Upon arrival, despite the timing of closing, one still managed to appreciate the scenic environment and is considering a future visit for a more thorough exploration. There are numerous picturesque spots for photography enthusiasts and sufficient dining options available even after a long drive on the highways. The ranch known as Chokchai Farm offers an extensive array of agrotourism facilities coupled with various entertainment opportunities and food choices. Their homemade chocolate, cheese and fresh milk ice cream stands out as particularly impressive.
We had arrived just as everything was starting to close but still managed to enjoy some of the beautiful scenery around this place and will consider coming back to have a more detailed look around next time. There is alot of beautiful places to take photos here. It’s also a good place to stop after a long drive on the highways as there is places open to eat here. check out my YouTube The Travelling Social Worker

The staple place for milk and steak. They offer self guided tour, petting zoo, restaurant and souvenir shop. The staff on site were all friendly and nice. For me the highlights are the milk and ice cream. The farm itself setup for photography tour. The sheep were really cute.
Wind Napol — Google review
The place is well organized, I had a burger it’s expensive and average. The ice cream was also ok. There is lots to see, very clean , lots of parking but also the elephant I felt awful seeing it. 55 years in captivity.
David Parry — Google review
Huge farm with flower garden, zoo, cafe, museum, farm animals, cowboy show… you can drive in our car by paying 80THB per vehicle & entry fee per adult is 80THB… you will need minimum 2-3 hours in this farm… highly recommended especially if you have kids they will love this place.
Kalyan Kalpathy — Google review
Great place for family there has a lot of thing to do here ex. ride an ATV, feed a sheep, ride a miniature horse You can drive your car inside this place if need There also have a restaurant here but a bit high price Recommend to go there in the cloudy day cuz it so hot
Tanabodin Kamol — Google review
Farm Chokchai is fun and engaging especially if you have kids. We didn't do any of the tours and spent most of our time there just feeding the animals and taking pictures, which was perfectly OK for us. The farm has a 'free access' feel to it but was relatively empty with most of the stores closed when we visited. There were also quad bike and buggy rides on top of the tours and milking / feeding activities.
Jianwei Oh — Google review
The atmosphere is very good. I've been there many times and especially during the winter, the weather is very nice. The food is delicious and there are many activities to do, with my favorite activity being driving an ATV. You can also go feed the animals or take photos, with space for running around and relaxing.
tahwan — Google review
Very nice agrotourism object with many entertainment and food options. I'm especially impressed with their ice cream made of fresh milk, homemade chocolate and cheeses.
V K — Google review
I have been seeing many entertaining farm in Thailand and overseas. I think this place is the best entertaining farm in Thailand. The owner try to decorate atmospheres and manage like in an overseas. Those animals are so clean and healthy. Children are love it. It can be another edutainment as well.
Worakanok A. — Google review
Nice farm. Can feed animals, take a horse ride, ATV, and milk the cow. Many good locations for taking photos as well.
Visan S. (Khun) — Google review
We believe this place is perfect and fun for families with young kids. Perhaps not for the hot days though. It's worth a visit to show your kids some friendly farm animals. You can drive yourself into the farm and enjoy it at your own pace. Anyway our kids enjoy milking a cow. The driveway in the Chokchai farm looks vast but there are only a few things to do. We wish there were more activities or animal enclosure more.
Chat Soo (Tor) — Google review
my first time to be in Khao Yai, we picked Farm Chokchai as one of spots. It’s good for family to spend here. You can feed goats, lambs and have cowboys show. We tried strawberry and original milk, the original is more rich and tasty 👍🏻
Kayhm AY — Google review
Our children had a great time here, spent more than half a day. They have flowers, animal feeding, pony riding, mini zoo, museum... Worth to allocate a day here 👍
ZS Choo — Google review
Nice and large dairy farm. There’re 4 zones. 1st zone you can watch and play with sheep 2nd zone are flowers 3rd zone is cowboy station where you can watch cowboy show, pet show, play some games, rent ATV, try their milk and ice cream And the last zone you may see the process of making milk and ice cream. Also you can enjoy steak at their restaurants (Chokchai Steakhouse)
Vansoh Edi — Google review
This place entrance on high way, Entrance 100b You can drive your own car across farm. Nice things - 3 Tigers Turtle Sheeps Horse and cows. You can feed sheep's by buying 100b grass. Also, old planes and fighter plane, jeeps are nice too. Food - Burger, ice cream shops. But I went nearby famous Thai restaurant which have vegetarian options available.
Nick K — Google review
We and our son really enjoyed visiting the farm using the car and walking around. The admission prices with the own car are 100 baht for each adult and 50 baht for the children. All the attractions inside the farm space have to be paid separately, as well the food to feed the animals. Funny the experience to feed the ship that come all around you trying to reach the grass you are holding. I suggest to try the very nice ice cream that they make with the fresh milk produced in the farm, 52 bath for a cup of 85 g. Then if like us, after walking around, visiting the museum and the small zoo you will get hungry, do not miss the Hamburger House or the Steak House.

Visitors can enjoy the scenic views of the colorful farm while participating in various farm-related activities. Additionally, there are opportunities to interact with farm animals.
I love animals so really enjoyed it Tickets dependant on whether to buy animal feed for feeding Only concern is that the animals, though not skinny, seem very food desperate Hope they are being fed well outside of the feeding done by guests

Entertaining place with animals, atv rides, shooting, slides & many other activities for the kids

Ticket prices are 100 Baht with bucket for feeding animals. The sheep very energetic they are not afraid of human.I came here twice love to feed bunnies but this time maybe I came about long weekend all bunnies looks chill and didn’t take any attention when we try to feed them. BUT i can see they are healthy and not underweight.

390 Baht package for workshop + feeding. The cashier said it would only be an hour but that wasn't realistic. Ended up spending 3 hours here!!! Gosh. How time flies. Especially when doing art work. You get to make clay, paint a pot and bring home some cactus, make a gel candle as well as your own pizza. It was really fun and the interns here really helped me out too. As best as they could. With some being English spoken and others Chinese spoken. All basic of course. Only part that I didn't like was when one of the goats tried to jump on me!! I was so surprised. And it even bit my arm later on, - someone's gotta discipline THAT ONE for sure!! But it was fun overall and great place to bring your kids to as well! Or you can pay for each activity separately too. I bought the package, there is another that's at 600 Baht which include liquid soap making and more workshops I believe. Expect to spend 6hours here then. The location was not fully accessible. Quite far off from other tourist attractions. But worth it!
Lim YanLing — Google review
I like this place. Fun activities for children. Making candles and decorating cactus pots. Great pizza making and fun with the sheep. Very good value. A good couple of hours...
David Marshall — Google review
Not very well maintained after reopening from MCO. A lot of activities have been stopped and waiting for funding from the government.
Lip Yen Sew — Google review
Terrible place for my family with young kids. Worst feeding experience ever. Got swamped by all the animals and my young kids of 4 and 6yrs old ended up being scared by them. The environment is unhygienic, with their waste all over the place, on all the grounds and the animals themselves. Animals were too aggressive. Not recommended for young kids. Terribly disappointed. Not well run or organised at all.
James Loh — Google review
A quiet hidden place, really enjoyed it so much. No crowds, just come here and feed sheeps, rabbits and pig. Other than that u can do some activity like candle making, DIY terrarium, grow mushrooms etc. The staff there seemed lazy and dead, due to not much business. But really liked feeding the sheeps bc they come to u in packs and follow u around. However they seemed like starving. I'm guessing the owners don't feed them anything, and let tourists buy grass to feed them. The rabbits were cute, but try not to pet them they are not domestic pets so they aren't used to it. The pigs stank, and when feeding the alpha female will bite the others and fight over food.

Lovely agrotourism farm site, ideal for a family trip with children. Colorful, nice views, farm animals and many farm-related activities.

Farm
Suwan Corn Farm is a popular destination for those looking to experience rural Thai life and learn about the country's farming culture. The farm offers delicious corn milk, which is best purchased around 1pm or slightly earlier on weekends to avoid crowds. Visitors can buy the corn milk in bulk and enjoy its freshness within four days of packaging. The farm also boasts cleanliness, friendly staff, and good food with a picturesque atmosphere.
Nice farmer stall to drop by for quick snack/break. Quite a range of corn related products, like snacks, ice cream etc. Freshly boiled corn cob for sale too. Staff are really polite too. Inexpensive merchandise.
Shing Low — Google review
A point to stop by for picking fresh corn milk and various typical snack souvenirs. During festive holidays expect long queues. Cash and carry only. At the entrance, there is an ATM setup for cash withdrawal. A cafeteria is located within the facility and during festive season a farmer's market is set in the parking lot.
Tony Gonzalez — Google review
The place is quite crowded. Better to arrive around 9:30 -12:00 am. As they may be sold out. The sweet corn is very sweet and worth queuing for. The boiled one can keep in the fridge 7 days. The raw one can keep 14 days. The ice cream is also a good choice. There’s a lot of parking lot but due to lots of ppl.
moji momo — Google review
Too many people queuing to buy corn, boiled corn, cornmilk. If you are lucky, you can buy them. Because of yummy taste of them. It is natural sweet. If you don't want to wait in queue. You can buy the others product there. Parking lot is available but a lot of cars visit there, too. Good luck 😉

1) Cleanliness, Has Geal alcohol, 2) Service is normal quality, staff was friendly, Normal welcoming, attended a bit your special request if you had any. 3) Food is really good taste i very like them corn's and corn waters very good presentation. 4) Atmosphere really great nice view near a million views , is it a family place for a local shopping, good for a date, But not for business. Toilet is similar but good. 5) Price is value for money. I Would you recommend if you looking for a local shopping good taste alot of foods.

Nice place to stop briefly and break the journey. Small flower garden, a very popular shop selling their corn milk at 25bt per bottle and corn on the cob at 40bt for bag of 5. Lots of other snacks as well. Cafe is well worth a visit - good range of drinks at affordable prices and some impressive corn themed desserts (we tried the corn cheesecake which was really good). No entrance fee.
Tim Brown — Google review
Farmer's market with fresh and delicious fruits, flowers and vegetables. You can also enjoy ATV ride here.
Ekk Chawa — Google review
Famous for their corn milk... But had to wait till 1330hrs... Ended up not getting it. Crowded though. Insufficient parking. Tried their corn snack with coconut strips, also not exceptionally tasty. Wouldn't recommend to come all the way to visit if out of the way.
Ray Fang — Google review
Nice corn farm with some flowers and old tractors. Children likes the farm because our tiny country don't have such farm. It would be nice to show the kids how the corns are harvested. We came on a weekday at around 11am. Fresh corn juice already sold out and need to wait for 1 to 2hrs. So we bought the packet drinks instead. Sweet corn very nice.
Ash Ash — Google review
A must visit place if you pass by this farm to buy fruits and vegetables. Specially the corn drinks.

A good place to stop by to buy some Corn and Corn Related Products such as the famous corn milk. They have their own farm and cafe there too. Queue can gets long during afternoon time. Beautiful farm just behind the shop.
Donny Boonyamanop — Google review
If you want to buy their famous corn milk, come at around 1pm, if you come during the weekends, we suggest you come slightly earlier to queue and avoid the crowd. On weekends this place is super crowded with ppl going back from Bangkok trying to secure boxes of corn milk. The corn milk is delicious. They don't sell the corn milk before 1pm. You can buy the corn milk in bulk at 425 baht for 15bottles. They best consumed within 4 days after manufacture/packaging. The corn milk is mostly made from corn, with only additional sugar at 2% and 0.7% salt. I'm no sweet tooth and I do enjoy it! Try the boiled corn too. Very sweet, the texture is crunchy, super fresh. Seems they boiled it with a bit of salt so you can taste a bit of saltiness as well. Very yum 😋 On the weekends they have a market for veggies and fruits. Very fresh and high quality, if you are planning to do bbq in Khao Yai, can consider buying from this place rather than bringing everything from Bangkok

Visitors can enjoy popular dishes like mango sticky rice, meat skewers, chicken wings, flavored fries, instant noodle salad, and fresh-cut fruits at affordable prices. The market starts around 5pm with most stalls opening by 6pm.

One of the things you can do when exploring Pak Chong or Khao Yai area is this place. Similar to those hawkers in Bangkok, they sell not very much different products. But we do love to know that there is something to do around here. We bought mango sticky rice for the umpteenth time and we enjoyed it.
Joshua Valentino — Google review
There is a large variety of food for everyone. Ranging from bbq items, cooked food to exotic insects. You can also buy clothes, souvenirs from the stalls. There is a stall that let's children feed baby animals. The animals looked very stress as they have been overfed and constantly running around to escape from the crazy kids.

It's a small market and very local to the area. Come if you want a different experience from the major night markets in the big city.

Nice, local street food market. Great selection of food and some cute accessories. Basic Thai skills are recommended to talk to the vendors, however google translate works also very well! The market is open every single day from 5pm onwards and parking is available on the road before the night market starts.
Moritz Lindner — Google review
This is a market predominantly of food stalls. Authentic dishes and tou will never get to try everything you like, so be selective. If you want to try more best to grab a stack of dishes and share them, that's what we did by bringing ours back to the place we're we're staying along with some beers from the 7 Eleven. There really isn't anywhere to sit and enjoy anyway.

The Secret Art Garden is a delightful destination for art enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. This unique space offers art exhibitions set amidst lush greenery, creating a harmonious blend of creativity and natural beauty. Visitors can also explore handmade crafts such as painted bags and planting pots, or even participate in art classes like folk art and clay doll painting. The garden was founded by Surindr Sonthirati, a watercolor enthusiast who transformed an empty space into a captivating man-made forest filled with exquisite artwork.
A fantastic exhibition of local water color artists. It is only a couple hours drive from Bangkok. The place was very green and full of big tall trees(I love it).It feels like you are in the jungle. It seems there is always a nice refreshing breeze. There were also vendors that serve good coffee and English black tea. Very friendly people :). I have visited the place several times in the past. I also spent a few nights in the cabins available for overnight stay. This is an exhibition of beautiful art works in the forest. Highly recommend.

Art and nature walking hand in hand as a brotherhood of man. Not only the art and nature is outstanding here the food is delicious, not more than sublime. You can spent easily a whole afternoon at this heavenly place. Absolutely recommendable
marc van looy — Google review
We had coffee and dessert here. They were horribly overpriced - 90 baht for each cup of Americano coffee and 65 baht for that tiny cream cheese bun in the photo. After our coffee, we thought we'd explore the area. Turned out there is an entry charge of 100 baht per person to see the galleries. We had actually stepped into one when we were told by the staff. Now, we have no problems paying 100 baht per person. Except that we weren't impressed by the art we've seen before the staff stopped us. The style was dated, even kitschy. I'm sure many people like this style of Art. But it's not my cup of tea. So we declined to pay for entry into the galleries. The staff was NOT pleased. We were hounded even when we walked past the shops and restaurant in the area and barred from entering the garden. I was shocked. If I like something in the shop, I would have bought something. If I found the restaurant charming, I might return for a meal another day. But no, the staff were rude and aggressive. I was also surprised that we weren't allowed into the garden. Most cafes I have been to in Thailand charge an extortionate rate for their coffee and desserts in exchange for entry into its premises and garden. But not for this shop. Nevermind, it is not as if this garden is something special. The displays are as childish and kitschy as it gets. And there are so many complaints by previous reviewers on how poorly maintained the garden is. In the end, we left and went to Baan Suan Noi Hobbit Resort. For the same entry fee of 100 baht, there is sooooooo much more to see and enjoy - hobbit houses, castles, Harry Potter rooms, Game of Thrones sets etc. I am glad I didn't buy anything in the shops at Secret Art Garden. And I certainly won't be back to eat at the cafe or restaurant. Don't waste your time here. The food and beverage is over priced, the Art and garden are kitschy, and the staff rude and aggressive. We spent a lot here only to be treated like dirt.
Catherine C. — Google review
Interesting place to visit with nice artistic features. There's a restaurant there that serves pretty good food. Entrance is 100 baht for adults and free for children under 12. Can spend at least 2 hours roaming the place and taking pictures. There's also art workshop that children can participate in.

Secret Art Garden, Pak Chong: You can always trust Thailand to dish up some of the quirkiest, zaniest finds. How do you describe Secret Art Garden? It’s a large sprawling space with art exhibitions, vintage pieces, creative and fun decorative pieces, a cafe and a lot of mosquitoes. How did the creator dream up the pieces? It’s 100baht per pop and it’s a curious walk through the mad garden. #eatstylishtravelstylish

This place is truly a secret garden for art lovers. It offers not only the art galleries, but also lovely cafe and restaurant. There are a lot of big trees as if the gallery is a part of nature. There are activities for kids such as the clay pot painting as well.

Filled with fine arts and trees, this is such a great, sweet and a must-visit place for nature & art lovers. Founder of this Secret Art Garden, Surindr Sonthirati-whose passion is for watercolor, created this man-made forest from an empty hand. There're plenty halls filled with so fine watercolors. One of the halls is named Master's since it houses paintings belong to those renowned watercolor painters. Amongst soothing music, you'd feel so relaxed with the surrounding. And.. spaghetti and other dishes along with Americano are not to be missed! The place is only about an hour drive from Bangkok.

100 baht entry only for a unique, quiet and original museum with watercolor paintings & other arts! The owner and his family took over a corn farm in 1984 and changed it into this artistic natural place. Highly recommended when you visit Khao Yai!
Jerem Chocorem — Google review
Food was horrible. I have never had steak with sugar before. We were 4 people and had 4 different dishes, all of them produced with a lot of sugar which none of them should have. We came for the food, not for the garden itself so I couldn't tell about the garden. There have been a lot of promotion about the food on the Internet lately so we went for a try, but never again.

Banmai Chaynam is a vast riverside destination in Thailand that features a restaurant and a museum showcasing an array of retro collectibles. Visitors can spend several hours exploring the nostalgic items on display, including antique furniture, decorative pieces, toys, and retro equipment dating back almost a century. The restaurant is nestled within the expansive museum, offering a diverse menu with unique culinary offerings.
Amazing food. We had black pepper beef, and crab fried rice. Both delicious. Also a great atmosphere, and great service. They have a museum of collectables, very interesting to walk through. They are right on the river too so you get some great river views.

Enter the waterside house and a world of nostalgia awaits. For those of you who grew up in the 70's and 80's, this place certainly brings back loads of memories with their museum of artifacts and figurines. Not sure if they sell them but you can even play arcade games like 'hitting the beaver'! The food was pretty ok, not the best, but our focus were mainly on the decoration. They even have a swing bridge to take you across to another cafe so that you can utilise their discount voucher when you buy a drink from them.

I was mesmerized by their collections of antiques, toys, retro equipments and furniture. The collectibles must be collected from generations as some of them are almost a hundred year and some of them I never thought i would find it here. I spent the time walking, enjoying the view and collections for an hour and almost miss my lunch. The food was delicious and lovely. There is also lovely cafe inside where you can sit and chill after the meal. Will come back for the hotel.

Excellent food and a great riverside view during the day! The whole property is also a huge museum of antiquities and collectibles. Recommend coming off peak hours so the food cones quick, and somehow, better.

love this place. amused by their collection. food is ok so so. price is a bit touristy as if encouraging people to have a drink in lieu of entrance fee. which is okay. vibe 5 food 2 or 3 price 3 so a 4 rating.

This place is just… WOW. Truly a feast for the eyes and soul! 🥹🤩 This vintage museum is HUGE with loads of things to see!! There’s different sections / themes to the place and easy to get lost just wandering around exploring. It’s really nostalgic and brings back memories of simpler times in the past..❤️ there’s a restaurant, café, and hotel all in this place as well! The food and drinks in both the restaurant and café are really good too. Appreciate the effort to upkeep and even create a place like this. Decoration is super amazing and you can tell that lots of effort were put into even the smallest of details. There’s also a ping pong table outside the café if you’d like to play, and loads of comfy sofa to just sit and chill there, taking in the surroundings. This is a must go!!! 👍 What a great experience.. Thailand never fails to amaze me 🥲❤️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Banmai Chaynam, there are not only restaurant but also museum. Great food. Staffs are ok. You can enjoy eating and looking around the museum. Good place to visit.

Upon entering we had to wait to be issued a number. Doesn't feel like a warm welcome; we're guests, not a number. Food was substandard. Low quality meat, some dishes were reheated pre-prepared food. Personally I also don't like the scale; literal bus loads of people (tourists / companies) arrive to eat. Swarming with mosquitoes. The ambiance is actually really nice, next to the water, good decorating and lighting.

Beautiful museum, restaurant, cafe, hotel. 10/10. What an amazing experience! There is so much to discover. Great for taking pictures. The owners are really nice. The food is yummy! There is a suspension bridge that leads to the cafe. It’s not the sturdiest bridge in the world, but it does make you feel like Indiana Jones when crossing it.

Lovely vintage themed museum with vintage toys. Nice river view. Crispy pork with chili paste and morning glory was ok. Stir fried pork with chilli paste was decent. But the souffle egg with crabmeat and crabmeat fried rice was so good!!! Best dishes for sure. And i love the watermelon shake. 😍

The shop has a good atmosphere, The food taste good. The way to the coffee shop is quite complicated, you have to ask the staff for directions. strong flavored coffee There are a variety of signature coffee menus.

This place is amazing!!!. Extremely detailed in decoration of antique collection of toys, old housewares, interesting items. It looks like an antique shop+restaurant. Must see place in Pakchong and, of course, great tasting food.

You will need a few hours in this place to eat and explore the nostalgic things in the museum. Cross the bridge and you will enter another area with bigger nostalgic furnitures and decorative items. This place is huge, located by the river/creek. The restaurant is located deep into the museum, unless you have a guide to take you through, you will have a hard time finding the restaurant. We went there early and got a table easily. There are lots of food o the menu, some which I have not seen before. Overall the food was yummy. A must to visit in Khao Yai!

I ate at their restaurant. It was close to a creek but what stands out is the way the place is decorated. Lots of antiques, artifacts etc. Never seen anything unique like that so far.

This is a museum restaurant and is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen in Thailand. The history that is in this museum is fantastic and must have taken so long to put together , you would need a whole day just to see it all

Interesting restaurant filled with a captivating array of historical artifacts. The atmosphere was enriched with relics from the past, creating a truly unique and immersive experience. As for the food, it was simply delicious. Each dish was a culinary delight that left my taste buds satisfied. This restaurant seamlessly blended history and gastronomy, making it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a blend of culture and delectable cuisine.

A good museum like display of vintage collectibles and scrumptious affordable food offered by the restaurant decorated with KFC and swensen themes by a small river. However, the location is a bit out the way through alleys and fortunately we had hired driver to get us there.

A must visit when in Khao Yai. Nice environment to lunch beside the river, food was good and the toys museum was interesting. I particularly liked the beef soup which cost 380 baht, beef balls and brisket and meat, the pad Thai and fried rice were alright.

Ban Mai Chay Nam, Pak Chong Nakhon Ratchasima: Madness. Total utter madness. Vintage museum, cafe, restaurant and even a hotel all rolled into one sprawling complex overlooking the gentle creek. We were here for the restaurant and had a sensory overload. Antiques, forgotten artifacts, vintage collectibles and all things curious cram here. It’s quite a laugh and local tourists flock here. Food is voted one of the best in Nakhon Ratchasima. Fried fish disappointedly didn’t come served whole but it was definitely fried perfect. Claypot shrimp vermicelli is always our favourite. Be sure to bring along repellent as we were totally devoured come sunset. #eatstylishtravelstylish

The Honey Pork Rips were so soft and nice, overall it was 10/10 score. Diary Home’s ice creams are also very good especially the Banana Cheese, one of my favourite! Must try! 🥰

The food is average and it is a hit and miss. The food taste more like microwaved food as it came within minutes of our order. The ice cream is creamy but the flavours don’t seemed natural. This is the newer and bigger restaurant compared to the old location which is another 200 meters down the road. This place is nothing much to shout about.

The one star is for the pork knuckle. The steak doesn’t taste good at all. I have no idea how do people say this place have the best steak. It’s beyond me. The pasta is super sweet. Reminds me of Philippines style pasta.
Jey Yeo — Google review
Food mostly are steak, big portion of dishes for steak. There are vegetarian menus available. The must try is homemade ice-cream; 1 scoop 60 THB, 2 scoops 80 THB, both can bring back the container. Also, several things sell infront of the shop. The toilets are clean. Many parking spaces.
Jittphinun D — Google review
Excellent quality of milk and ice cream. The ice cream cups are cute. However, the restaurant food is average and pricey. From Bangkok-Pakchong road taking the U-turn is a pain in the tooth.

A nice place to visit during trip for stretching and bio break. Restroom is clean. You can buy ice-cream, diary products such as milk and yogurt. Coconut jelly yogurt is my favorite. Lunch and dinner are also available but pricy and taste just ok. I usually drop by to buy snacks and take a short break but not here for lunch.

Yummy ice cream, but main dishes were pretty pricey and not very nice. Perhaps it was the dish we ordered (organic tomato fried rice with sambal prawns). But the ice cream was great and came in a cute ceramic cup which you could bring home!

Midwinter Khaoyai is a unique and picturesque dining destination located in Khao Yai. The restaurant is housed in a stunning Scandinavian-style castle with outdoor seating, offering a blend of Thai and Western menus along with delectable smoked meats. Visitors can enjoy the photogenic ambiance both inside and outside the castle, making it an ideal spot for daytime pictures and evening relaxation.
This is the second time that we dine at this place. The atmosphere is very nice and they usually decorate the place very well. (Visited this place before Christmas last year, very nice decorations) This year is the Halloween theme, spiders and skulls are everywhere. The food is quite fair, yet a bit pricey. The service is up to standards; however, some staffs look a bit tired, not sure if they've been through lots from the holiday or not. But overall is fine.
Nadda S. — Google review
Great food, nice vibe and they have a lot of outdoor seating which is important during this covid time. Food was great and we can tell that they used good quality ingredients in their cooking. I can imagine the vibe here will be really nice around sunset or nighttime when there is life music playing. We didnt get to experience that as we came around lunch time.

Overall the experience here is good for first timers. Service is good, environment is beautiful but food are a hit or miss and it is very pricey (check each photo for what we liked and didn’t, there is 7% vat too). When we choose to come, we didn’t know there was a light show and suddenly the light turned off at 6:45pm we thought there was electricity outage but it turns out to be the light show on the building so I suggest you take an outdoor seating. Also recommended time is to arrive half hour before sunset so you can take photos of the place before dinner, then dine in and take photos of the place after dinner too. There is also live band but I am not sure if you could request for songs, no one informed us of that. Toilets are beautiful and clean too 😄

This is one of the must visit places in Khao Yai. Unique architecture. Photogenic both inside and outside. This is our second time here. Last time we came for lunch, but dinner is a whole new experience. It’s best to reserve a table at 5:30 pm. Come take some daytime pictures. Enjoy the outdoor seating. Relax over a cocktail or beer. There’s live band after dark. Don’t miss the light show at around 7:20 pm. I highly recommend the smoked pork knuckles. One of the best I ever had!

Very cool resteraunt!! Has outdoor and indoor sitting. Outdoor has a light show projected at the building in the evening, and an acoustic guitar show with Lady singer which was very nice. I had a few vegetarian dishes and they were nice. The corn cream soup was the best. Atmosphere is the best 👌

The place and everything in it is so elegant and posh, even the rest room is exclusive. The price is super high but i guess it's normal with a place like this. The place is huge and the service is good. The food is served both Thai and international cuisine, I ordered pasta and tbh it's pretty simple & small portion (a bit disappointed) 🤷

Very nice place with live band, beautiful view, good food and cool weather. The prices were a bit high for local standards but the environment totally made up for it. And the food taste good with the live band playing both English and Thai music. Reservations in advance highly recommended.

VERY overpriced, about x4 from normal price. Food is just ok, nothing special. So, 2 stars for environment only. Wine menu is good, but… NO wine by glass! Thus minus one star. Dissatisfied in general.
Pavel Markin — Google review
The food is not worth visiting for. They put “chefs recommendation” for the Angel hair pasta with ebiko cream sauce but it was only pasta with the fish egg… not worth it really.. Go only for drinks and vibes. The night looks like a scene taken out of The Great Gatsby though. The purple flower fields were a pleasant sight. Also, there only seems to be 1 toilet cubicle in the whole place?

We waited an hour to get into this restaurant, not knowing it was Michelin-starred. But their pork dishes are a must-try – absolutely delicious! The ambiance added to the overall experience. A hidden treasure for sure!

I have not been to this restaurant for the past 6 years due to its distance and Covid. It is still a great restaurant as it has been. The price is still on the expensive side. Given the Michelin Guide, I expect a bit more. During the dining, there were flies in the restaurant that bothered us. Other than that the foods here are delicious. Salads are great! Smoked dishes are very delicious. Maybe one dish that I ordered, the shrimps were not fresh.

Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in Khao Yai (perhaps even Thailand) on my trip. Our party of 7 had the duck confit, steak, pastas (mentaiko and aglio) and 2 fish dishes to share. All of which were spectacular bar the pastas - they were decent but would not reorder. Flavours were balanced, steaks were tender and well seasoned, the mash (paired with the duck) was so good we even had to order 2 additional servings. My only regrets are not visiting earlier in the day to tour the grounds, checking out the farmers market area, and ordering their smoked specialties.

Midwinter is a must visit restaurant in Khaoyai. Food and service were up to general standard. The restaurant is surrounded by hills.. so the general vibe is quite chill. Dont miss out on the cartoon projector show and live music on Saturday evening. Highly recommend this place.

Midwinter Khaoyai is a nice dining spot with good atmosphere, open seating and friendly staff. The price range are as per location. Good live music and 3D cinema on the wall which is quite nice. Overall a good spot when staying around khaoyai.

Had a fantastic experience here. Fortunately it did not rain. Came in at about 1730hrs, and still had sufficient outdoor seats. Service was very good, staff was very attentive. We already came prepared that the main draw is the ambience... And the food was within expectations. We liked the smoked pork neck, corn soup and midwinter pizza. The bummer came when they said that ALL their red wines were out of stock. Huh? Really? For a steak house? However, we still had a good time with their live band, great service, good food and fringe activities for the kids. I hope they will have sufficient reds if we return the next time.

The restaurant's atmosphere surpassed its food and service. We arrived on Christmas Eve at approximately 7:30 pm, waited less than 30 minutes, and ordered tea, two cocktails, pizza, sesame leaf salad, fish and chips, and brownie with vanilla ice cream. The food arrived promptly but in a peculiar sequence, with dessert served immediately after the salad and fish and chips. While the salad and fish and chips were passable, the pizza was a major letdown. It was noticeably undercooked and had the taste of store-bought frozen pizza, leaving a disappointing final impression. After the meal, we explored a nearby farm and market, which added to the overall experience and ambiance.

The food is fine, big portion, and many options to choose, there is photo of dish in menu. Staff is very well servicing. I came on Monday, not so busy.

This is also one of the places on the maps that pops out when we were trying to decide what's for dinner. On the front of the restaurant they proudly put michelin 2024 awardee signage. But that's not the reason we went here. It's just many good reviews is all. So we ordered ham pork chop and one pasta Eboki. We were satisfied with the products and the service they gave. The place is very big. It can hold so many people, and the parking lot is also big. They have a stage back of the restaurant that holds lighting show at 7 and live band. Overall, we are satiafied!

It was a fabulous experience for our family of four! Pork knuckle had super crispy skin with soft & tender flesh. Kiddos loved enjoyed the simple ebiko pasta. Banana crepe dessert had more than enough ice cream; more banana slices will be superb. Cherry on top was the light show; so unique and interesting. Loved the visit! Even the restroom was really clean.

Midwinter restaurants offers both western and Thai food. Western food was pretty tasty. Pork ribs was cooked just right, it wasn’t tough at all. My favourite was the beef carpaccio. Thai food was alright, but nothing stood out; I suppose if you really crave for Thai food, this would suffice. Otherwise, I recommend western dishes.

Additionally, they offer live music on weekends and maintain exceptionally clean restrooms.
Amazing place to eat in Khao Yai! Lovely food and a fantastic range of beers from all over the world. I also tried the cocktails which were tasty and very theatrical when being served! The owner is knowledgeable and can guide you through the hundreds of beers on offer. They also have a band that plays and very clean toilets. We went back every single night we loved out so much. We will be back again the next time we are back in Khao Yai.

One of the best thing about going for holiday is to discover a nice place to chill and eat to your heart's content - never would have I thought to find a craft beer place in Khao Yai that also serves both local Thai + western food. Best of all, they also have live band performing although I didn't understand anything that they sang. ◾A bottle of chilled Singha beer is a perfect way to start the evening. Nothing is more appropriate than drinking a glass of cold beer after a long and tiring day. ◾What I love about this place is their selection of craft beers! I never thought to find a craft beer place in Khao Yai so imagine my surprise to see one. ◾If beer is not your choice, they do have a small corner stocked with limited wines. ◾we ordered mixture of foods - cheese baked lobster spaghetti, marinara spaghetti, smoked duck breast, pork ribs, and even local Thai food such as tomyam fried rice, and deep fried fish.
