The Fort San Pedro in Cebu is a historic site that was built in the 18th century to protect the Spanish colony from pirates and aggressors. It has since been turned into a small garden and museum with paintings, cannons, old photographs, and a roof deck that is triangular in shape. Free personal tours are available.
Have been here twice. Probably the premier historical site in Cebu in terms of Spanish settlement and interactions with the indigenous population. Its in great condition and you can walk on the walls and bastions.

Not expensive to get in but nothing really there to warrant an entry fee other than grounds keeping. The fort is very well kept with many places for photo taking opportunity. I agree with their additional charges for photo shooting but likely for the fort closure in such a case. A nice way to spend the afternoon
Rich Leung — Google review
A great place to reminisce a part of our history, a part of us as Filipinos. So, if ever your planning to explore Cebu, include Fort San Pedro in your bucket list.
Janemae V. Casanos — Google review
Date visited: Feb 29, 2024 You will be welcomed by a lovely music by our PWD friends which adds a relaxing vibe while exploring the area. (you can donate as well) Loved the ambiance but it can get hot, make sure to bring drinking water and umbrella. It will be great if you will be able to catch up the tour guide during your stay here as he will be able to explain the historical background of each painting inside the fort. Appreciate how the place is maintained. 🅿️ Parking is limited to street parking.
Aireen — Google review
It's a nice little fort with cannon's facing the sea . You need to read more about this place to appreciate it better. Inside you will find a gallery with pictures depicting it's early days from when it was a wooden building . Then later a stone building with it's history as well. Admission is Free.
Cornelius O ' Connell — Google review
This is was a wonderful experience. The fort was amazing and had some great views. They only thing I would recommend is going early in the morning before it starts getting hot. There are benches to sit in and relax if you want to take a moment. Other than that enjoy yourselves.

Always good and feel good hehehe well at all love history seems like i travel back in Time Machine very beautiful lots of tourists but at all great so clean

This is quite a magnificent fort, and it's rather well maintained. 35 pesos for entrance, it's quite big and you can go up the fort. Guides are available but we didn't hire one. It seems to be very popular place among the locals as well.
Elsa X (Elsaxx) — Google review
Wonderful historic building that is beautifully looked after. There are places to sit and rest in the shade. The fort is quite small but still impressive. Do also visit the museum nearby.
Riki Armstrong — Google review
Nice touristy spot, especially for history buffs and archiecture lovers. 30 Peso entrance fee. Nice quiet space in the city. Was not even close to being crowded. You can learn about the history of Cebu and San Pedro fort. There are decorative benches inside the fortress walls. I broughg skne fruit and had a snack while taking in the views.

We didn't get inside as it is closed Sunday. But I took these pictures outside . We hope to visit again when it is open . Now it is the next day and we visited again. We got inside this time. There is a small picture gallery inside that gives you an idea of how it was many centuries ago . Otherwise it is a small fort with thick walls and no damage to see . Some cannon's around the walls .but apart from that there is nothing much to see . Apart from using your imagination and pictures inside including details about the fort . Entrance is free.
Cornelius O'Connell — Google review
There is not much to see inside . Entrance is 30 pesos per person. This is the smallest and oldest fort in the Philippines. Best time is early morning, gets crowded and hotter in the afternoon. This is well kept. There is a restroom inside.

The place was indeed very historical , you could not imagine that the structure and it was once held for a war .. it is just nice you were in the same place were the history taken from

Properly cleaned and maintained. Very informational about Cebu’s heritage. There is also a small pop up selling some souvenir items

The most impressive attraction I’ve visited in Cebu city. A must-to-see place! The more Philippines history I’ve read, the better understanding to this country. Come here to see the past of Spanish colonization in Philippines, and you would find the familiarity of the other Spanish colonized countries.
Jui-Yu Chuang — Google review
The regular adult admission fee is 30 pesos. The optimal time to visit is during the early morning hours, as dealing with the intense tropical heat of the Philippines can be challenging. The area is relatively compact, and there are no options for purchasing coffee or other items inside. A complete stroll, which includes the gallery section, can be completed in around 15 minutes. Exploring the elevated section is particularly enjoyable, offering a refreshing and breezy environment. I even spotted birds in flight around the vicinity.

My January visit to Fort San Pedro in Cebu was a fascinating journey through history. The well-preserved Spanish fort offered a glimpse into the past, with informative exhibits and commanding views of the surroundings. The blend of historical significance and scenic beauty makes it a worthwhile stop for anyone exploring Cebu's cultural heritage. Quite well maintained.

Fort San Pedro in Cebu is a captivating historical site, one of the oldest Spanish fortresses in the Philippines. Its robust walls and unique blend of Spanish and native architectural styles are visually striking. The fort houses a museum with artifacts from the colonial period, offering educational insights into history. With scenic city views and serene gardens, it's a peaceful retreat in the heart of Cebu. This fort is a must-visit for its historical significance and the glimpse it offers into the Philippines' colonial past.
I Mooser — Google review
A lovely fort that somehow feels nostalgic. You can really sense the rich history from the Spanish era, the vibe is a perfect mix of Philippines and Europe. The photo gallery is quite underwhelming as it has just some printed pictures. But I loved that there was a blind acoustic group outside singing and playing beautiful songs on the guitar. They add to the good feel of the place. Very windy as well when we went there. Upstairs there's a good view of the city and the city which I appreciated. Entrance is Php30, with discount for local students and seniors.
Mita Urbano — Google review
Fort San Pedro in Cebu City stands as a fascinating relic of history, nestled in the heart of the bustling city. This 16th-century military defense structure, the smallest and oldest triangular bastion fort in the country, offers visitors a glimpse into the Philippines’ colonial past. Beyond its historical appeal, Fort San Pedro also features a charming little patio—an unexpected delight for those who visit. The patio area of Fort San Pedro is a quaint and serene spot, perfect for relaxation. Here, visitors can often enjoy the ambient strumming of live music, adding a layer of enchantment to the already peaceful surroundings. The live performances, typically featuring local musicians, create a soothing backdrop as you stroll through the gardens or sit back and soak in the historic ambiance. The fort itself is well-preserved, allowing history enthusiasts to explore its walls, bulwarks, and museum with artifacts that tell tales of its past. The entrance fee for non-Filipino visitors is a modest PHP 30, making it an affordable excursion for tourists. This nominal fee contributes to the maintenance and preservation of this historical site.
José Antonio Tizón Caro — Google review
Fort San Pedro is a historical gem in Cebu that transports visitors back in time. The well-preserved fort, with its distinctive triangular shape, is a testament to the country's colonial past. The strategic location by the sea adds to its historical significance, making it a must-visit for history enthusiasts. The museum inside provides valuable insights into the Spanish era, displaying artifacts and information about the fort's role throughout history. The meticulous maintenance of the gardens and structures enhances the overall ambiance. Fort San Pedro stands as a living testament to Cebu's rich heritage, offering a captivating and educational experience for all who explore its grounds.

Great historic site in Cebu city. Built starting in 1565 by Legaspi, it's triangular shaped with canons. Entrance is just a few pesos and there is nice park outside the walls. You can walk around the perimeter on top of the walls and get a good view of Cebu city. It's a must see if you're a history buff and want to learn more admit Cebu city.
Marc Zwillinger — Google review
Like stepping back over 300 years, Fort San Pedro is one of the oldest places to visit in Cebu City. This stone and mortar, triangle structure dates from at least 1738. The date 1738 is inscribed on its gate. It is the oldest triangular bastion fort in the country. It represents the first Spanish settlement in the Philippines. And, as a structure, it reflects the Philippines' history of change -- from colonialism to independence. For example, at the end of the 19th century, Filipinos revolted against Spain, known as the Philippine Revolution. At the end of The Battle of Manila, the Filipinos took control of this fort in order to fortify its shore. During World War II, the Japanese used the walls as a stagging area. After WWII, it was a Filipino army hospital and army camp; Cebu Garden Club; a zoo; government building. It is now run by the City of Cebu government. It is what the Philippines means to me -- never ending, centuries of change.
Jed Justiniani — Google review
You get what you see, nothing more, nothing less. The outer walls of the fort, minimal toilets and a tiny gallery. The price matches the expectations. My main disappointment is the great potential the fort could have, most rooms are closed, very little to none information ports or guides. Hard to know the actual or engage with it. No exhibits of the era. Some shade and well kept.
Johnny — Google review
Nice encounter to see the fort of the Spanish invaders/colonist. It was interesting to see the walls evidently made from coral reefs and coastal rocks. Nice music played by the blinds who seeks kind donations. 💵 30 Peso (“See First, Pay Later”)
Avy Artemis — Google review
I could only take a few pictures in front of the fortress because we arrived late. However, the design of the door was impressive and grandiose. If I have the opportunity to visit Cebu again, I will make sure to go there earlier.

Historical landmark
Sights & Landmarks
The historical landmark Magellan's Cross marks the first step of Ferdinand Magellan in the Philippines, a journey that would result in Catholicism becoming the dominant religion in the country. The cross is housed inside a rotunda on the plaza between town hall and Basilica of Santo Nino and is one of Cebu City's top tourist destinations.
To go to Magellan‘s cross is free. You don’t need to pay anything but it is crowded. It sits next to a Catholic church that has a mass that usually goes on but there are guards there but it’s very lovely to see the inside of the pavilion with the cross itself knowing you’re stepping in front of history if you’re visiting Cebu, you should definitely visit this place. It also sits next to a couple of market places. The parking is not too far but you will have to pay for it but I think it’s only 30 pesos but as well worth coming to.
Kyle Murphy — Google review
Good for taking pictures and strolling around. You can also offer prayers here. Area is safe because there are guards in the vicinity.

A very interesting place to visit. I went with my wife who said she had heard about this place since she was only little. It’s a very nice area of the city, clean and great place to go. This places speaks to the connection many in the Philippines has to their faith and upbringing. It closes at 6pm but you can still see through the gates really well. Sunset at the town square is beautiful.

A nice and quick visit to one of (if not the most) historic site in Cebu! We visited the site on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. There are ladies in the site who sell candles and offer prayers. Great spot for a quick visit!

Magellan's Cross is a significant historical site with cultural and architectural importance, conveniently located in the center of Cebu City. However, it can get crowded, and the size and limited information provided might leave some visitors expecting more. Visitors should plan their visit with these considerations in mind. Pros of Magellan's Cross: Historical Significance: Magellan's Cross is a historically significant site, marking the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines. It's a symbol of the country's rich cultural heritage and religious history. Cultural Experience: Visitors can immerse themselves in the local culture by learning about the story of Magellan's Cross and its importance in Cebuano history. Central Location: The cross is conveniently located in the heart of Cebu City, making it easy to access and an ideal starting point for exploring other nearby attractions. Architectural Beauty: The octagonal chapel housing Magellan's Cross is a beautiful piece of colonial architecture, with intricate carvings and classic design elements. Cons of Magellan's Cross: Crowds: The site can get very crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons, making it challenging to fully appreciate the historical significance and take pictures without a crowd in the background. Size: Magellan's Cross is relatively small and may not meet the expectations of those looking for a larger, more imposing historical monument. Limited Time: Visitors may find that they can only spend a short amount of time at the site due to its size and the limited information provided. Maintenance Issues: At times, the condition of the site and the surrounding area may suffer from maintenance issues, such as graffiti or litter.

Date visited: Feb 29, 2024 Finally checked one of my bucket list when it comes to visiting Cebu City. We only see this through our books, now we’re here!! Magellan’s Cross is a significant landmark in the history of Catholic in the Philippines 🇵🇭 There are ladies that will sell candles and offer you a prayer and donation in which they will pray for you while dancing. (Please see video)

The Magellan's Cross is no longer open for anyone to enter, just offer your prayers by throwing a candle inside.

This is just my viewpoint. I had so high expectations before going here as tourist. But when I went there I was a bit disappointed at how small it is, not a great for picture. It's of historical significance. But the park where it is located, is nice

No entrance fee is needed upon entering the Magellan’s Cross. This establishment is also situated beside Minor Basilica of Holy Child of Cebu also known as the Sto. Nino Church. Don’t forget to light 🔥 a candle 🕯️ here after visiting Magellan’s Cross! Better to have your day viewing during weekday, less people are around. A little history from Wikipedia: Magellan's Cross Pavilion is a stone kiosk in Cebu City, Philippines. The structure is situated on Plaza Sugbo beside the Basilica del Santo Niño. It houses a Christian cross that was planted by explorers of the Spanish expedition of the first circumnavigation of the world, led by Ferdinand Magellan, upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on April 21, 1521. Along with the Basilica del Santo Niño's church and convent buildings, the pavilion is a declared National Cultural Treasure of the Philippines.

The place was crowded as it was a weekend, most of them church-goers and tourists walking around. It was a nice experience seeing Magellan’s Cross (or what encases it, as the original isn’t actually what’s on display). If you have a private vehicle and get off by the church front, you will be met by vendors who sell trinkets and candles, eager to tell you a story or two about what they’re selling. There are also people who sell refreshments all over the place in case you get thirsty from all the walking you’ll be doing.
Anthony Quijano — Google review
Finally able to visit this iconic landmark on my 5th visit in Cebu. We went here on a Sunday night. The gates were closed so we had to take photos from the outside. There were lots of families and locals gathered in the area. There weren’t much to see but worth checking out still.
Eizen Barleta — Google review
Review as of March 2024 The place is rich with history is a given. The convenience of getting there makes this site one of the most visited places in Cebu. The place is locked a night but one can sill take photos. During the day, the place is swarmed by tourists.
Kwik Acuna — Google review
I visited in the afternoon, around 3pm, there are security guards available in the area. There were devotees too who are willing to take a good picture of you or your group (with no fees - on your discretion if you give them tips). Apparently, the original cross was enclosed with tindalo wood, as written on the markings.

One of the first things that struck me was the accessibility of Magellan's Cross. It's conveniently located in the heart of Cebu City, making it an easy stop for tourists. Whether you're on a city tour or exploring Cebu on foot, you'll find it accessible and well-marked. The history behind Magellan's Cross is a fascinating journey back in time. It marks the spot where Ferdinand Magellan planted a cross in 1521, signifying the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines. The site is rich in cultural heritage and is a must-visit for history buffs. The historical information displayed around the site provides valuable insights into the significance of this cross and its role in shaping the Philippines. What truly stood out during my visit was the warmth of the local people. They are not only welcoming but also eager to share the history and take photos of visitors. It's a heartwarming experience to have locals approach you with a smile and offer to capture your memories. It's a testament to the friendly and hospitable nature of the Filipino people.

This is my dream destination! I really love this landmark, and finally i saw it up close. I was grateful and prayed for protection and happiness for my family and myself. 🥹❤️ There were a lot of people when we visited this place, the parking is not that hard to find. But i think you will need a lot of patience for you to visit this landmark. 😊

It is just a metal cross in a stone enclosure behind metal gates. With billions of drippy & droopy candles stuffed in there. Looked like a disgusting mess to clean up. And yes, drippy and droopy were the best words to describe these candles.

The Taoist temple in Cebu City is a beautiful and tranquil place to visit, with striking dragon designs on the walls. The temple is popular with Chinese visitors, who come to pray or reflect.
One of the best place to capture great moments and scenery in the heart of Cebu City. Taoist Temple is one of the exemplary place to visit based on the belief and based on the utmost great view that they do have. Adorned with dragon statues and intricately beautiful architecture, the Cebu Taoist Temple is one of the most visited spots in Cebu City. Situated on top of a hill, this temple was built in 1972 by the Chinese community in Cebu.
EA Armado — Google review
It’s one of the worth checking tourist attractions in Cebu city. You can get there on walk or taking a cab from the city. The temple is located on a hill thereby giving wider panoramic view of Cebu city. Inside it’s quiet and has numerous Taoism altars to pray and seek blessings. From outside, the architecture is quite unique and stands out well in Cebu. Decorated with concrete statues, pagodas, lanterns, and furious dragons, the whole compound looks wonderful.
Sherab Tenzin — Google review
The place is nice and peaceful. No entrance fee, just make sure you have a mask ready. I went there with a taxi cost me like ₱50 from the subdivision gates. Best to go with someone who can make good shots for your photo. The place is picturesque. Don’t be too loud coz its actually a prayer place. No picture taking allowed on the inside of temple itself and their statues inside. You are free to pray and lit a candle stick(not sure what you call that stick) I went there alone and yet I enjoyed exploring and climbing up the stairs .. Make sure your knees and joints are ready for that high climb..

Review as of March 2024 Being a dominantly Catholic population, this temple is one of the few Taoist temples in the Philippines. Despite this, the place is well maintained and has a great view of the Cebu City landscape. Visitors are not allowed to take photos inside the places of worship.

We had a cab driver rented for the afternoon to drive us around the mountainside so we can visit all the tourists spots. This was the first stop. This place was beautiful. Every frame I took here was just postcard perfect. But be respectful. This is a temple. As you would treat your own church, treat this place as sacred.
Janice Alvarez — Google review
It’s free. Has beautiful architectural aspects, well maintained, and with beautiful views. Great the it’s open and shared with all. Recommend and would return. Not too sure about the big garage they are building but perhaps necessary due to visiting demand vs neighborhood impacts.

A typical Chinese temple, with lots of dragon designs, lanterns, and a huge pagoda. It is well-maintained. You should observe silence, and keep a low voice at all times. There’s this room where you can pray, and ask if something that you are longing for will come true or not. When we were there, we tried to wait for the officiator, but we were also hesitant if the person can speak English. So, we just looked around.
Elyssa Ymb — Google review
The place is very serene and garden is beautiful. Nice structure and design. Taking pictures of the prayer area is not allowed or even using it as background. Need to respect it because its their house of prayer. There are staff assigned. The temple is located in the hill where you can see the city. Best time to come early.

This was an ok place. I wasn't too happy about having to p ut on a facemask even though the pandemic is over. There are lots of stairs and it just made it uncomfortable. Other than that the buildings were what you would expect them to be.

I love places like this. Usually, a feeling of inner peace and calm washes over me when I visit temples or shrines. I had a difficult time accomplishing that here for some reason. There was too much spiritual dissonance and disruption in the ether here. Location was breathtaking and beautiful. Maybe 20 or 30 years ago, when it wasn't surrounded by wealth and opulence, it may have had a different, more serene vibe. I went here to honor a friend who had passed recently and held Daoist beliefs. I even wanted to grieve a little for him, but the "touristy" vibe negated that. The cost of maintenance has obviously been a factor, so I left a larger-than-normal offering. But, damn! It's such a beautiful place!

To be honest, there is not a lot to see apart from the buildings themselves. However, we still thought it was worth the trip, and you get a great view of the city It is free to enter, but you do need to have a face mask - albeit nobody implemented the rule once you were inside the complex
Peter Holdway — Google review
You go here to pray in the Taoist Temple. But you can also go here to appreciate the wonderful and stunning view from the mountains. Wear a mask when you enter the compound. Do not take pictures inside the temple. Do not take pictures of the figures. It is a sacred religious place.
Mark Andrew Estella — Google review
NOT WORTH IT. It’s located inside a private subdivision so there’s no public transport that can go in. Only cars (taxi/grab) plus when u reach there, the security guard will force u to buy a face mask but there’s nobody inside the temple that’s implementing this rule. Some of the staffs don’t even wear one. I think the security guard earn his commissions from the sales of the mask haha. There’s nothing really to see inside this temple. If u have a lot of extra time or days from your stay, better spend it somewhere else.

Temple nice and on an elevated landscape, so views of the city below. I came here because there doesn't appear to be any toa temples in Cebu but maybe wrong and adds another piece of the unique history puzzle that is Cebu. BRING YOUR FACE MASK as this is compulsory and there is none for sale. Oh and BRING ID as security on the road demands before entering into this expensive neighbourhood.

The Temple of Leah, also known as Cebus Taj Mahal, is a beautiful Roman-style temple dedicated to Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. The temple overlooks the city of Cebu and is a popular tourist attraction with life-sized statues of Roman gladiators, lions, and angels.
What a fantastic place to visit! The views are absolutely amazing and highly recommended. The architecture is breathtaking and so are the views of the old church and the cityscape of Cebu City seen from the main patio and from the arched temple area. Definitely a place to put on your bucket list of you're visiting Cebu!

Not much to see but it's a good place to take pictures. Bring plenty of sunblock as it can be pretty hot there. Entrance fee is also pricey for what you see inside. It is a good insta spot for sure.

Getting to this temple was not too bad and very little traffic in the afternoon. A little over PH500 for four of us entrance fee. I was very disappointed to see that they let this place go without being taken care of. The lions and and angels need attention as well as other areas need cleaning. People were putting their feet on the lions and handing the angels with their hands which you could visibly see the green corrosion. This place was at one time a site to see. Not worth the money or time for me.

Pretty good place to go for pictures, both inside and outside. There was still some construction being done while we were there. Great view of the surrounding towns underneath. The pricing is okay, I think it would be very nice if there was an entrance speech regarding the Temple. Perhaps something to visit a couple times. Would be nice if there was a museum.

This was one of the few highlights of our stay in Cebu City. The drive to the Temple is interesting, and when you arrive, it is breathtaking to think that a man built this just as a memorial to his wife. Yes, the contents are not well displayed and you cannot access all of the rooms but the scale and design are amazing. You also get great views of the City

Cool place to go. Just remember that if you go here and uou are renting a taxi, make sure that you have a ride going down or else it will take you time to hail another one. Some of the parts are of limit. Just the main temple wing is open for everyone.

Amazing architecture and view indeed. Entrance fee ₱100, parking ₱50. Road going there is quite narrow but taxi can make it. A must visit place in Cebu. Large space for groups, with big parking area. It has a small snack area at the ground floor near the grand stairs. Breath taking view 🤩

Behold the grandeur of the Temple of Leah in Cebu! This majestic structure stands as a tribute to undying love and devotion. Inspired by ancient Roman architecture, the temple offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the surrounding landscape. As you explore its intricate details and sprawling gardens, you'll be transported to a realm of timeless beauty and heartfelt sentiment. The Temple of Leah is a must-visit destination that captivates both the eyes and the soul.

Too sad that when we visited, the place was under renovation. The entrance fee for adults is 150pesos. It was my second time here and the tale of as to why this was built still amazes me. The Philippines own Taj Mahal. The plaza seems like it is touching the sky. The architecture is astounding 💕

We visited Temple of Leah at night around 8pm. It was magical at night with the lights and there was almost no one else there. It was romantic! We saw the lights of Cebu City from up top and the lights at the temple were beautiful. We walked around the building and enjoyed looking into the 24 chambers. Entrance was 150 pesos each for temple of leah plus 50 pesos for parking. Highly recommend coming in the evening the experience the ambiance.

Temple of Leah is a remarkable place of historical ancestry of Adarna family and you can see🧐 the very expensive collection of antique jars big and small, paintings, chandeliers and figurines... (⚠️ Take note: If you broke one of them you pay automatically 😱😵‍💫i don't know how much the price???)..Visit this place and enjoy..you see is to believe.

Review as of March 2024 This attraction is such a grandiose expression of a man's undying love for his departed wife. The concept is akin to her being elevated to goddess level of worship. The site itself is vast, the structure very domineering, and the collections are timeless and tasteful. I wish I could have seen how this looks like at night for the added drama of lighting to the edifice. Nevertheless the structure (and its contents) is such a sight to behold. Good thing we arrived early allowing us to take photos without a swarm of people to compete with.

Definitely a must-visit in Cebu City! Awesome architecture that will make you get a feel of Europe. Been here a couple of times already and I hope that on my next visit, there will already be more improvements.

I literally just googled my way to get here, and it was definitely worth the drive. It comes into a small narrow road up the mountains. The view is amazing!!! It's like you're halfway to heaven if it was any higher. The price was reasonable and there were also a lot of visitors taking pics. There's parking inside the temple, the attendants will guide you where to park. I enjoyed my time there just enjoying the view and the calm environment away from the bustling city.

It is a very peaceful place and one can feel the calming environment of such a divine place. There is a good sitting arrangement on a big whined of the temple. At the time of the Sunrise, you can enjoy an amazing view of the Sun

This was a cool spot to visit. We saw it on a super hot day and didn’t spend much time here. But if your in the neighborhood stop on in for some wonderful views of the city and around this temple. Word from our tour guide was some rich dude built it as a tribute to his wife. Done up in a Roman style palace. Complete with statues of the gladiators. Large stairs with lions on each side. Beautifully done stone floors with detailed inlays. And at the center is a statue of the temple’s namesake, Leah! Enjoy and may you find romance like the lovely couple.
Dave Ralston — Google review
₱150pp entry fee + vehicle parking fee (motorbike is ₱30). Not a difficult drive up the mountain to this location as the roads are smooth. Beautiful balcony and square in front of the temple but the statue itself is underwhelming. You can get a great view of the whole of Cebu City from this location.

I was impressed by the beautiful views of Cebu City and surrounding areas from the Temple of Leah. It is a beautiful place to visit, I visited it as part of a City Tour adventure. The place was not that crowded which allows for opportunities to take nice pictures with the family.

Temple of Leah is a very impressive showing of a husband's love for his wife. This is a very beautiful place with wonderful views of Cebu. There are ongoing renovations in which you would expect at a place this large. Definitely worth the trip up the mountain. It is very popular and busy. We arrived at 3pm on a Friday. Enjoy.

Indeed one of the beautiful structure in Cebu, a taste of Greek architecture! A building that was built with love for Leah! Must visit the place to know more the history of the place, I suggest grab a city tour via travel tours agency that includes the place since transportation is not that good in the western part of cebu city.
Janrryl Niño Ureta — Google review
It's a memorial of some rich person's wife, the antics on display is a collection of memorabilia of Leah Albino-Adarna, who was grand-parent to a famous PH actress, it had interesting Greek inspired architecture, and a 10 foot statue of Leah herself as the center-piece. Admittedly though, there wasn't much to see.. my small group finished through both wings of the museum in under an hour, which wasn't worth the effort to drive there. The time I went there, it was undergoing renovation.
Jon Jubelag — Google review
I have quite high expectations for this tourist attraction tho I am impressed with the structures of this temple. We also noticed scaffolding in various areas of the temple, indicating that the renovation is still going on. All in all, we still enjoy the majestic overlooking view.

The view is breathtaking, next time I’ll try out the restaurant but even without eating at the restaurant you get to see the statues and the monuments. The problem is that I saw a couple doing intimate poses by the fountain, I don’t think that is very respectful because this is a temple not a playground for a couple to be so unethical in a religious place where people pray.

unfortunately most of the rooms were closed off for renovations so was only able to go down one corridor. was relatively less crowded than expected due to the rain. a nice place to visit because really feels like you are out of the philippines

Temple of Leah has a stunning view! It’s really a beautiful place even though there is not a lot to do there it’s a place I would recommend to visit because of how pretty the building/ interior and the view is! For INSTAGRAMMERS it’s a nice place to take pictures! Or just to enjoy the architecture! 🤩

Had a fun time going around the place. They had very “interesting” things to see 😄. Best to go though on a week day to avoid the weekend crown… and in your own vehicle. It’ll be hard to go back down from the temple

The time I went here, there was some renovation being done; but I can't deny the impressive architecture of this temple. Plus, you can also see the breathtaking view of Cebu City outside. And for those who want to visit, there's a ₱150 entrance fee for adults.

Casa Gorordo Museum is a Spanish colonial-style house that serves as museum and gift shop with exhibits on Cebuano history. The house is home to the family of Juan Gorordo, the first native bishop of Cebu.
Fun to visit. The tour guides are friendly and approachable. You can ask them questions, and they are knowledgeable about the architecture and layout of the historic house. There are miniature cars at the ground floor. The layout of the house is wide and long so different groups of guests remain separated. The cafe is worth checking out for souvenir foods

Casa Gorordo, located in Cebu, is a historical house museum that offers a glimpse into the colonial lifestyle during the Spanish era. The house belonged to the affluent Gorordo family and showcases artifacts, furniture, and memorabilia from that time. It's an enriching experience for visitors interested in Cebu's history and culture.

Lovely museum! They even have a cafe at the end of the tour with toilets. The entrance is 150 pesos and they give you a tablet that you listen to while going on the numbered displays. I would visit again if I go back to Cebu. Well-maintained building.

It is a really nice Museum with a guided tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and coupled with the video they showed us about the place for historical background, I got a better understanding of the house. There is a souvenir shop and Cafe at the end. Restrooms can be found there as well. I also liked the complimentary souvenir they give you when paying the entrance fee.

Took us back to the simple times. The house was way more than just the aesthetic of its rooms and entrance. It tells you a story of a life lived in contentment. Personally, I love the bathroom and kitchen area!

A surprisingly beautiful place to visit when you’re in Cebu City. It’s full of history and will transport you back in time. There’s a paid tour, whether by a guide or through an app/tablet (?). We got the tour guide version which we really enjoyed. It’s a must-visit place for museum enthusiasts.

Very well-kept & organized museum house. Stepping inside seemed like I travelled back to the Spanish era. The local guide I s very well-versed and using an interactive wall, I got to see the old Cebu and the planning/arrangement in different eras of Philippine history. The memorabilia is well-kept and we enjoyed going through the different rooms in the class/house. The tour ends in the museum shop where you can buy souvenirs & Cebu food items.

I went here for a school project and asked if we could film. unfortunately, we weren't allowed to film inside the house but we were allowed to film the outside which was fair. Tour guides were very friendly and approachable, they were very professional and really knows a lot about the history of the house. There's also a cafe opening soon on November, I believe it's Bo's coffee.

They upgraded their tour now with tablets! I still remember way back 2018 that we have a tour guide but it doesn't matter since it makes our tour better with tablets. French restaurant
La Vie Parisienne, located on Gorordo Avenue, offers a stunning ambiance and delectable French and Italian cuisine. The restaurant is known for its mouthwatering dishes like baguette with tomato and fresh mozzarella with pesto, as well as a variety of pastries. With rates starting at 100 PHP (2.00 USD) for food and around 300 PHP (6.
It’s all about the mood. It’s a perfect place for catchups and long, soulful conversations with friends. Some parts can get a bit hot, they can work further on ventilation. Nonetheless, we had a great experience. The crew gave all-out assistance. I wish I tried any of the pastries!

La Vie Parisienne La Brigada de Cuisine of French and Italian in Gorordo Ave. 📌 371 Gorordo Ave, Cebu City, 6000 Cebu 📝 The ambiance is inviting and beautiful enough with colours lighting up your dinner experience. Yet, the place was indeed fancy with its vallet service and good looking french uniform girls doing services but the overall quality of the service is lacking and slow, and didn't expect it at all. The place is gorgeous for fancy dinner experience with fine dinning utensils set. But mostly they set your mood down of how crowded inside the front desk and by the way for now it is also self-serve meal. The food prices set is (₱₱₱-₱₱₱₱) it is also dissapointing that how the prices of the food is high but lacking service to you. The restroom. Yuck. They haven't made changes for the messieurs comfort room for the last time in 7 years, highly discourage for the fancy dinner set. 🤏 The food we get is margarita pizza, double pasta linguine with bolognese sauce and toppings with mushroom, bacon, and tomatoes, and lastly ice cream (gelato) with flavours of coffee, cheesecake, chocolate, mango, and etc. Margarita Pizza is quite fair, the taste is simple with mozarella cheese of base of the saltiness with the basil, But the dough is still raw, the toppings is easily to separate with the knife exposing the raw dough at the top and the pizza was hard to cut that you need to hire a carpenter. Bolognese Bacon Linguine, the pasta was good, nothing in fine quality, the pasta is freshly made, and the sauce is good either. But overall the food was nothing as fancy but low standard restaurant quality. The gelato, its ice cream is freshly made but some of the flavours are setting a bad taste especially with mango flavour expecting to be sweet and tangy but turns out to be sour. ⚖️ Conclusion: It is between bad and good, I'll give it a fair "okay but you need to improve what I stated above" not worsing it, I do my reviews honestly with good or bad experience, but the setting is sour. But I still recommend for this place for drinking wine or cheering drinms with your friends. I'll give it 2 out of 5.

Wine: We tasted the new wine they have, and it was superb. It was great compared to the usual wine they have and the beer also was fine. The environment was slightly hot outside even when it is night time that is why I recommend wearing comfortable but classy outfit going there. When we also asked for ice, the other three servers did not entertain us even though they were not busy. I cannot recommend this place if you are looking for affordable chill out experience because the food and drinks were expensive. But, if you can afford, then much better. Ambiance: The interior design of the cafe was amazing. Also, the environment outside was nice except the flooring because there are a lot of unnoticeable holes and many guests tripped on it. Overall, the place is very romantic and the designs were fantastic. I would really recommend this place for those who want to explore and for those who are looking for romantic location. For average people like me, we really have to prepare our pockets for us to have the best experience. Thank you!

If you have friends who have images of the concave room filled of wines, there is a hype about this restaurant. I came here specifically for that one. But, to my surprise, I enjoy the ambiance; the restaurant is old, and the upholstery needs to be replaced, but it is a charming spot to eat. They also have valet parking because the location is too small to accommodate the crowds. Wine is inexpensive; you can get a bottle for as little as 450 pesos if you just want to try it. Their menu is limited, and their prices may be higher than those found at malls. But, hey, you came for a reason, so don't hold it against the pricing. Their charcuterie is okay, and the pasta is acceptable. The drawback is the food ordering process; there is always a line and orders are still written on paper receipts. There's also the customer who asks a lot of questions about wines and cheeses... so there.

The place is along the highway so it's easy to find. It's very instagrammable too so it's perfect for date nights. This is not a restaurant wherein the staff will serve you, it's a self-service restaurant so you will have to go to the counter to order. The menu is a bit pricey for a self-service restaurant. What you're paying for here is the ambience but there's nothing really special with the food.
Kristine Mae B — Google review
This place is super cute, eclectic and awesome. It is a bit expensive, and we had to pay extra for butter which didn't come out with the plain bread, and you have to pay an entry fee and for WiFi, so it's an 'everything is extra' kind of place. The decor and atmosphere is cute though. I would recommend, just be prepared for all the additional costs.

I am from Dumaguete City. My wife's cousin suggested thi place when I asked her where to eat in Cebu. The interior of the restaurant is appealing to the eyes, inspired by French bistros. It was fun to be here and the lights during the night were very entertaining to my eyesight.  They offer products from sausage to cuts and cold cheeses. They have 30 different flavors of Gelato. I didn't know the taste of Gelato was so good and it was my first time to try gelato and I didn't regret it. I will surely go back to this place to eat gelato again. I tried their Pistachio and Ferrero Rocher it has a rich taste and very satisfying to my taste buds. I'd highly recommend to buy a selection of their wines so you could feel the ambiance especially during the night.

Had an amazing night here, we only ate a few snacks. The place is nice, lighting is good. They even had a replica or a mini Paris which is great. At first when we arrived, some of the staff are not that welcoming, or we feel a bit ignored. Gladly one of the staff outside directed us on a seat, and the staff that serve us is also kind.

For foods, they serve nice pizza, I personally love the Hawaiian. Their garlic parsley fries is also a fave of mine. As per wine, I've tried peach wine, raspberry wine. Both are nice and good. As a wine lover, I could finish the whole bottle. For the champagnes, I've tried the apple one and it's so-so. I love fruity flavors but their champagne is not just for me. For the place, I suggest you stay inside. Well airconditioned. The vibes is very Paris and it's really cozy. I don't suggest sitting outside, it's really hot. I was dripping in sweat while sipping the wine so funny. Overall, the staff are nice.

You have to pay an entrance fee to go in. Good place to enjoy the cool weather and you get to walk 3 levels in total to explore this place. They have ice cream, nice small bakery, coffee, beer - nothing special about the food but some nice spots for you to take photos. Service could be better - people are not very friendly. Basically a tourist spot; but a good tourist spot. Lots of koreans here.

They have 100 peso consumable upon entering the place, the ambiance is very french. If you want good photos of the winery you'll have to practice your poses at home first because there is a line waiting for their turn to take a photo. The food prices are quite high so if you want to dine in you'll have to ready your wallets. The night view is also quite nice because of the lighting, the whole place is very instagramable.

Would've been better if the place had updated upkeep. The floor boards were a bit wonky (we were doubtful of its ability to hold our weights). Some chairs were broken and the ACU was broken at its central area (been there both afternoon and late evening). Wine selections were so-so and there's no option for cheese platters and cold cut platters. However food is good once served, we liked their desserts and the gelato was yummy (the matcha flavor tends to melt too fast though). Currently with a ticket system which you can use to buy food. Very busy at evenings and weekends but more charming at night too. Been here less than 5 times.

Food was okay. A bit too crowded to be a date place. Not really into their wine selection but dont take my word for it as I'm no wine expert. Their cheese selection is good and best paired with wine of choice. Place is a bit far from the main city and may have trouble getting a cab fi going home late at night.

Visited this place for the view and the ambiance, and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is posh, especially the main dining area. Definitely recommending to go here a bit dressed up so you can match the atmosphere. There are also seats in the rooftop area, it's just not well lit at the time maybe because there are not that many people dining in. There's also no personnel so it's a bit of a hassle when you need extra utensils, water, or when you need any service at all. I'm not sure if it's always like this, but if it is, I hope they should put someone there to attend to customers who chose to dine with a view.

they have more italian then french food. their all meat pizza was good but the pasta was overcooked ! they have a very nice huge open air dinning garden nice lightd and romantic but on saturday night 10.30 pm 3 little girls been running around and nonstop screaming while their parents had a peaceful dinner inside the aircon area ! i complained to the waiter and told him to speak to the parents of these 3 little girls but the waiter did nothing and they noisy girls continued ! he just told me its not allowed to smoke in that open air garden. further they don't show the price of soft drinks on their menu and now i know why because they charged 150 peso for 1 can coke zero. their food prices are reasonable but 150 php is too much for a coke zero. anyway without the disturbing kids and the none smoking rules at the garden it would have been a nice dinner even the pasta was overcooked.

Thé atmosphère is beautiful. It is a nice place to take photos and relax weather you want to have a lite drink or actually eat. They have a nice wine cellar. The service wasn’t bad. However, I found it a little annoying to be seated and I couldn’t order from my table. The food though. Was very good. I had the truffle and mushroom pizza. It was amazing and then I had ice cream which was very good as well. They have a good selection of wines on deck. But you can’t purchase by glass. Only full bottle.

Confusing system of 200 PHP on entry which can be used immediately on food or drink. I assume to deter sightseers that see the wine cellar then leave. The staff doesn’t seem to know much about wine. You can only buy bottles. Very very few of the bottles have listed prices. Only around 10-15 wines are refrigerated. We bought a California Viognier for 980 PHP (fine price) and we received two champagne glasses to drink from. Comfortable and quirky interior with fun decor and a large wine cellar with a subpar selection.

La Vie is a fun place, for a change. It’s a really casual atmosphere and you order at the counter. The only negative that I see is that, the parking is very difficult and slightly dangerous. The driveway is kinda scary going in and out. The prices are very reasonable and they bake their pizza in a wood fired pizza oven. They have a large selection of ice cream flavors. We enjoy La Vie about once a month.

Was so pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Didn't expect much but am happy to be proven wrong. Pros: > great views of the city > macarons were to die for! Seriously, felt like a cloud. > great ambience. If you love taking pictures with self and/or friends, add this spot to your list. > great service - friendly and responsive Cons: > much as I enjoyed this place, food could be better. Ordered bbq pork and it tasted ok (6/10). Also ordered hawaiian pizza and it was so confusing. Somehow it had bell peppers and a hefty amount of mushrooms. Didn't taste bad (5/10) but so unusual. > wine selection was also ok. They didn't even have moscato or riesling when I was there and these two are so basic. Also not much brands offered in terms of winery. We had champagne though and what we had was delicious. That aside, still highly recommend this place. Would definitely come again for the vibe.

Filipino restaurant
Lantaw Floating Native Restaurant in Cordova offers a unique dining experience with Filipino and global cuisine served in a floating dining room. The restaurant's name, "Lantaw," means to look out, reflecting its stunning views at all three branches. Located outside Cebu City proper on Mactan Island, the Cordova branch provides a chic and relaxing ambiance for enjoying grilled and seafood dishes while taking in scenic water and sunset views.
The location is just a few blocks away from CCLEX Cordova Toll Gate. They offer a wide selection of Filipino Food (mostly seafood). We enjoyed their dishes, specially their freshly cooked fish tinola, baked scallops, and grilled squid! They have a very specious and well-ventilated dining area with an open-wall setting. Prices are also fairly expensive and staff service was great. Serving time is also quite fast. Will definitely come back here. It’s a perfect place to be if you’re craving for some seafood delicacies. Not too far away from South Road Properties.

(Translated by Google) No reservation, come to the store after the sun goes down. It was a weekday, but it was very crowded, so I said my name and waited in front of the store. It is so popular that there are many chairs waiting for you! There is a security guard in front of the store, but is it a white taxi? There are more than 20 brokers wandering around, the roads are dark, and it's safe! It was a feeling. As you can see in the pictures, the seats on the sea side are naturally full, and I sat in the seats that are set up around the food stalls at the time of the festival. No complaints about it at all. I enjoyed the feeling of eating with the locals. The roof (tent) is low, so everyone's voices echo and it feels extra lively. On the way, there was a lot of excitement as several shop assistants gave presents of high-energy songs to customers on their birthdays. It was fun not to say Happy Birthday to You that you often hear! Crispy pata is disappointing because there is almost no place to eat. I haven't eaten anywhere else, so I don't know if it's a coincidence. The clam soup was gingery and delicious. However, there is a difference in the freshness of each shellfish, and I secretly tried the ones I was unsure about (゚д゚)﹅. It's like the big juice everyone's been asking for, Sunkist Orange with some fruit in it. Tasty but too big. If you ask, you will be asked the number of people, so it might be better to answer less. Calamansi Juice is what made me glad I went here! Very thick! I regretted not taking out because it was so delicious. I just want to drink that juice again. Prices are quite high for the quality of food. I know other good places, so I wonder if there will be a repeat. On the way back, the radio wave was too bad, so I couldn't make a request with a grab. When I was finally able to make a request, this time I couldn't dispatch a car because it was a strange place, so I had no choice but to ask my brother in the area to use a white taxi. It might be a good idea to leave the taxi waiting or reserve one for the return trip. All things considered, it was a good experience. The energy of the staff here is amazing. It started raining heavily right after we just ordered so we had to stand up since our table was in the line of fire. So a bunch of guests piled up under the awning part to try and stay dry. The staff was unphased and continued serving through the challenges. And they did it with high energy and smiles on their faces. The food was delicious as well.

Very nice place to dine-in. Right next or on the ocean. The atmosphere is one of the best in the area with an awesome view of the sun setting in the afternoon. Food is good, I'll give them a 4.5 on a scale of 5. The meat is tender and tasty. We were served fairly quickly and the staff was very courteous with us.

Visited this place just a few days before the typhoon hit Cebu last Dec 2021.. everything was ruined; I just checked their FB account today and they announced that they are still rebuilding what they lost. I’m glad that despite the struggles, the owner/s decided to rise after falling. I miss lantaw - the great place, tasty and affordable food and the nice staff! To all the people of Lantaw: Don’t worry if you’re not where you want to be yet. Great things take time. We will wait for you❣️

Visiting Philippines again from Canada and we decided to come back to Lantaw at cordova. The food was amazing. There were 13 of us and we ordered a bunch of different dishes from an exotic seafood (don’t know the name of) to the usual ones like shrimp, scallops. We had crispy pata as well (pork knucle) it was incredibly flavorful and super juicy and crispy. The fish sinigang (fish sour soup) was simply delicious and served piping hot. It was comfort food for our tastebuds and heart. Service was top notch. Ample parking. I am definitely coming back when we visit Cebu Philippines again probably next year. Place is worth my dollar bucks💰.💯

There’s no doubt the fish is fresh…. But I would’ve been more at ease not seeing the dogs walking around the kitchen… . . . There’s something about kitchens and food that makes me think the cleaner the better… witnessing street dogs roaming freely next to the cook and the entire kitchen, licking their wounds and being part of the crew is something that made me a bit concern about the cleaning levels of this place. But hey! Having Cebu’s major eating right next to you might be a prove that this place is legit no? Fresh fish properly presented in your table before cooked so that you can see it’s proper fresh fish and not frozen and a packed place did alleviate a little my concerns. Other than that, cooked food was decent, service could’ve been better, more knowledgeable and may be a bit less messy with our order and more attentive with the surroundings. But other than that overall good experience, good meal and a proper decent place for some good food.

What I like: 1. Safety health protocols were emplemented. 2. Good ambiance 3. Friendly staff. 4. Good food. 5. Staff are singing happy birthday song if you have birthday celebrant. What I don't like: 1. Parking have lots of water due to the rain. No proper drainage. 2. Dirty Toilet. Note: on google map, their closing time is 11pm however they close at 10 pm. I already suggest an edit. Overall: We had a good experience during our visit.

Place is nice, good seaside view. The service is great, staff are attentive. The serving time is just right enough not to wait that long. They have plenty of seats. The best that we had here is the Cordova Express which is a mix of seafoods served in a coconut husk, it tastes great, a bit cold though, I think it would be better if it was served hot. Baked Scallops is also good. Their Garlic Butter shrimp is a bit overcooked which tend the skin of the shrimp hard to remove. Pork Belly is a bit rubbery as well. Update: My wife and I got diarrhea from eating here. It seems their seafoods are not that good.

Food was amazing! Service was okay. Really nice ambiance and it's a great place to go when you're in Cebu, for food and pictures teehee I was here for a commercial shoot at night, and the lighting around the place was good, not too dark, not too bright.

It’s our first time to go to Lantaw Cordova. We want to have a dinner for 2. Their staff are not accomodating, not friendly. They didn’t greet their customer, they don’t smile. I understand that it’s busy b’coz its dinner. Their not attentive. I think their staff don’t have the knowledge on what their selling. The plates are dusty. We’re very disappointed! We’re not in the mood the whole time for our dinner. The food is bland especially the sisig. I cannot recommend this place.

I like it that they take time asking, “how’s our food?” ; “Did we enjoy the experience?” They gave us a heads up on the waiting/serving time. 📍Place Loved the ambiance. Whilst out Touring with a local, she recommended trying this place. I wasn’t disappointed. The food was fresh and incredibly tasty. The service was outstanding and although we weren’t there during sunset, I’m told the views later in the afternoon are breathtaking. Should I come back to Cebu, I will definitely make sure I visit again. Try the scallops and the tuna belly.

Good food, good ambience and good service. We enjoyed most of the food we ordered but the adobong pusit it's not bad but it's not good, as well as the baked scallops. The kilawin tanigue, tuna belly, sisig, gambas, chicken inasal and tinola are all good. I can recommend this place since they are affordable with good serving portion.

Lechon restaurant
Filipino restaurant
House of Lechon is a must-visit Filipino restaurant in Cebu, known for its classic Cebuano dishes and local fusion cuisine. It's a popular spot among tourists and locals alike. The restaurant offers a variety of must-try dishes including Carcar special, spicy lechon, bicol express, Sinigang sa Miso, sizzling gambas, breaded salmon with mango sauce, and Pancit de Cebu.
The place looks so nice in person. The people are really nice too. Was accomodated right away even if we didn't have any reservations. Food was delicious but servings are too small. You might wanna try their BAKED SCALLOPS, its delicious!!!!

One of the best places to have Lechon in Cebu. The ambiance is relaxing, the staff are hospitable, and the food is excellent. The Lechon is very juicy and didn't feel oily at all. Will definitely come back when we visit Cebu again. Highly recommended!

Great food! A must try when in Cebu. They offer upgraded casual food options for the family. Service was top notch. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. They speak Visaya, Tagalog, and English well. Place was under slight renovations when we were there June 2023. It was still great but was kind of packed.

Here you can find so many choices of Filipino comfort food. We’re not only talking about lechon here, even the grilled seafood and soup based dishes are great! They have a nice and clean ambience. It has ample space for groups. Service is good as well.

Nice restaurant with really great pork. It’s super busy and I don’t think they take reservations. Everyone was waiting patiently and I think our wait was about 30min, we arrived at about 7pm. Every pork dish is spot on. The roast chicken was also good. The dessert was not bad too! Damages were about 4600 PHP for 6 persons. Not too bad.

Grade: 3/5 stars It may be the Holy Week but I am not happy with the service I received. After ordering, they said that it will take 20 mins. After 40 minutes our grilled food (grilled scallops and tuna belly) came. After another 15 minutes our sinigang na tangigue and rice came. After 20 minutes, the lechon and near the end of the meal, the shakes. I have to go to the front desk 3 times to ask for the drinks. Good thing, Janil assisted us. He is very attentive to our needs, so kudos to him and him alone. The taste: Lechon - so so. The skin is no longer crunchy. Rubbery at most. There are parts that are like jokbal with no taste. Tangigue sinigang - good. Maasim pero di nakakasikmura. Fruity sourness - needs more soup tho. Rice - good. Never have I experienced eating bad rice at any restos here at Cebu. So good job. Grilled Scallops - nice. Too small tho. Missing some things. Not garlicky. Or must be the recipe. Fruit shakes - very nice. I love them. Or must be the fact that I waited so long to drink one. Grilled tuna - very good. The Place: jam packed today. So many people. Waiting is on average 15 minutes so still good The People: kudos to Janil The rest of the staff avoided my gaze as they know that I am going to ask for a followup. So there. All that I have to say.

We arrived at about 4pm on a weekend and it was still about 75% full. Food took some time to come. Overall not bad and we were quite satisfied with the food and service. Only thing was the really long wait even though the restaurant was not full house..

Lechon house used to be very good. The lechon is still superb 👌 👏! Vegetables soup is very salty as well as the Dinuguan. The service can be improved as well. There are a lot of people and crew but they are very unorganized , they are running all over the place and does not attend or check on you, there are crew that were just huddling in the corner and not attending customer or ask them if they need anything even if you literally look at them for help. It took them forever to get back to us to give us our card and give us our card. we already thought they lost it or something. Only after we asked for somebody, a supervisor or manager, to get our card.
June Seals — Google review
Cebu is known for having the best tasting Lechon. CNT used to have really good lechon although a lot of other restaurants claims they have the best. The Carcar Lechon that House of Lechon has, carries this distinct taste and aroma that the other lechon weve tasted. Rico's was ok, zobuchon was also ok. The taste was there but doesn't have the crispiness of the skin that was served by The House of Lechon. That made a whole lot of difference. The other dishes served were also good and the price was not that bad either. I just hope that they can sustain the supply and demand to cater their customers. At one time the guards apologetically had us leave since they were already out as early as 730 p.m. But then again, our visit in Cebu is not at all complete without Lechon.
Tetka Estrada — Google review
The lechon here is quite delicious, for 2 people I would order at least a 1/2lb serving. The lechon was still being served when we arrived at 8pm. When we left the restaurant at 9pm, the lechon was still available. Found the fish sinagang a bit too sour. Wouldn't recommend. The tuna belly was very tasty. There can be a short wait depending on the size of your group. It's worth it. Enjoy!

A must when in Cebu. This place served a delicious food . I highly recommend you come here lunch time, if you are here like me around 3pm, their lechon will be mostly out and the skin won’t be that crispy. Pleasant service, friendly , most attentive. Since, it was only me. I ordered 1/8 kg of spicy lechon, jackfruit salad and cup of rice. Don’t try leaving without trying the special halo halo. Highly recommended. I will be back

Great experience! Be warned that there is usually a wait to get in, understandably of course. It also takes about 20-25 minutes to receive you order, just be patient it’s worth it! They have parking, and it’s pretty easy to get to, staff are all friendly polite. The food is excellent!

The Cebu Lechon here was good, skin was crispy, meat was tender and not smelly but weird thing was we ordered first kg of lechon and it was served on small plate but the second kg was served on bigger plate with bigger portion. I wonder if my first kg of Lechon was only half kg. We came here on Tuesday around 12pm and the restaurant was full of people, we waited for about 15 minutes and got a place.

The Lechon here is definitely Very Good. JUST OBSERVE THE CROWD. Try to Go between 6 pm and 7 pm. LECHON is good only until supply lasts. Try ordering one size bigger. Ordered 1/4 kg for 2 persons... Really came out short. I should have ordered 1/2 kilo. we had the cheese sticks too . It's very good . Best rated when hot.

Their food greatly improved! (A couple of years ago, we found a maggot on their lechon, manager immediately addressed it and assured us that they will take care of us if we get sick. They even replaced our lechon.) The only setback this time around is their serving time, you can probably tell on these pictures how we were starving and I did not even have the chance to take pictures of the lechon.

First Lechon try in Philippine. The meat with the sauce is great, and the ambience is also relaxing. If you arrived late, it’s likely that the lechon is sold out, so it’s better to make a phone call to check the availability. Halo halo is also great as the traditional Filipino beverage. Worth a try.

Everything we ordered was very good! Food was seasoned well and very presentable. We were lucky to get the last serving of lechon when we got there at 6.30pm. We ordered the Special Carcar lechon, Kinilaw Fiesta Cebuana, Lechon Sisig, Utan Bisaya na may Pasayan, Baked Scallops (it's so good we ordered 2 servings). We ate everything to think there was only 3 of us 😅 We would've ordered more if we weren't too full. So much good food to choose from. Staff were attentive and patient. Nice ambience. This place is highly recommended.

Best Filipino food I’ve ever tasted. Don’t miss the cheese rolls. So addictive. I had to wait to get a table which is always a good sign. I ordered a quarter kilo of original lechon with pork belly, kangkong, garlic rice, cheese sticks, grilled pork belly, sisig and a watermelon shake. I left so satisfied. I love this place. Great to see Filipino families enjoying their food. Lovely atmosphere and top class staff. I recommend.

This is the place where locals and foreigners can safely enjoy the cebu delicacy! Their lechon is top notch!!! Also their version of lumpiang shanghai is to die for! Their service is really good too! Staffs are so respectful and very efficient! Serving time is 20min but food arrived after 10min! Perfect! Ps. Don’t get overwhelmed with the crowd, it wont affect the quality of their food.

I had so many locals recommend me the House of Lechon! When I went, there were maybe 30+ pax waiting in line and the restaurant was PACKED! It was noisy, the tables are so close side-by-side and the waiters are too slow to respond. Food was not as good as expected. Lechon was a bit chewy and greasy. If you want to try some local food, this place seems to be it… but the service, ambience, and food was really lagging.

If you are looking for a tasty lechon - this is a go-to place. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a nice table. We ordered half a kilo of non spicy and the scallops. A must visit for every locals and tourists who wants to try and enjoy Cebuano’s best served delicacies.

Great food, welcoming staff (visited twice - they were consistent). My only complaint is that the place's acoustics were so bad it was quite noisy, and the song in the annex area played on repeat for an hour straight it was driving us insane haha. Seriously though, if there's anything the place could improve on, it's the acoustics because it's so distractingly noisy.

Good service, and perhaps the “better restaurant” in the city. Portion is not huge, food is mediocre; lechon is not as good as I expected, drinks are a bit pricy. Worth a try, but remember it is more like a tourist restaurant.
W. L — Google review
Expected a lot more from a place with such a good reputation, but was immensely disappointed with the lechon itself. It was not as tender as others I had before. The dessert was alright, nothing exceptional - first time trying the sikwate and it was a bit overwhelming for me. However, the service is excellent and the waiting system using a beeper pad is helpful! Would recommend the kang kong and BBQ chorizo.

It took so long until the waiter came to us and takes our order. However, all the food we ordered were delicious. We couldn’t try everything we wanted since we were two of us, but there were many options which we thought we wanted to try out many more food! The spaces were divided into several room and the main space seemed pretty, but where we were sat was like a dining hall kind of ambiance.

Casa Verde, a beloved restaurant with origins in Cebu and now with multiple locations across the Philippines, offers an array of American culinary delights. From their famous Mighty Ton burger to the delectable Brian's ribs, Casa Verde presents a menu filled with classic American comfort food. The restaurant also boasts its signature giant milkshake called Milky Way. The ambiance is a blend of Americana and traditional Filipino decor, creating a relaxed and quirky dining experience.

This place is the nicest restaurant close to my wife's former place of employment and just a 7-minute drive from home. I've been going there since I first arrived in Cebu City, almost 16 years ago. My wife has been going there much longer. In the intervening years, their quality has varied only a little: most of the time, it's excellent. The restaurant itself has been maintained well. It's currently in the best shape I've seen it. It has a good selection of international dishes. When I have a yearning for fish and chips done right, this is my first choice. They're more famous for their bbq'd ribs, however. It's a very nice restaurant. I like it better than the other branches it operates but those are good as well. I have pictures on my phone but, unfortunately, my phone's touch screen is currently in need of replacement. I'll add the photos once the screen is repaired.

A supposed to be scrumptious meal was disappointing. The food wasn't as good as they used to be. Thought to have pasta to get rid of dinner but it was not palatable at all. My child found the Therese's pieces too loaded of batter as she can't taste the real chicken at all. The ribs was not as tender and a bit sour. It's not even served hot. I don't find it a good match for the meals to be served in plastic wares or what have they. The death by chocolate was a good complement in a way but the servers should have asked us first if we want it served already. The patio is a good outdoor dining area for social distancing. The area around the parking spaces is an eyesore. Needs thorough cleaning. The management needs to do something about it.

This is my 4th time to dine at this location. The staff is wonderful and super friendly and has been consistently every time I have eaten here (even the security guard/parking attendant). The food today was not as good as it usually is. We ordered a burger, the ribs and the karlemare. The karlemare was delicious and fresh but the bacon on the burger was super hard and the ribs were quite tough. We have had both of these things in the past at other branches but it was not nearly the same. I have ordered the burger once before at this location and I don't recall the bacon having any problems. So I think maybe it was timing but this is the second time experiencing the ribs being tough. The flavor of everything was still spot on though. I do not want to give it anything but a 5 star because it was still such a good experience. We still were full and happy by the end of our meal.

The portions are absolutely huge and as tasty as can be. The staff are very polite and helpful. It is definitely a big difference to usual Filipino sized portions. Prices are quite fair. Perched 600 meters above sea level, Top of Cebu is a newly opened restaurant that offers stunning views of Metro Cebu. Located just below the Tops Lookout, this establishment provides a serene atmosphere and fresh air for couples to enjoy. Whether you visit during the day or at night, you can expect an almost 180-degree panorama of the city. The open-air main dining area and balcony create a relaxed ambiance for patrons to savor their meals while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
Food is delicious with a good variety of local cuisines and drinks. Servers are attentive and approachable. Its located quite a distance from the city and a half day visit with Temple of Leah and other attractions in the area is recommended. Price is on the expensive side, but worth it given the prime location and amazing view of Cebu cityscape. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance - we arrived early and could request for seating by the balcony.

Before planning to go there, you must not forget to bring your jacket.😁 It's quite cold there during rainy seasons. But you will never regret that you chose to dine in Top of Cebu. You have the food and drinks for your taste buds and tummy, and you have the scenery for your eyes and soul. 😊 I really love nature and I found it relaxing and amazing coz I can have a spectacular panoramic view of the places below. We ordered Tuna Panga, Calamares, Tinolang Seafoods and Pancit de Cebu. I totally loved the Tuna Panga and the Pancit de Cebu. For me, they are definitely mouthwatering. I also like the mango sauce for the Calamares. However, we are a bit disappointed with the Tinola coz the Tanigue is not that fresh anymore but the shrimps and Tambayang (Clam Shells) are okay. They are all attentive to their customers and you're not going to starve for sure because they serve the food as quickly and efficiently as possible. We'll be back there some other time and try other dishes so I can give you more updates. 😊

This place has opened to the public too early in my opinion. The roads must be sorted out for the amount of cars that want to go here . It was a weekend when we visited and there were so many people visiting. The catering in the small pizza shop and other places to eat were so crowded and nowhere to sit . Ps the pizza was yummy 😋. We visited her some years ago and loved the place then. And I was surprised to see what is happening there . Obviously the viewing places are crowded as you can imagine and the views are fantastic as before . I suggest you come here using flat shoes because the paving near the viewing area is uneven. If they had waited a bit longer before opening again even though it is a soft opening I think the problems could be sorted out . Good luck with what you are doing there .

The place is beautiful and chilly at night must bring a sweatshirt when intending to stay long. We waited for a while due to place was full. The food was great and neutral as per taste wherein you can add flavour to the dish as desired. The price is reasonable and there is no entrance fee when dining in, just need to show the receipt at the guard house when leaving out.

The food is so delish...They serve mostly Filipino dishes and their serving is enough for 3 to 4 persons, depending on the appetite..😂...The location is overlooking the city lights which contributes to the overall ambience of the place...cozy and homey...It is highly recommended to make a prior reservation to avoid wait times as they usually get booked especially on weekends..🙂

Had a fantastic time celebrating with the newlyweds and closest friends at Top of Cebu Restaurant. The location atop the mountains of Busay offers a breathtaking view of the city. Despite the thick fog, we were still able to see the city lights and stars shining bright. The restaurant provides a romantic and serene atmosphere, perfect for special occasions. Highly recommended for those looking for a unique dining experience with a view. 🌟🌃⛰️

The view is great, seemingly humid but windy. Great food selection. Most items in the menu are Filipino-Dish based, but with a phenomenal twist. I love how creative the process of cooking there evidently is. We weren't able to take pics of the food since they seem to be begging to be eaten fresh from the oven. Hats off to the chef!

Celebrated my birthday with my wife. The place was romantic, their foods were all delicious and affordable, their staff were all friendly and accommodating! For sure will be coming back to this place. A must visit restaurant here in Cebu!

Tops of Cebu offers stunning views and a romantic dining experience but can be crowded during busy times and relatively expensive. Visitors should be prepared for the challenging access road and consider weather conditions for the best experience. Pros of Tops of Cebu: Scenic Views: Tops of Cebu provides breathtaking panoramic views of Cebu City, Mactan Island, and the surrounding landscapes, making it a popular spot for sightseeing and photography. Romantic Atmosphere: The venue is known for its romantic ambiance, making it a popular choice for couples and those seeking a romantic dining experience. Delicious Food: The restaurant at Tops of Cebu serves a range of dishes, including Filipino and international cuisine, offering a diverse culinary experience. Great for Special Occasions: The location is ideal for celebrating special occasions like anniversaries or birthdays, with its stunning backdrop and intimate setting. Cons of Tops of Cebu: Crowded During Peak Times: Due to its popularity, Tops of Cebu can get crowded during peak hours, which may result in longer wait times for a table. Challenging Access: The road leading to Tops of Cebu can be steep and winding, which may not be suitable for those prone to motion sickness or uncomfortable with heights. Pricey Dining: While the food is delicious, it can be relatively expensive compared to other dining options in Cebu, which might not suit budget-conscious travelers. Weather-Dependent: The view and overall experience can be affected by the weather, so it's advisable to check conditions before planning a visit.

Great experience in daylight but I suggest visiting TOPS from 7pm til 5am with clear skies. Foods are everywhere on the ground floor. For the meantime they are still working on the site. GCASH and PAYMAYA or BANK Transactions are not yet available, preferably bringing Cash on Hand.

Awesome view but food and service sucks. It’s so hot around lunch time. We had to keep asking for our bottled water repeatedly and it took so long to get them. They had already served us all the food and still no water!

It’s great to have meal with the magnificent view of Cebu. The food was okay, staff are friendly. However, do remember to check your bill as we found two mistakes from the bill. I would say 8 out of 10. 4 marks were from the view.

I don't have pictures of the food but I assure you they're delicious, except for the Sinigang. I'm used to super sour Sinigang, which we didn't find here in Cebu. The view is beautiful though. Too bad, it was cloudy and rainy that day.

Its still on its soft opening so dont expect too much. The city lights are still amazing. I guess their bus from it to tops is helpful but they still need to organize it a little bit better so people will not wait that long.
