Beautiful beach! Clear water, nice sand. If you go a little bit further from the wntrancentrance you will find rocky part of the beach. Perfect for snorkeling and watching underwater life. Nearby you will find convenient parking lot.

For those who love a tourist free zone, Cala cipolla is perfect. Quite and surrounded by nature its by far the best “Wild beach” of Chia

A nice little bay, crystal clear water, sandy beach and there are some shady places as well. It is worth climbing the hills surrounding the bay because there is a wonderful view of the sea.

Wonderful beach. There is a parking nearby. They charge 5€/day and you must get a come-back ticket if you want to leave the parking for a short while. From the parking you have to go up a small hill, like 5 minutes walk and you are on the beach. There are sun umbrellas and sun benches to rent. You get the umbrella for 12€ (the staff puts the umbrella for you and you don't have to bring it back by yourself, the staff will). For 26€ you get an umbrella and two sun benches. Also, you can buy there ice cream, coffee and drinks.

Really nice beach. Really accesable so by this time really crowded. Beach is clean, water warm. There are is also some shop with refreshments. Honestly one is enough.

Excellent beach. Everyone pays and hustles to find space for a towel at Tuerredda but this one has clear water and a more relaxing atmosphere just 10mins away. Luna Market is where most park for free and walk 8mins down to the beach. The market has cold drinks and a great butcher section along with other nick nacks.

Fine beach

Lovely long sandy beach. Water is very shallow for quite far out so great for young kids. Decent sized car park and was free (out of season, April).

The parking next to Luna supermarket is free. From there you need to walk around 10 minutes to the beach. The beach is nice, not too crowded and there were nice waves to play in. It was quite windy and many umbrellas were praying for their lives.

Awesome golden fine sand descends slowly into the blue sea. Great for families, the water temperature feels higher than on other steeper beaches. Parking costs 8€ per day you can only book full days. Cheaper prices if you arrive after 16:00/4 pm

The best part of my entire trip to the south of Italy!!! What a beauty this beach is!!!! The water is SPECTACULAR!!!! Lovely and calm too! The beach has beautiful, soft sand. Here is some practical info 1. Getting there - there are several busses from the central bus depot that go every hour. Remember there are buses only every hour so if you miss it, you have to wait long time! The ticket is about 3.50 euro from Cagliari. Bus timings are available on the movit app. Or google maps 2. If you want to drive there isnis possible to rent a car or a taxi. There is a large parking area 3. There is no food on the beach. Only drinks. You can carry your own food or eat just a little before the beach where there is a lovely little restaurant. 4. There are toilets and changing rooms in the parking lot which are very clean. Even the drink kiosks have toilets and changing rooms which are super nice. 5. To return, the buses stop quite early in the evening so pls check the timings. Alternatively you can book a taxi from Cagliari to take you back I really liked this chilled out beach. It was touristy but not in a loud or expensive way. There was a relaxed homely vibe to it which i loves It’s great for kids too as there is plenty of space and it’s very safe. There are small places for children to play too If you are a big group there are nets for volleyball You can rent beach umbrellas here and beds. I don’t know what they cost because I didn’t use them!! Don’t have second thoughts! Go to this beach!

Breath taking is the best way to describe it. Was empty when we visited. Never seen an empty beach this pretty before

Our favorite beach. By far. This is for those who like a bit more space. Is this one of Europe’s top 10? Great view. Splendid sand, also all the way long into the water. Most people come here by car. Parking is organized. Wheelchair friendly. Only 2 small kiosks with beds and umbrellas.

Beautifull sandy beach. Clear water. It is possibility to claim on the hill and look at the beach from the the top. The parking near the beach cost 8 euro per day. There is toilets (cost 0.5 euro)

In fact there are 3 beaches here, separated by a small promontory, which creates the Chia beach region. Though popular with locals and tourists alike, these white sand, crystal clear waters beaches are a jewel in the area. It is common for the locals to spend all day here, especially on Sundays. They usually bring their meal, but you don't need to as the beaches are well equipped with facilities like bars, food outlets at very reasonable prices (I've seen Panini with chicken cutlet for €6 and beer for €3), and hot showers for 50 cents. I paid €5 for all day parking, which is a good price and also a short walk from the beach. Fantastic beach with beautiful sand and a nice boardwalk leading down to the beach. There is a small snack shack with small bites and drinks. Great place for kids!

Beautiful beach but the problem is that there is no place available to throw away rubbish. The owner of this kiosk only allows rubbish to be placed in the bin that was purchased at the kiosk. Imagine if this happens all over the world!

Absolutely amazing beach with smooth sand, beach bar and a life guard. When I visited this place it was after a big storm so the sea was kinda wavy. In spite of this I enjoyed it! You can park your car very close to the beach but the price is relatively high - costs 8€.

Lovely and towards the ”fancy” edge. The restaurant offer a variety of food, we ordered parmegiano pizza with eggplant, pasta all arabiata, pizza bianca and seadas with honey. Everything was tasty except for the seadas which me and my wife didnt like so much. We were very full after since the portions are very big and generous. Taste 4/5 Price 3/5 Envoirment 4/5

I am a bit conflicted - the food was always great but sometimes the wait was excessive and it was hard to get waiters’ attention. Overall, the quality of food overweighed service mishaps and we had lunch and dinner there four or five times during our stay. Tuna tartar (especially the royale version) was great. Pasta scoglio was superb. The baked fish (we had both branzino and orata and added tomatoes and capers) were absolutely superb. Their pizza was good too (only served in the evening). The atmosphere is great; the place is always packed. Make reservations and enjoy your food while in the area :)

Excelent seafood risotto, insalata di polpo, marinated sardines. We boked at 9.30 PM and we got the table at 10 PM. 😬Other 50 people were waiting. I think there are other choices for similar quality or price.

So good ate there twice during our 3 night stay in Chia, Sardinia. First time there service was not as great. But I blame that on the server. Forgot to put in one of our dishes so we waited forever for our meal. By the time we got it we weren’t hungry anymore. Second visit there, amazing. Server was on top of it. Did a fantastic job. Major Tip: Not just at this restaurant but in general at Sardinia, I’ve learned it’s always best to put your complete order in at the beginning. Trust me you’ll be happier this way. Fried Calamari: the best I’ve had in Italy Royal Tuna Tartare: Must have but make sure you order the Royal tuna tartare. Much better than the regular one. Lobster Spaghetti: Mamamia! Soo good Saffron Fish with potatoes: Delicious with so much flavor. Never had fish with saffron before.

Food was great. Took the sea food pasta even though there could have been a bit more sea food, but still the taste was really good. The Amatriciana pizza was very tasty as well !

It’s a shame because this restaurant SHOULD be a five star. They’ve got such an amazing food selection and everything was incredibly tasty. However, there’s not nearly enough parking to support their customers, wait staff is super inattentive (even with three of us consistently trying to catch the eye of a server for over five minutes, we eventually had to just get up and go ask for help ourselves), and in the end you have to go stand in a line of ten to fifteen people for the establishment’s ONLY cash register/credit card terminal. This also happens to be directly in a high traffic area for the servers and bussers. So much potential!!!

Wow, so full! And dog friendly too! Great seafood and pizza place. The seafood tower was more than enough for 3 as a starter, probably perfect for 4. Added a pizza and pasta dish, and we were overwhelmed with delicious food. Friendly and (mostly) attentive service. Sometimes hard to find a waiter. Great atmosphere and full indoor/outdoor dining room all night long. Payment needs some work - if you want to pay by card (everybody) there is one lady with one credit card machine in the back with a line going through the restaurant. Huh??

Went for a dinner. Reservation beforehand was required (in September). Food absolutely delicious. Staff very friendly. Wine list comprehensive (that is if you like Sardinian wine). Menu is mostly fish/seafood and meat. If you are vegetarian or vegan, you will have a tough time. Card payments are accepted.

Beautiful beachy lunch of fresh fish! They had great service and a delicious menu. We were here on a Saturday afternoon and they also had live music. It was soft enough to still have a conversation but really added to the ambiance.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. While visiting the area, we had dinner here twice and it was delicious and fresh both times. They had clear markings for gluten and were very knowledgeable about what I could and couldn’t have. Big shout out to Vito for being so upbeat and helpful and making me feel safe eating there.

Very nice place to have a lunch or dinner on the way to/from Chia beach. The food was very good - boys loved the steaks and I loved fregola con vongole, very homey. The service was quick and kind. Nice garden.

Me and my girlfriend found this great restaurant on the way to Chia beach. Really good and delicious sea food with very friendly staff and ambient, which I would also recommend for weddings.

Lovely location. Attentive, fast and polite staff. The menu is a little limited (sad they stopped offering pizza in 2022) but good for quality. I love the atmosphere and live music. The kids love the open space, playground and water tanks to see the fish.

Dishes are full of taste and character, menu is inclusive for all tastes. Sea food pasta must have. Fried Calamari is the best I’ve had in Italy! Many many thanks.

Staff is nice and polite. Marco was funny and helpful. Kitchen is probably short staffed hence the long wait for meals. Food is average. Wife had the lobster spaghetti. Lobster was good but spaghetti had a fishy taste to it. Gnocchi Sardine was good. Can’t go wrong with that. Dessert was tasty. Music was great! 2 person band literally playing all the great hits. Props to them. There was a mosquito or insect problem. Wife says they were mosquitoes. Anyhow didn’t make the experience pleasant but we made the best of it. Overall average place but has huge potential.

Very well prepared and set up to take care of guests! Staff speaks multiple languages and is very family-friendly! They brought toys for our daughter, and the food portions for the price were good for the nice atmosphere. This is more of a seafood restaurant, but the servers will help prepare the delicious fish if you ask. Great seafood experience.

The hospitality and service were very good however the food could've been better. Definitely recoment the main course dishes, but vegetables are just plain, unsalted and unseasoned (you can order fresh vegetables and some smoked, but both were plain and not the best). However as I said, main course was quite good. I ordered a special dish, was very nice, first time eating a lobster :))

Very unpleasant experience, we waited 2 hours from the moment our order was taken until it arrived. The worst frito misto I have ever eaten. Pasta was not very good, and the prices were the highest in the area. Confused waiters... to be avoided

This hidden trattoria, outside the tourist places, reserves few surprises, here you will always find the usual stuff of fish cooked in the same way, for many years, with the same incredible quality and simplicity. Book well in advance if you want to come, you will find nothing more than fresh fish, simple and traditional cuisine, not too expensive prices. In short, come once to come back every year.

Amazing experience. Enjoyable food. Great service. This is a spot where everything you eat is fresh. The ingredients are fresh. We loved our fish cooked with safron. Something that I have never tried before and I will remember. Highly recommended.

Meglio evitare se non sei Italiano. Scortesi. Avoid if you are not Italian. We spoke to them in Italian and English on numerous nights - but it didn’t matter. If they know you are a foreigner it will be fully booked on every night of the week even if the restaurant is empty. There are so many brilliant restaurant in the area don’t waste your time with this one.

BEWARE - It is a con. We went based on a good rating. This was by far the worst restaurant on our trip here. We ordered two plates of shrimp at €18 per plate. On plate of 10 medium shrimp came, €3.60 per shrimp. They were over cooked and not great quality. We also had the Sea Bass which were small and thin and we questioned whether it was Sea Bass. This was the most disappointing dish. It was not fresh and tasted bad as though not properly cleaned. The Sea Bass at our hotel was amazing and we looked forward to having it again but couldn’t have been more disappointed. There was absolutely nothing served with any of the dishes, literally nothing. We ordered a side green salad and it was Iceberg lettuce chopped up, nothing else. We asked to change it for the mixed salad and they brought the same salad back with one tomato chopped up and some red cabbage. We didn’t touch it and said we didn’t want it but they charged us for both salads anyway. We paid and realised later. I don’t know how they have gotten such good reviews. It makes me wonder whether tourists are treated differently.

The sea food has that freshness hard to find anywhere else. You simply know without telling that the tuna or octopus are so fresh and tastefully cooked to make you enjoy every bite. Don't think that you'll be dissapointed with the beef. It is accompanied by the best suitable salad leaves making the dish just as desirable. Strongly recommend this trattoria!

I read another review about how they (do not...) treat foreigners but couldn't believe this could be the case. We only wasted our time driving from the beach to the restaurant after a recommendation by a local. We were not told however that at Da Angelo they are rude and indeed they do not like tourists. We walked in to the very quiet restaurant which was more than half empty and we were told that it was impossible to get a table tonight. It all seemed a bit weird as we understand Italian waiters are not the most courteous but this seemed just an inexplicable lie into our faces. It was 8.20pm and it seemed extremely unlikely that this place would get full later. Obviously they have enough business even if they are sending tourists away.

Best food we had during our holidays. Great service. The mixed fish selection as a starter was awesome. Would also recommend the lemon sorbet.

In other places I would have rated lower but in this area you don’t have many choices. So the staff where helpful. Menu typical Sardinian. They have a pizza oven which is great. Interior out of date. Inside but open walls. Parking in street. WC. Wheelchair friendly. Fairly priced menu.

It was actually great. Although there was a language barrier there was no problem with anything. Service was nice, place is nice and I believe I will return :)

This restaurant is a total recommendation for everyone staying in Chia who loves delicious food, especially well prepared seafood. We had a perfect evening with awesome food, drinks and the service is more than friendly. And if it’s of importance, the value for price ratio is also very good. Five stars well deserved!

Great restaurant - substantially under-rated. Excellent Gambas as well as fresh fish and a most refreshing Vino de La Casa Bianco. Menu is both provided in English and Italian - great prices as well. Will go there again tomorrow!

We had a wonderful lunch with some Spanish friends. The lobster was great, as well as the pasta and we also had great deserts. The place is very friendly and is a family business. The owners take good care of everything and all food is fresh and wonderfully cooked! Place is wonderfully unpretentious with great food and lovely service.
