This small but amazing museum has a vast amount of artefacts from different periods of history, and is stuffed full of fascinating information. It's a lovely place to wander around, and the staff are very welcoming. The garden is also a beautiful added bonus. If only it served tea in the summer!
Such a lot to see, so many different sorts of things, Old carvings from the Abbey, strange tools for basket weaving, a huge mill, a fairground horse, a door from the jail. A beautiful garden with many little treasures fitted around. Nice shop. Uneven floors, stairs to higher floor.
Catherine McGowan — Google review
Beautiful historic building. So much fitted into what looks like a small space from the outside.
R O — Google review
I went yesterday and it was back to normal after the lockdown measures were in place. Obviously it still had hand sanitiser by the door and signs telling you to keep a 2 meter distance. The museum is very interesting to look at but the only thing was one of the buttons that you press in the victorian kitchen wasn't working but I did mention that to one of the members of staff yesterday. They are doing a Halloween event this year about the black plauge which I would like to go to as it sounds interesting especially considering I have come here for years.
Neil Lugg — Google review
We keep going back to the Almonry because there is so much to see there. It is fascinating to see the tools and household objects of a bygone age.
Andy Hope — Google review
I loved coming here today to see everything. It is so packed up with history here too including a Victorian Kitchen, Undercroft Museum, School Room and little shop scenes downstairs. Very atmospheric museum and as I have also got a return pass ticket, I can come back again!!

What a fantastic small museum this is, right in the heart of Evesham. Well worth a visit, you wouldn't be disappointed. Brilliant place to visit.
David Cowley — Google review
A wonderful museum which looks titchy from the outside but is massive inside with so many artefacts from different periods of history. Absolutely fascinating place and a lovely garden to recover from your exploration! Delightfully welcoming staff too. What more could you want from a museum? Ps Does it serve tea in the garden during the summer months? Absolutely perfect if it does!
Mica100 — Google review
Brilliant and there is so much to see. Hurry to visit before it closes for refurbishment in September
James Merrigan — Google review
Totally loved it here, you could spend hour's here just soaking up the history in this 400 year house and with a £5 entry fee it is worth every penny, two floors of jam packed history and a old collection of toys on the second floor will take you back to your school day's
Linda Cox — Google review
I was surprised at how much interesting stuff was on display in such a wonderful old building. Very interesting place to visit at a very reasonable cost.
Maz Maszlag — Google review
An excellent museum, featuring a large and important collection of artifacts from the great medieval abbey that once stood there. The museum building is itself impressively ancient. Collections of archaeology and military equipment, traditional craftsmanship and artisans' tools. Museum staff were friendly, well informed and helpful. Surviving buildings of the abbey complex include a large and impressive bell tower, equipped in recent times with a full peal of bells, which now ring under computer control. A 35 minute peal of many intricate changes was absolutely delightful to hear from the museum on a sunny morning in early August.

Abbey Park is a well-maintained, landscaped park with plenty of activities for kids. The park includes a memorial monument and is close to a church and bell tower. It's perfect for a day out with family or friends!
Abbey Park is a fantastic outdoor place!! There is a great children's play area for a range of ages, a small water play area and a football court. The park has a wonderful memorial monument and is close to a church and bell tower. Let's also not forget to mention its' beautiful riverside location for strolling, sitting or feeding the ducks & swans 😊
Sara — Google review
Honestly one of the best parks I've ever been to! There's so much to look at and do. There's a splash area for kids to play in on a hot day, there's a beautiful river right to the side to watch the boats and feed the swans and ducks, there's plenty of play areas for children so they don't get bored. Plenty of room to have picnics and there's even picnic benches which you don't often find in some parks. There's a skate park for people who like to skateboard and Rollerblade. There are toilets on site, very clean too. Plenty of benches. The parking was perfect too! The parking lot literally is right to the side of the park. You walk out of the lot and you're in the park. So handy. The car park does look a little bit sketchy at the bottom levels but top levels beautiful views. Very cheap too!
Meggy Moo — Google review
Fantastic park! A credit to council for creating and maintaining such a lovely park. Always feel better after visiting.
Andy Cowie — Google review
Nice day out at the Park, friends and family went to meet up and my brothers and there friends in the water park. They have lots of areas to sit and have different areas to play such as the water park, sandpit area with all the classic park rides and an obstacle course area. All of which were used on this visit. We also enjoyed a nice walk up the river and saw plenty of geese, ducks and swans. Great place to bring the family will be back soon
Joe Brennan — Google review
Lovely place, public toilets were clean and fresh. Definitely be back with my granddaughter
Marina Sollis — Google review
One can't help but be struck by the sheer beauty of the park's well-maintained gardens. Lush green lawns stretch as far as the eye can see, punctuated by vibrant flower beds that change with the seasons. It's a photographer's dream, with every angle offering a picture-perfect view. Whether you're strolling along the peaceful River Avon or enjoying a picnic under the shade of ancient trees, the park offers a serene and picturesque setting.
Khushi Mehta — Google review
Lovely park with lots for the kids to do, multi playground areas including water area and separate sand area, in addition to landscaped areas and separated playgrounds! Well worth a visit if in the area and a lovely walkway along the river too!
Vikash Gandhi — Google review
Only went for a brief visit so I knew how to get there when I take the kids, but I know they will love it. A lovely walk by the river, and some beautiful views of fields of trees.
Louise Bennington — Google review
Lovely waterside park. Well maintained grounds. Park area great for young children, sand floor. Lots of space for children to play. There is also a tennis court. Great walk, lots of areas to sit down next to the water as well as around the area. Lots of history to read and learn about. Parking in multi story car park next to the park. Parking was £1.50 for 2 hours so reasonably priced.
Ashleigh G — Google review
Lovely park on the river Avon in the heart of Evesham. Lota of good play opportunities, but worth noting these are all open (not enclosed with a fence) so if your kid likes to wander or dogs are a bother this might cause you difficulties.
H Crouch — Google review
Beautiful park to relax to walk or take your children to have fun and there’s really amazing parts of the Abbey park where you can eat they sell even coffee ice cream it’s a good day out by the river I can recommend this place. Mr. Wig. YouTube

The ferry service at Hampton (River Avon) was not utilized by the person, who instead chose to walk around the area. They discovered this option while searching for affordable all-day parking that cost only £2.00 and provided peace of mind without having to constantly check the time on a parking meter. Evesham town can be easily accessed through a short riverside stroll with ample seating available for relaxation.
Lovely place to walk the dogs to and stop for a drink by the river.
Tracey Mackay — Google review
This place is beautiful. It's a peaceful haven away from the city. Loving the fact that there aren't any cars there. I highly recommend Raphaels restaurant. It's clean, cozy and very friendly. The staff and locals are very friendly and sociable and make you feel welcome. The food is freshly cooked and looks delicious.

Very pretty walk! There's a car park at the bottom of the narrow road with lots of spaces and a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.
Rebecca — Google review
The cafe on the river is a great place for a coffee, cooked breakfast or lunch. The menu is good and price is very reasonable. Family enjoyed bacon, egg and sausage sandwiches and they were super. The walk by the river is so nice with great views. Great route for dog walking.
Cyndi Homer — Google review
I felt very welcome and really enjoyed a nice cold beverage sitting by the river. I would really recommend coming here if you are looking for a relaxing afternoon in the sun with gorgeous views of the river. ☀️☀️☀️
Mark Irving — Google review
I did not use the ferry but did plenty of walking in this area I only really found out about it when I was looking for all day parking a bargain at £2.00 for all day no worries of having to keep looking at the watch to ensure you are back in time for the parking meter. Access to Evesham town can be reached by a short walk along the river with plenty of seating to relax should you wish. There is also a restaurant near the ferry although it was only serving alcohol at the time I was there, what is nicer though than a pint by the River Avon.

November 23rd, a lovely sunny day, so we had a drive out to Hampton Ferry for a walk, and a coffee and cake, just the job.

We didn't actually go on the ferry. A quiet day, no one attending the carpark. Parked in the closed cafe carpark. Took a short walk along the river before heading into the town to find somewhere to eat.

Shopping mall
Nature & Parks
The Valley Evesham is a modern shopping center and garden with over 40 shops, eateries, and leisure facilities. It offers a delightful shopping experience surrounded by picturesque countryside views. Visitors can enjoy browsing through clothing stores, dining at various eateries, and exploring the garden center. Families can also take their children to the playground or enjoy a ride on the miniature railway.
In a shopping village, if you're after entertaining the kids for a few hours and get a little shopping done then this is a good place. Low cost and fun mini steam engine to take you to and from a playground - nice walk there too.
Phil Hexley — Google review
Pretty nice garden centre / "Boutique Retail park" the garden centre itself offers a mixture of plants, flowers & seeds along with the now typical displays of 'up market' rakes, spades that you seem to see at most garden centres. Also sell bath salts, clothes etc The outer retail shops are your typical mountain warehouse, the works, weird fish, Fat Face, Cotton Traders etc
Nigel Underhill (MrXeis) — Google review
A busy centre. Good array of shops. Plenty of restaurants, toilets, opportunities for seating. The garden centre is wide ranging in terms of goods, some lovely cards at reasonable prices. Nice cheese van selling local cheeses. Great place for a cloudy day. Good parking
Carole Dyehouse — Google review
Nice place to visit if you have plenty of money. Mostly designer shops but the craft place was nice. The best place was the Home & Garden store. Lots of nice things with a variety of prices. The Christmas area inside is the best I've ever seen! A huge display of everything you could possibly imagine for Christmas, from the smallest bauble to the huge gonks (my personal favourites) and a lovely display of singing penguins. I'll be coming back just for this next Christmas.
Tanya Graves — Google review
Lovely shops. A great small railway that takes you up to a children's play area and picnic spot. And a brilliant crazy golf course and high wire. A brilliant family day out.

Great place , free parking , shops include fat face , cotton traders, tog 24 Mountain warehouse etc. Few coffee shops , good size garden centre. Little train that go around at the far car park this was £8.70 return for one adult amd two children. Under 2s go free and you can take dogs on. Lovely walks around. Ball pit for kids to play in. Food not great in cafe but coffee was good amd kids enjoyed playing. We stayed altogether for around 2.5 hours.

1 of my fave places to visit. 2 good sized car parks. I lower and I further up the road. The Garden centre is 1 of the nicest ones I've been too. Good sized restaurant, good choice of food and reasonable prices. Lots of unique products. There are a variety of popular stores all within a minutes walk of one another. Nice and flat too so suits a variety of visitor's mobility needs. Couple of cafes too. All very nice. Outdoor seating in warmer seasons. Worth a visit.

Visited as part of a ride on the light railway. Good selection of shops and activities for kids. Grab & Go pop up (Flavour Catering) do amazing pulled pork baps, burgers, cornish pasties etc. Skip breakfast for this, you won't be disappointed!

We had a saunter through when going on the light railway and mini golf. Lovely shops, great smoothies from the coffee shop on a hot day. Toilets were clean but two out of the four ladies loos were out of order so a bit of a queue.
Hayley McGurgan — Google review
Nice couple of hours out. All places now dog friendly. Just can't take them in the restaurant of the garden centre. You can go outside in the garden with them if you are eating though, so lovely in the summer ☀️

What a hidden gem this is. Stopped on our way to ledbury Herefordshire. Dogs welcome and plenty of choice for coffee or a snack. Lots of stores and a miniature railway. Dog trail and garden center too. Excellent location as plenty of parking. Would definately stop here again.

fayt atreides — Google review
Great shopping area, with places to eat and good toilet facilities. The car park is large and it does get very busy which can mean a walk from car to shops but it's worth it and there is plenty of room for wheelchairs.
Natalie Gisbourne-Hanks — Google review
The Misses went on a spending spee in Leading Lables, I sat in the sun. We also went on the Blossom trail boat trip up the Avon river, very peaceful on the river, Captain Jonathan was in full control. There were lots of outlet shops and a butty Shed trying to mug punters for £7.50 for a Breakfast Bap. As you can imagine custom was slow. The complex it self is good though, worth a look round.
Bagpuss — Google review
I won't be returning, only shops here such as Regatta and Fat Face. Prices inside the restaurants were ridiculously high for basic items. Best thing about this area is a high walk and train.

The Orchard Beefeater is a chain restaurant that offers a variety of grilled meats and international dishes like fajitas. Many people prefer to stay at Premier Inn locations with Beefeaters, as the breakfast service is excellent. The staff are friendly and they offer a self-service continental breakfast, along with a well-cooked and delicious cooked breakfast. It's great value for money, especially considering that kids eat for free.
Amazing breakfast this morning, I arrived at 6-30, the buffet was fantastic the scrabbled egg was unreal. It was lovely to speak to the chef, I will definitely be returning next time I'm working in Evesham. Many thanks.

First time ever in a beefeater, the staffs service amazing very helpful cannot knock it but the mains not very nice I had the fish and chips ( cod was not good and portion size for the chips was terrible) and my wife went for the roast ( carrots were hard and rest wasn't good), deserts were a lot better.
Macho Nacho 57 — Google review
The table was sticky, the dishes had clear signs of not being washed properly. When I asked for tissues, as I had just one and I needed an EXTRA one, I was told “but you already HAVE one on the table”. Service is very bad. Just because we’re tourists, or they thought we’re immigrants, we were treated differently. Service was very slow and bad for us, but for others which came later than us, was perfect. Food was on time, no waiting… whatever. The pancakes were the bought for sure from Lidl and then refrigerated and then warmed up for us, because they were crumbly. This is what happens to dough after you refrigerate it. And they were dry AF.
Iulia Moldovan — Google review
The food was good, good portions, friendly staff (-1 young guy at the bar last night, he don’t know nothing about customers service and manners) our dinner was good and our breakfast as well, it was a nice experience!
Anthony Pascal — Google review
As I'm a regular visitor to Premier Inn I do prefer to stay at ones with Beefeaters, the breakfast service at this Beefeater was first class with friendly staff and a welcome return of the help yourself continental breakfast, the cooked breakfast was the best I've ever had at a Premier Inn with bacon cooked perfectly and not overcooked like many other places. I would stay/eat here again.
Paul Moore — Google review
Excellent service & food. All staff were polite and helpful. Big shout out to Luke who went big and beyond to make our evening special.
Tegan McVicker — Google review
Just popped by on our way home. The service could do with a bit of work. We stood by the for for at least 10 minutes waiting to be seated. The guy on the bar (not very friendly) wasn't busy so we asked him if we could be seated and was told no wait for the manager. We ordered ourselves a drink while we waited which we asked for ourselves. The restaurant wasn't busy so not really sure why we waited and 2 people looked at us at one point and one continued to walk past us and the other was chatting with the guy behind the bar. It is very clean and tidy. The main meals were really good. The desert was ok but nothing special. Though there would of been more bananas in it. There is up to 3 hours free parking if you are there just add the registration on the screen as you enter.

Took my young daughter and met a friend here. 2 breakfasts (pick your own fry up and continental selection) apple juice, and 2 lattes, £9.99! Amazing value. I didn't realise kids ate free, so that was a bonus. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. My only recommendation is Book! They get very busy during the holidays.
S — Google review
Why 4 stars not 5 ! One member of staff rebooked us in for tomorrow fantastic! One member of staff not very friendly really needs to practice with child skills & customers service even thou it’s very busy you still stay professional! Food is amazing, seating is beautiful coffee is great !
Massimino Malacrino — Google review
The quality of the food just wasn't there in comparison to other beefeaters that I've been to. I had the fish and chips. The fish was decent apart from the overly greasy batter and the chips were practically raw. The steak in the mixed grill my partner had was overcooked, cold and chewy (asked for it to be cooked rare). Wouldn't recommend coming here for food. Probably best to just pop in for a drink.
Theo Leader — Google review
We had a few breakfasts and 2 dinners there - the food was good, no complaints. Beefeater breakfasts are standard and good portion sizes and value for money. Dinner was good too although a prawn dish only had 4 prawns in it for £18 - so a bit disappointed and a few dishes were off the menu as they had run out of them, which was a shame. However a special call out to Ryan who was brilliant and he got my steak cooked to perfection (as I like it) and looked after us well. The restaurant itself is a bit dated and needs a refresh without long.

We visited Casa last weekend and were all left impressed The food was all very nice and the service from the staff was excellent. The venue looks very nice throughout and has a great atmosphere. The food prices were fair with good portion sizes. Far too many places have terribly small portion sizes so we were very pleased. Great restaurant that none of us could fault. I hope to visit again sometime soon!

We had a birthday celebration family meal here recently, enjoyed by all! We all thought the food was delicious and the portions were very generous! The wait staff were very polite and attentive and were even happy to sing “Happy Birthday” to the birthday girl when bringing out her desserts, to make the meal extra special! A lovely place to eat in Evesham!

Whilst in Evesham today we decided to pop in on the off chance for some food, it looked nice from the outside and upon walking in we were greeted and shown to a table, the menu full of great Italian dishes at reasonable price's, the drinks were quick, the starters straight after and the mains soon came out after, we were full but of course had desert too. The food was excellent, the service exceptional, the restaurant itself with a clean and smart atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing!!! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff were great and very welcome. The food was a wonderful surprise. I had pasta with prawn, garlic and pistachios as a main and it was one of the best Italian dishes I have ever had. We also had mushrooms and goat cheese bruschetta as starters (I will definitely come back to have these bruschettas again). I went there to celebrate my birthday and it couldn't have been better. Highly recommend
Vyrna Abu — Google review
Our first experience here was very good, nice meal, good service. So we went back with our 10 yr old granddaughter. What a let down - the service was like pulling teeth. They weren't even busy. It was utterly amateur. My husband's food & granddaughter's pizza were nice, but my starter was absolutely laced with salt. It had the potential to be delicious; gamberi - but it was almost inedible. And I love salty food - if it's too salty for me, it's salty! Told the person who appeared to be the manager for the evening, gormless and useless and no attempt at an apology. Said she'd informed the kitchen not to put too much salt in our main course - that was it! Tonight we ordered pizza for takeaway, as our granddaughter is staying with us again. One Margerita (it's the only pizza she'll eat) and one Con Carne Mista (which my husband had ordered on our first visit) for us. My husband drove from Hampton to collect. When it came to dishing up, our pizza looked odd and we didn't think it was what we'd ordered, but we weren't sure. It had prawns on it and we were pretty sure the one he'd had in the restaurant didn't. I bit into a piece, and omg, the salt! It was disgusting, and clearly not what we'd ordered. Husband phoned up, and yes, they'd got the order wrong and he had to drive all the way back to collect what we'd actually paid for. In the meantime granddaughter had started to eat her Margerita - only to reject it after 2 slices as it was overcooked and hard - burnt in fact. See photos. Phoned husband to get him to tell them but he'd already left the restaurant. Staff at restaurant apologetic over getting the order wrong, but no attempt at refunding any of the cost to cover the inconvenience etc. After gd's pizza was inedible and our pizza being wrong, not to mention biting into a God awful salty prawn one, by the time we got the right one neither one of us was in the mood for pizza or food full stop. An expensive and highly inconvenient evening. After first eating there and being impressed, we thought we'd found a new go-to place for dinner, seeing as the other Italian eateries in the town are not open in the evenings. But never again. If they can't maintain a standard across three consecutive visits then forget it. And there's no excuse for poor service, especially when there's three waiting on and the place is virtually empty. They've lost lunchtime, dinner & takeaway custom from us. The personal service, the quality of the food, and the attention to detail are all far superior at Delicious & Flavours - what a shame they're not open in the evenings. Quite disgusted with this evening's experience at Casa. What if one of us had had a shellfish allergy . . .

The Blue Lagoon is a charming eatery in Sylhet, Bangladesh, offering a fusion of Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine. With a cozy and open atmosphere, this restaurant provides a refreshing dining experience. Despite some technical issues with the online reservation system, booking by phone proved convenient. The delectable dishes are reasonably priced, although the beer selection may be on the pricier side as anticipated. The attentive and friendly staff compensate for any service delays experienced due to new personnel.
Excellent food, some of best we have ever had. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were able to book by phone since the online system wasn't working, so that was great. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Beer was expensive but kind of expected that. The staff were lovely and attentive but service was slow and we waited a while for our food. However, management was really apologetic and mentioned they had new staff. We weren't in a hurry so it didn't bother us. We'd go there again and would recommend it to others. Major advantage to us was being a five minute walk from our hotel! 😊

The order was missing 2 x garlic rice. Phoned and was told the restaurant was closed and they would look at it tomorrow. Not much help when we are eating tonite! It’s a shame as the food received was good, but the service aspect wasn’t. Wouldn’t recommend or use again based on that

I have just ordered a takeaway and requested that none of it has peanuts as I have an allergy. I was so specific to the point they asked if ‘almond dust’ in the lamb korma is fine. Having taken my first bite I immediately had an allergic reaction. The guy on the phone just said oh the waiter must not have understood what you were saying. What’s the point in stating you have an allergy?! Eating here seems to be a risk if you do…
Oliver Lloyd-Wright — Google review
Food is good! Can't complain. Service too pushy asking for more and more (upsale of course). Prices are ok, although starters are very expensive. Also when asked for a receipt, I was handed only written one sadly and this isnt ok. Clearly this seems dodgy and the computer with pos was off, looks like all the time since ever

Good vegetarian options! Takeaway ready in 30mins. Generous portions and piping hot. Enjoyed the mushroom dishes, especially the aloo garlic mushrooms! But the vegetable curry was disappointing as it only had tinned vegetables in it. Kind staff, would use again if back in area.

We went last weekend to visit The Blue Lagoon and it was a terrific experience! The staff were very friendly and the owner, Mr Islam, was so welcoming and friendly too. We ate the chicken stir fry and beef biriyani and it was excellent and at a reasonable price point. They even treated us to some complimentary coffee and soft drinks! The atmosphere was nice and cosy. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I recently had an early evening meal at the Thatched Tavern and it was one of the best pub meals I've had in a long time. The food was fantastic and it's clear that the chef loves what they do. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a pub, with a lively bar full of locals. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great advice on what to order. I will definitely be returning.
Exceptional food in a warm and welcoming historic pub. The staff were all very attentive and friendly, as we're the locals. Good selection of ales and very reasonable prices for the high quality.

Well done for accommodating a party of 16 yesterday with little notice at all. A long table had been prepared in a small area of the restaurant which was perfect. Staff were brilliant! They were well organised, patient and provided quality service. All meals arrived together which was an absolute bonus. As for the food.....delicious and tasty. Thank you for rounding off what was a lovely day.

What a lovely place. Lovely young lady behind the bar showed great interest in us and our needs. We had a nice drink sitting in the window first before ordering a lovely Lunch. I had the gorgeous Mushroom Soup of the day and my wife had the Whipped Feta choice. Would definitely recommend as everyone is made to feel welcome.

Went to the pottery experience over the road and came here for Sunday lunch. Absolutely great value. Roast beef was wonderful. Generous portions. Lovely fresh vegetables. Wish we lived nearer! Thank you for looking after us so well. Congratulations on such a great pub.

We dropped in for an early evening meal and had one of the best pub meals I have had in ages 😋. Great food, the chef definitely has a love for what he does. ( good choice on menu ) The atmosphere was how a pub should be, with a bar full of locals you can't go wrong! Friendly smiling attentive staff, who have a knowledge of whats on the menu , giving good advice on whats available. Will definitely be back. 👍🥰

Really old and super nice bar - restaurant. The beer you want, the service you want and … the food you want. We were lucky to have a place at the bar and of course a table to eat. We were there on a Tuesday .. and it was crowded.

Stunning old pub and decorated sympathetically inside. Decent range of local ales. Food looked good as well.

Yearly treat for the great grand folks and the Sunday lunch was tip top! Feel they could do with a few more staff members as the 2 servers and the lady behind the bar were run off their feet meaning you had to remind them that you were waiting for things but they soon then jumped on it. Defo visit again 👌🏻…. Although add stuffing on the Sunday lunch please ! 🤣🙏

Had a lovely meal here on a Saturday night. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. There was a varied menu to choose from which catered for most allergy and dietary requirements. The service was efficient and the food and drink was excellent. Most tables were taken but I didn't feel crowded which was good. I think we will be booking here more often in the future.

Thai restaurant
Thai Emerald is a restaurant that offers traditional Thai cuisine. The interior of the restaurant is adorned with intricately carved teak artwork and furniture, creating an authentic atmosphere. Customers have praised the delicious food, which includes a variety of starters, mains, and rice dishes. The taste is described as amazing and the portion sizes are generous. Some customers were unable to finish their meals and took leftovers home for later. The restaurant itself is beautiful, featuring a mesmerizing Koi Pond at its entrance.
Extremely authentic decor, service was perfect and good was even better. Amazing visit from setting foot in the place to leaving Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and appreciate the flavours of the Thai cuisine

First visit and initial impressions were very very good. Beautiful decor, nicely presented tables and soft lighting. Only one other couple in (with one further couple joining later in the eve). Friendly staff. However, the food was poor. Really poor. Ordered the Bangkok buffet for two consisting of a starter selection and a few mains. Everything provided was so devoid of flavour and if I had to guess, had been microwaved then sent out. Chicken dishes were particularly dry and disappointing. Dishes sold as "three chilli's" in terms of spice rating (the highest the restaurant offered) lacked any body or taste. If I was offered this meal back to back with a Tesco ready meal, I wouldn't be able to pick. The waiter, though polite, suggested that Thai food doesn't tend to have any kick. Certainly not the case in my experience where Thai food has been a fresh and vibrant affair. Thai emerald isn't a particularly cheap experience and one left thinking that I'd paid purely for heating, lighting and an elaborate water feature. I honestly do not understand the 4.6 rating (at time of review), so can only assume an incredibly "off" night was had. That being said, I would never personally recommend visiting.

I was sad to find out that Thai Emerald no longer do the Sunday buffet. The food was exceptionally well presented, the chicken was a little overdone but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The restaurant was a delight to be in and the bathroom was beautiful also, clean throughout. Couldn't ask for more.

We had a wonderful meal at the Thai Emerald this evening. The restaurant is truly unique, showcasing incredible carved sculptures, every chair, every table, it really was a special setting. As we walked in we were greeted by an indoor koi pond, this already a favourite of mine, really made me feel at home from the start. A bridge to cross into the restaurant was a fun experience. The staff were kind and attentive, taking our drinks order soon after we were seated. We had a good look at the menu and ordered our food soon after. The food arrived swiftly and was absolutely delicious, all piping hot and incredibly tasty. Our only regret is we couldn’t have tried more. If you like Thai food, and want an experience whilst dining, give the Thai Emerald a visit.

Always Clean, always great food. We’ve yet to find something on the menu we don’t like. The portions are a good size and all the dishes are packed with flavour. This has become a regular for us now, would definitely recommend a visit.

I've eaten at the Thai Emerald a few years ago. The staff at friendly and polite. The food is well cooked and served piping hot. For starters I had deep fried prawns in sesame seed batter my partner had Todnmun Pla, fish cakes. For main monk fish and grilled seabass in a banana 🍌 leaf with jasmine 🍚 rice. Lovely decor as per the photos of the table, elephant and Buddha statue. Will visit again.

My friends and I came here after we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the Cheltenham Restaurant the day before! The food was soooo delicious, like YUM! We tried a couple of the starters, 4 different mains and 4 different types of rice! Everything tasted sooo good! Amazing taste, great quality food, great portion sizes! We couldn't eat it all and brought the rest home for supper! The restaurant itself was beautiful, with a stunning Koi Pond as you enter! The staff were very friendly and just great! Would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Thai food!! Is a MUST try! 😍

Delicious food. We had the Chilli Banquet. Most of the Starters were good. Apart from the fish and the vegetables, everything else was delectable.
