Telaga Warna, also known as Lake Colour, is a small lake nestled in the Inland Hill area surrounded by lush forested mountains. It's located in North Tugu Village, Cisarua Sub District, approximately 39 km from Bogor.

Nice place to visit around Puncak, bogor. You can go to the location by motorcycle. Avoid to come on the weekend because the traffic jam. The entry fee is cheap. You can rent a boat to sightseeing around the small lake with a little bit high price. Rp.100.000. There are an outbound or homestay on the lakeside. There are monkeys that stay in this area. Be careful of your foods and belongings. haha.

I had high hopes that the "lake" was big but in the reality, it just like a small pond.. They said, there has been a lot of changes, a resort, a restaurant (which I think it makes less natural).. Too bad...

Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor is a safari park that houses animals from 5 continents and offers separate day and night excursions. Visitors can interact with wild animals, take pictures with them, and even ride some of them. The upscale zoo provides a unique experience of observing wild animals from the comfort of a car or bus.
A very recommended place to visit with your kids. The largest zoo in Indonesia. They have so many various of animals, almost all animals.
They also provide many kind of amusement park for kids to play. The ticket is not expensive with all the facilities that we got.
This place is also very clean, fresh and cool air. So many beautiful views and beautiful animals. And you can find foods easily. A bit pricey but still normal in recreation area.

Being an Aussie, of course Indonesia is a regular! My whole trip to Indonesia is around visiting Taman safari - feeding the lions, swimming with the dolphins, being close to orangutan’s is an amazing experience. I hope that animals are looked after. You have to get here as soon as it opens..we travel from Jakarta so take the taxi in super early to beat the traffic too. What a great place to visit.
A must go when at Bogor. The Safari is larger than I thought and it really takes more than a day to see the whole area without rushing, have enough time to see the animals, read, learn, take nice pictures and enjoy at the fun attractions.
A place that can be visited more than once!
There are several shows that require serious planning so that you can watch them and visit the nearby animals.
A highlight is that you can drive your own car through the Safari to be up close with animals like in African plains. This include lions and tigers. Although they say no feeding, it seems ok to buy carrots along the way as your drive toward Taman Safari.
This is the best trip that I did in poncak. The entrance looks like to be high but you will get a full day activities there. Amazed with open safari, the internal games, the showes specially cowboy which is the best thing to see and never miss it. Overall, it is a must do.
It's good place for kids to have experience with animal. They can feed the animal and also have lot of activities for kids, like as ride the animal or playground area. But, we didn't go all activities because the weather wasn't good. I just want to give little bit opinion. Maybe you should put some employee in every spot where is have animal to feed. Because even you put sign to don't get out of the car, but still have 'naughty' visitors get out of from the car.
The place at Zoo was a great experience ,my kids enjoyed a lot ,we booked a bungalow and we paid xtra 300 rupees just to have a new villa but unfortunately the bungalow was disaster, full of humidity, the bed and the blanket smells very bad no one is answering in the reception to change that ,in the next day we had the breakfast was very less choice for us ,anyway when I went to reception the girl there was very rude and not respectful at all . All in all it was a really bad experience to sleep there. I advise you only to visit the safari without booking a night there as they have very poor maintenance and hygiene
Very comfortable, safe and very child-friendly here. Children can enjoy many educational rides and animal shows. The place is shady, comfortable, clean, even the employees are very friendly, polite and kind. It never gets bored and is one of the best destinations for holidays with family or office outings.
We waited when we went there as it was a bit early and everyone was waiting for it to open.

Upscale zoo with unique experience seeing wild animals from car/bus. Though the ticket was expensive but it was all worth it. The location was clean, the animals were healthy and active, no smoking around restaurants, chill weather, calming and relaxing ambience, also proffesional staffs. Been here like many times since I was a child until today I have my own children, and they loved it too. Best visit when it was not peak season.

Amazing safari! So many different varieties and species. Whole park is kept very clean. Staff are helpful and friendly too! Ride up to see the Pandas was too bumpy. Need to fix the road.
Taman Safari Indonesia at Bogor is a great place to visit with your families especially kids. Here we can learn so much about life, animals, trees while enjoying the fresh air and sceneries. This place is huge, 8 hours won't enough to visit all of the attractions, theme parks, and shows. This place is very popular especially for the cute pandas. Very recommended to visit here at weekdays to avoid getting overcrowded at the weekends.
Well design theme park, with many clean toilet and parking spaces. Great variations of animal also. Little input, need more information when you sightseeing animal in your ride.

The safari is excellent. You can get good food in the park and also you can carry your own food.

Amazing experience to bring my daughter here for the second time. She was very excited to see animals, such lions, tigers and elephants.
We even joined the show for tigers, sea lions and dolphins. Sea lions show was the most great experience for us. They explained very details and the keeper interacted with audience so well. Well done!
Maybe it's because I went there on weekdays.. Not too crowded thus making it an enjoyable moments.
Highly advise to stay the night before at safari resort, not only to have you visit to safari park started early in the morning, but also to take advantage of the lucrative discounts for the park entry and rides that's exclusive to hotel guests.

Curug 7 Cilember is a popular destination nestled in a lush, tranquil forest, offering access to seven beautiful waterfalls through hiking. The road leading to the site is narrow and can be stressful to drive on. While the butterfly sanctuary could use some maintenance, visitors can still enjoy various activities such as trekking, souvenir shopping, and indulging in local food at the entrance area.

Most beautiful waterfall in Indonesia. Easy to travel. Best time to visit December to April.
Good place. Road access is a narrow road and quite stressful driving there. Butterfly sanctuary needs more maintenance and improvement. I only noticed several butterflies and not enough in numbers. The rest is just a trekking into the jungle to find waterfalls. In entrance area you could find many souvenir kiosks. Some food stalls. And some play area like flying fox. Shooting game. Bow and arrow game. Bicycle on rope. Rabbit mini park. Rabbit satay. And even rabbit fur key chain.
A beautiful place that is very well cared for. I trekked to the 2 lower falls with the use of trekking poles. Having recently had a knee operation I needed to stop frequently but it was worth it. For the brave hearted, there is a cycle ride across the gorge.

Cilember Waterfall is a stunning destination nestled in a lush tropical forest, home to long-tailed monkeys. The area boasts several trails, viewpoints and campsites for the adventurous traveler. Visitors can marvel at over five waterfalls but may only have time to see two of them during their visit. Unfortunately, some visitors are irresponsible with littering, so it is hoped that people will become more responsible while visiting this amazing natural wonder.
Tickets are 75k. The guy at the desk won’t ask you if you want a tour guide but will charge you 400k for it. You need to specifically tell them you don’t want a guide. The route is fairly easy anyway so you don’t need one.

Pretty crowded even though I went there super early. Quite steep and slippery, so be really careful. However, such a breathtaking sight and a fun experience afterall.
Great waterfall, but avoid the crowd during weekends, holidays, and peakhours, best time to enter at openingtime at 8am
Beautiful waterfall and amazing view as you walk to it. If you don’t have immaculate fitness don’t try to see other waterfall as the walk up is beyond exhausting I had to stop and return after a while
There are 7 waterfall that you can visit to this place. The entry ticket is 25k, for the nearest waterfall you only need 15 minutes walking with the easy route, but the other you may need more extra effort since the route is more difficult.
The place is very natural, nice, and clean. The water is extremelly clear even at entrance gate.
Ticket price had been include with the food which cost 50K (25K for foods that we can choose freely). Its fair price because the sightseeing is very worth and its okay to help the seller during this pandemic.
The place has 6 waterfalls (the closest one is 7) after that we must hiking for about 30 minutes to reach waterfall 5. I suggest you read the map before take the hiking.
Cilember waterfall is one of the "most visit" tourist attraction if you go to cisarua,apart from its strategic location (just 20 minutes drive from the ciawi-puncak main road) the scenery , ambience and atmosphere along the way to the main waterfall is really great. My suggestion if you want to come here , avoid going here on the weekends because it will get very crowded and take a little exercise before going here cause the track to the last waterfall / curug is quite steep and long.
It is beyond my expectation. Very worth visiting especially if you are fit and have plenty of time to explore this. In this pandemic, they only offer a 50k rupiah package ticket (including food), the regular ticket should be only 25k (without food). Even though there are already many decoration but you still can feel the authentic nature by hiking farther.
There are more than 5 waterfalls there 😮 but i only managed to visit 2 waterfall because i visited this at 2 pm. You can also see monkeys there. But unfortunately there are still irresponsible visitor who litter. I hope we can be more responsible and there could be a security/guide in some points.
What a nice nice nice place to enjoy! I can say it's a heaven. The air's so fresh and the water's clear. You can camp here or rent a villa near the waterfall. This place also has many facilities like flying fox, hobbit house, etc. Can't wait to visit it again one day.
Huge parking lot before the entryway. The ticket is affordable on the weekend. It's a place for a big family who wants to feel the mother nature into the woods. Highly recommended place to visit. And don't forget to use slippers on the rocky way through waterfall on the hill.

It is also the highest mountain peak of an island on Earth, the highest mountain peak on the continent of Australia-New Guinea, and the highest mountain peak in Oceania. The standard route to climb the peak from its base camp is up the north face and along the summit ridge, which is all hard rock surface. Despite the large mine, the area is highly inaccessible to hikers and the general public. The standard route to access base camp as of 2013 is to fly into the nearest major town with an airport, Timika, and then take a small aircraft over the mountain range and onto an unimproved runway at one of the local villages far down from the peak. It is then typically a five-day hike via the Jungle route to the base camp through very dense rainforest and with regular rainfall, making the approach probably the "most miserable" of the Seven Summits. Rain during most days of the hike inbound and out are not uncommon. Unlike the other Seven Summits, if one sustains an injury on the inbound hike, there is little or no ability to get rescued via helicopter. The closest place for recreation for Jakarta residents is that it has cool temperatures, beautiful views and many tourist destinations. There is 'Taman Wisata Matahari', 'Taman Safari', Gunung Mas Agrotourism, Nicole's River Park, The Ranch, Dairyland Riverside, Warpat, and many others. Suitable for refreshing on the weekend after tiring work. Enjoy Puncak!

Actually this location is very beautiful and pleasant, and also the temperature is cold, but the extraordinary traffic jams can cause you frustration. But overall ok.
Other than cooling weather, I'm not sure what to do here. It's always jam, and going up and down from Puncak has single direction traffic control. The timetable is announced through official channel, and there is no fixed timetable.
Only recommend this place if want to enjoy cooling weather.

It is located in Bogor peak it is close to Cimory Riverside. the place is very beautiful. The weather is cold at 10 am. Facility there are clean restroom, wide parking area, complete food stall, a place for family gatherings and for taking selfies at the location. like to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views of the peak. I like the natural atmosphere with lots of lush tea plantations.I don't like the cleanliness of the rubbish in the area at the location.I hate people dating around the peak,when I'm alone even with friends who are with their girlfriends.
Cool, crowded visitors, and still has always been a tourist fun and interesting. Even here is the rain city, it never makes me boring to go to this place. It always has many interesting views and also best spot to take a picture.
Fresh air, green environment, a great place to relax, especially if you can rent one of the villas here, not hotel.
You can find many shops here, from merchandise to places to eat. From snacks, such as roasted corn to heavy meal, such as satay. You can find food stalls on the road side to big restaurants with beautiful view. Bacuse shops are literally everywhere, you can find trash on every corner, because of the lack of trash bin.
The traffic jammed on weekend and holiday, so I recommend to get here on weekdays and stay for the weekend.

It’s one kind of hill , for hiking to hill it’s can select and you can get flavor of village side . Can go by car outstanding nature ..
I came here when it was dusk time so the view wasn’t really clear. My suggestion for you, if you use motorcycle to get here, wear your jacket, cause I was forgetting my jacket so I felt so cold. 😂 the temperature on “puncak” is around 15-20c degrees.

The food was overpriced and tasted horrible. I ordered spaghetti carbonara and the crouton tasted like aged in kitchen, so awful i almost vomited. Also order fish and chips, the breadcrumbs for the fish also seems like the old one and not fresh. Even for fried beehoon the vegetables used also not fresh. Will never go back to this restaurant. It costs me more than 200k for only those 3 menus. The restaurant area also seemed not get cleaned regularly, i need to ask the staff to clean the desk and the floor. The only good thing abt this place was their friendly staff and good view.
The view is amazing in the morning. The food (breakfast) is quite good. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are a lot of baby chairs available. I love it for children-friendly 😊

this place has both restaurant, and shopping area. the restaurant has indoor and outdoor area. as the name might suggest, you'll have mountain view on the outdoor part. but in my case, it was quite foggy and rainy when i was there so you couldn't see the mountain clearly. for the food, i tried the fried rice. it was delicious, but i still think it's overpriced.
the shopping area has all of the cimory's products: fresh milk, yogurt, chocolate, cake, merchandise, etc. aside from their own products, they also sell local snacks like various types of chips. i personally always buy their milk if i got to visit any cimory's store. my favorite flavors are banana and chocolate.

Good place in evening to hv dinner with various menus and good drinks. Best view with the light of houses on the mountain ahead us. Good place to go.
Good place to buy chimory products and it has restaurant inside and downstairs it provides kids playground. Kids love to play there and it's free and sorry the photos were taken at night. After a few years, it hasn't been changed.

The food was good.. it took quite long time to prepare the food til it came out to our table, and we are not in a hurry so still ok. The view was good but flies around our table was quite annoying.
This Sunda food place was good. The taste of the food was just like expected.
We were sitting next to the river. The sound of water hitting the rocks was really relaxing. The bad part was the waiting time. This took over 1 hour nearly 2 hours. Thats why the rating 4 3 4. They were understaffed on a saturday.
Three days ago i went to this restaurant to have lunch with my family and this place was beautiful it felt so peaceful and calm because it's not too crowded. The food is good i would rate it 8/10 because the fried rice is unique and you rarely find it in normal restaurant. I would recommend this place for lunch because i think it's too heavy for breakfast and too cold for dinner.
The outdoor view is nice. Many trees and flowers. Good for photo. The meal is so so. The karedok is ok. The liwet package is so so, the fried chicken is kind hard to chew, similar as served in to pecel ayam booth. When paying, only receive cash, cannot credit nor debit card.

strategic location on side of the road, making it easier for us who are tired and hungry when facing traffic jams to find the location of this restaurant. The taste of the food is not really soecial, we order such liwet rice, goat satay, grilled chicken and karedok. Sadly the place wasn't clean.
The food wasn't great too.
There was a thin plastic in my glass.
And my tea cup wasn't cleaned properly,
there was a sugar bag in there.
