Beautiful Statue & Decor honoring King Rama I, very pretty in the evening with the lighting. It's very easy to view while driving and if you're staying in Buriram it's a helpful landmark.

A must see in the evening in Buriram. I always liked the statue, but now with the lighting structures it is incredible. Once you park you have the opportunity to walk through the lights. Be careful crossing the road as there are no traffic signals. Plenty of places to get a drink or bite to eat near the King Rama Monument.

Very beautiful safe and clean place. Nice monuments and sculptures also a bright and golden place with some small water fountains. There are very good restaurants around there and food is incredible tasty and affordable

Monument dedicated to the founder of Buriram. Nice to visit of you can but you won't miss anything if u didn't. Parking around the traffic circle where the statue is located but becareful when you cross the road as it's a major thoroughfare. You can make a small donation to get a metal charm to inscribe your wishes and hang it at the base of the monument.

Historic Monument is well maintained with easy parking on one side. The lights are so beautiful in the night. Just be careful when crossing the street to get to the monument. The fountain is also working properly.

This big elephant/king monument represents the glory of King Rama I, founder of Buriram, located in the round in the center of the Buriram city. Be carefull while crossing the street to reach the round. Also you need to take off your shoes before climbing the stairs to reach the statue.

It is located in a roundabout at the entrance to the city. So be careful when crossing the road to get there. King Rama 1 is the founder of Thailand Chakri Dynasty as well as the founder of Buriram.

An amazing beatific monument, the photos do not do it justice, stop and see it, best time would be at dusk when the light shines on the glass and as the sun sets the lights of the Monument come on. There is a small vafe with outdoor seating on the northwest corner of the circle and there is parking too.

Been here on many occasions over the years since they built the racetrack in Buriram. Reliable quality pub grub and thai food. Some surprisingly good steaks as well. Service can be patchy but generally helpful when they get round to you.

I ordered a catfish salad and stir fried mix veg and both were very satisfying. The service is friendly and the owner keeps an eye on things. Cocktails are cheap but not great. There was not much else we could find on Google in terms of restaurants so we feel this is a sanctuary for foreign travellers in Buriram, especially for fans of football!

Food was decent, portions good. My girlfriend's club sandwich and chips took a very long time and arrived after we had all finished. Apparently it was a 'very difficult order' and they had to go shopping(?) No big deal. One thing that is a big deal. DO NOT PUT VINEGAR IN HP SAUCE! If its a little expensive to buy, too bad, that's why Farung come there. None of us touched it.

Ice cold beers served before the recent restrictions. Now I've taken the time to enjoy the Beef Steak and potatoes. Very personable women bartenders, and a real good friendly vibe. I miss the live music, but I sure will return.

Just had a breakfast at the Bamboo Bar well worth the visit food was great and Inexpensive good location, was told that it is one of the oldest bars in Buriam. I had a full breakfast to include two eggs two sausages two Bacon beans tomato’s and two toast coffee orange juice which was approximately ฿200

Great views and very peaceful place. Lots of steps to climb if your feeling energetic, otherwise there is a carpark at the top 😉

So you can climb up the 297 very steep steps and enjoy the feeling you did a decent workout getting as an award a breath taking view over Buriram and its racetrack and football stadium or you pay 20 baht for a baht taxi to get You up.

Fantastic place to visit! Right now is volcano festival. A must see.

A lovely nature, a good place for hiking, at the top you will visit Wat Khao Kradong, a Buddhist temple and statue and also the opening of Kradong volcano which is not an active volcano.

A quiet place with a nice view at the top. Can you climb 300 steps? If not there are tricks for hire.

Beautiful place to visit,very scenic with lots of food and drinks available. Great views at the top of the volcanoe across buriram,with the chang arena and race track visible in the distance. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Took my mum to this place for the first time here. Over +300 steps to the temple and we didn’t know that you can drive up there lol🤣 But all is good, I’m glad to have my mum do a long walk workout for a bit. The view would have been so much better if the PM2.5 wasn’t there.

The Khao Kradong Forest Park is a recreational area and it is a location of the ancient volcano that are still clearly shows traces of the crater, it looks like a deep basin which can walk and study the volcanic rocks, The highest peak is about 265 meters above sea level.

I was surprised to see there was a narrow paved road ( one way) to get you to the various sites located on this steep hill. (or you can hike to the lookout point and “volcanic lake”). It is definitely worth a visit. It is nice to see the grounds well maintained.

It was such a tranquil place to visit. The steps are difficult if you have mobility problems. But there is a mini bus to help you get to the top. Please remember it is a holy place so please be discrete long shorts only for men n no vests .ladies take scarfs n a sarong. Because you may not be allowed into some of the most beautiful areas.

Could be cleaner so minus 1 star. Good selection of local foods and fresh provisions and dry goods. I go because there is one auntie that dishes out some of the best Khao Soi I have eaten. Khao Soi is a popular Thai dish of yellow curry noodles in a coconut milk sauce, topped with crispy noodles, shallots, pickled mustard greens, and ground peanuts. Recommended

Fascinating to a foreigner but every day life for locals. Freshly made food for delicious takeaway meals. Could be a little better organised but worth a look.

In fact I been there for the race, not for visiting this city. So, now I know and I can say the city is really "ugly". Temples are isan style with almost concrete structures. I saw 2 night bar and one night market. In one day with bicycle it's enough to see all because the city is small. One good idea about this city, people are very nice and kind.

There was open at evening time on Sunday.

Very quite. thin crust pizza. Had x2 8 inch pizzas .very tasty. Excellent. Plenty of parking spaces. Google maps accurate.

Delicious, fresh and lightly crispy pizza. We had the pizza with a mixed salad. The two items together were a perfect lunch for a couple. We sat outside near the pool which is a lovely spot. It was a a highly enjoyable lunch. Sorry didn't take a photo.

The very best thin crust pizza we have eaten in 2020 in Buriram. The Dutch expat owner and his wife have done a fabulous job in his 2nd location in Buriram. My son's also enjoy the pasta and like to eat by the clean swimming pool. Staff make sure this restaurant has very clean restrooms. Not far from the Buritel Hotel. Well worth it for Pizza, Pasta and lamb chops.

In Nov 2022, I went for dinner and most of the sitting area was closed. They were open one section with air conditioning but still quite hot. Pizza was super thin and taste OK. The service was lowered than my expectations.

Down a side road, easily found through google maps. Plenty of parking. Nice basic but comfortable and spacious interior with an exterior area too. Pizza was better than I expected. You cant expect too much around here when dining for western options I’ve found. Best of three pizzas I’ve tried in Buriram. Meatlovers.

2nd visit and disappointing. Had Sunday roast (lamb) - the meat was average, the veges overcooked and mushy. Thanks also to the boofhead who was effing and blinding non-stop at the top of his voice from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. A very relaxing lunch, not!

Just popped in for some food on 2 afternoons. Nice clean quiet place. Good quality food and the big English breakfast was the best I’ve had in Thailand. Fried bread and toast with a butter knife. Menu looks good and reasonable prices. Friendly patrons and owner. Top draw !!

The Thai food we had there was really not very good. Some of the English dishes were okay though. And this restaurant holds the record of fastest Wi-Fi ever.

Steak was good. Granddaughter ate all her meal. Which was salad and rice. Friendly staff.

I visited the restaurant to survey on it, asked the waiter at which time the restaurant close. And the answer is 9pm, fine. I asked her to affirm it will be close on 9pm. She does so. However, when I arrived at 8pm, the restaurant close. I'm not sure if restaurant's owner just had enough, or the waiter just lied. But I'm quite disappointed. Anyway, restaurant is up for sale. So I'm a bit not surprise.

Manager steals from customers, he said that i gave 500 even if i gave 1000. From me it was only 500 that he stole. Probably he steals more from customers when they get drunk. Forign customers act rude to thai customers but the manager doesnt care. Will not go back again. Will not recommend to anyone.

Even in deepest darkest Buriram you can find a decent Sunday roast. Good friendly staff. A pleasure to visit.

Service great but Beer served not the coldest on all occasions, ask for cold beer but offered ice i my glass. Best is beer was on ice, not ice in beer. Cold Beer get my positive review and they did not serve all night.

Sunday Roast is a real treat living in Isaan. The restaurant is clean and Jimmy should be proud of his team. The food is authentic and prices more than fair.

I visited Jimmys cafe this week for the first time as I was spending 3 days in buriram. I had the large full English breakfast (just like at home) it was excellent and very reasonably priced. If you’re in buriram and fancy a full English in aircon or on the terrace I recommend you give this place a try….

Freshly made Italian food from the chef. House wine and bread was awesome. The pastas were nice. Lasagnas a bit stale, but edible. Huge portions!

For a real authentic Italian lunch or dinner this is my favorite restaurant in Buriram. They owner/chef takes your food orders and his waitress serves up addictive warm bread, The salads, pasta and beverages are well worth the money. Real nice vibe.

Amazing Italian restaurant !!! The ambiance, the food and the chef, the Italians dishes are really an Italian high quality cuisine. So delicious and typically Italian, looks like you are in Italy inside a trattoria, great experience but we missed to went back again during our trip as promised, ( we left our half bottle of wine there) we will go back for sure. I never found such top quality food and ambiance, my wife and I were so happy, highly recommended, you can’t be disappointed ( I am 50% Italian 50% French)

A small but cozy place. The owner and his three ladies offer excellent service. Even when it's full, they try to sweeten the waiting time. With fresh hot bread or olives and finally a grappa as a thank you for having to wait so long. but we hadn't made a reservation and it was saturday. the menu is extensive. The Pizza Tonno stands out. But all what we order are yummy. Keep it up. We'd love to come back

The meals are amazing and at an affordable menu price. The owner, Vincento, and his waitresses really try to make you feel special. How could you not LOVE an Italian restaurant with never ending fresh baked bread. The cheese and cut deli meats are a real treat. The air conditioner might need service, but everything out of the kitchen is top grade.

Osteria is an Italian restaurant that does not only serve great pizza but other traditional Italian dishes too - which is not really common up here in Buriram. They do have a pizza buffet on Fridays which they should advertise a bit more. I had a generous slice of pizza that came complimentary, then some cold cuts as antipasti which were good. Antipasti could have had a bit more of variety though. As main I had tortellini and for dessert I wanted to sample the Tiramisu but unfortunately he didn't have any. So some icecream did the job.

Update from 2.2.2022 Still the same Quality of delicious Food Delicious Food, nice Staff and a lovely Owner has created us a special Starter Plate, super Pasta and a great Pizza. Was a pleasure to meet these Guys, thanks a lot.
