This is a very interesting market to visit. Most of the stalls are managed by women. You can buy many local stuffs here from daily necessities, clothes, food, fruits etc. Interestingly, some of the things here are quite cheap. It's a one of the must-see places when in Kota Bharu

Really great local market and tourist friendly too. Anything from wet groceries to clothes and even exotic food can be found here. Got local traditional goods sold here. You can haggle for lower price.

Interesting place but in terms of cleanliness is not satisfactory. I first went to Pasar Siti Khadijah Kota Bharu. In my opinion this place is not suitable for tourists. Only suitable for buying daily wet goods. I hope the State Council can upgrade this market to attract foreign tourists.

Siti Khadijah Market is a wonderful market which provides a variety of traditional local foods, beautiful of 'songket' and clothes, and fresh raw foods. I really enjoyed this place and recommended for you to visit.

Old Market & not for wheelchair users. The parking lot is quite hard to get. Ground floor is for wet market, fruits & goldsmiths kiosk. 1st floor for goodies & 2nd floor for clothes. Overall I am quite happy with my shopping experience here..

Attention to all tourist! Market only open from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm. Only have few premises selling local items. Please negotiate before buy anything here. Old building, the management did not maintained the maintenance.. sadly to see now. Try to avoid friday, mostly shop closed on public holiday.

One of the last few places we visited in Kelantan was the Pasar Siti Khadijah Market. We always say that the food selections available in the market always reflect the destination’s culture and way of living. True enough, after visiting Pasar Siti Khadijah Market, I can attest that the food and culinary offerings of this place clearly tells us that the culture and traditions of Kelantan are very much colorful and interesting.

A very beautiful combined wet and dry market with all other kinds of retails like the sarongs, shoes, home accesories, toys and etc. It is easily one of the biggest and organized market in Malaysia, where u can get almost everything for your normal household usage. Some of the items are really nostalgia, reminiscent of your childhood time. The design of the market is colourful and airy to make you have a better grocery and household shopping experience!

This market is a must-visit for first-timers in Kelantan, almost serving as an iconic location. Whether you're interested in shopping or photography, it offers a unique experience. While the market is old and hygiene standards may not be high, the sellers are extremely friendly. We couldn't resist purchasing some keropok ikan and a pack of Thai fragrant rice 😆 to take home. In terms of pricing, we attempted to negotiate, but most stalls had fixed prices. Unlike other wet markets I've visited in different countries, there was no starting with a high price for bargaining purposes.

Building is too old, crying urgently for an upgrade! Not stroller friendly, need to carry from a level to another. Didn’t notice any elevator. So I gave up Not forgotten the stench🤮🤢, and the heat🥵🔥but the foods & goods are cheap & authentically kelantan. Too bad the environment do not serve a comfortable ambiance for tourists to shop👎

As the daughter of a Kelantanese man, it is utterly sad to see how unkempt, dirty, half-empty, and dark this market has become. I brought my non-Malaysian husband here, and I felt ashamed to show him this, but he insisted on coming to see the market that has been named after the first wife of Rasulullah SAW. Even Siti Khadijah RA would be embarrassed to have this market named after her. Please, local government, do something. Stop bringing bad vibes to the religion.

If you're in town, you should come over for shopping. Good bargain for good quality stuff - anything u want us here. You just have to look for it. And dont miss the food section where you can enjoy delicious dishes. Mee celup, laksa, laksam. You name it.

Last time was viral. Now, I came just to see the unique of the building but turned out it was old and not established well. Can't say more but they selling variety of Thai's products and every each stores selling the same one but different price. So be aware.

Embarking on a weekend journey to Kota Bharu with my wife and friends, we eagerly delved into the local experience at Siti Khadijah Market—a top-rated destination for authentic products. Nestled in the city center, the market's vastness was immediately apparent, surrounded by ample free parking. Despite parking a bit farther due to the morning rush, the journey proved worthwhile. The market's diversity impressed us, featuring sections dedicated to fruits, vegetables, hawker stalls, desserts, traditional clothes including batik and fabrics, a wet market, herbs and spices, as well as cafes and restaurants. Our exploration stretched for a delightful half-day, during which my wife's enthusiasm for shopping was commendable—I had to intervene to prevent an entire day spent in retail therapy! 😆 After our extensive tour, we opted for a brunch featuring Kelantan's renowned dish, laksam. Recommendations led us to Cek Yoh Cafe on the first floor, where we relished a generously portioned bowl. The laksam's flavors were delightful, especially the rich soup and well-prepared vegetables. While transactions leaned towards cash, with some offering interbank transfers, e-wallet usage was relatively low. The market, in general, appeared somewhat humid and less pristine, possibly deterring international tourists. However, as locals, we found the atmosphere acceptable. Enhancements in cleanliness and ambience could undoubtedly elevate its appeal, making it more welcoming to tourists from around the globe in the future.

Interesting......the food area some folks may seem slightly assertive to come and eat.at their stall but actually they are very nice. Prices too change. If you merely asking prices are high once you say ues i want to eat prices go down. Cleanliness has dramatically improved from the last time i was here precovid.

One of must visit. You can easily find fresh vegetables & fruits with cheaper price. The wet market is on another section. The food section selling different kind of kuih with a very cheap price you cant find anywhere else. Not to mention the hawkers were all friendly and kind

One of the tourist attractions site at the heart of Kota Bharu. It was actual royal palace and converted to the museum, and is good to get knowledge about Kelantanese royal culture, exhibiting on the clothing, weddings, and other royalty ceremonies. The entrance fee also is cheap for RM2 per person. You can buy merchandise at nearby.

Wonderful place to visit in Kota Bahru if you have the time. It's a small Istana for the Kelantanese Royalty, built in 1887 under local architecture. Originally built for the Baginda Long Kundor, the Regent who succeeded to be the Sultan. Beautiful Malay carvings throughout with cast iron circular staircase and a magnificent anjung. Now housed a museum of Adat (culture) of the Royal family with well made descriptions. 2 ringgit entrance fee. Also houses a separate weapons gallery behind the main building. You can also see a Royal Boat, a gift from King Chulalongkorn to the Kelantan Sultan on his visit.

This placed stored precious royal item of Kelantan. The building itself has used be palace for one of Kelantan royal member.It has iconic value has never changed since years ago. You can sit at royal balcony and imagine that you sitting at same place in good old day while watching British and Japanese envasion.

A must visit place when you are in Kota Bharu. Espceially if you love old palaces and you love architecture and the wood carving art. They have many regalia and display but labels are not really well written. They should've have put more information or give pamphlets for tourist to learn more.

See brief history of Kelantan royalty at this museum. Artifacts on display include royal dresses, ceremonies, weapons etc. A decent sized museum, you may see all in less than 2 hours max.

It used to be a royal palace, then became a ceremonial palace. And that's what the exhibition inside is all about. Entry is RM2 for adults and RM 1 for children. Foreigners pay double price. Nice to see inside the architecture. But unsure whether the different rooms originally existed or are just built up to showcase the different ceremonies. It's rather hot in the museum with only a few fans. Wonder how they can preserve their exhibits under such conditions. The english explanations are in red on yellow background, which is more difficult to read. Moreover they are lowly placed so one has to bend over all the time. There is not much to see in Kota Bharu and so this place is one of the wortwhile visits.

It's a pleasant museum but it didn't excite me. It's quaint but there is not so much to see as it's quite small.

Was here in May 2023. This museum showcases the life of the royal family in Kelantan. The complaints I have are the lack of ventilation (it was the heatwave period) and maintenance (some exhibits are dusty). It is also nearby of of the city's attraction.

They only charge RM2 per person. No air condition. The regalia and all the things that they put in display are not arranged properly. Many of them are some old stuff presented to the Kings and Queens as royal gift. They were also not enough information and stories about the things on display.

The Royal Museum (Muzium Diraja Istana Batu) It was built in 1939 under the reign of Sultan Ismail I of Kelantan (1920-1944), as a wedding gift for his nephew Yahya Petra (1960-1979) whom was the eventual successor of Kelantan. It has a pale yellow structure and served as the palace for crown's prince. It was then donated to the state and now it's open to public for viewing. The richly furnished rooms will give you a glimpse into the past royal life.

Very informative place for tourists. Great place to study & learn of Kelantan history & local culture. However, it's not easy to look for a parking nearby. We can also know the linkage between Kelantan and Thailand as these two places are near.

For a museum that is supposedly representing the state I can say that I am a bit disappointed. A small upper ground hall holds the exhibition on the many traditional performances that makes Kelantan world-class. But I've seen better presentation in several institutional museum in the country. Only the diorama on Gua Cha exhibiting the history of the state which can be traced as far as the Hoabinhian culture. Yes the museum is small and several features of the states are displayed at the nearby museums but there is so much that can be done inside. And Kelantan is a state rich in history, nature, tradition.

The museum is in a dilapidated state. There's some hard wood cravings that worth preserving. Orang Asal section is a joke. I hope the state government can improve the Museum.

Entrance fee for adult rm8, for children rm4 and when I was here they have something called exotic animals around so worth it to bring your kids during this school holidays.

The actual museum is really good. Before this we went for this special event with penguins and it was a bad impression. But the 3 decades of Kelantan was really informative for people who don't follow Kelantan progress alot. So it was a good catch up session too. Tuan Guru Dato' Nik Aziz seems to be the pillar of what Kelantan is and it's impressive. Also during this period it is free.

A lot room for improvement.. got a tonne of potential to upgrade.. need new kind of touch and advertise more to ensure public aware and love our local muzium.. such a waste if support from public is not to be hear of..

A small municipal museum. The collections are rather contemporary. Some exhibitions are lack of explanations. Anyway, I like those wayang kulit they are showing. I just hope that they can provide a video on the wayang kulit. Entrance fee rm2.

One of my favourite childhood restaurants at Jalan Temenggong, Kota Bharu. I came back to this restaurant the last few days after my last visit for more than a decade. To my disappointment, the restaurant service is very bad. I was sitting for quite a while and nobody come to serve. I go to look for someone to place an order but see just an uncle busy going around without service my table consisting of 4 persons. Looking at the situation, we understand the situation and continue to wait with patience. After a while, still, no one come to take the order, After a few minutes, I overheard customers at another table saying the chicken chops still haven't come after a long wait. The customer walked to the counter and reminds the operator that he had waited for almost 45mins and had only been told now that the food he ordered was not available. We realized we may have the same fate, and since we have a flight to catch, we just walk out and look for an alternative place for a meal. Am surprised as this restaurant which is also getting a good rating on TripAdvisor provided such a bad service. However, having said that I wouldn’t pass judgment just yet on how good or bad this restaurant is. Seeing the restaurant operated by 1 person (which could be the owner himself), my hunch told me that the owner may face a staffing issue, or probably his staff is on leave, or something. I will probably pay another visit when I am in Kota Bharu (and likely be the final time if the condition is still the same)

Located at the end of the street in a typical chinese shop. Service was simply excellent by an elderly guy. Ordered Chinese & Kampong Fried Rice, Mee Goreng, Kway Teow Goreng and Bihun Hailam with ABC and Ice Tea. It's Halal. Highly recommended 👍 👌

Growing up eating at the place, we’re looking forward for every Friday night to have the tomato chicken chop. That was 30 years ago where Suntwo are the only chicken chop in town and not many establishment provides decent indoor spaces for family gathering. But as I grow up, tried many awesome foods both kelantan, KL, other states, I came to realise the restaurant are not that tasty. It’s generally 60% hype and nostalgia, 30% friendly owner, 10% location. Will I ever come again? yes. Once a month? No. Maybe 2 years once If im hungry and Im staying nearby with no car to move around. Chicken chop sauce was overwhelmed by Sunkist orange syrup, tomyam are just to put it simply…edible.

Great and affordable place to hav dinner. Nyonya fish is great tks to e sauce. Mango chicken is another show stealer, really wets ur appetite. Salted fish bean sprouts is different fr wat I'm used to, wet vs dry, also can't really taste e salted fish. Claypot toufu is just normal. Belacan chilli fried rice not bad but coupled w what I've ordered abv, esp e nynoya fish sauce totally overpowered e light tasting fried rice. U would b better off w plain white rice. Overall a pleasant and good tasting dining experience. 👍😋😍

A long serving restaurant in Kota Bharu. It has a mix of Malay, Chinese and Thai fusion dishes. All halal. I'd say the food is quite average with the exception being the Nyonya style steamed fish which was delicious.

Good service. The old waiter name Uncle Joe is very friendly, helpful and can converse in English well. Cosy place. The restaurant is graded A - means it is clean. The food were okay. Ordered Belacan fried rice, Kampung fried rice, beef cili, telur dadar peria, chinese tea. It is a nice and recommended place for lunch/dinner when you are in Kota Bahru. I think the waiter, Uncle Joe, is the star of the restaurant!

I used to eat Krutup Serati here, but it was not on the menu anymore, just the choices of chicken and percik’s fish, grilled beef, nasi kerabu only… the atmosphere a bit hot and humid…

No. 1 ayam percik in town! Their nasi kerabu was good too. Don't forget to ask for their percik kulit ayam when they have it, you will not regret it!

nasi kerabu a bit dry and just so-so, sambal not spicy more to sweet and sour. ayam percik well cooked, soft even I choose breast part. the percik sauce more to creamy and sweet side and little red. it's okay for percik sauce but thumb up for chicken (ayam)

I had tried lots of Ayam Percik in my life but to come to the home of ayam percik in Kelantan, one must visit Yati Ayam Percik! The secret to their delicious chicken is their special coconut cream and blended spices thick sauce which is ladled on the chicken during grilling.

The best Ayam percik restaurant. Also served other foods and not only Ayam percik. The Ayam percik portion are big and you can share it. Recommended to try it yourself if you're at kelantan 👍👍😉😋

The restaurant is really Eco-friendly. The environment is nice, well-balanced and the decoration and designs are pretty nice. I went before but I'd say this place is well-known by local people around here. The foods got a lot of choice and you can spontaneously choose whatever you heart desires. The foods were really delicious and kinda spicy. The spices, the ingredients are well-mixed and the mixture of the dishes are nice. Nice chef/chefs! The libations were normal and typical like other common restaurant. The price is really affordable. This restaurant is great for family gathering and group gathering. It's cozy enough for gathering! The service is kinda slow and the facilities is kinda bad. Need to improve more including hygiene section. Other than that, I satisfied with this! Recommended though <3

On Friday, they only open for dining after 2 pm. After negotiation the staff let us to dine in. At 11.30 am, the cooking and grilling of the chicken, fish, just began and everything serve at our table is hot and fresh. Their specialty "ayam percik" ( grilled chicken with coconut base spice sauce) is really delicious, tender and juicy. Daging bakar or grilled meat not so tender and need to chew a lot of time. My comment is their waiter is quite rude and very cynical when anwering our question during order. Need to improve his manner. The cleanliness of this place also need to improve especially if you want to show a good example to outsider.

The restaurant is not as lively as we had used to come before. The staff was not as friendly, and even the food tasted different, the percik chicken especially and the beef was too chewy. We are not sure if they had changed management maybe during the pandemic.

Food was great. I highly liked the Tom Yum 😋 We had a feast for 8 pax, with package total of RM498. Wish they could serve free desserts/fresh fruits alongside with package. I had arrived at merely 8.45pm, and surprisingly, the restaurant was about to close at 9pm 😅 (too early i guess). Yet there still people at dining. Extended up to 9.30pm and then, everyone gotta leave. Didn't manage to eat everything at once, as too exhausted & ran out of time.

A very nice place to have dinner in Kota Bharu, must try their Four Season style steamed fish. All other dishes were delicious too. Price a littlebit on higher side but value for money. Very friendly and helpful staffs.

Was there for iftar few days ago. The meals were scrumptious. We got there at 7pm & the foods were almost all ready on the table. Wonderful food. Slightly higher priced compared to other places but worth the extra dimes. All the food items we ordered were excellent. But the best was the steamed nyonya deep sea barramundi fish (siakap). This is a special item. The deep sea barramundi is definitely tastier than the same fishe from fish farming.

Halal Chinese restaurant. Signature curry fish is good. Salted egg sotong taste superb. The fish and sotong are fresh. Keng som taste normal, got another shop serve best Keng Som in Kota Bahru.

This is probably the only bar in KB. It is a very relaxing place to chill out with friends. Foods are delicious and perfect match with beers. Will come back again when I am at KB.

Just a poor bar with air con. Better off going to the multiple coffee shops that sell a variety of food and beer.vyou pay for the beer separately from the multiple food people, who cook great food, to order for low price. Plus in most, if you sit in the right place, you can eat, drink and smoke without moving .

A nice place to chill up and have dinner. The owner is very friendly, chatting with us, and letting us know how they marinate their chicken or pork. We ordered grilled chicken and pork loin. Both of them are superb in taste. The cafe environment is impressively splendid ( at least in kelantan). The food is best served with cold chilled draught.

Must order every choice in Snack menu, each one of them comes with different sauce that’s perfect match. Can even taste the great passion of the owner custom-making sauce. High grade Guinness, cozy environment.

My friends and I came over to Kota Bahru for a function and we were from KL and this was our first time in Kota Bahru and we didnt know where to go for beers. It was late afternoon we decided to go to a relaxed place to have a few beers and this place came up. I have to personally say that my friends and me enjoyed the place and the owner was really friendly and welcoming. The pricing is reasonable. We didn't have any food here so I wouldn't be able to comment on this portion.

So many 1 star review. Apparently, they aren't wrong. The grilled chicken served to me taste like raw and not properly cooked. Tauhu Begedil was alright. Definitely not recommended for a visit here! Many better restaurants out there 😡

If I could give less than 1 star for the food, I would. The place and ambience was nice. I ordered seafood tom yam, colek perut and kerabu soo hoon. Colek perut: 3/5 Kerabu soo hoon: 3/5 Seafood tom yam: 0/5 ( seafood was off and somehow seeped into the soup, really tasted the prawn and squid that was not fresh, despite the herbs and chillies )

The place got pretty crowded as the night wore in. So I guess it's a popular place for dinner on a Friday as most shops are closed here. Personally, I wasn't too happy with what was served to me and fam. My nephew was served cold slices of chicken. They only heated the butter for it. The rice was cold as well. I ordered chicken chop but the only dressing for it was pepper (I don't do pepper). Please consider to do mushroom sauce as well. My daughter ordered Mee Hoon soup and it was filled with chilli padi(birds eye chilli). Should have given the option for customers to add it in or leave it aside. Other than that.. they have a variety of cakes to choose from. PS: please do something about the nails on the walls where you hang the mirrors. It is protruding out and it scratched my daughter on her back. It is a hazard.

Bad service! Owner pls take action. Food & drinks, expensive. who on earth sells carrot juice for RM14.50? Nasi goreng was ok and portion is quite alot but taste is mediocre. You have to write your own order lol. So much for an expensive restaurant. Staff aren't well mannered. trainings needed. I came with 11 of us, and i have been calling for the staff to joint our tables but they just stood there like im invisible. When we asked abt the type of colek they have, waiter was like "ha taknak banyak amik yg biasa jelah". Wth haha When the waiters serve our food, they just came, put it on my table, and go. Didn't even explain what just arrived. When i ask them, they didn't even know. Had to yell to her friend at the back to ask. Funny isn't it? Don't be fooled with the bright ambience, it's actually quite dirty. Chairs are worn out, floors kinda oily. Definitely will not repeat.

Haha not for me. I came from KL to Kelantan and our last stop for a day was here. They gave a book of menu which totally like dictionary with lots waste of info. They could combine together in one menu and easy for customers to see. Plus, dont give us the menu that not in stock. Wasting. Grouping in front of the counter? actually this resto started in 2010 and very nice environment and look so cozy. Nice food as well. Easy access and lots of parking spaces nearby. Price also very reasonable and many food selection. From morning till late night can have food over here. Should try thai food and also the local delights served. enjoy your meal

Nice foods as always but make sure they give you the correct change if you were to pay using RM100 since they would probably assume it to be RM50. Happened to me twice. Edit: Sat there for over ten minutes and no one came to serve. Bad service.

Used to be a popular eating place. The food served are mostly local food n some western food. Some of the food is way too pricy eg lemon chicken rice. You get 3 or 4 small pcs of chicken n not worth the price. I hope the management will review the food served n the prices.
