Event venue
The Florida Agricultural Museum is a 400-acre historical pioneer homestead that features farm animals, historic barns, and equestrian trails. Visitors can enjoy an unforgettable ride on the beautiful trails guided by experienced staff members. The horses are well-trained and provide a mellow and sweet experience for riders of all ages. The helmets are clean, provided for every rider and safety instructions are given before departure.
Best ride and trails. I got to ride "Caleb" a big sweetie. My son rode "Auggie" a Florida Cracker horse, also a very mellow horse. Our guide was great, the trails are stunning, the views breathtaking and it felt like being transported back to a time before concrete and clear-cutting existed. Helmets were clean and provided for us, a quick how to tutorial based on experience was kindly given by our guide and off we went. It was also exactly 2 hours! I expected it to be off by 15 minutes give or take but the horses know what 2 hours feels like.

This place is beautiful and the staff are so friendly. We had a 2 hour trail ride with Jack. It was amazing. He was so patient and helpful. The horses here are so well trained and fun! I even got to trot with Auggie towards the end of the trail. SO MUCH FUN. GORGEOUS FL VIEWS. 10/10 experience. Will be going again!
Brianna Bell — Google review
We had a wonderful ride that exceeded our expectations. We had originally wanted to book a beach ride but found they were all booked. We are very happy that was the case because this trail ride was very nice and I think we enjoyed it as much or more than we would have the beach. Would definitely book again.
K Loz — Google review
It was an amazing experience. Cheryl is a wonderful person. This was my first time riding a horse. She was kind enough to give me a quick lesson about horse riding before we started that worked very well. Trail is beautiful and scenic. Very well managed. Will definitely recommend.
Karan Singh — Google review
Had a wonderful time with my grandson and my daughter. Thank you, staff members, for the unforgettable experience for my family! We will definitely visit again!
Rimma Mogilevsky — Google review
Our Family horse riding 1h tour was great! Nice trail, well trained horses. Guide Jack is great, very friendly. Our daughter went to the horse summer camp this summer for the first time, it was fun experience for her. Thank you to Cheryl and all girls-counselors! They did a great job! I am totally recommending to visit this Museum, lots of other things to do there!
Jelena P — Google review
What a gem! A blend of Florida History, American History, Farm life and Agriculture. My family learned so much, my 7 year old had fun with the animals and I felt like I was transported back in time. Excellent experience and very knowledgeable tour guide. At the end, a very nice woman gave my daughter a special surprise that she will cherish forever!
Melania Atzori — Google review
It was a beautiful day with Jack (our guide), Jolly and Caleb! We did the two-hour ride and are newer riders. It was incredible, and we would highly recommend to anyone!
Megan Hill — Google review
This was our second visit to the Museum. We went on the 1hr trail ride and absolutely loved every minute! Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. She told us so much about the horses, their care and the boarding options they offer. She mentioned their camp for the summer as my 13yr old was with us. The horses are well cared for and So loved! We rode on Auggie (who had a mind of his own), Dexter and Moonshine! They were well behaved and so smart. The trail itself is so peaceful and pretty. It's definitely an inexpensive thing to add to your to-do lists! Well worth the time and money!

We adore this place! Such a great hands on experience. The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Autumn Baker — Google review
This is a great place to learn FL history and see some farm animals. I took my 16 month old and she had a blast! She even got to feed the chickens! It’s mostly a walking tour, lasts about 90min and you’ll get to ride on the tractor trailer for a little bit of it. We didn’t need a stroller, we did bring water but they have some for sale in the little check-in shop. It’s super cute and all the ladies were super sweet. I’d definitely go again…in cooler weather though, or get there when they open for the first tour.
Ashley Young — Google review
Cannot say enough amazing things about this place. I've been wanting to visit for a while now and finally took my kids there for an impromptu afternoon adventure. We LOVED it!!!! The museum itself is so sweet and the farm very nice. Everything is well cared for and the animals are so cute and happy! We went on a wonderful guided tractor tour with Amanda who was an absolute treasure! She gave us such a wonderful experience, playing and feeding the farm animals and driving through the pretty grounds on their tractor while teaching us some of the rich history this farm is home to. I will 100% be back and would recommend to everyone! Next weekend is their happy Halloween fall festival. With prices this crazy low, a full day of festivities planned, and amazing people working so hard to be considerate to everyone who visits them, this place is a true gem and a definite must see & visit. ❤️

Nature & Parks
Park
Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is a well-maintained park that offers various outdoor activities such as hiking and biking paths. Its beautiful gardens and live oak trees provide visitors with plenty of opportunities for photography, while the picnic area is known for its beach and sightings of dolphins. The park also features a rose garden, ponds and streams, a large play area for kids, volleyball nets, picnic tables, restrooms and even a wedding altar available for reservations.
We loved walking around the grounds! We found this looking to kill some time before our Fort Matanzas tour. Only $5 for a day pass, so we came back later in the day to see the rest. Beautiful rose garden, a plant sale in the morning, lovely little pond, huge beautiful old trees, butterflies and flowers. Gift shop has AC and cute locally made items. Take water and a fan and bug spray if you do the walking trail. It starts out shady but you lose all cover as you get closer to the shore, and it got HOT! We did the bottom loop and came back along the old highway. Saw a lot of wildlife.
Sally Clinebelle — Google review
This is a much smaller state park than most I've visited. Grounds are nice...the gazebo and huge oaks especially. Water features needed some upkeep though; foamy, green algae and stagnant water smell/think pond water (off-putting, but not terrible). Keep in mind, it is Florida and high temperatures and high humidity makes it hard to keep up with the algae! The little bridges throughout the park had some loose boards also. Lots of benches to stop and rest on. Restrooms available also. Good amount of parking and a small gift shop. Drinks and small snacks available in the gift shop at very reasonable prices (name brand canned sodas just under $1 each!). I do highly recommend crossing over A1A and visit the beach side of the state park. The $5 entrance fee covers both sides of the state park. Nice parking area, about 20 spots, with two port-a-potty "restrooms". The beach is made up of sand and crushed seashell. Very clean. The infamous rocks are a short distance from the beach access point. The rock formations are extremely fascinating. Pretty unique for Florida, not something you see on most beaches throughout the state. Makes for interesting and beautiful landscape pictures or wedding/maternity/engagement/spiritual (as in, capturing the essence of you and nature). I really enjoyed the rocks. Swimming isn't recommended there; submerged rocks and no lifeguards. Better to just go north a little to an actual beach. So, in my opinion, I wouldn't travel a long distance just to visit the gardens and rocks. It would be better as a stop on the way back, or through, during your main trip.
Michelle Coile — Google review
Very beautiful garden and walk that I wish I could've seen the rest of. The staff however is 50/50 with their cordiality as one ranger in particular pestered us for being misguided by confusing directions we were given to see the Cocina rocks and instead happened upon an employees only area without realizing.
Adam Kenski — Google review
Amazing, peaceful, scenic and recharges the spirit! A gorgeous park! I love going here. Definitely recommend walking the park trails - it feels like you are in the jungle! So many photo op spots and a lot of room so it doesn't feel to touristy. They have clean outhouses too. The gazebo is a must stop for photos and to listen to the water fountains.
Lorraine Toth (Pinupmakeover) — Google review
Five stars just because of 2 main attractions, Beach and Sighting Dolphins at the picnic area. Rest Park is well maintained, have Rose garden and lot of Oak trees ready to cuddle you in their shades. Whole bunch of photography spots. They do have Wedding altar and allow reservations for photography too. Quite enjoyable experience watching fishes in the little ponds n streams of water. They sell flowers and other plants too from their greenhouse. Have large playarea for kids, Volleyball nets, picnic tables, restrooms etc amenities.
Pramod Verma — Google review
This place is absolutely gorgeous. Truly a beautiful place where you can explore, run, relax, fish, take the kids for a stroll, have a picnic, or even a wedding! There was a beautiful small ceremony taking place there when I visited with my two little ones today. Facilities and grounds are beautifully maintained. Grounds overall are wheelchair and double stroller accessible, there is ample seating throughout the grounds, comfortable naturally shaded areas to picnic, pristine waters where a few people were fishing. This is truly a great visit and worth the time! It's beautiful background makes it perfect for both a romantic date or happy family picnic. 10/10 recommend! Admission includes the beautiful beach across the street and is only a flat $5. Definitely will be returning!
Ashley Ramos-Duffy — Google review
Beautiful place to spend some time hiking or enjoying the gardens. However, the beach of the park was closed due to the aftermath of the recent hurricane. Additionally, some trails appeared to be a bit overgrown, presumably as a result of the same hurricane. Despite these minor inconveniences, overall, it was a very pleasant experience
Ilya N — Google review
It's always interesting to learn about and see history. This park and it's beautiful gardens are very pleasant and interesting to walk through. Worth the visit just to see the wonderful oak trees!
Edward Prosienski — Google review
What a beautiful State Park. Lots of big huge Oak Trees. A garden. I will admit it was a bit hot and I probably will go back when it cools down a little bit but what a beautiful place to go. Across the street was the ocean and the other side was the hiking. The hike was about 1.7 miles
Linda Maloney — Google review
This is NOT a swimming park. There is two entrances. The one to the right takes you to the beautiful rock covered ocean front. The sand is EXTREMELY shell pieces covered. You will want some sort of footwear to even walk down the beach. The rocks are not slippery for the most part but the waves can get very large and dangerous and there are lots of holes in the rocks. My 8 year old was able to navigate it easily by himself but several other kids there got too close and got banged up by rocks. The left entrance is to the gardens where you have to pay a fee to get in. The gardens are quite small and there is zero entry to the water on that side and the visitor center is very small, but it is well shaded and very pretty. Worth going to see once in my opinion.
Kelly — Google review
This is a beautiful state park that is well worth a drive. There is a beach area annex with a large amount of coquina shells that the ocean tide splashes through. In the main part of the park, there are hiking trials, a garden, a small museum, a playground, picnic tables, and plenty of clean restrooms. The Gardens are absolutely beautiful, and a wonderful place to take a peaceful stroll and admire all the beautiful plants and their beautiful arrangement around the garden. I saw a gift shopped at the park, but when I visited on a Tuesday, it was closed. Dogs are welcome at the park. However, you cannot bring them into the garden area or on the beach. This park does not offer any camping, but it is a wonderful place to spend the day.
Courtney Ford — Google review
The park has two parts: one with a nice garden and lake view and across the highway is the beach. There are a few trails that you can walk in the forest. Entrance fee is $5 per vehicle and you can can purchase is from the kiosk or drop off in the collection box. The beach could get really windy and chilly during winter time.
Jenen Tan — Google review
This is a perfect Florida experience. $5 gets you in the state park. The gardens are beautiful and I can't help imagining how it would look each season. Pack a picnic, bring fishing poles and your camera. To walk the beautiful and well groomed trails is only about 1/2 mile. Highly recommend. If you are lucky, you'll see manatee (we weren't lucky).
Valerie Hanson — Google review
This park is a lovely walk through the gardens that borders the Intracoastal. (If you prefer a trail that is available too located closer to the entrance on the right.) There is a gift shop and bathroom across and next to the garden area. If you drive further down the road inside the park you will find bathrooms and picnic areas available. Dogs are not permitted inside the garden but are allowed in the picnic and trail areas.
Jenifer F — Google review
Beautiful park with nice walking trails. Magnificent oak trees with weeping Moss and a flower garden. Quaint little gazebo with a wrap around pond. Large lake water fishing area located in the back of the park for boating too.
Ocean Rain — Google review
A pleasant little park for a picnic, a longer place to walk the dogs, and a nice garden area (no dogs). Part of the original section of A1A is still there that can be walked on also. There is a playground and restroom facilities at the south end of the park along with a museum building along one of the walking paths. A nice day trip.
Ken Kirby — Google review
Washington Oaks is a lively place to take a leisurely stroll through the woods, tour carefully curated flower gardens, fish, play, bike, and just exist with nature. The rangers and volunteers are lovely people and care deeply for their park, offering events open to the public and participating in local wildlife conservation. The public beach access across the street is also part of, and maintained by, the park and is a local sea turtle nesting ground that rangers and trained volunteers help with. The restroom facilities are typical for a state park and are kept clean, parking is available in several parts of the park, and the entirety is very accessible.
Kevin Childs — Google review
Had a great walk throughout the gardens. We went a little early in the season, so the flowers weren’t all out, but the azaleas were blooming and the park is just gorgeous year round.
joanna spellman — Google review
this was my second visit to Washington Oak State Park. Last time was in the spring and I wanted to see it in the fall. It was just as lovely and not as hot! A lot of restoration work is being done, and the groundskeepers are working hard every time I go. I went to the garden section 1st and then crossed the street to the beach side where I discovered a very interesting coquina formation. I had not seen the first time. It is a bit of a walk so you will need to wear comfortable shoes. The restrooms were clean and easily accessible as was the parking. Note~ lots of bees in the rose garden if you are allergic
Paula Hamlin — Google review
Beautiful Sate park! If you haven’t gone go! Take a stroll along the water and fish 🎣 or bring a picnic basket to eat while you enjoy the views. I also saw that they do weddings and have plant sales periodically.
Gina Honold — Google review
Encompassing forest and shore habitats, this well maintained and relaxing park has been a regional favorite for decades. The formal gardens under the oak trees are spectacular, and the pavilion seems custom made for weddings. A local garden club utilizes the lovely green houses here and offer monthly plant sales to the general public. Hiking, fishing and picnic opportunities are to be enjoyed here as well and the entry free is very reasonable.
Wind Tree Studios — Google review
Beautiful views. Well maintained garden. Beach back open. Plants for sale once a month. Can book your weddings there. Saw dolphins today. Been there three times over several years and every time the fountains were in clean and made the gardens near them smell. Butterflies and bees love this place and I can't blame them with lots of variety of flowers.
NA NA — Google review
These trees are absolutely epic. I also learned that Spanish moss is a cousin of the pineapple which I still don’t fully understand but I think it’s cool.

3/9/24: Met up with my friends here for the first time. She said it's "pretty". I will have to see about that! There better be something yummy here. Admission is 5 bucks. Highlights: 1. Beautiful scenic view making wonderful backdrops for photoshoots 2. Nature trails 3. Plant Sale (today): ummm 🧐 I guess if you are folks who like growing and collecting a bunch of common, native, useless (non-edible) plants, then this might be a kudo. This is definitely not of my interest. 😂 No offense to the lovers. 4. Private public restrooms are clean Cons: 1. It's a state park with no playground. 2. Definitely not kid-friendly. 3. No pets and no bikes allowed. 4. Rose Garden- They have the most pitiful looking rose garden.

Princess Place Preserve is a vast 2,200-acre land situated along the river banks. This historical location boasts of a 19th-century lodge and the first artesian fed in-ground swimming pool in Florida. It is an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts with its numerous hiking, biking, and equestrian trails that offer breathtaking scenery. The park also features several areas for camping, BBQs, fishing spots and facilities to host events throughout the year.
Beautiful preserve land! Great place to enjoy nature. It's also a historical location with the first artesian fed in ground swimming pool in Florida. It has many nature trails to bike or walk. Areas to camp and have a BBQ. Many places to fish. I highly recommend a visit to Princess Place!
Tyler V — Google review
Very cool and more important not so crowded place to camp, kayak and hike. Eagles nesting, many water birds and east deer grazing are among the things to observe. Several very roomy camping spots along the Mantanzas river private and away from boating due to various small islands and shallow waters. Highly recommend for long weekend getaways!
Dave Witt — Google review
Great quiet location on the water. Lots of relaxing walking trails. I stayed in one of three full furnished two bedroom cabins. The cabins have fully equipped kitchens, screened porch, and private access to the river.
David Overstreet — Google review
This is a lovely county park with so much to do! There's picnicking and grilling, camping, big empty fields where you can do Frisbee or tag football or whatever you want to bring. There's a historic residence and the state's first swimming pool. Canoe and kayak launches and places to fish. LOTS of hiking trails. The smaller ones were all loops that led to the same area, so you could do a 1.5 mile loop, then walk over to the next one and do another mile, and choose from 3 others of similar size. It's not like being on a 5 mile trail and realizing halfway through that you don't want to do it more but you have to walk all the way back anyways. That said, there were much longer hikes to the West for those who want a more substantial hike. There's no entrance fee to this county park.... But it also has underwhelming in bathrooms that were out of toilet paper. All things considered, though, this is definitely a place to visit many many times.

I frequent the princess place at least 1 a month because I love nature and the scenery but i enjoyed myself at the Native American festival!!! it was my first time attending the festival and I had a blast!!! I really recommend coming to experience this festival in the future to educate yourself and have fun, you won't regret it.

Great space with plenty of shade, pit, picnic table, nice and level primitive tent only spot Moody 4 well worth it. Breathtaking sunrise view. Friendly and knowledgeable park staff, easy. Check in. Fishing and kayak launch right on the spot!

One of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the entire state. The tour was very interesting and all of this is free! You must visit here. I am excited to go back and camp or rent one of the cottages.

A nice place to get-away. Got a cottage for a couple of days. Check in was easy, even though it was after hours. Great location, I can see the water off the back porch, which is enclosed. Cottage is very nice, has all the necessities. You just need to bring food, drink and spices. Cottage has a water cooler! Peaceful, relaxing getaway.

Friends and I attended the Native American Festival at Princess Place today. Beautiful event in a stunning setting. The knowledge we've lost--or at least have pushed aside--from these cultures that show great respect for nature is a sad state of affairs.
Barbara Brunner — Google review
Beautiful park, but lack of enforcement and poor, driving people speeding in and out of the place. Bathrooms were messy and not kept up.
Rich Murphy — Google review
This is an excellent preserve. The hiking trails are very scenic and enjoyable. There are multiple trails of varying lengths, some are fairly short and others are long. Everything is well-maintained. It is also a cool place to see historical and architectural relics.

If you appreciate history and architecture you would enjoy it. This is a great place for hiking and riding your horses. The grounds are taken care of extremely well. We truly enjoyed it.
Betty Cromeenes — Google review
It is a peaceful walk on the trails. A nice place for you and your pup to be Together in nature. my doggie and I walked around for 4 hours! It was a nice get away right in our back yard. There are cottages to rent too! And kayaking!
Julia Salvucci — Google review
2023-08-02: I visited this place late afternoon. It was very hot and humid, and I think there would be more wildlife to photograph early in the morning. There are rocking chairs on the back deck of the estate with a beautiful view of Pellicer Creek. There are nice trails you can drive your vehicle. There are a few muddy areas, and I'm sure after a rain it could be even more muddy.

Nice little park/boat launch. It has a playground for the kids and a few docks on the Intercoasta waterway for fish and viewing wildlife. We see dolphins and manatees there quite often.
Brian Keck — Google review
Lots of turning space, adequate docking space, decent park, great food at the restaurant. The only drawback is the quick transition on the ramp means lower trailers will drag hard as they pass over the edge.
Mike Allan — Google review
Beautiful place for a high tide kayak trip. Lots of islands to paddle out to. Dolphins playing in the river are a common sight. The Boat ramp has a lot of amities with clean bathrooms, large parking area, an historical marker and a BBQ restaurant on site.

Good stop, with a little jewel, an archaeological site called Mala Compra (Bad Purshase). In Spanish times it seems that it was so conflicting living in that place that no body stayed long enough to reclaim the land.

Great park, very clean, lots of space to explore. Good size playground for the kids. Beautiful water front. And the Archaeology site was so fascinating. A nice place to stop, rest on some benches, grab some BBQ, and Let your kids run around. They have shade, picnic tables, a little history in the old Plantation building, and a great BBQ at Captains. We got our food, sat at a table and my boys could run while I enjoyed a meal. This is a perfect place to just chill for an hour with free parking.

Very nice. Good access for boats (small) the areas for fishing are several decks. The deck conditions are starting to get weathered. It’s Florida and it’s normal. Saw several Manatees, Dolphins and Birds… caught a couple small fish. Mangrove Snapper and a Snook

Great little fishing spot even though all you'll catch are catfish😂 there are clean bathrooms, shade, a nice little playscape, and it connects up with a paved walking path/bike trail that runs about for miles! If you walk the 3.5 mile path, the views are breathtaking.

Absolutely Beautiful . I recommend coming here with your family for your biking , walking , and rollerblading. It was a really pretty park with paths in the woods and along the waterfront .

We loved the shaded corn hole area in the morning. A paddle board and kayak kiosk are a new one for me and these can be rented $25 hr through an app. The new launch is nice and safe with steps and handrail. Bathrooms are clean and the little park is fun for kids around 4 years old. There is ample parking and handicap parking available. There is a shaded picnic table area and a fairly large fishing pier. A really nice park that the city does a nice job of caring for.

Waterfront Park is located on the ICW( intracoastal waterway). There are barbecues bathrooms, bicycle pump and fix area. There are tables to sit at in the shade just in front of the bathrooms. There is a T shaped fishing pier. There is an emergency phone right next to the bathrooms. The paths around the park are all paved and there is a children's memorial park about 300 m North along the waterfront. There is lots of parking. The county is building a kayak launch next to the park that is under construction right now. It gets a little crowded on weekends in this park so the best days are the weekdays. Waterfront Parks hours are 7:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. 7 days a week.

Waterfront Park at European village is a wonderful place to walk along the water. It is my favorite place to walk when I'm in Palm Coast. You can also bike there. There are ample pathways that are wide and let bikes pass by pedestrians. I'm a pedestrian and once was run over by a bike so this is important that the path be wide! There are signs along the way. There are a few Parks connected to the waterfront Park. There is a bathroom at the end of the trail so keep going if you need to find a bathroom like I did! I met several well behaved dogs along the way with their owners, which I enjoyed. Everyone seems to be cleaning up after their dogs.

This place is awesome- the staff are professional and polite. The food is very good, you will not go wrong with any selection. The chicken and waffles is a must have! The strawberry flavored butter is so good.

Food and service is great. Prices are reasonable and they are very flexible with how you order......adding to or taking away things with your order if you will.

Food is great. Served relatively fast, depending on crowd size. Had the San Francisco eggs Benedict today. It was quite good. Think they should do it with a fried green tomato instead of red but I guess then they'd have to call it southern eggs Benedict.

Visited here while on vacation. This place is amazing. This is a popular place. The wait was not too bad but it’s well worth it. Place was clean service was great. If your looking for a place to have breakfast/brunch this is it.

A Fantastic Culinary Experience My visit to Metro Diner in Palm Coast, Florida was a delightful treat. The ambiance was cozy and inviting with a wonderful vintage vibe. The staff were notably friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable about the menu. I savored their signature dishes; the freshness and quality were truly commendable. There's a little room for improvement with the crowded layout and slightly long wait times during peak hours. Nonetheless, it is a place I would recommend for a quality meal in a charming setting. Four out of five stars.

The food and service was wonderful!! This will be a regular stop whenever we are in the area. The chicken and waffles and the shrimp and grits were amazing! The reuben and the biscuits with sausage gravy were also good.

On our family vacation recently, our 1st stop, we had the pleasure of dining at Metro Diner, that left US absolutely impressed. The dishes that we tried were absolutely delicious & full of flavor, making for a truly unforgettable dining experience. Firstly, my wife ordered the Charleston shrimp & grits which were out of this world. The grits were made into a cakes & perfectly cooked, top with a creamy sauce & served with large succulent shrimp that had been expertly seasoned. The dish had just the right amount of spice, the flavors were well balanced, making it a dish that my wife would order time & time again being that she is a huge fan of seafood. I ordered, The beef tips served with homemade mashed potatoes with mushrooms & brown gravy, The beef was cooked to perfection, & the mushroom gravy was rich & flavorful. The mashed potatoes were creamy & smooth, with just the right amount of butter & seasoning. It was an incredibly satisfying & comforting dish that left me feeling completely satisfied. Now on to The crispy, yet juicy chicken & fluffy waffles with strawberry butter was another standout dish. The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior & juicy, tender meat. The waffles were light & fluffy, with a delicious hint of sweetness that paired perfectly with the savory chicken. The strawberry butter added a lovely fruity flavor that brought the entire dish together. The portions were very generous, even the kid’s menu had LARGE portions making it great value for money, & we appreciated the effort put into the presentation of each dish. The flavors & textures were all expertly balanced, making each a true delight. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying meal. The shrimp & grits, beef tips & mashed potatoes, the chicken and waffles were all exceptional dishes that were full of flavor and made for an unforgettable dining experience. We WOULD DEFINITELY BE BACK!! Definitely a memorable dining experience that left a lasting impression.

Nice diner I was greeted as soon as I walked to the door and seated with no waiting, my table was nice and clean. I ordered the protein breakfast which includes four eggs, bacon, and turkey sausage. Everything was cooked perfectly. There's lots of parking . I noticed an outside deck which looks like a nice place to sit when the weather cooperates. The deck has a roof and is in the shady part of the building. I would definitely come here again.

After extremely poor service, orders being wrong and questionably low brow overpriced food I unfortunately have to update my rating. What happen to metro diner? 3$ charge for bacon on burger we didn’t get, cheese burger bowl with half a cheese burger patty and wilted lettuce in a bowl. Such a shame metro used to be so great! What happened? Where are the owners? Wish I could say this was a one off but it’s been reoccurring for quite some time now. What a shame.

Metro Diner is a pretty decent spot to grab some food. Not the cheapest place to eat at but not that expensive either. Located in Palm Coast so a lot of traffic in and out. The food was pretty good and the waitress was very fast and friendly. All in all not a bad place

So, this place has some interesting flavors. Mashed potatoes and brown gravy that came with my fried chicken had a strange flavor that we could not identify. The fried chicken was great! Grits good. Large chicken tenders! Biscuits were dry and need butter in their flour. Service was good,Gracie is very sweet :). Over all, not bad, but not 4.7/5 for any of the 4 of us.

I like the flavors of the waffles always and also the bread pudding. But for some reason the chicken does not taste the same. Still good though.

Italian restaurant
La Piazza Cafe is a delightful eatery in Palm Coast, known for its charming atmosphere and traditional Italian cuisine. With both indoor and outdoor seating options, this bistro offers a memorable dining experience. It is highly regarded among the top restaurants in the area, serving exceptional Italian dishes that are freshly prepared upon order. In addition to their delectable food, La Piazza also provides an extensive selection of coffee, wine, and cocktails.
Listen...If you haven't been to this area let alone this restaurant you are missing out. European village is the best place for a nice time out or date night in general...from shops to coffee to food... amazing. To top it off, this restaurant is everything you want and hope for with Italian cuisine! I work for a company that hosts seminars in the area and we use this restaurant all the time throughout the year. Best service ever... dropping a few names Larry & Larry Jr, Jo Jo, Rene, etc.. the list goes on. They make you feel at home when you come in and part of their Italian family. We use the wine room for our events and it is perfect for parties of 20+. Highly recommend if you need a pretty Italian spot for a party of any sort..They also have seating outside on nice days and it truly is a treat. I want to sincerely thank all the staff and managers for the service with our company. They make it super easy and we will be back throughout the year and for years to come! -Best Mikayla- Team N&L Wealth Builders! P.S. I have attached some pictures of the room so you get the idea! (:

There’s Italian and then there’s La Piazza. I could taste every ingredient in my food. It’s absolutely delicious. I recommend the Eggplant dish and the Key Lime Tart. Thank you for such a great experience.

Nothing but excellence. Sat outside since we had a dog with us. Owner was delightful. Waitstaff lovely. Food delicious. I brought my out of town tourist friends and will definitely have this on my list for any future visitors. We did seafood, veal, chicken, baked brie. And a bottle of wine. I’ll be returning very soon!!

Been wanting to go to this restaurant for sometime. Finally went a couple of weeks ago and I was not disappointed. I’ve been trying to have a good veal dish and so far in the entire area I have not yet to find one until I came here. My veal dish was so tender I couldn’t cut it with a fork my husband had veal Parm and his was equally delicious. The service was very good and the atmosphere was pure Italian. it is pricey but worth the visit especially for a special occasion The wine again it’s very pricey just for a low pour glass. I wish they would have BYOB in Florida like they do in New Jersey where I come from this way you can bring your own wine and not spend $110 for dinner for two. Being that said it is a very good place and I will definitely come back.

This is one of my favorite places to dine. It boasts of outstanding & authentic Italian food made fresh to order. My husband & I dined outside under the canopy. It was so pleasant & reminiscent of the many times that we dined al fresco in Italy. Our waiter was very professional and efficient. He made sure that we were contented with bread & wine while we waited for our entrees. We will surely be returning to La Piazza in the future. If you plan to dine there, be sure to call for a reservation. They don't use Google reserve!

What a gem! La Piazza created a wonderful group dinner for about 30 of us visiting from Jacksonville. It exceeded my expectations in every way, including the very warm ambiance. We were served several appetizers that were all delicious (calamari, antipasto, and lobster bruschetta). My husband and I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The wine list was impressive, as were the assortment of desserts. We were pleased to meet the father and son team who created this very special place, and we will be back!

What a nice surprise to find a genuine Italian restaurant on my travels. Incredibly welcoming - lovely indoor and outdoor spaces - and fantastic servers. Owner Larry was incredibly attentive and made the evening better. Encrusted lamb was cooked perfectly - Scallops to die for and a Bolognase that tasted home cooked with care. Wine list was excellent and reasonable. Low markup and nice selection. Wine available to take out as well at very reasonable cost. Lobster Bruchetta was a winner! Ceasar Salad with Anchovies is a must have as well. Thank you Larry - and your staff for making a visitor from Washington , DC happy! I look forward to visiting sometime soon .

Excellent dining experience, from the welcoming of the hostess, the attentive server, the excellent bread and oil, super fresh house salad with perfect blend of dressing. The pasta ( genovese) was supreme. I certainly will be back.

Whoa! I thought Osteria was the only heavy hitter in Palm Coast, but I was pleasantly proven wrong. Our waitress was knowledgeable not only of the specials but the wine list as well. We started with Greco de Tufo wine off the special bottle list, a wonky unknown white wine from the west coast of Italy. Then we started with two house salads, an antipasto board. Honestly, we could have left and felt great! We wouldn’t have known, but we would have missed, because these entrées were out of this world. My fiancé got raviolis with seafood scallops, doused in a goat cheese cream sauce. I got the Seabass over risotto. Phenomenal. Best wine list in the city, top notch food, and excellent service. I bet 5 different employees touched out table refilling waters or bussing plates. We can't wait to go back!

Best restaurant in town!! One or both of the owners is there at any given time and treat all guests like family. They have the best wine selection in town with the most reasonable prices! The prime beef and the fresh fish is ALWAYS on point. Get it with a side of pasta! You’ll be happy you did. Don’t forget the homemade dessert too!! 😋 Can’t say enough about how much we enjoy this place! Comfortable atmosphere and amazing staff!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would !!

Not their best showing. Our waitress was friendly though something happened with our order to seriously delay our food service; delayed enough that we felt the need to complain and ask. We never received an explanation of what happened. One of our party had to ask for clean utensils since her own had stuck on food. The kitchen must have run out of whipped cream. Our desserts, unlike others we had seen, came with none. Overall, the meal was good, but the portions for the surf and turf were very small and bread wasn't served with the meal until a passing waitress discovered the oversight. This experience taught me to never again accept another prix fixe reservation for which a restaurant insists that a tip (20%) be included.

La Piazza hosted my son’s first birthday party. Larry Jr was so pleasant to talk to and explained everything beforehand. We had 23 people who came. We chose the family style meal with nonalcoholic drinks, a house salad, two appetizers and three entree selections, which was $42 per adult and $21 per kid. The kids ordered from the kid’s menu. They were very accommodating and removed the pork from the pasta at one guest’s table. Everyone ate til they were stuffed. One of my friends said the food was better than her wedding (same!). I especially loved the chicken Alfredo and lasagna. The room was beautiful on its own with plenty of space and it was so cool to have it to ourselves. The wooden tables were long and wide and way too pretty for tablecloths. We had two servers that refilled our drinks like magic and made sure everyone had what they needed. We came in an hour early to set up and had 3 hours to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate my boy. It was absolutely worth it and the area itself is gorgeous and fun to explore. You won’t regret it!

My wife and I came here for our anniversary. We have been here before we love it for special occasions. We started out with the only appetizer you need which is the lobster bruscetta! Next we had Caesar salads. Our entre's were chicken and veal Parmigiano. I must say that was the softest veal I had in a long time. If you love Italian food this is the place!

386 is a relaxed eatery and bar located in Palm Coast, FL, offering a diverse menu of New American cuisine. This establishment is renowned for its delicious American favorites and is considered one of the top restaurants in the area. It is highly anticipated by locals and visitors alike, especially those who come to Flagler Beach annually. The dedicated staff, led by Frank, works tirelessly to ensure that every customer's needs are met.
First of all, the owner here is awesome. Frank is an accommodating and personable host. It’s always a privilege to eat at his establishment. The food is incredible and I’ve never had anything come out of the kitchen that was less than excellent. I’ve enjoyed every single dish from 386. Great wine selection as well. The red sauce here reminds me of my grandmother’s, which has been passed down for generations from Sicily. Also, the food selection is diverse. From escargot to steaks, everything is incredible. I’ve been here several times and felt it was necessary to leave a review. To the owner and staff, thank you for consistently wonderful experiences. I always look forward to coming back and would recommend 386 to anyone who asked. Probably the best restaurant in Palm Coast.

One of our favorite spots! The food is always on point, and the hospitality is warm, comfortable, and pleasant. Frank treats you like family! He knows everyone's names, continuously checks in, and catches up with you. We tried something different yesterday: we went by boat, parked at Bing’s Landing, and strolled across the street. It was such a pleasant way to get there. They added new items with an Asian flare (curry scallops and shrimp over rice noodles) to the menu, which was right up my alley. I cannot wait to go back!

DO NOT GO HERE. WE GOT OUR CREDIT CARD INFO STOLEN. We had not used our debit cards at all our whole vacation due to going with my in laws. We went out for one date night and the lady who i presumed to be the owner said they just opened 2 days ago. The menu was completely different than the one online and they didn’t have half the drinks. After eating the woman kept coming up and asking about our experience which was fine. When it came time to check out she used her phone to take our transaction on the card which i found odd. She also used a calculator to add up the taxes. The whole experience was out of place. Next thing you know 12 fraudulent charges!!

The best restaurant in Palm Coast never disappoints. Fine dining is one of our great pleasures in life and 386 is one of the top restaurants for creative dishes in Northeast Florida. Enjoy the large bar with a wide selection of great wines and beers. The food selections are extensive with "specials" each night. The seafood selections are usually the choice of my wife and I and are fantastic. The sauces are delicious. Other family members have had the steaks and say they were the best they had (including those at other fine dining steakhouses). Many delicious appetizers. Can't wait to go back for the crispy duck. Love the casual, "Island vibe" the location generates.

This was not a pleasant dining experience. We went because of the 5 star review on Google. Our server introduced himself as our waiter and proprietor...didn't get his name He took our wine order and came back and took our food order...we did not see him after that. We watched other tables get water and bread and finally asked a nearby server for water and bread as our "waiter" was no where to be found. Our meals were very late...others seated after us were served first. When our meals finally did arrive, the potatoes were gummy and cold, my "medium" Filet was practically raw in the center with little to no seasoning. The only good thing on the plate were the carrots. NOTHING was worth the $160 price tag...not the food or the service although my dogs did enjoy the raw steak that I brought home for them...never again
Mchele Collins — Google review
The food was delicious and the servers were friendly . Taking off two stars because they are charging fine dining prices with dive bar decor. Things weren't dirty necessarily but just kind of shabby. The servers were friendly but they forgot things. If they spend about a grand on fresh paint, some new drapes and pillows, they could dramatically improve the quality of the dining experience.
aaronmit — Google review
The only thing resembling "fine dining" was the prices. The restaurant was run down, the food was good but not great. The wine was very good, but we were only given the choice of two $100 bottles of wine rather than a wine list. And there were no vegetarian options.

This place is a GEM!!!! Frank is force of nature but gracious to a t! We had not only an amazing dining experience (conch fritters and beer salad to start both WINNERS) but my 93 yr old mother in law DEVOURED her crab covered grouper smiling from ear to ear!(my husband had scallops that he loved and my Mexican triggerfish made it into my dreams that night!) our only complaint was that we loved the first two courses so much, we had no room to try the desserts! We will definitely be back again and again and again!

We come to 386 every year we come down to Flagler Beach. Every year, it's one of the most anticipated meals that we look forward to. Every year, Frank is all in and takes care of us. We have been living in the area for 6 years and hadn't visited because of what we heard about prices. We finally went and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was great and prices were very similar to other restaurants that we have recently been to. Service was a bit slow because they are short on staff. Overall great experience and will definitely go back.

The owner was having an extremely rough night. I get having a bad day, but his attitude completely killed the evening. The table next to us left, because he was so rude. Two others tables made comments about him being a jerk. We could barely order before he would run off, so there were things we needed and never got. No one at our table got a water refill, the dinner napkins were brought out unfolded and set in a pile in front of us, and you could not split a check. Absolutely do not come here if you have kids! He was annoyed when we asked if they had a kid’s menu. We also saw him smack down menus while seating another table and mutter that every table had freaking kids. The food was delicious, but I would never want to come back here after this experience.

Outstanding food with a wide variety of menu options. However, the restaurant was short staffed the night we dined- one server for the restaurant and bar. Decor is outdated and dingy. Again the food is excellent and prices are fair. Would dine again but be sure to bring your patience.

We live in St. Augustine but were vacationing at Hammock Beach when we came across this gem of a restaurant. The owner, Frank, was very welcoming and took excellent care of us. There were 6 of us and every dish was amazing! I had the Georgia Bank scallops over Parmesan Risotto and delightful balsamic bacon glaze...absolutely fantastic. Other family members had Sockeye Salmon with a Dill Hollandaise, MexicanTriggerfish, & Chicken Scarpariello. Everyone raved about their dishes. We loved it so much we went again the very next night! This time there were 18 of us and EVERYONE said thank you for introducing them to 386! Rave reviews! We had the molten lava cake and the best Cannoli since I left New York! Our waitress was so sweet and Frank, very accommodating. He made everyone feel at home. We will be back, for sure! Thanks, Frank.

Captain's BBQ is a casual eatery by the waterfront that specializes in slow-cooked meats and sides prepared in a wood-burning smoker. It is renowned as one of Florida's top barbecue spots, not just in Palm Coast. Their menu offers delectable options like smoked St. Louis Ribs, pulled pork, and beef brisket, all infused with their distinctive blend of BBQ flavors. The food is expertly cooked to perfection, leaving your taste buds tantalized.
This is the best BBQ that I have eaten in a long time. The service was very fast on this busy New Year's Day. The setting is pleasing to the eye and accessible by boats, kayak or land. Dog friendly too at least outside. I'll be back!

Apr 2024: Came in on a Wednesday night. It is counter service style, so you can pick wherever you want to sit. Great views of the park and river. Ordered the half chicken with smashed yams and beans. Also got a couple ribs and the brisket plate with mac&cheese and beets. Everything was fantastic. The chicken and sides were so flavorful. Brisket was a bit dry this day, but everything else was perfect. I would highly recommend if you love BBQ.

We stopped by on a whim. Very happy we did. We each got the 3 sliders sampler - smoked turkey, pulled pork and brisket - plus 2 sides. Mac & cheese, coleslaw and potato salad were tasty. The macaroni salad was too sweet and used shell macaroni instead of elbow which I prefer. Nice to sit and watch the boat traffic pass by as you eat your meal.

Good food and good experience. Ribs and brisket were great, meat falls off the bones tastiness. Pull pork were good too. Coleslaw was okay, Mac and cheese were good, collard greens were great, and yams were really sweet.

I have been wanting to visit the captain's BBQ for a while. It was well worth it, the food was excellent. I had the Friday special which was a brisket sandwich and took the cornbread side and got a cookie for dessert. Seating on a deck has a nice scenic view of the intercostal waterway, the deck is all screened in so you don't get eaten by bugs. I can always judge a barbecue place by the cornbread, and this cornbread was good, just wish it was a bigger slice of cornbread. On weekends and weekend evenings this place is very busy and there is a wait to get seats. I went Friday afternoon about 1:30 and it was very easy to get a seat anywhere I wanted and there was no waiting in any lines. I would definitely return.

I ate here several years ago and was not impressed, but I was craving some BBQ and a lot of the reviews were 5 star so I gave it another try. Probably won't again. First, let me say I grew up in the south where there was good BBQ on every corner, and I also recognize that everyone's taste is different. I had the rib dinner with 5 St Louis ribs, baked beans, and potato salad. Like I said, I am from the south where a good potato salad is a staple. The ribs were good. They were big and meaty and literally falling off the bone, maybe a little to much. They were almost just mushy. I don't use sauces since I like to taste the meat and the smoke flavor, and these were good without sauce. I like southern mustard potato salad and this was not. Mostly mayo and dill. It wasn't bad, just not good enough for me to finish it. The baked beans IMO had too much onion and pepper. I like a thick dark (from brown sugar) consistency and this wasn't it. I know, individual tastes. I will say that the staff were very friendly and helpful, better than most places. The view is great as you can sit and look at the water as you eat. It is in a county park at a boat ramp and very scenic. Oh, one other thing. I looked at the menu online before I got there so I would know what to order without waiting since this is a place where you go through the line when you walk in and then they call you for pickup. Online, the menu said the rib dinner was 15.99. When I checked out, they charged 19.99 and I had a drink and an optional corn muffin and the meal was $26 and with tip, I spent over $30 for dinner. There are a lot of places I can go for less than that. And that $4 tea was very weak.

Gotta try this place! Excellent BBQ options. Burt ends were phenomenal. The collards were delicious, the pasta salad was savory. They have a special bbq sauce they make, so good. They also have 10-15 different cheese cakes to choose from. They are located on the water so bring your boat. We really enjoyed this place. Will return again soon.

All four of our dining party really enjoyed the food at Captain’s. The green beans had some spicy sausage in it, which was a delightful surprise. We had the pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, pulled pork tacos, and kids grilled cheese. We will definitely be back.

Had the 2 meat special with ribs and brisket. The ribs were great. The brisket was thin sliced and dry. The mac and cheese side was good but the cornbread was skimpy and dry. Would order the ribs and mac and cheese again but not the brisket or cornbread. They do have a decent nonalcoholic beer selection.

It's a rustic, screen balcony type of ambiance. Semi self-service type. Were you can order by the counter or kiosk. Then, proceed to get to the station to get food and drinks. The lake view was always wonderful. Even the boat landing /parking adds value. ... The service was always excellent. Friendly, attentive, and helpful. There is always an option to take ot away and explore to eat at the picnic tables or balcony at the park. Because it's inside the state park. ... The food was delicious. Our favorite is the ribs platter with potatoes salad and butter corn. The price is more or less around $25-50. We always enjoyed our lunch here. ...

THE place for BBQ. Had a burger with smoked beans on the side. Was legit 10/10 The smoked beans were a complex dish of their own. It has smoked beef in them. Grilled pepppers. Veggies. So smokie sooo good! Get them beans. Very unique dish/side. Staff are very friendly. The place is clean. Water front view patio. Sink to wash hands after the food. I mean. Legit 10/10 BBQ place. I will stop by next time I'm in the area. No doubt. 🤙

THEY DON'T SERVE FRIES! Bbq without fries? You know what.... that's ok because they offer a lot of other sides! Coleslaw just the right amount of savory and sweet. Collard green perfectly seasoned and smoky. Green beans anf cornbread ok but not a fav. Highlight of my plate was rhe smoked brisket...tender juicy and flavorful! Screened outdoor seating avail and a few indoor seats. It is nestled with a wide open space on the water so there are other outdoor areas for you to have a picnic and make most of the beautiful scenery. Lots of parking available for cars and there is a dock if you decide to come by boat. Good BBQ!

First time here the brisket was good, the Mac and cheese was forgettable. So definitely don't get the Mac n cheese. The toast on the brisket sandwich was stale. I enjoy the sauces.

Delicious catch of the day "Red Snapper" with sweet potato hash and the Seafood Chopped Salad. We had great service from the moment we entered the restaurant. The waitress was spot on, very aware of us, and wonderfully friendly... Even while working with one arm in a cast. Price was a little heavier. We had two salads and a main course. Came to just over $115 after tip. The establishment is surrounded by beautiful ocean views and a very nice golf course. Inside was clean and up to date. Overall we would revisit again and recommend it to others!

Our waiter was great, but he was slammed so we only saw him a few times. We didn't make reservations but were lucky to have a table outside. The crab cakes were very good, my chicken had great flavors. Hubby's tuna was ok he said, but he knows to have it cooked just a little more next time. Key lime pie was tasty, but very rich. I suggest sharing a piece rather than one for each.

The cocktails were okay, but it bit high in price. Starter is their homemade bread served in a hot skillet with special herb butter. Grouper, mussels and bang bang shrimp were tasty. Entrees range from $30-$50. Service was great-knowledgeable server. The views of the ocean are spectacular-that is worth coming to this restaurant!

They had a special grouper appetizer that was outstanding. I ordered the redfish and it was excellent. A couple people ordered the special of prime rib but they said that it was not that hot when served. I was impressed that chef thought my fish had been overcooked so they redid and it came out hot and perfect. Our waitress was accommodating.

Great food. Outstanding views. Excellent atmosphere. Our server was great. The food came out fast, very hot and tasty. The view was so relaxing. It was so nice to take it easy on the patio and enjoy the great food and wine. Worth the stop!

The food was incredible all 4 nights we went there. We did starters, entrees and desserts and they were all amazing. The Chilean Sea bass was phenomenal and literally melted in your mouth. Our waiters, Daniel, Patrick and Emerigh, were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations and quick service. Randy and Tayler were particularly amazing with the 2 kids as travelled with that made them feel so special on our final night at the restaurant. It's been over a week and the girls are still talking about how amazing they were. Would definitely go back again and again.

We ordered a seafood tower. First thing we noticed was the crab having little black eggs all over it. We asked what it was, they said it was barnacles but we looked it up and it was some parasite eggs. They are harmless but they should have been cleaned up in the kitchen and looked disgusting. Next thing was that we discovered that 3 of the mussels served to us were dead. You can get very sick eating something like that, they should've never served them. Some other mussels that did open up still had the beard on it so it was obviously not cleaned. Also, the lobster was rubbery and overcooked. Not to mention that the plate came with less items than the menu described. After pointing out a couple of these things, we were obviously not going to eat the rest of this 100$ meal. The supervisor apologized but that's it. It was overall very disappointing. Our server however was a very nice gentleman, definitely not his fault.

I have a lot I want to say about this place I called at 3:45 and asked him if he needed a reservation and they told me that they didn’t and they weren’t busy so I ended up showing up at 4:01 PM and they told me that they were closed from four till five until dinner. they told me I had to order at the bar or wait till five so I ordered at the bar. This is what I got all the food was fantastic. However, I’m just a little irritated that they could’ve told me on the phone wait till five to come.

Took my daughter and son in law here after their informal wedding to celebrate. It was lunch, and we shared Bang Bang shrimp and also honey smoked pork belly appetizers. The shrimp were delicious, crispy with a savory sauce, and chopped green onions. The pork was very tender and came with sauces as well, very tasty. We tried the seafood tower, which had large cocktail shrimp, oysters on the half shell, lobster tail, snow crab, crab salad, and local ceviche It is meant for 2, but 3 of us shared it and it was plenty for lunch. My son in law enjoyed the skirt steak frites, it was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Dessert was key lime pie and seasonal chocolate pie, both delicious. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has spectacular views of the ocean, with outside covered seating available. The only lackluster part was the service, which was not great. The server only came by a few times, and once I had to walk around to find her. The restaurant was mostly empty on a Wednesday morning at 1130, so unattentive service was disappointing. She did, however, comp the bride's dessert, which was greatly appreciated as a nice gesture. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, I would definitely recommend for special occasions. The food was definitely the star of the day. Reservations are recommended.

A special meal was prepared for our vegetarian friend using the coconut curry sauce over rice and veggies. Spicy, but enjoyable. She Crab Soup was delicious. Shrimp Mac & Cheese was very good. Salads were great. Salmon and swordfish both with picatta sauce gave them perfect pizzazz. Thick crab cake was also great. Fingerling potatoes melted in your mouth. Desserts included Key Lime Pie which was nice and tart. Passion Fruit Mango Bread Pudding that was so good the table shared in it. Ice cream and Bananas Foster cheesecake was also ordered. Service was attentive, accommodating, and friendly. View is spectacular! Seating is very comfortable and the restaurant is designed well so you are able to enjoy the evening with friends or family without being g disturbed by other patrons. Highly recommend.

Located in The Lodge building at Hammock Beach Resort & Spa. We went at 7:30am for breakfast. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Shout outs to Kara and Peggy! We sat inside with ocean view table. There is also outside dining which is pet friendly. Husband ordered the Eggs Your Way breakfast and it was well presented and fresh. I ordered the Market Fruits and Berries breakfast which was fresh and very tasty. Will return on remainder of our trip. Sorry no pictures, forgot phone in room.

What a wonderful dining experience. To start, the hostess was gracious enough to seat us without a reservation. We had a beautiful table overlooking the ocean. Our waitress was prompt greeting us at the table and for us quickly started with drinks. We were then served freshly baked dinner rolls that were delicious with butter and a touch of garlic. Both my daughter and I were not extremely hunger so we decided on a couple of small salads and the Rock shrimp Mac and Cheese. I had the Atlantic Grille Salad that was wonderful. The dressing was light and delicious. The small size was perfect. My daughter had the Grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad and she enjoyed hers as well. The Mac and Cheese was a generous portion for an appetizer and I still had plenty left over. I would recommend reservations. We happen to get lucky and arrived early so there was a table but I’d imagine during a more busy time of year we would have been turned down.

You cannot beat the location of this restaurant (although I would install a glass enclosure around the decking for a more unobstructed view of the ocean). The service was OK. We got our apps before our cocktails, which is interesting. It took quite some time for us to get the check when we requested it, as well. The server was pleasant each time when he came to the table. The food was just ok as well; considering the prices. When my husband's steak came out it was over-cooked; they redid it, and it was under-cooked. There was no happy medium. Pun intended. My fish came out and was hot, but the brussels were cold; I had subbed asparagus for the potatoes, and they were forgotten. The fish was great tasting, though. I would try this restaurant again, if in the area. It's too good of a location to cross off my list just yet.

This was my first time and it won’t be my last, even though I live like an hour away. I ordered the passion punch, the beet salad, and the beef tenderloin. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the view was just spectacular.

I have eaten at the Atlantic grill six times. In the past year. I have had a mix of hamburgers and seafood including dessert items. The atmosphere is beautiful overlooking the golf course and the ocean. Of the multiple times I've eaten here, it just seems the food is not up to par, no pun intended. However, I will keep going back in hopes I'll either find my favorite dish or there's a slight increase in quality. The service is excellent, the waitress is always keeping up with an empty glass and asking how your food is. Even though I'm not a golfer, the golfing memorabilia on the wall is very interesting, and rain or shine the view is awesome!
