Norton Museum of Art is a world-famous art museum located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The museum has a collection of over 5,000 pieces of art from various periods and styles, including paintings by American artists such as Pollock and Hopper as well as European masters such as Monet and Picasso. There are also rotating exhibits and special lecture nights that allow visitors to learn more about the works on display.
Enjoyed visiting, super modern yet many of the displays are From the old age. The integration of the 2 is great. The museum consists of 3 floors serviced by a huge elevator and a nicely decorated staircase. The also have a restaurant and a boutique shop. I mostly enjoyed the Asian artifacts.

The Norton museum has to be one of the best art museums here in South Florida, they greeted us and had complimentary masks up front which are still required but it’s ok. Not that many people where there it was a very calm and quiet museum. The art was super versatile there was more modern art and then more remote art. There was also a couple sculptures and generally a good museum to roam around 🙂

The best museum experience I've had in Florida so far. From the exhibits to the restaurant everything was excellent(it is expensive though). Huge variety of artwork and an enormous space. All the exhibitions were impressive. We started at 12pm and finished at closing (5pm). All the staff were super nice.

Came to this place last week and I was amazed of how big the place is. Three story building with art everywhere. And a decent size outside garden with different art installations. And if you get hungry while visiting they have a restaurant inside the building. I’ve never seen paintings so old and beautifully well kept that yes you get the feeling of I want to touch it but no do not touch any of the art pieces. I would definitely come back with friends and family. And also one thing of note they have metal detectors walking inside, so if you conceal carry like I do just leave it in your vehicle. I seen them detectors and I did a quick 180 to my car. Other than that please enjoy yourselves

I would give it a five but do-to the day at the end of my review I can only give it a 4 star. The second attempt to go to the museum was great. We love the museum and the Dale display is out of this world. I could just stare at it forever. Would definitely go to this museum again First attempt (I put a day aside to go to the museum with my kids. Did not know that you had to show proof of vaccine even though we are wear masks. Waste of one of our spring break days)

My toddler and I had a fantastic time. Amazing rare art by some of the most famous artists and amazing local artists, including families from the family art workshop! We got to join the program while we were there and had a blast. I haven't made art since many years and it sparked so much joy in me especially to share that moment with my child. When they shared with the group the art we made, he was beaming and it was awesome to have that moment. The volunteers, security and staff where so nice and the teacher leading the art class was so encouraging and everyone was so welcoming.

This museum has been beautifully renovated and there are so many wonderful things to see. I would have given it 5 stars, but there was a 200 foot walk to the handicap parking lot for my handicapped mother. The Norton is not handicap friendly for that reason alone, which is a shame. Other than that, it is a great place to visit.

This is one of the coolest museums I’ve been to in Florida. My friends live in West Palm Beach and had never visited this museum so since I was here for the weekend and we are all suckers for art and a good museum we decided to swing by. The $18 admission was a steal considering how much we enjoyed walking this joint. They have some serious art in there from some of the best artists to have ever walked this earth as well as some fun pieces that are eye catching. May not look big from the outside but there are 3 floors of incredible art. This is a nice fun activity if you’re visiting West Palm and it’s also close to a lot of restaurants.

Fairly large, varied collection that includes Monet, Picasso, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Haring, and Basquiat. We found street parking for free adjacent to the museum's lot. Student tickets are only $5 which is nice.

We attended during school break. There are a number of opportunities to get in Free and this was one of them. Uniquely to this week was a sketch book with colored pencils and a pouch to put them in for the kids. My kids really enjoyed them. For the kids there is a new VR experience that was fantastic! It made my daughter interact with the art and when she completed the tasks she wanted to use my phone to take pictures of everything... So I have a ton of from the perspective of a 6 year old pictures attached... Enjoy!

Norton is a beautiful museum. It has 3 floors of art that displays many forms of artistic modern, contemporary and old European pieces. This museum holds special events especially on Friday with extended hours until 10pm. For us, it was a jazz concert dedicated to women in jazz and it was all included in the price of admission. In addition there are special exhibitions displaying a featured artist but for an additional entrance fee. Speaking of fee, there is nominal fee for museum entry that does offer discounts. But well worth it. Each floor has something to offer any art enthusiast. This museum has all kinds of services like classes, tours, a gift shop to a restaurant, kind of high end, limited menu, but good food and decent service. Surprisingly, this restaurant was very popular and our night required reservations, so keep that in mind. There is also an outdoor garden displaying sculptures, somewhat provocative (you'll see what I mean) and a nice garden as well. Overall it is a excellent place to visit for the whole family.

Went on Juneteenth after many years and found a much better museum, with a lot of interesting pieces of art, clean, and very organized. We will need to go back to finish seeing it all, also because that day they had some shows (Gospel for instance) and extra exhibitions, so we couldn’t see the whole thing. I really liked the European section, especially the Impressionism paintings and they had some pieces from very famous painters. Like I said, nothing like what it was 20 years ago, when it took us probably 7 minutes to see the whole place. The American section had also very fine paintings, but we didn’t complete it (we read all the explanations by the paintings so we take our time) and will go back for that and the Chinese part. It really is worth visiting also because we don’t have much in terms of fine arts in PBC. By the way, until September the 4th, on Saturday, PBC residents go in for free (regular ticket $18), so it’s a good opportunity to give it a chance, stay out of the heat for a few hours and nearby you have some good eateries without going to Clematis-City Place. There’s a great Asian restaurant, Joy’s Noodles and two BBQ places, tropical Smokehouse (very good) and Pig Beach (still have to go). All are on Dixie Hwy near the museum. On Kanuga street, if you take it from Dixie and go west to the very end you can chill and enjoy some good IPA’s at Civil Society brewery, very laid back, good beer and you can take your dog if you wish. Parking for the museum is across the street, $ 5.

This museum was a pleasant surprise! I thought it would be a small museum with local artists but was so surprised when I found out it had a Monet exhibit and many Picasso pieces!! Also an extensive Chinese collection and Rococo 16 century collection. We had a BLAST exploring all the floors!!!!

My girls had a great time. Playing in the garden, doing craft activities, viewing and sketching art. We spent about 4hrs. Which was the right amount of time for their attention span. Looking forward to visit again.
Alicia Griffiths — Google review
Wow— this is a well rounded collection of permanent paintings and sculptures of many different artists, genres and time periods. You could spend 3-4 hours here at minimum, more if you enjoyed a meal at the outdoor cafe. We also enjoyed the sculpture garden, where greenery compliments the sculptures. We also visited the Impressionist exhibit of some fairly rare and unseen paintings. I found the works unusual and colorful, ranging from interesting portraits to abstract but colorful landscapes. The gift shop has a nice selection of jewelry and colorful and unique tchotchkes. The only snag is the parking across the street. The parking lot has plenty of spaces, but the payment kiosk didn’t function properly. When I told the front desk they said not to worry about it. Overall this is a must see museum for art lovers— would make a great date!

Great works of art. Beautiful venue to hang out and enjoy the day. Spacious and easy to get around. Perfect size museum if you want to spend 2-3 hours to view the entire collection. Modern collection was tiny. But happy to see some terrific works from leading pop artist. It would be great if they expand the modern collection. They might get more visitors 😉

Awesome museum- love the combination of classical art with modern pieces. The restaurant was great to grab a snack and eat outside by the fountain. So many amazing pieces. I would plan to spend about about 2-3 hours here.

Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is a large zoo in West Palm Beach, Florida. It is home to over 700 different animals from all over the world, including some of the rarest and most popular ones. The zoo has a variety of exhibits, including a rainforest section and a permanent exhibit on Florida wildlife. Kids will love the interactive fountain in the center of the zoo, and parents can appreciate all of the educational programs that are offered throughout the year.
Update on 1-3-22: I went back when it wasn't so crowded (you were right; winter break was the reason). The animals were very active and I was able to see more of them this time. The zoo staff gives informational talks about the animals outside their enclosure which is a nice touch. I had a very pleasant experience. I will be back again 12-27-21:It's crowded. Kinda small. Monkeys were far away on their island so couldn't see them too well. The tiger was out so I got to see him walk by a few times. The birds and reptiles were plentiful and colorful so that was fun to see. There's a splash pad and playground for kids to play on so that was cool. It's was an OK zoo.
Laura Dumitras — Google review
It’s a decent zoo,it’s not too big. There is a splash pad by the entrance. As hot as it is it definitely is a treat. We explored the vicinity in our wet clothes so it wasn’t as hot. I like how each exhibit discusses where the animal is from, the age and most of them are named. Most of these animals are rescues or were born in this facility. The whole place is well kept. There is a gift shop similar to most overpriced gift shops. The food is ok. You can bring your own. I packed fruits and water for my troop. There is a special going on until 7/31/23 ( 2 kids in free with a paying adult) there is an age limit though. Overall this is a nice place and I would be back again.

The zoo was small but worth a trip there. They have a variety of animals, mostly small, which is appropriate for their size. Tiger, Florida panther, and of course, crocs! We did a special visit (extra cost) with the Otters, behind the scenes, and you get no contact feeding. Was fun! Fountain for kids to play in. Wheelchair accessible to main zoo. Restrooms, vending, gift shop. The staff was great and very helpful and informative.

Weather was perfect! Animals were out and about. The zoo is well maintained. All the animals have large spaces to live in and enclosures for protection when needed. They all looked well cared. I was pleasantly surprised compared to the zoo I went in the '80s.

Had the best day there! Saw so many animals. My favs were the Koalas and tiger! We had lunch there as well. Best burgers ever! Friendly staff. So much to see! A definite for the kids. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Florida.

This is a beautiful zoo. We went on a Tuesday around midday. There are a wide variety of animals to see. The grounds are lovely. The staff are very friendly and can answer questions about the animals. The food prices are quite high, so try to pack snacks to eat in designated places.

Great place to visit! I'm a local Floridian but hadn't been to this particular zoo. Brought the whole family for just shy of 2 hours which was plenty. Crowds weren't too heavy but the heat (early July) was hot! The entrance of the park has a large children's area with splash Park and all of the trails start there and are named according to their animal origins. Very clean place and tons of different animals to visit. I would go again for sure. They have several larger cat species that were very cool to see. Parking wasn't an issue for us but I could see larger trucks or vans having a tight fit. Very easy to find by taking southern Blvd exit 68 east off of North bound i95.

Took an amazing tour today at The Palm Beach Zoo. Brittany, Mike, & Amy were absolutely delightful. Their energy was unlike any other! You can tell how passionate they all are about the animals. They made us feel truly blessed. Incredibly thankful for their endless knowledge & their excitement. This is the best behind the scenes tour I have ever done anywhere. They took their time & answered all our questions. They got to know us & made us feel extra special. It was enchanting to meet you all! Thank you so much!!!

A nice little zoo to visit. The pricing is not really reasonable for the few amount of animals and exhibits. For 2 adults I paid 58 with tax, my toddler was free. Was not at all crowded. The restaurant was closed, the stands with concessions was also closed not sure if due to it not being busy or what the reason. Plenty of parking available. They have a nice splash area for kids right as you come in. The exhibits were nice but it seems like the animals also went on spring break 😅. It's worth a visit but there are betters zoos for the same or better pricing especially for going on a weekday and getting tickets online to save.

So awesome! Definitely the best zoo we’ve been to in Florida thus far. Being New Yorkers, we visit Jupiter and Singer Island a couple times a year. We’re always up for new adventures that aren’t too far away. This was an excellent zoo! We had a blast :)

A great Zoo, easy to get too, plenty of great animals to see, and enough walking but not where you will be dead tired after seeing the full experience. Water area, play area, and carousel for kids as well. Cool experiences available too. We fed the lorikeets and had a lot of fun. An annual pass is worth the cost if you go at least twice

This was my very first time bringing my 2 kids to the Palm Beach Zoo. The weather was not great but it was not pouring rain luckily. We were able to see most of the animals and the kids were free admission, I have a 6 year old and 7 month old. We went on a Saturday around 11ish we got there and left around 2:00 p.m. Even though it was raining off and on, we still had a nice time and the kids enjoyed it. They had a carousel ride, nice gift shop, and splash pad for the kids. I would love to definitely go again I only paid admission for myself for one adult which was about $27 and they had a promotion for kids to get in free from June 1st to July 31st. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely love to go again!

Had a good time here. Bring your snacks! Water was $6 for a 12oz. Fairly clean. Activities for the kids. A push available for pay for the little ones. The pathway was easy to maneuver. The water spray park was hood for the kids to cool off. There are bears, jaguars, alligators, turtles, flamingos. No giraffes or elephants or rhinos. But the kids had a good time. We were grateful for the kid free with paying adults.

Such a great day!! Didn’t know what to expect heading in and ended up spending hours there! Lots of unique animals like anteaters and capybara and koala. We lucked out seeing lots of activity too. Spur of the moment ended up doing the Tortoise Encounter!! Lots of time petting, learning and taking “shellfies” Appreciated the military discount too!

I grew up at a time when theme parks did not exist in Florida. Mom took us to many attractions on our summer vacations and school days off. I loved going to Miami Seaquarium, Crandon Park Zoo, Monkey Jungle, Parrot Jungle, Pirates World and many other popular attractions around the state at the time. I learned about many species of wildlife from these trips and grew up to respect the role they played in our fragile ecosystem. I visited Palm Beach Zoo when it was named Dreher Park Zoo back in the day. I took my son there many times. It was easy to get to off I95, reasonably priced, clean and had many wonderful, well maintained exhibits. I walked in with my son, daughter in law and 20 month old grandson hoping to enjoy the same experience. We went on an overcast Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m., the park closed at 5, plenty of time to see everything and not too hot or crowded. I pre purchased the tickets online: 2 adults and 1 senior came to $106.85. My grandson was 'free'. Wow! Sticker shock but somewhat expected given the economy. We checked in and it was a very easy process. We rented a safari wagon for our little one. It was a reasonable $3 but they didn't accept cash. We had to use a credit card to pay. A large splash pad is located at the entrance and many children were enjoying this water feature. We didn't have a change of clothes and/or towels for our waterbug and he was quite upset he couldn't frolic with them so we rolled quickly past to begin the zoo journey. (I did wonder if the recycled water shooting up in their innocent little faces was chlorinated. It looked like a superspreader event with many bulging diapers.) As we worked our way through each area, I noted many of the animal exhibits I remembered from back when were gone. The few animals they had looked cared for and healthy but the overall vibe was depressing. I saw only a few zoo staff members who looked busy but did not interact with the customers. Note: different animal encounters are available but you are charged extra $$$ and participants age is limited. We went to the lorikeet exhibit. They sold small cups of nectar ($2 for 1, $5 for 3) but when we got there they were feeding them big bowls of it. They warned us the birds wouldn't come to us and to save our $$. It was around 4 p.m. They were right. The birds could care less if we were holding their nectar treat. The carousel was nice and again, credit or debit card only. No cash is accepted in the park. We gradually made our way out. I left with new memories but also a greater appreciation of what we were so fortunate to have had experienced in better times.

This is our 2nd year of membership. We love this zoo. It has a nice assortment of animals and offers fun interactive packages with some of the more popular animals. There is plenty of tree cover so even in the middle of the summer, it's never too hot. All the employees and volunteers are always pleasant and willing to share each animals special story. It's a great family activity or simply a nice place to take a walk.
Kelly Callahan — Google review
I come from a state that has a free zoo so I was totally surprised at the cost. $148.00 for 4 adults. Still, I give it a four-star because it's very well set up for viewing a wide range of animals in natural settings. They also had areas for children to play and use some energy. One thing to consider is parking...you may want to arrive early in the day as it does get quite full.
L “Ljs” S — Google review
This is a beautiful zoo and the animals are well taken care of. It's now a $35 entrance but I'd rather pay more to ensure the animals are well cared for. Tried to get to the zoo on a cool day and you will see the animals active. I had an amazing visit on January 22nd.
Nicole Beckler — Google review
Had a lot of fun, hadn't been her in like 10 years, it's now really nice and well kept. The sloth had just had a baby an we were able to see it get fed. I think the zoo has gotten a lot better that the last time I was here. Will definitely come back.

Finally made it to the Palm Beach Zoo! Had a truly fantastic time, saw all kinds of great animals, even my first koala bear! Be sure to sign up early for the koala experience they offer as it sells out every day its offered. Looking forward to going back soon!

This zoo is well maintained and clean! We got to see a lot of animals, even though some were taking their daily naps. They offer a bird feeding experience and lots of other interactions with certain animals (we didn't sign up for any since we came later in the day, and most of them were booked). Definitely buy your tickets ahead since it saves you a few extra bucks and helps you get in quicker! Would definitely come here again!
Courtney Vanwormer — Google review
Great zoo! My favorite animal was the eagle. Sometimes they have special events. When I visited I got to see a new born sloth. Got to see the tiger and the puma. However, I wish they had a lion. Overall , the zoo was a great activity for me and my family.
Denis Gomez — Google review
Great way to pass the days, be sure to take a water and change of clothes for your littles to play in the fountain! We didn’t pay for any extra interactive activities and still enjoyed ourselves, cafe and gift shops available and strollers friendly. Animals aren’t always super active so sometimes you’re just watching animals lay around but still enjoyable.
Judy Dover — Google review
Really disappointed in the zoo for Palm Beach County. It needs intense investment to improve the grounds, the cleaning conditions, the bathrooms, the level of service, and the areas for the animals. You can’t even compare it to other zoos around the country (some of which are less expensive and even free of charge). We won’t be back. Sorry
Esteban — Google review
Very nice place to take the family very clean bathrooms and drinks for a little expensive but yeah what do you expect from the zoo that has to cover the animals feed and stuff overall it was a great place to go and take the kids if you have kids.

Mounts Botanical Garden is a public garden located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The gardens features over two thousand plants that originate from six continents, as well as a seasonal butterfly garden.
I shot a maternity session there the other day and it is absolutely beautiful! Mom was pretty far along so we didn’t go all the way through the gardens. I have to save that for another day. What we did see was gorgeous and total spring time. We went early because we knew it would get hot fast and we were right. It’s a beautiful place to stroll through. Very peaceful, beautiful flower colors and butterflies! BTW, for photographers, you have to call them if you’re going to do a photo shoot with any props or gear. They were fine with us going with just the camera and shooting along our way.

This is such a gem of a place. Great for a relaxing visit somewhere to get our do the house. Go at your own pace, and visit the nursery to pick up a $1 bag of fish food, so much fun to feed the fish and turtles! Will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful little botanical garden in West Palm Beach. We especially like that it has paved paths that we can wheel my 95 year old mother-in-law in her wheelchair to see most of the exhibits. Also, it has handicap bathrooms in the front AND rear of the gardens. The other wonderful thing is that it has numerous placards detailing what plant you are viewing, where it's from, and gives some background on growing, smelling, tasting, etc. about many of the plants. The Herb garden is quite fragrant and has lots of placards. There is a vegetable garden and a fruit tree garden that was fascinating. There's an adventure trek for the children to search out and find all signs. On this latest visit, there was an origami exhibit throughout the Gardens. It's very educational and has something for everyone. I've only been here twice, but I can envision that if you visit throughout the year, it will always have different flowers, vegetables, and fruits blossoming. If we lived closer, I would visit it quite often. It was worth the hour and a half drive.
Sandra C — Google review
The gardens themselves are very nice. But I have to be honest that the location costs it a couple of stars. Surrounded by tattoo parlors and strip clubs (which I assume probably weren't there originally when the gardens were first established) and, most annoyingly, it's literally across the street from Palm Beach International Airport. Consequently, the peacefulness of the gardens is disrupted every few minutes by a jet landing. They could also benefit from having more of a distinction between the different garden types. I mean it's obvious when you move into the vegetable garden or the zen garden but less so when moving from like the rose garden into one of the others. Overall a pleasant 2 hours and I do cautiously recommend a visit. Just try to focus on the beauty of the gardens and not the surroundings. (Note that when we went, 12/30/21, the front entrance was undergoing renovations so you have to use a side entrance. I'm not taking anything off for that though. It shows that they want to keep the place in good condition).
Alan Foxman — Google review
This 40 years old garden is like a tropical oasis located in the city of West Palm Beach, but the only noise that will remind you of that is the planes landing in the adjacent airport. It’s a vast garden (16 acres), so you can easily spend a few hours in there. Among all the plants and vegetation (all of them labeled with their names) there are also an herbs’ garden, a “zen” area, a pond with fish and turtles that you can feed (you purchase the bag of food for $1 at the entrance), and a nursery that sells plants. It’s a great place to go to relax (even during the hot summer), and a perfect one for photography. The second Saturday of the month, Palm Beach Residents enter for free: we will surely take advantage of that above all during the winter, and we will also keep an eye on the special event, activities and exhibits that the garden offers from time to time.
Adriana Ruini — Google review
What a pleasant surprise! An unexpected garden in an unlikely location across from the airport. This was a really nice garden and had a great garden center with very good prices for plants. Very nicely maintained and great selection of plants and trees.
Christian Godoy — Google review
The garden is about 6 Mims from the airport, and the entry fee costs about $15 for adults. There are discounted prices for different groups like elderly and military ($12/adult) The garden is filled with beautiful plants and is perfect for a day with family or a stroll. It is a self guided tour. The views are picturesque, and there are many places to take pictures. Will definitely visit again, and I encourage everyone to visit at least once.

Love the Plant Sales, recently met the Bee Man! Very knowledgeable. Great vendors! So many fun little surprises. Great job on the gardens! It's obvious that a lot of beautiful additions have been added in the past year.. I recommend you go before it gets too hot and buggy! (It is Fla. After all)

This was a beautiful walk through experience that I would recommend to nature lovers. There are beautiful photo opportunities, and it was a peaceful place to soak in nature. Come with ample time to browse and fully immerse yourself as there is a strict cut off. Bathrooms were clean and the crowd was minimal on the day I visited. I brought 2 toddlers and they enjoyed it as well!

My first thought was $15 entry fee was steep for a botanical garden. They don't take cash, which is a trend I do not care for. I almost turned around and left. I am glad I decided to give it a try. The gardens are truly beautiful with a wide variety of plant life. And don't forget to get fish food for the koi pond.

What really stood out to me about this place is the fact that you actually smell the flowers as you walk through the garden and it smelt so good. All the landmarks were very informative. It’s very therapeutic here the nature we all need to take in and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city.. if I could I’d go daily.

truly a beautiful place to visit when you need to escape reality for just a minute! the staff are so sweet, especially Jan at the entrance / gift shop. Definitely a bit jealous of those who have outdoor gardens as there is a little plant nursery to shop from in the back. We’ll definitely be back as we’re considering to get memberships here!

Paid a visit on a Wednesday, was pleasantly surprised by the manicured variety of species they have carefully chosen for the gardens. It is quiet, serene, gentle water flows and some water Cascades. The labels encourage you to wander close and sometimes between the leaves.

This place is absolutely breathtaking. This is my first time visiting and walking through the gardens was just pure bliss. The origami statues were very unique, lots of shady spots to sit, relax and soak up the serene environment. There were gorgeous trees, ponds with Koi fish and soothing waterfalls. Great place to go on a date or as a family with small children. I ended up taking an origami class which was so much fun. They have a sweet gift shop if you want to bring home a keepsake. You can also pick up a plant or two of you feel inspired to start your own garden. I highly recommend Mounts Botanical Garden for all ages.

Visited during a plant show in February 2024, and it was a really nice time. They have a lot of variety (it IS a botanic garden) and it's well cared for and landscaped. I think it's a good place you could bring kids (but admittedly, I don't have any). Lot of benches that you can sit and take in the scenery, good for older folks with mobility issues. Right next to the airport, so you get to almost constantly see planes coming in. Not a gigantic property, but a very nice way to spend 2-3 hours.

What a lovely and unexpected gem! We went specifically to see the Kevin Box exhibition which was amazing in addition to their permanent gardens and artwork. The gardens are clearly well cared for and made for a peaceful stroll. The only challenge is the entrance and Google directions, it kept turning us around and the entrance isn't particularly well signed, doesn't look like much from the street. Other than that it was a five star experience.

What a great garden. We saw very large origami sculptures all over the place! Lots of fun, very inventive, different artists. A must see.

On the west side of the WPB airport, Mounts Botanical Garden is a beautiful location to spend time walking around and enjoying the various sorts of flora and fauna in the area, within a variety of settings. There is a relatively liner counter-clockwise path to follow that ensures you get to see all the different elements of the garden, including a small waterfall, a twig hut (very large, in fact) and various benches and sculptures throughout for you to pause and enjoy to site. The only downside is that airplanes frequently fly overhead and can affect the perception of tranquility...but it is not enough to prevent you from enjoy the visit. If you walk the entire garden without stopping for an extended period of time it would take about an hour. It is an acceptable site for all ages, but younger ones (say 10 and under) may not appreciate everything that is on offer here. There is a small gift shop to purchase some collectables and parking is free on the adjacent lot at the front of the garden.

Great place to visit for a pleasant walk in a beautiful setting. Nice variety of plants and trees. Much bigger than I had anticipated. This was a hit with our out of town visitors. Definitely worth a visit!

The Manatee Lagoon Eco-Discovery Center is a great place to learn about manatees, who are often referred to as sea cows. The center is open from November 15 through March 31, but you can visit it year-round if the manatees are in the area. There are many activities and events scheduled at the center for family enjoyment, so make sure to check their website before your visit.
We had the best time! The people who work there are so knowledgeable, and very sweet. We were so excited to see Manatees, they are such amazing creatures. My kids want to go back again next week!

We come here every chance we get! It’s a lot of fun and free. Donations are needed and shopping in the gift shop is fun! You come here when the nights are colder and make sure to show up in the AM. Staff are friendly and helpful! It’s great family activity that all ages will enjoy! Also handicapped accessible! The Manatees are a joy to watch and you will see other sea life as well.

Manatee Lagoon is a fabulous place for the whole family and it's totally Free! You'll only see Manatees during cool Florida weather from about mid November through March. They're so adorable! There's also a gift shop and an education center which explains all about Manatees and their habitat. They can do guided educational tours as well. The place is so pretty, they really made it lovely to visit. Plenty of parking too.
Cathy Armato — Google review
Full disclosure I love Manatees! Didn't get to see any but the gift shop was the best! Bought lots of goodies! Loved the variety of items. The museum portion was informative and nicely organized. Super nice kind staff. Hopefully next time will get to see some beautiful Manatee!

Prior to your visit go on there website and check out the Manatee cam. As one of the managers explained Manatee's are notorious for no-shows. Nonetheless, If you have kids and need something free to do, bring them here. What they offer? (From their website) There are other fun family options that are offered at Manatee Lagoon throughout the year. Manatee Lagoon staffers have created an extensive calendar of activities, ranging from daily educational presentations, yoga on the waterfront observation deck, programs for kids to story and more. Visit our events calendar to access the schedule and registration details. Manatee Lagoon is one of Palm Beach County's fun and engaging family-friendly attractions, with interactive, entertaining exhibits that tickle your curiosity about the environment of the Lake Worth Lagoon and the wonderful world of manatees. The only downside is I needed to know if they had wheel chairs available and because the city runs it ,the call goes directly to the power and light company which doesn't make sense. If you are not on the property how are you able to answer customers questions?

Easily accessible from the Main Road. Plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. The visitor center was clean and staffed by friendly employees. There were no Manatees to see on our visit but they have a nice visitor center which is free to visit. It has a wealth of information and it also has a gift shop.

Even though it was just out of season to see Manatees in the water. Our experience was better than I expected. The outside grounds and the boardwalk areas were just nice. Inside the facility was a very well laid out museum of fish tanks, wall art, photos which were educational and interesting 🤔 about the history of the surrounding areas. Parking and museum access were all free. What a great thing (FPL)Florida Power and Light has done for us all.
John Gundel — Google review
I had the pleasure of visiting the Manatee Lagoon Center on a sunny afternoon, making it the perfect complement to a morning spent at the zoo. The center's main attraction is undoubtedly the manatees when they are around, and I was excited to learn that they prefer warmer water. Fortunately, there's a nearby power plant that helps keep the water temperature cozy during the winter months, making it the best time to catch a glimpse of these gentle giants. Though, on my visit, I could spot only a couple of them lingering in the deeper parts of the water. The center itself is a small but educational building that emphasizes the importance of preserving manatees and ocean life. I was impressed with their efforts to spread awareness and promote conservation. What's more, the best part was that the admission was entirely free, making it accessible to all visitors. The tour took around an hour, giving ample time to stroll around and take in the fascinating exhibits. The building had an upstairs area with a small art gallery, and I noticed what appeared to be a conference room and an observation deck, adding versatility to the space. Cleanliness is always crucial to me, and I was pleased to find the Manatee Lagoon Center impeccably maintained. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, which is always a good sign of a well-managed establishment. The ambiance was incredibly relaxing, providing a serene environment to learn and appreciate these wonderful creatures. Being close to nature and understanding its significance left a lasting impression on me. It's an ideal place to wind down and connect with the marine world. Overall, my visit to the Manatee Lagoon Center was enjoyable and enlightening. If you have an interest in marine life preservation or simply want a peaceful escape from the bustle of everyday life, I highly recommend stopping by this gem of a place. Whether you're a local or a tourist, the experience is both educational and rejuvenating, and the best part is, it won't cost you a dime.

Go to Manatee Lagoon in season! I went the last weekend they were open and it was such a wonderful experience. We didn’t see any manatees just one passing by, but the museum is really awesome and relaxing on the harbor was beautiful. The staff was kind and talked to us. Also it’s FREE! (Definitely make a donation if you are able to)

Ok so we had a wonderful trip to Ft Lauderdale Florida. We went to the Manatee Lagoon to see what the family has been watching online. I have to say I wasn’t thinking it was going to be great but to my surprise it was really cool seeing them. I was amazed at all of the fish in the lagoon. We even saw some Bull Sharks. The information center was great tons of stuff related to preserving them.a great gift shop with the prices not to high. You can also make donations. Clean restrooms and the personnel working there is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would go again, also remember that it’s seasonal meaning that if the weather is cooler it’s much more likely that you will see them in the lagoon. The big animals can move too so don’t think because they are big the don’t move fast.
Victor Stanley (Shar and Vic) — Google review
A fun time for adults and children alike. This attraction is run on donations. The employees or volunteers were very nice. There is a small educational area and gift shop in the building. Outside, there are two levels for viewing the manatees. There is also a walking path along the water and a few places to sit. A couple of "garden" areas allow for some nice picture opportunities. It is my understanding that the proceeds from the gift shop help fund research and education for the manatees and laugerhead turtles. This location offers tours and educational information for schools etc. The bathrooms were in need of a bit of cleaning, but it was very busy so it could be the reason the bathroom was less than desirable. Definitely stop by and see the manatees. You won't be disappointed.

It’s not bad! I just wish I could see some Manatee but wasn’t lucky enough! Maybe next time will spend more time there. But was lucky to see needle fish in lagoon. There are fishes in small aquarium indoors- loved the puffer fish!

I was educated about the manatee. There were photographs, pictures, and written information. The setting is delightful right on the Intercoastal waterway. The building looks new. The gift shop has a nice manatee merchandise mix.

Sadly didn't see any manatees but that's fine, they're wild after all. Was still fun to look at the fish, ray and iguanas across the way. And to wander around inside. Bought a few things from the gift shop. (About 11:30am on a Wed) Will definitely come back again if the opportunity comes up. I heard earlier is better. Free, no cost unless you buy something from the gift shop.

Neat place to see with some interesting facts on manatees. Free parking and free to enter. Second floor balcony offers nice views of the langoon. Unfortunately for us it was too hot when we went so we couldn't see any manatees.

What a perfect day! Saw some manatees, fish, sting rays, sharks, lizards, etc!! The place was full of life, fun and we stayed for hours! Great place to visit and a must see for any person who wants to see some sea life up close. I wish we had better pictures but we saw them faster than we could take pictures!

A beautiful place, we came here in March and there were only two manatees during the whole day, we didn’t have a chance to see them, only some fish. But the museum is nice and informative, the view is awesome, this place is great to visit with a kid

Great experience and it is free, so definitely recommend shopping here. They have lots of benches along the lagoon that you can sit on and look for the manatees. A member of the staff mentioned that the manatees are more active in the morning, so get there early! They also have a live stream on their website which is pretty cool.

its paradise without the airport. perfect sweatshirt weather at night in match, no bugs. we all saw thousands of fish while snorkeling in high tide. it was the best low tide snorkeling we have ever done. the showers are only accessible to campers, and they are warm.

Amazing place to vacay!! If it's not for the jellyfish I will say it's paradise. We went on August 20th and the quantity of jellyfish was just ridiculous all the kids were crying and you get paranoic while you are swimming. The water its so clear, perfectly warm but the stains from the jellyfish were not fun. By the office you can get a special salty water/vinegar botlle if it's really bad. You need to take a ferry to the island it's just literally like just 5 min distance the price it was around 20$ per adult something like that. You can book with time and spend the night in the camping area. We are a camping family so of course we stayed, the space it's for 10 people but you can't set more than one tent so make sure to either bring a big tent if its a big family or to rent a bigger space that allows more than one tent. 😉 They have an special code for camping people for the private closed indoor showers in the bathroom area. There are filtered water filters, bbqs and where to charge your electronics, if you can bring an extension it's very good idea because there's just like 2 ports for everyone there. 🏕 The camping experience here was amazing, it's the perfect combination to not be so uncomfortable with no clean water, toilet and some electricity but you can still set up your tent make bbq, theres even an area to make a bonfire and cook some marshmallows. Definitely we will be back next year it would be nice to know when there's no jelly fish. I asked some people around and apparently it's just like to play the lottery 🤷 no one knows exactly.

Peanut island is an excellent place for camping and enjoying some relax and fun! Great service, easy to book, and peanut island shuttle and water taxis come and go every 20 minutes. Campground is clean, hot water for shower is available in the restrooms, and the place is just perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Remember to bring your s’mores to enjoy at the communal fireplace area!

This is a lovely island where you can spend the day with family and friends, or camp, we have been here for once for a family meeting and make a BBQ at their Pavilions where they have BBQ ready for you to use, you need to bring all food and tools that you need, because they don’t sell neither food or any other items, and now we have the camping experience, they have showers with hot water, and the customer service at island management office is very friendly, we like to Thanks Rosa for all her help during our stay!!!, and the personal that keep the island clean, you can always see people cleaning to keep the island in the best shape.

Nice little island near Palm Garden City. Getting to Peanuts Island by either ferry or kayak or other means. Ferry cost $18 round trip and run every 20 min. Water is crystal clear and I saw lots of people snorkeling, sand is white and soft, and plenty of shades provided by trees along the beach, or covered porches in many location with BBQ grills. I didn’t rate this place as a 5 stars due to the fact that there are way too many Jellyfish in the water (brown and purple ones). I was told that sometimes there were barely any jellyfish around last month by the locals. All in all, it well worth the trip to this island.

It's like a mini Bahamas !! THE WATER IS TURQUOISE CLEAR!!! The coolest place! Went last minute. $18 round trip. Free parking available. No alcohol allowed. They check bags. This place is AMAZING, clean and calm water, perfect for a day with the family and specially kids. Be ready to do some snorkel, kayak or to use your paddle boards. Restrooms are clean, be aware you need to take a ferry to get to the island.

A paradise in Palm Beach. Is definitely a place to visit if you are in the area. There is a ferry that takes about 15 minutes. We went on a weekend, and it was open from 8:30 am to buy tkts. First come, first serve. At 9am, we took off. They will check your cooler for alcohol as it is not permitted on the island. The ferry is every 20 minutes until it reaches full capacity on the island. The whole island is about 1.5 miles, and it has a bbq area, bathroom, and freshwater for showering. Beautiful white sand green water and lots of fish, be aware of jellyfish on the months of August and September. Bring food, snacks, and drinks. There are no places to buy anything. Will definitely come back. It is on my list of favorite beaches in FL.

Avocado Grill is a casual, charming place with outdoor seating and seasonal small plates for brunch, lunch and dinner. The kitchen source exotic ingredients to create South Floridian dishes which are then paired with creative craft cocktails. Avocado Grill also offers a vegan menu in addition to its regular fare.
I love avocados so this was an easy choice. Started with the grill avocado and nachos… my fate had the aged prime burger… all great choices. The place is very tropical vibes and although it was an early dinner for us, the place was busy outside and calm and inviting inside. We sat inside and enjoyed the meal. Staff was courteous.

We loved this place! The food was fresh and served quickly, the drinks were excellent, and our server, Antonio, was the best!! Try the fried zucchini blossoms for something different and delicious, and I was asked what temperature I wanted my salmon to be served, and they did it just right! We will absolutely be back the next time we are in Palm Beach!!

When I was in West Palm Beach it was really tough to choose a spot for lunch and it went a little something like this: Wanted a location near the beach with parking available, a light meal, and some refreshing cocktails. Avocado Grill hit it all on these three points! The location is conveniently located near the beach and there is not so much parking available at the location, but there's street parking and lots around - pay for parking. The restaurant is small, but it is truly a comfortable experience and the decorations inside are nice. They also have happy hour available for those who are interested in happy hour spots to check out. One detail on the menu stood out to me though. All the sandwiches sound delicious and I decided to go with the BLT option. Let me tell you! It did not disappoint! It was fresh from the delicious bread to the lettuce, to the tomato, and even the bacon was legit. This was solid! I would come back just to have this sandwich again. The cocktails are excellent and the variety is amazing. This is a small and kind of hidden spot so it can be easy to miss, make sure to check it out if you're in the area. :)

We went here with a group of ten people. We thought we had a reservation for 2pm and they had us down for 4pm. No idea where the error came from. Without hesitation four people immediately jumped into action to set up multiple tables to accommodate us and we were seated in minutes! The device was terrific! We LOVED the food. I had the vegan tacos and Avocado wedges. So good and flavorful. Everyone at the table got something different and everyone loved it.

Nice place near the water Downtown WPB. I was attending the boat festival and this place was busy. Their menu is large and the food was good. The interior noisy which made conversation difficult. The service is good and food was delivered promptly.

Food was tasty and fresh. Slight blooper on restaurant side, we asked for hard poached eggs, got hard fried instead. Not a big deal but something staff need to be more aware of. Fruit was fresh. My husband chicken sambo with roast potatoes was thoroughly enjoyed. One thing when we arrived we were ushered to a table near the back, when the front was not full at all. It would have been nice to have been allowed to choose our seats. (We were well dressed so don't know why they wanted us "hidden") Service was prompt, waiter was friendly.

Our recent visit to Avocado Grill was an absolute delight. The restaurant's open-air concept, modern decor, and vibrant atmosphere perfectly complemented its inspired menu. The professional and energetic staff greeted us warmly and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The Spanish cuisine, featuring dishes like perfectly cooked tuna poke and grilled octopus, was a highlight, full of diverse and satisfying flavors. Desserts like key lime pie and white chocolate bread pudding were a treat, and the drink selection was impressive, offering delicious rosé wine and coffee martinis among others. The fair pricing and the multiple awards Avocado Grill has received over the years reflect their commitment to an exceptional dining experience. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that we highly recommend.

I popped by here for my lunch break, and my only qualm is that the afternoon menu is quite minimal. I definitely have to try them again for dinner! The menu items I wanted to try weren’t available for lunch, although I understand the need for a smaller menu during a very busy lunchtime. I just wish the items that were available were a bit more interesting! I ended up getting the prime dry-aged burger that came with brie cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado and onions. The burger itself was good, however I personally wasn’t the biggest fan of the brie and the avocado together. Might have been a texture thing for me. The service however was amazing! Considering how busy they were I was surprised as to how quickly I was greeted and served! They also have a mocktail menu, which I really appreciated, as I am sober! I got a Minted Watermelon drink that was very refreshing, and it made me happy to be able to sip on something fun! Overall, I did have a great experience, and I will be back for dinner next time!

Scam pricing for portion sizes. The edamame dumplings for $18 came with 4 comically small dumplings that tasted like they were just filled with garlic paste. The jerk chicken was one sliced breast. I left hungry. Other than the dumplings the food tasted fine and the service was acceptable. Simply just a ripoff in terms of pricing and portions. The beer on draft selection was very limited.

Known for its meat-centric menu and extensive wine list, Okeechobee Steak House is a popular spot for steak lovers. With forest green walls and cherrywood accents, the restaurant is sophisticated and inviting with booth tabletops that provide unique dining experiences. The menu features succulent steaks cooked to perfection, fresh seafood options, hearty sides of vegetables, golden fries and house made sauces.
Wanted to try out the oldest steakhouse in Florida. The atmosphere was awesome with a great little bar area. Your choice of steaks are very nice and they are all dry aged. On this particular night, we had an amazing server, India. She made our visit as good as it could be. We really enjoyed her service. Got the Tomahawk. Asked for it medium rare with a good char on the outside. Was absolutely cooked to perfection. Taste was spectacular! Very satisfied. Of course this is a high end restaurant, so expect to pay for the elegant service, great decor and fine dining. It’s worth it if you have it. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!

Thank you Okeechobee Steakhouse and team for great service, food, and an excellent experience!

Excellent steak, the dessert are delicious. The service was good. Just that we feel a bit awkward walking in there, the vibe is out of our comfort zone. In conclusion, we feel like we were being judged by the staffs a bit. After a trying to be nice service, the whole experience was fine. Nothing wrong with judging people but still trying to do a good job. Thanks to you guys for trying. Maybe will be back in next 15 years when we feel like we’re more vibing.

Our first time together at this local landmark, which has an Old Florida vibe from years past. The service was excellent. We ordered a variety of desserts, all seemed well thought out, and were eager to experience something different out of our normal comfort zones. It seems to have a well established customer base after so many years, so was curious to discover what makes this place so popular that is it's staying power after decades in the community.

Had an amazing dinner here last night! Best steakhouse in S FL by far. We got the house salad with blue cheese dressing, Kansas City sirloins, brussel sprouts, baked potato, garlic mashed potatoes, and the peanut butter pie. I like rare steaks with a heavy char for a crispy bite, and they delivered! Service was impeccable and I was impressed with the steak and dessert tray they bring around to show you your options. Old school vibe but so, so delicious.

Happy times at happy hour. The staff is superb. Food is okay. Bring a sweater because It gets pretty chilly at the bar area. Stephanie, and the rest of the staff are great. The bar was crowded so she sat me at the booth while I waited for a friend. When my friend arrived I wanted to move to the bar and the waitress helped me transit there offering to carry my beverages and app over there. I ordered a burger and potato skins that were on the happy hour menu. Both for $6 each. The burger was pretty basic and the potato skins lacked a little flavor. The discounted martini I had was $9 and it was very good.

I had the pleasure of Amber being our server. Dinner was delicious, I would highly recommend the crab stuffed mushroom caps and creamed spinach. I ordered the rock lobster (which I have had many times before from other places), I did expect to see a different type of tail, but none the less, I enjoyed the taste. They have a really great wine selection. I did find the acoustics to be not so great. At times it was pretty loud, but hey it was a Friday night. I appreciated that our server show us the cuts so we could make a selection. Note, there is complimentary valet.

Outstanding and very attentive service, amazing food, and the ambiance is very classic and classy. I had the lobster, and my partner had the bone in rib eye amongst other appetizers and sides. We were completely satisfied. Thank you, we will definitely be back!!

Service was great, you can tell the employees work hard and are running around on a busy night. The atmosphere is elegant while a bit dark and very confined. If your looking for a quiet roomy place this is not for you. Steak was cooked exactly as requested, my only recommendation is for a quality steakhouse the fries appeared to be from a discount grocer freezer section. Step up your game with shoestring truffle or something.

Hate to give this revenue. We were in the area and decided to stop in for dinner as I have friends that have recommend this place. The waiter did his job but we never clicked. There was no personality. Well, the wagyu had no presentation what so ever. See picture. We have eaten at many restaurants and she was floored. A $119 steak and no garnish or anything. Just there all alone on a plate. The others had presentation but not the Wagyu. Once done with dinner on the receipt it states free steak for birthdays. Well we didn’t know and we had gone for my daughters birthday. It was the day after her birthday we went. When ordering dessert I had asked the server do you do anything for birthdays his reply was I can discount her dessert some. It took a while and he brought it out with a candle when my other daughter who were sitting next to each other had gone to the restroom. Disappointed. Anyways the big shocker was on the receipt. It says free steak on birthday. I asked him what you have to do and why he didn’t mention anything or ask if we are celebrating anything. He mumbled and walked away and came back with the check and said that the whole desert was discounted. Still no real answer. Very Disappointing experience.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! This is a pricey place, but so absolutely worth it. The steak was such a perfect consistency and perfectly cooked. Brussel sprouts were phenomenal, as were the drinks and bottle of wine we ordered. Garlic mashed potatoes were okay but it’s okay since it wasn’t a huge part of the meal 🤪

Fantastic atmosphere, service and the steak was phenomenal. First time having a Kobe beef steak and it has probably ruined me as the bar is now set too high. It was cooked perfectly with a buttery smooth mouth feel. Don’t get caught off guard, this isn’t Texas Roadhouse. Be prepared to spend over $100 per person.

Ultimately, it does not matter how I write this review, as this place is always busy and a staple to WPB. The service does not have to be anything unique because they know you will always keep coming back. You would think at a steakhouse that, they could cook a steak properly, but it is hit or miss here. The bartenders are also hit or miss. Sometimes, they perform exceptionally; other times, you walk in and go, "Not again," as you see that you are the bartender. If you come here, it may be fantastic. But go a few times and see if the experience is the same.

Food, service, place’s decoration and atmosphere… all top notch. We’ve been living in the region for two years and haven’t found a better steak house yet. Strongly recommend!

American restaurant
City Cellar Wine Bar and Grill is a popular New American eatery with a wine cellar that serves up an impressive selection of wines. The restaurant has been in business for over 20 years, and its expansive dining area offers stunning views of Rosemary Square. The menu features fresh seafood, prime steak options, wood-fired pizza, rotating small plates, and a well-regarded wine list.
Everything was extremely delicious! The truffle honey that came with the charcuterie board was so unique. The truffle fries were delicious as well. The service was amazing too, our cups were never empty. We did wait 30 mins for our table on a Wednesday but luckily there’s many things to do around to keep you distracted.

My friend and I were walking around, enjoying city center and wanted a lite dinner. All the menus in the square looked decent but we decided on City Cellar. We decided on the fish dip, calamari, and truffle fries. All were very good. We also each had a glass of sangria. Also very good. Lots of seating inside and out. Our service was good as well. I think definitely worth a try!

First time at this restaurant. Very nice place. Very clean. Has a vibe similar to Coopers Hawk. The place is nicely decorated. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly hostess. Our server Mardi was super. Very very nice. Super helpful with the menu, great big smile, informative and she kept on checking on us. The food was hot and delicious. Very nice presentation. The bathrooms were clean 🙏🏽🫡. The music was a bit loud for my taste but not super loud. We we able to talk without having to scream at each other. Will definitely come back again. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed and safe day.

This place is amazing! Went out on a Saturday night.. (Would recommend a reservation because they were quoting one hour wait times). Was seating right away, and we sat outside. Didn’t get a change to gather the name of our server but he was very sweet & attentive. He apologized for the long wait time and took our orders. Drinks were fantastic, along with the hummus appetizer. For my main meal. I ordered their pasta with vodka cream sauce. Big portions sizes given. Was super full for desert but was served a scoop of Carrot Cake ice cream. Which was amazing. Not a big fan of carrot cake but do recommend the ice cream. Great place and environment. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent place for some libations and normal food. Bartenders are excellent. Food is very good although somewhat delay. Sea bass excellent and strip steak ok with normal flavor. I seat at the end of the bar and the main manager should have some better ideas for improvement. Overall a very good dinner and fun place.

Perfect food and service! Justin was an excellent server and made great recommendations. He was very honest and helped us create the right combinations to make it an incredible dining experience. Everything was great, from the tomato onion cheese soup, to the salmon, to the German chocolate cake. The fresh baked bread was incredible! Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! This restaurant gained a regular, and I will be back, requesting Justin to serve us again! Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed a light lunch and the pit fruit (peaches) salad with tomatoes, creamy burrata and aged balsamic vinaigrette was absolutely delicious. The truffle fries and Brie were enjoyed by my family member. Service was a little slow, but the flavors made up for that.

Absolutely a gem! Their wine list is extensive and covers everything from whites to blushes to reds, both American and imported. Isaiah made excellent suggestions for us as first-time visitors, and he was right on time with checking on our food. It was absolutely perfect service even though it was busy, and every table was full! Davon, the manager, also stopped by our table to ask if everything was as expected. (We had not said anything about completing reviews prior to his visit and were actually under-dressed) The veal meatball appetizer was superb, very tasty, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The grilled salmon entree, medium-rare, was jucy and spiced without being over-done. The carrot cake with walnuts and salted caramel tart for dessert topped it off for us. Highly, highly recommend!

Cute location. Has a great view of the wishing tree. Offers inside And outside dining. View clean and cute design. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Has a nice selection of appetizers. For main courses was lacking in the vegitarian variety but the quinoa salad was delicious. So a great blend a flavor, I really enjoyed it. My boyfriend had the gnocchi al forno he said it was to salty. Had a kick to and was heavy. Wasn't terrible though. The gnocchi appetizer was ok but didn't come out hot. The charcuterie cheese were very small sizes, the meat had had better portions. The spreads that came with it were flavorful. Overall was good. For price and location recommend.

Love coming here. It’s become a bit of tradition for us to eat here whenever I come to West Palm to visit my sister. The food and service has been incredible every time! I’ve tried the pizza, steak, chicken, gnocchi, calamari and charcuterie board…It’s all so tasty you literally can’t order wrong! I’ll definitely be returning, next time I’m in town.

Jerey was wonderful today. We came to City Cellar for brunch. We are frequent customers, but we have been away for a while. We are definitely coming back because of the service Jerry gave us. My husband and I have never had a bad meal at City Cellar.

Came here at the recommendation of our hotel. They were SPOT ON. It wasn’t super crowded yet and we sat at the bar. We were immediately greeted by Jamie and welcomed in. We had arrived during happy hour and decided to take full advantage. We had the Capri pizza and veal meatballs. Oh my. The pizza was full of flavor. There was sweetness with fig, tartness with goat cheese, lemony freshness with arugula and a lovely balsamic drizzle. The meatballs were tender and perfectly cooked and came in a flavorful marinara sauce and melted cheese. Jamie was there for us every step of the way and a delight to talk to. She explained everything thoroughly and had an expert knowledge of the menu. She also made a great old fashioned and had great knowledge of the wines offered that day. We WILL be back and we WILL be requesting her service. Thank you for a great time!

Located on the upper floor of The Square in central West Palm Beach, the City Cellar is a large modern brasserie style of restaurant with a selection of two person tables along the balcony edge that overlook the Square itself, a small size terrace and a large interior seating area. The menu lists the typical selection of pizza, sandwiches, burgers, and pastas, with a few salads. Nothing exception but everything is (relatively) familiar. For our meal we opted for the brunch option which may, ultimately, have been a mistake. We ordered the Cellar Breakfast (basic eggs and bacon) and the Tuscan Kale Salad. The breakfast was more on the ho-hum side (been there, done that) and but the Kale Salad was good although the leaves could have been softened more. Service was also a bit on the slow side (not sure if it was because we were at the very edge of the outside tables, or they were short staffed) but it didn’t negatively affect our meal (it was more about getting the bill than anything else). On the plus side, sitting outside overlooking the square is a definite bonus. Enjoy!

Sunday Brunch, Football, and a day with our Milo. Kale Salad with breakfast pizza. We added extra egg, and would prefer thin crust, but otherwise delish dish. Our server at the bar was very attentive, provided great customer service. We love the vibes here whether it's brunch, happy hour or dinner.

Located in beautiful Centennial Park, Pistache French Bistro serves classic French cuisine with a Mediterranean twist. The bistro has an Art Nouveau interior that is charming and romantic, perfect for a quiet dinner for two or a special celebration. There are seven days a week lunch and dinner service.
Highly recommend! Stylish upscale place, traditional French food was fantastic! Had lentil salad and Faroe island salmon - so delicious! Friendly and quick service.

A cozy outdoor eating experience on the patio before attending Sunfest. We had reservations and were seated right away. The service was stellar and the food was perfectly portioned and delicious. The staff and ambience was very friendly and made for our first time dining at Pistache a fabulous one! We would certainly love to come back to try it out for dinner the next time we are in the West Palm Beach area!

Often last minute decisions lead to great experiences. As such, our dinner here did not disappoint. Great location across from the park, romantic outdoor seating, amazing food and a friendly staff. Our server was spot on with his recommendations and every bite was delicious. The escargot was perfect, the charcuterie selections were fantastic and the duck was divine. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner. We will definitely be returning soon.

Yum with a side of outdoor seating! Great location in front of the Centennial Park in West Palm Beach. Solid service with delicious food. The mussels were great and shrimp roll was good. This is our second time here and we’d come back for more. Still confused on whether they have parking so parked at the paid garage next door.

Pistache Pistache, merci beaucoup pour ce merveilleux dîner! I definitely enjoyed dinner here. I was learning French when we decided to go here, so I was already excited. This restaurant definitely delivered to my expectations. This was my first time eating escargot and to my surprise it was quite tasty—I’d try it again. I enjoyed every dish we ordered and was also surprised at the portion—which were large! Go and thank me later.

I recently dined at Pistache in West Palm Beach, and it was an absolute delight! The charming bistro ambiance created the perfect setting for a memorable evening. I was fortunate to secure a lovely table, and the experience only got better from there. The steak and frites were impeccably prepared, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. Each bite was a burst of flavors, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. The accompanying wine selection complemented the meal perfectly, adding an extra layer of sophistication to the dining experience. The service at Pistache was exemplary—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff's dedication to ensuring a pleasant visit did not go unnoticed. To conclude the evening on a sweet note, I indulged in the profiteroles, and they were nothing short of heavenly. The delicate pastry filled with luscious cream was the perfect finale to an already exceptional meal. Pistache has undoubtedly earned its place as a culinary gem in West Palm Beach, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their delightful offerings. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic and memorable French dining experience!

This was our third time to Pistache. The first time was for Sunday bruch with our dogs, we sat outside. The second time was for Mussel Mondays, and this time was also for Mussel Mondays since it's such a great deal and they're amazing. Both times we came for the Mussels we also sat at the bar for happy hour since they have two for one drinks and appetizers 2 for $22. We ordered the lentil salad and the cauliflower, both dishes have incredibile flavors. The drink menus is great, I had two French 79s and London Calling, both were excellent. The staff are friendly and courteous, the venue is has a relax atmosphere, and has a French decour and vibe. Now, to the best part, the mussels. The broth they come with is incredible. It has thebright bakance of garlic, onion or shallots, saltyness, and wine. They should just offer the broth as an appetizer with half a loaf of a baguette just to soak the bread in it. It's all you can eat, so I was a happy fat kid. This is one of our favorite restaurants downtown, a must to visit and try.

Small plates restaurant
Buccan is an innovative small plates restaurant with creative international cuisine in a trendy, tile-roofed storefront. The restaurant was created by Clay Conley, a highly acclaimed Miami Chef, and serves up progressive American dishes ranging from small sharing plates to sophisticated entrées. Buccan has a interesting seasonal menu that changes depending on the availability of fresh seafood and the whimsical nature of Chef Clay Conley.
Went for my birthday and the food was amazing, the service is top notch and the menu is so creative. The pasta with sweet corn, bacon and ricotta is a must!

Great restaurant, everything is well flavored. The spicy pork taco is absolutely great-juicy and flavorful. Service is wonderful, it was raining outside and we didn’t drove car from hotel. The manager helped us and called the Uber for us. They said they can’t let us walk in rain. Very warm and kind. Great representation of Palm beach. Strongly recommend.

Fun vibes. Foods are delicious. I love the fact that you can order half or full portion, so we ordered bunch of half to try everything out. The tuna tartar is great and the steak tartare I believe is interesting, we liked it a lot. The duck is good but I’m not crazy about it. We tried 3 pastas, the squid ink pasta with sausage, the famous sweet corn and the lobster pasta. The sweet corn is so sweet to me, I couldn’t eat it unfortunately, but it got so much potential. The squid ink is on the spicy side, if you don’t eat spicy, don’t. The lobster is our favorite pick so far. For the desert. We got the banana cake with pecan ice cream I think. It’s delicious! I took 1 star out because they put the individual table too close to each other. You literally can hear the whole conversation of each other through the whole mean, so uncomfortable. That alone killed most of our experience. We may not going back because of that. Otherwise, the rest of the experience was great.

Buccan slays as usual. Honestly there's no point in writing reviews for this place, it's always awesome and I feel like everyone already knows it. I love how they keep the classic dishes on the menu and add new ones seasonally. I love how the kitchen always keeps the flavors and textures bright and exciting, visit after visit. This time I tried the sweet corn agnolotti and it was INSANE, I highly recommend. It is loud here and definitely it's a scene spot, but the service is always warm and welcoming. Put this spot on your list, it's a must.

We couldn't have picked a better restaurant for our first night at West Palm Beach! We ordered tapas style and everything was delicious with a unique twist, including our favorite – duck confit with a vegetable pancake. Our waiter was very helpful with his recommendations (don't sleep on the hot dog panini) and the service was impeccable along with a beautifully dark interior. This place is packed to the gills with beautiful people and make sure to grab reservations, as this place fills up fast. Valet is complimentary.

Buccan is hands down my favorite restaurant. Been there a few times, mainly for special occasions. It tough to get a reservation so try to plan WAY ahead. I typically call 30 days out to get the time and date I want. self Parking is street parking and can be a little scarce but there is valet at the door. The waiting staff and super friendly and always give great recommendations. Most of the menu is “tapas” style or small portions. But they do have full plates like my favorite meal, the NY Strip. The menu does change often so dont really marry to one dish because it may not be on the menu next time! They constantly have staff refilling your water, changing out the silverware and providing new clean plates. 100/10 Highly recommended

Perhaps no other better restaurant on the Island. Great French cuisine served tapas style or 'big plate' version, but best route is to order for the table. This dinner spot and that sandwich shop during the day can be an all day eating affair. Cheers to them.

Buccan is one of our favorite spots on the island and has some of the best food — we always have an amazingly tasty meal and drinks! I ordered the Florida Pompano the other night and it had such a lovely sear and the grapefruit segments brightened up the dish in such an unexpected way. The atmosphere inside is also just so pleasing and enjoyable to be in.

Service was very good and nice atmosphere, but I feel that food was over seasoned to the point where it overwhelms your taste buds. If they turn it down a notch would be better there is already enough flavor without the need for so much salt / spice. Desert was delicious highly recommend pecan bar.

Had friends visiting in a few weeks but Buccan didn’t have any open reservations. I emailed them and they squeezed me in! Before I even ate here I could see how dedicated they are to customer service. The service itself is second to none. They are constantly refilling you water, changing your plates, and cleaning your table. All the staff is so friendly. Vanessa was our waitress and she was fantastic. As for the food, we had steak tartare, mushroom tacos, calamari, and lobster fusilli. The food gets 5/5. Everything was amongst the best food I’ve ever eaten. I’ve never had better calamari anywhere else, and it was fresh, as was all their food. My only “complaint” is the small portions, but it is worth it. Three people shared four plates and we were all full by the end of the night. I think Buccan is the best restaurant in all of Palm Beach County, not just Palm Beach. Make sure you make your reservations many weeks in advance!

We had an absolutely amazing experience! Food was fabulous and my only regret is not being able to eat more. Our server, Stephanie N. really made the experience. She took the time to get to know what our tastes were and made honest recommendations based on that. Her suggestions were right on the money and made our experience that much better. She also was incredibly friendly and made sure to get to know us and form a relationship. Stephanie was exceptionally personable and was legitimately one of the best servers we have ever had the pleasure of having. I can’t say enough good things about her. 11/10 would recommend!

It is quite challenging to give correct stars for this restaurant. the crew is way too friendly, I expected better service because of decoration, comments of the people, and the location, however the way they served me was like you are serving someone from family in a rush. The food was fresh and ingredients were good quality. Menu has its ups and downs; some dishes are really delicious, some average. Steak tartar was the best one I had, oysters were not the best, on palmbeach island I expected better quality oysters. Sushi Sellection is nice. I find it tasty and fresh.
