great architecture with very intricate details on the red sand stone facade. Unfortunately the surroundings were extremely dirty with very unpleasant smells. This is something to be improved if people would like to attract more tourists coming to the area. This way, tourism businesses would guaranteed flourish automatically.

Rampuria Haveli is an age old property in old Bikaner that reminds you Rajput Era. It's a private property so you can only visit this from outside but carvings and architecture is so much beautiful that will mesmerized you at once. You can surely add this in your Bikaner itinerary just 15-20 minutes are sufficient for Rampuria Haveli.
Imran Khan — Google review
Since Bikaner is located right in the Thar Desert area, Rampuria Haveli is best to be visited during the winter season. During the winters, the temperatures can dip to freezing points but still a chilly weather is better than an oppressive and dry summer weather which averages around 45-degree Celsius. No tickets are required
Prakash Tanwar — Google review
Then wealthy merchants of Bikaner built stylish homes for themselves. Later the havelis were abandoned and taken under the care of the state tourism board. The striking red facade of these pretty houses make them outstanding. This place has no entry fees and is open all time. You cannot enter the havelis though. So, you can only tour in the lanes and appreciate the exteriors. Every detail on the walls, windows and doors are impressive. From miniature art on the base of the pillars to thick wooden doors and carved window ledges leave you asking for more! The name plates on the doors of the houses depict the merchant's status and the kind of business they were in. It's a shame that the havelis are not open for public. Wonder what the interiors are like. Located in the old city of Bikaner, the dingy lanes and potholed roads might be a turn off. Kids play cricket in the lanes and bikes honking loudly break the silence of the peaceful heritage place. Once the dwelling place of rich tradesmen is now a quiet neighborhood of many secrets inside. Rampuriya havelis are the most photographed structures of the city and there is no charge for photography. Best time to visit and capture the best pictures are early morning and the golden hour in evening. Overhead sun will cast dark shadows and the pictures will not be impressive. Visited the place in 2019 and the visuals still remain fresh in our minds.

Visited Nov 2023. I was living nearby so I had a good look at this place at all hours of the day. Attaching a pic of the haveli in the evening when it is lit up, rare pic I think. Don't have anything to add - the other reviewers have written all there is to say about this place ;-) A must visit place. Difficult to photograph, lack of space and poor light.

Built in the 1400s, Rampuria Haveli in Bikaner stands as a magnificent heritage site commissioned by the affluent Rampuria merchant family. Crafted from Dulmera red sandstone, the Haveli showcases exquisite Mughal, Victorian, and Rajputana architecture, adorned with fine wood artifacts and paintings. Open sections of the Haveli offer a glimpse into its 400-year legacy, allowing visitors to appreciate its splendor in the morning, avoiding the rush. However, be mindful of the locals' tendency to stare, which might create some discomfort. Explore the beauty and architectural marvels of Rampuria Haveli, a testament to the rich heritage of Bikaner.

Beautiful architecture of year 1913 made by Seth Heeral. Permanently closed. You can't enter this premises. It's a world heritage site.

The haveli is just beautiful! The architecture, carvings and doors are all done so aesthetically! It's located in the bylanes of bikaner, hidden away like a gem. The only and the major drawback is that you can't go in, can just admire from outside.

Architecturally pleasing to the eyes, this cluster of havelis on a 50 meter stretch is a must for tourists visiting Bikaner. Although the stench of the drains and traffic might put you off initially.

It's quite a photogenic place. One should visit in daylight in order to capture its beauty which is marvelous.

Rampuriya Haveli in Bikaner is a hidden gem that encapsulates the opulent heritage of Rajasthan. During my recent visit, this architectural marvel left me spellbound, and I was truly captivated by its historical significance. The first thing that strikes you about Rampuriya Haveli is its exquisite architecture. The haveli's facade is adorned with intricate carvings and ornate jharokhas (balconies) that are characteristic of Rajasthani design. As I stepped inside, I was greeted by a beautifully maintained courtyard, complete with a traditional well. The serenity of the haveli's surroundings was a stark contrast to the bustling streets of Bikaner. The interiors of Rampuriya Haveli are a treasure trove of Rajasthani art and culture. Each room is a work of art, with elaborately painted walls and ceilings that depict scenes from mythology, daily life, and the history of Bikaner. The fine detailing in the frescoes is truly remarkable and offers a glimpse into the artistic prowess of the region. The haveli also houses a museum that displays a diverse collection of artifacts, textiles, and antiques. It was a delight to learn about the history of Bikaner and the lifestyles of the Rajputs through the exhibits. The knowledgeable staff added to the experience by sharing interesting anecdotes and insights. Rampuriya Haveli offers a serene and immersive journey into the heritage of Bikaner. Its well-preserved architecture and historical artifacts make it a must-visit for anyone interested in Rajasthani culture and history. The tranquility of the haveli, juxtaposed with its vibrant art and history, creates an unforgettable experience that leaves visitors with a deep appreciation for the rich tapestry of Rajasthan's past. I highly recommend including Rampuriya Haveli in your Bikaner itinerary.

Beautiful place but requires a lot of maintenance. To enhance the beauty of it, the Govt needs to implement more lights on the streets of Rampuria Haveli. Otherwise it's a one time watch place.
Jit Kakra — Google review
Amazing old town of Bikaner. You will find plenty of beautiful Havelis that show how rich the merchants were that built them. Right in the old town there will be prosperous life, Many shops and market stands, street food and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You will always have to watch out for the next motorbike, scooter, tuktuk or cow coming your way. Not so touristy and full of life.

Prefer to visit in morning when crowd is less. It is a group of havelis. This is a private property so you cannot enter. Walking distance from railway station and laxminath g temple.

There are 3 main private properties here known as Rampuria haveli. So much crowded area try to visit at early morning time. Inside entry is totally prohibited. Very beautiful place. Very Welly maintained and this thing makes Rajasthan to special one. From these 3 havelis the central haveli is most attractive due to it's tri-angular shape. You can click here the awesome and cool photos for your memories.

Good place with marvelous architecture design on red stone. Needs only five to ten minutes to visit. Only from outside you can see as not allowed to visit from inside.

Rampuria Haveli is one of the oldest part of the walled city. Frontal face of this haveli is made up of curved red sandstone quarried from nearby Dulmera mines. Best time to visit this place is early morning so that it will be less crowded and you can take your car near to the Haveli.

Chunnilal Sharbat is a renowned destination offering a wide array of flavored syrups, known as Sharbats. These delightful beverages come in flavors like rose, fennel, almonds, and more. Served in charming Kulhads, these cold drinks are made from flavored concentrates such as Gulkand and saffron, diluted with water and sweetened with sugar.
Bela and rose sharbat are too good and fresh. I liked both Khus is also good

Sharbats served in charming Kulhads, making for a heavenly and refreshing summer drink. The sweet cold beverages are crafted from a variety of flavored concentrates, such as Gulkand (rose petals), saffron, black Sharbat, and more. Diluted with water, sweetened with sugar, and accompanied by ice cubes, these Sharbats are a perfect blend of natural flavors. Served in handle-less earthen mugs, the experience is not just a taste of sweetness but a delightful way to beat the summer heat.
Kru S — Google review
This shop offers 15 varieties of sharbat. All are homemade by the family. No branches out other outlets. Tasted every variety. Each taste matches the name. Every sharbat is naturally processed ( organically processed is the new name). It is a family business well kept and maintained.

You will get all the flavours and syrup you can drink especially during summers and it is also very good for health if you consume it in the right amount. Authentic taste and fragrance from the drinks gives you refreshments you want.

Oh this place was never on our to do list or on any platform. Our auto driver took us to this place and it was so much nice. The refreshing flavours of sharbat were so nice. The owner was really courteous and helped us in choosing flavour by letting us try different ones. I felt in love with the safed gulab. We went again the next day and bought 4-5 bottles of sharbat in different flavours. Obviously something good needs to be taken home.

Best quality sharbat , served in the famous kulhadh...have different flavours... All flavours are very unique in taste but My personal favourite is Bela (Jasmine)... It's the best 😍 You people must try ...and can take bottle of that sharbat for home...
Radhika Mundhra — Google review
This sharabat place close to hundred year old. The existence of a small eatery or beverage shop tells us it's glory. Sharbat may be called summer beverage or syrup in literally translated English. The nice sharbat will quench your thirst. This part of India is exposed to hard summers and most time of the years remains under high or extreme temperatures. Therefore, it became imperative to maintain appropriate body fluid throughout hot temperature. And the places like Chunnilal Sharbat is the big deal. I have tasted 3 types of Sharbats here and I quench my thirst. It was exhausting to visit palaces and museum but once I had sharbats from this place it had had help me to rehydrate for further destinations in the city. Keep traveling, Keep rediscovering! Vegetarian restaurant
Utsav Restaurant is a unique eatery that combines the flavors of North India, South India, and continental cuisine. This vegetarian restaurant has a charming ambiance inspired by highways, with truck and jeep fronts as well as decorative wheels. The restaurant offers both indoor seating in a comfortable air-conditioned space and fast food options for those seeking quick bites. It is a great place to visit in the evening, whether you are with your partner or close friends, offering a calm atmosphere to enjoy good company.
Delicious food. Aesthetic ambience. Fast service. Good ingredient used for food preparation.

Food is good. Ambience is good. Clean- when you ask the staff to clean properly. Service poor. Only one cleaning staff, one serving staff. And one person to take order.
Benoy Jagadeesh — Google review
Utsav is newly built, it has good interiors, seating capacity is also decent, its located at a very well connected place, easy to reach from most parts of the city, with good parking space. There is party hall and garden also for larger gathering. Overall food id good, bit costly, taste and quality is good. Pizza was not good though, I would avoid it. Apart from that service was good, staff is well behaved. If you are looking for a good vegetarian restaurant, Utsav is now part of that list.

Good calm place to visit in the evening. You can visit with your ♥️ partner or your close friends to spend some good time. We ordered a shake, paneer pops and chowmeen there. Taste of the food was average. Cost according to taste and quality seemed high. Interior design of the cafe is inspired by design and components of vehicles which gives it a different look. I have added some photographs with the review in which you can see exactly how the cafe looks like.

Gallops Restaurant & Coffee House is a charming eatery located opposite Junagarh Fort, offering a variety of Indian, Rajasthani, Continental, and Chinese dishes. The restaurant boasts ample seating and a dreamy ambiance with views of the fort. With prices starting as low as 50, it serves scrumptious delicacies with unique Bikaneri flavors. Must-try dishes include Rajasthani Ker Sangri and their special Wood Fire Pizzas.
Quick and prompt service. Parking space available. Very nice ambience for chilling out with friends and family. Authentic Rajasthani dishes available with good combination of Indian bread, rice and Indian Chinese dishes.

Good restaurant with a great view! It's a popular spot for tourists. It offers an amazing view of the Junagarh Fort as well as delicious Indian Cuisines. Perfect to grab a quick coffee and a perfect photo too. Fantastic Pizza! It was very fresh and flavorful. A little slow, but worth the wait. Yum! But Cold Coffee's price is high and taste is not so good. Went there for the first time last night, and will definitely be back.

The place is located just in front of Fort Junagadh in Bikaner,it has a bit of heritage vibe and you can sit both in the inside as well as outside (under the shed). The service is normal neither too fast nor slow,i had paneer tikka and it was good, had a smokey flavour to it and the quantity is also adequate as they use 200gm paneer for that,so you can gave it a try with some shakes or cold drinks. Overall if you want to go on a date or with your family to a place where you want some silence and want to spend some quality time than i guess you can try this one. The only con is that the rates are bit on a higher side.

Gallops is my one of favourite restaurant in Bikaner to spend some quality time with friends and family. 15 years ago, when I first visited this place found worth visiting. Since then this restaurant is not changed much, cozy sofas replaced by standard solid wood dining table chair..outside open air bamboo muddha is as it is..October to Februaryduring tourist season place is remain occupied by foreigntourists..white gravy pasta, freshly roasted beans coffee and masala tea is my personal favourite, rest of menu is as usual like any other premium restaurant..masala tea is priced at 100rs per cup and one cup coffee comes with 175rs price tag..rest you may imagine..but tea pot is having ample of tea, you may fill 4 cups even...so I'm always happy to be here..5 stars for staff's polite and well mannered behaviour. Simran Chahal — Google review
Food was good but I expect that from such a restaurant which serves Indian cuisine. Service and the whole management of the restaurant is very poor. There is no experience here, this is not a fine dine. People keep coming and going wearing track pants and picking up their orders. The reception/cash counter looks horrible. There is nothing in the name of the atmosphere. The floor is uneven so your chair or table may give you a seesaw effect. Restaurant is expensive for what it has to offer.

Immersed in the charm of Bikaner's Juna garh majestic fort, this multi-cuisine Indian cafe and restaurant is a true gem. The diverse menu boasts authentic flavors that tantalize the taste buds. From rich curries to tantalizing tandoori delights, each dish is a culinary masterpiece. The ambiance is a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, creating a delightful dining experience. With attentive service and a breathtaking view, it's a culinary journey worth savoring. One thing they can certainly ask if coffee or tea to be served before or after the meal.

This restaurant is in front of Junagarh fort. You can spend quality time there with your close ones. The taste of the food is good, staff members are very nice. The sitting facility is provided by them inside as well as outside, where you can enjoy the live music and a big screen. I ordered Lal maans which was good in taste. Parking facility is available. I feel it is little expensive.

The place was buzzeling after 3 years covid hardship, service was good and very friendly, I had paneer Tikka massala with Jazeera rice, and it was jummy jummy, Medium spicy which was exactly to my liking. It was delicious. I definitely will go back. I bin back today, to taste the Bikaner speciality. The place was clean and cozy, 3 stars just to let the owner know that if he had a good season, maybe tidy up some small things (tidy the curtains), inside some art and more plants, soft lightning. Just my take on it.

Food was good n price was reasonable. But need to focus on cleaning n hygiene food quantity n quality n price was very good.junagarh special shake was good. Discount was also there in specific items We were looking for a lunch option and were recommended this restaurant by our guide. Located opposite Junagarh fort this restaurant is stylish in its setting in an old world sort of way. Cane furniture strewn on a lawn, with monogrammed china ware, quick service and tasty food delivered to our table quickly, we could feel the stresses and strains of Delhi slipping away from us as we just took in the fresh air, plotted our next drive to see the camels. Restro is very neat & clean.

CARELESS AND RUDE STAFF. I hosted my friends at the hotel and the experience ended up quite bitter purely because of carelessness of front desk staff. My friend left an important item there which was to be collected by me later on but unfortunately they misplaced it. What made it worse was them nonchalantly saying it was thrown with garbage. Not a single hint of regret on their face let alone apologizing for their behavior. What kind of hospitality this is, is just beyond me. Now reading the other reviews I really regret not reading them before booking the place.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Hotel Sagar in Bikaner. While we had booked our rooms in advance, our arrival at the hotel was met with an unwelcoming and arrogant front desk staff. The whole experience was far from pleasant. Things only got worse when we were shown to our rooms. The ambience of the hotel was off-putting, and we immediately decided that we would not be checking in. There was an uneasy feeling that permeated throughout the hotel, and it was clear that our stay would not be a comfortable one. The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths. It's disappointing to arrive at a hotel with high expectations, only to be met with a rude and unwelcoming staff. While we understand that not every hotel will be a perfect fit for every guest, the lack of hospitality and professionalism at Hotel Sagar was particularly disappointing. Overall, I cannot recommend Hotel Sagar in Bikaner based on my experience. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming hotel experience, it's best to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other options in the area that will provide a much more enjoyable stay.

Had the misfortune of staying in this place last week. One of the worst places I have ever stayed and I have stayed in innumerable hotels over the last 30 years across the country as well as outside. The rooms are claustrophobic. Once inside you have no way of telling if it's 12 noon or 12 midnight. There are no windows you see, all in the aving just to make sure you are getting it right. There is no space to keep your toiletries in the bathroom, I had to keep my toothbrush, shaving kit etc inside the room you see. On top of this, there is no partition for the shower area. So once you've had a shower the entire place is totally wet. They do provide "complimentary" breakfast but the spread is terrible. One wonders if it's the same chef who prepares the other meals you are paying for or he's under instructions to make a mess out of it. Overall this is a place one should avoid at all costs.

We stayed here looking at the rating and reviews. But the reality is different. We stayed in room 402. Tiny stinking horrible room. They don't have extra beds....they just gave a mattress on the floor. Bathroom has no shower partitions. It was stinking a lot. We had to get room sprayed with room freshener twice in a day. The tea bags at the kettle were kept open and were dirty and unable. Towels were srained. Breakfast is very basic and they serve water in paper cups...food wasn't good at all. The guy at the reception need to take a course on manners and basic communication skills as he lacked both. Overall a must avoid hotel....had a terrible time at the hotel.

It is one of the good places in Bikaner where you can spend some good time. Hotel gives you a heritage property feel. It's a complete vegetarian hotel. They have 3 restaurants set up with 74 rooms. Rooms are good and spacious. Rooms are not so modern but they are clean and neat. Rooms do not have ventilation but it does not make so much difference since now a days people use airconditioner and do not open the windows. Food quality is ok. Not so lavish spread in dinner but it's ok. For one or 2 nights it's an ok property.

No heater facitlity and poor service quality as I visited during the winters. The rooms and architecture of the building is beautiful but lacks in some basic facilities like geazer malfunction, tv not working, etc. The rooms are doable for summers but not at all recomended if you are visiting during the winters, if no improvements are done in the current conditions. In all modesty, this was one of the worst experiences in the entire tour.

We booked 2 delux rooms. But room allotted 116 and 117 was very conjusted. Hot water will get only one bucket at a time. If we want more we have to wait. No dust bin, no kettle for making tea or coffee (only sachets kept in small rack ), no hangers for keeping cloth. Even they dont have courtesy to keep one water bottle. On demand only they will serve.
