Coquille River light is a small historic lighthouse that traditionally guided ships in the night. It’s not the huge, towering lighthouse like Yaquina Bay or Heceta Head, buts it’s interesting nonetheless. The park and beach access makes a good stop to stretch your legs from a long drive.

I'm visiting from Illinois and this was a nice little drive after being down on the beach earlier in Bandon. The lighthouse has an interesting story, and the view from this side of the river was really nice. It was windy, but at least the sun was out while I was there. The lighthouse does do a tour, but I'm here during the off season so no tours yet. I'm sure if you are interested you can look up the website and it will give more information. Be aware, if the tide is in and if there is any type of storm, don't go climbing around this area, it can be dangerous. There are signs posted to also stay off the jetty. PS: if you are a geocacher there are some in and around Bandon.

Cute old Lighthouse. Beautiful beach area. We were traveling the coast on vacation and came here on Friday afternoon. They were closed when we got there around 2:30 which was frustrating. But, cute little place. Great ice cream close by in town at Face Rock Creamery.

It was a gorgeous morning, and the sound of the ocean was just relaxing. Was an hour early before the lighthouse itself was actually open for entry.

Beautiful spot! Easy path to the beach. Light house is cool, you can walk right up to it. 10/10 we will go here again.

Wonderful stop to make when in the area! We had a fun time wandering around and taking in the sights.

My partner and I visited in the summer of 2021 and visiting the lighthouse was an amazing experience. So much enriching history. The doors are padlocked and you can’t physically enter the lighthouse but you can climb the steps to the entrance. It was windy and blowing lots of sand but nonetheless beautiful

Fun , no longer in service, lighthouse to visit. Easy to get to, free, and in the beautiful setting of the Oregon coast. It was crazy windy but didn’t spoil our experience. A must see in Bandon.

I'm such a big fan of lighthouses. This is a nice little drive from hwy101 north of Bandon. This is one of the easiest access to a lighthouse I've come across on the coast. You drive right up to the parking area and just a very short walk you're there. Beautiful surroundings with wonderful views. If you're visiting the town of Bandon, this is one of the must do items.

It's a fair little drive off the main road to get here and phone reception is not the best. The lighthouse itself is okay but it's accessessable down to the beach (maybe not for elderly or disabled though as far as I can tell) and you can walk down the pier. You can really feel the power of the ocean here and it's a great view

The lighthouse was very cute. There is a small visitor's center inside. You cannot climb up the tower but you can look up it through a gate. I know you can't control the weather but it is in a very windy location so if you try to walk out towards the beach, prepare for a lot of sand in your face. We were covered when we left. It is still beautiful but just plan accordingly.

Really wanted to get some good Drone pics but it was way to windy I'll get some better pics next time but this is a fun spot to stop care full at the end of the jetty it is very slippery, definitely read the history I find that stuff cool, I almost didn't visit this one cuz it's so far south, but it has interesting historical relevance. The beach is nice, It seems to have a decent amount of drift wood heavy logs, and debris might have been the time of year. I'll dbl check when I drive the coast this summer. Some rolling style dunes so good hike to run a puppy on

It was too dangerous to get across all the logs and driftwood to try to walk on the beach.

Face rock is the most bizarre and incredible rock formation I’ve seen on the Oregon coast. This viewpoint is sweeping and breathtaking. There are pit toilet bathrooms which are accessible. The parking is small and can fill up. There’s a trail down the bluff to the beach below. It’s steep but not unmanageable. One down on the sand, you can walk in both directions right along the rock formations. Sometimes the wind can make the blowing sand miserable. Still, this is a must see place on the Oregon coast.

A favorite spot on the coast to watch the waves crash against the sea stacks. Hope you can find "face rock". She's looking up and pointed to the right. It's also fun to watch the sand art from above if you happen upon that particular weekend.

Beautiful and easily accessible spot for viewing all the named sea stacks and beach below. There's a staircase that goes down to the beach itself. It was extremely windy the day we were there, so there was sand basically sandblasting everyone even up on the cliff above the beach. The wind was actually a little better down on the beach and there was less sand pelting us down there. Nice spot though.

A fantastic little spot! The views were incredible, the beach access was easy to navigate and it was very clean. We especially loved seeing the rainbow colored rocks and will research more on the geology.

Beautiful spot to stop in with the family and your pup! Ample parking and great views! There is a long staircase down to the beach, so unfortunately it’s not great for accessibility.

Absolutely stunning. Bring sunglasses or regular glasses, eye protection of some sort and wrap up your hair in a hoodie or something. There is a lot of sand that blows about as it is very windy and without eye protection it can be difficult to enjoy the beautiful views from the beach. Sunglasses definitely made it more enjoyable. Our daughter has longer hair and a ponytail was not enough, she had to wrap her hair in her hood so that she could see. We had a kite with us and it was so fun. The plastic kites will shred here. We had a nice, durable fabric kite to play in the wind with and it was a very nice time. This is a beautiful place. A must see.

Beautiful windy place. Great spot to view whales. Very small parking lot. Lots of little caves and tunnels to explore. a short flight of steps and your on the beach.

Would be nice if the air more clear but my kids had lots of fun for running around.looking for rocks and shells 👍🏼

What a beautiful day it was in Bandon Oregon! Face Rock is an amazing place to go and see if you have never been here before. Especially on a sunny day.

Honestly my favorite Oregon coast! So many amazing views/rocks/rock formations/sea caves. You can walk the whole beach on the coast line. They even have a trail above it so you can see it up high. You can walk to other scenic points too! I got to see lots of different kinds of birds and best of all, sea lions!! The color on the rocks and the different types are amazing too! I can’t believe I’ve never heard or been here before

Great spot to explore with kids or dogs! You can admire the view from above, or take the steps down the the beach. When the tide is low, you can get to a lot more. It was super windy, but sunny and fun to explore the caves and dunes.

An absolutely gorgeous location that is a must to stop by and check out, you won't regret it. The face rock is really something else when you see it in person.

This was a fantastic stop. A little off the main road but absolutely worth it. Go down the stairs and explore. With any luck, the tide will be right and there will be an awesome labyrinth drawn in the sand. Also check out the caves!

Nice vacation stop for exploring beach sea life. Worth visiting at least once. Pay attention to holes in caves, there’s crabs and stuff :)

This beach is one we hit daily when we visit Bandon. The rocks are interesting, there are tons of shells, agates, sea glass, and interesting collectibles to be had. During low tide there are really good tidepools, and ocean animals like seals, murres, crabs, and gaper clams. The access area at the top has restrooms and parking, with a nice set of stairs down the cliff.

The special thing about this beach is that during the summer if low tide is between 6:00 and 10:00 AM a local group of artists create a huge, extremely creative labyrinth. Takes at least 40 minutes to walk. Different every time. Popular, so they have a shuttle from a nearby park, use it! Of course the beach and rocks are the usual stunningly beautiful.

Great location, friendly office staff,the room was well done, spacious, VERY clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable- firm with a soft, cushiony top. The overall set up and decor were simple, clean and inviting without being over the top. The room was towards the back, so it was fairly quiet. They also provided a fan in the room (huge bonus for someone that sleeps with a fan and most rooms don't have one)! The only downside was there is only stairs to access the second floor, but it looks to be an older motel so that's to be expected. We really did enjoy this room and it felt safe in this area as well. Would definitely recommend.

This is an awesome little place to spend the night. The location is incredible you are a 30sec walk to all the amazing little shops downtown. The price was very reasonable especially when considering the other places were 4x the price when we stayed. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We stayed in the double queen and everything was fairly modern and couldn't hear any noise from either the other suites or the 101 outside. The bathroom was clean and spacious and the water pressure was more than enough to get the grime from camping off! The service was awesome and we were warned to book dinner plans well in advance because the town shuts down pretty much at 8 and everything fills up fast which was very good advice. Overall an awesome experience and we will definitely be back!

Great little motel!! B We made a late evening decision to drive over to bandon. Randomly picked out inn at old Town and made the reservation. We were coming in late, so called the office to confirm our late arrival...11pm. The manager/owner kept the office open, and was very happy and cheerful! Room was everything we needed, clean and comfy bed, warm shower, fridge and microwave. Even the housekeeper was very happy and cheerful! We will certainly stay here next beach trip!!

We were traveling on Christmas weekend and ended up here, did not have a reservation but they did have a room available at a fair price. Was a little nervous when we first looked at it because of the missing siding on the building. Later ,in the daylight, we realized they were doing renovations. My jaw dropped when we opened the room and turned on the light. The room was magnificent. Never have I expected so little and received so much in the way of rooms. We enjoyed strolling downtown with all the Christmas lights. We will definitely stay again.

Fantastic hotel right next to/ across the street from Old Town! The rate was very affordable, the people were so kind and helpful, my room was so nice and clean and well thought out, and everything was walking distance. Thank you for a lovely stay in Bandon! Grateful for the experience!

We spent this past weekend at the Inn at Old Town. When reserving the room, we asked for a room on the second floor and to the back away from the street. That’s exactly what we got and it was newly renovated. We felt like we were the first to use it. Ruby is a wonderful hostess and made some great recommendations for places to eat i.e. The Rolling Pin Restaurant for breakfast. We would stay there again.

The room looked like it was newly remodeled. It was decorated so nicely and had a beachy vibe. Everything was fresh, Bright and very clean! We felt that it was reasonably priced. We will definitely come back here the next time we come to Brandon!

Nice hotel, nothing special but it had a clean and quiet room. It is a bit run down, could use some remodeling, but I would definitely stay here again. The property owners were very gracious and kind.

Small restaurant along the bay. Most items are breaded with highly limited availability of gluten-free options. I had the shrimp basket with fries and coleslaw with a side order of clam chowder. I got so many shrimp and fries that I had to take the clam chowder in a to go. To say my meal was served hot would be an understatement. There are no public restrooms at the restaurant. However, there's one available close by. I have to say that this was the first time that I had cran-raisens in my coleslaw, but it was good.

Very friendly service. We went at 3:00 P.M. and there was a line out the door. We both ordered Fish and Chips. Normally your side choice is garlic bread toasted or coleslaw, they were out of bread. The portion size was plentiful as neither of us could finish our meal. Dining is available indoors or outdoors, although seating space is limited. The fries were good and the Cod fish was average. The tarter sauce left a lot to be desired. You order at the counter. Meal is delivered to you in a box with plastic flatware. Rather awkward eating out of a box. Price was $31.90 for the two fish and chips. I'll try somewhere else next time.

Some of the best fish n chips I've had outside of the UK, if not the best. And the salmon chowder is to die for, got incredibly lucky and got the last bowl of the day. Might come back tomorrow for more.... Highly recommend!!!

We went to the fish market on New Year's Day. They were very busy and it was a beautiful sunny day. We ordered the halibut fish and chips and the portions were huge. We wished we had ordered one and split it. We loved the batter on the fish and the chips were very good. Of course there were cranberries in the coleslaw which we loved. It took a while for the food to get done but they're cooking it to order and like I said they're very busy. They worked really hard to get people's attention to come and get their food even if you were sitting outside while you were waiting. This is a really fun place to be and we will go back when we go through this town again.

Food here is 100/10. Smoked Salmon chowder for the win! HOWEVER These people don't know how good they are yet and on a busy day when it gets slammed, you have a 45+min wait. Be patient and you'll have a great visit!

The first time we noticed this place, it was half an hour to closing time, and the outside smelled of fish & chips grease and the inside looked packed. So, we did not even try to go in. We we able to get in two days later and I was prepared to have smelly clothing afterwards. But it didn't smell bad inside. We both ordered Rockfish fish and chips – I skipped the garlic bread, my partner was able to get toast with plain butter. The chowder was very delicious, full of clams (and not jut potatoes). The fish and chips we clean tasting, seasoned with salt and pepper, no scary garlic or MSG. The order desk person was efficient, patient and polite. It was one of the best dinner experience I had in the Oregon Coast. I could easily get addicted to the food at this place. Not a fan of all the plastic utensils used here though.

In my humble opinion, the best fish and chips on the Oregon Coast. Period. Crab and shrimp salad. Generous and good. Hot, big white tender fish from our Oregon coast-- done right. French fires are firm and savory. Chowder is excellent. And, they have fish tacos including a fine salmon salad. Staff is friendly!!! Afterwards tides permitting, it is time to hunt for sea oddity's and agates on the beach.

Wife went in to order so I can only comment on food. But she said they were nice all around. The place was clean and legit. Halibut chunks were large and flaky, batter was good. Tarter sauce was also good. Fries were also cooked with light batter so they were crunchy straight cuts. Excellent. Would buy from there again. They ran out of the smoked salmon clam chowder so I will be seeking that out sometime. It doesn't sell out for no reason.

My husband and I came on a Wednesday afternoon for an early dinner. We split the fish and chips and there was enough food for both of us. We got the cod since that was the only kind of fish they had today. Fish and fries were good, fresh and hot. Cole slaw had cranberries in it and was tasty.

We were blown away by the personalized service we received while dining at the Bandon Fish Market. The lady behind the cash register was just sweet as pie. It was my husband and I and our three kids. She brought out oyster crackers to curb their appetite until the food arrived. When the table of four opened up. She cleaned it immediately and offered it up to us so we can sit together as a family. Not too mention the seafood was so fresh and fried to perfection. Thank you all for such an amazing dining experience while in the Bandon area. 10/10 would recommend dining with them. We will return if ever back in the area ❤️

Definitely walk down the stairs and set your feet on the beach its well worth it. Its another part of Bandon Beach but further up north. It doesn't have much dry sand so its more for walking around.

I LOVE the Pacific. And this must be one of the most beautiful places on the Pacific coast of the U.S. I feel lucky to come from Denmark and to stumble on this gem by coincidence. It is definitely not the last time I go there ...

Enjoyable dinner! We made a reservation this afternoon and were seated on arrival. The restaurant was busy on a Tuesday evening. Fresh-baked cranberry bread was good. I had the chowder and my friend had a salad. We then shared the clams in garlic wine sauce which were lovely. I had the Wheelhouse Platter and my friend had the Salmon with Dungeness Crab. Both were very good.

What a treasure to find! Lovely, warm and inviting restaurant with great food and service. The Crowsnest Upstairs (no minors) is open at 4, with daily homemade bread. There is a cozy fireplace and great views up there. I had a bowl of their tasty clam chowder and an appetizer portion of the breaded and fried oysters. The oysters were absolutely delicious! It was 6 huge oysters served hot from the pan. Had to let them cool a bit before biting into these tasty morsels. LOL Would definitely eat there again if I am back in the area. 🇨🇦

This is our go-to food spot during our golf trip to Bandon. We we’re looking for seafood that is not fried and they have that. We went here a couple of times, lunch and dinner - obviously it is that gooood!

This is a great stop in. The food is good, the service is good and the building is fascinating especially the floors downstairs! We will stop in here again although there are many choices in this area. Portions are pretty large so you may want to share if you aren’t a big eater The chowder is great!

We are frequent travelers domestically and have done cross country road trip twice. We’ve been to many coastal cities along and tried different seafood restaurants. This restaurant is our favorite so far! At its price range, seafood was incredibly fresh and uniquely cooked with Southern touch. We ended up having dinner here two nights in a row during our 6day trip. Highly recommend their local cranberry wine which is sweet and tart. Will definitely come back.

The food was tasty, the stuffed shrimp app was great, good bread ! Great pasta and the seafood was fresh and flavorful....The bad part was our server.... hardly checked in, got our salads after our food, could see him wiping his nose and not washing his hands....my salad was picked up after I had 3 bites...drinks were never refilled...I wish we got the girl with the dark hair, she was on it to all of her tables...So good food spotty service....

A fantastic surprise. The environment was comfortable but classy, the food was spectacular with a sprinkle of amazing. The staff made you feel warmly welcomed and that you were a valued guest. Its a gem of the Southern Oregon Coast.

Fish and chips is as standard a menu item in Oregon as it is in Scotland. Day 9 of our driving trip and I was fed up with deep fried stuff. After seeing one too many 'garlic' words on the menu, I got nervous and lost my appetite. Since calamari is not seasoned with garlic, that's what I ordered. Actually, the serving was too big for me and I was too stuff afterwards for dessert. My partner did order the bread pudding which was kind of impressive.

Stopped in for Linner 😅Did not realize it was before opening. Nice waitress explained it was 15 mins to open we could wait if we wanted and enjoy the view, ( Boy it’s pretty good). She brought us refreshing citrus water with the drink and food menus while busily getting things ready. At 4 promptly she came up and asked us if we would like to hear the drink menu. 1st cocktail was a home made margarita with fresh citrus rather than a mix. YUM!!! Done sold please make more! While getting our drinks ready she brought us 2 types of warm sourdough careful this bread is fresh and addictive! We ended up purchasing a loaf to take home. We had decided on the Prawn, Rockfish, scallops, oyster plater with fish sourced locally. Every bite was finger licking good! Food was excellent, drinks superb, restaurant clean, view is great. On a personal note the waitress could have just mailed it in on a slower Monday, instead she treated us and the other table like royalty , great service that went beyond normal. Thank you!

If you are on the coast of Oregon, you should definitely stop here.. I ordered a fish and linguine paste, it was ok the food I had a good time and it was nice to know this place

Seriously good food! They have a nice selection of beers and wines. The warm bread was great; especially the one with the cranberries. Two of us ordered the Citrus Grilled Halibut and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly! My daughter got the mashed potatoes as a side and said they were the best mashed potatoes she’s ever eaten. My wife ordered the Seafood Linguine and said it was delicious! They were busy, but the service was great and the food was awesome! There isn’t a lot of seating so, I recommend making a reservation in advance just to guarantee you get a table.

This is a nice restaurant. The service was good, even though they were busy. The lemonade and fish & chips was so-so and the crab Louie wasn't really what I expected. Everything else was pretty good.

Good seafood restaurant. Salmon was done better than average seafood restaurant. Pasta, clam chowder, and vegetables were ok. Service was amazing, the girl with a braid was one of the best servers ever. Came in couple more times on our vacation and tried Rock Shrimp Linguine and Seafood Linguine, one served at lunch and the other at dinner, both are very good and amazing, full of shrimp/seafood, Loved it!

We had a pretty good sized group on a Saturday afternoon with a reservation. They did so well we came back the next afternoon with a slightly smaller group for another meal. With our group outings we are looking for great service that is fairly quick and quality food. The manager and her staff did a wonderful job, and everyone enjoyed their meals in our party.

Lovely setting on the bay with mediocre food. Stopped in as a large group with my coworkers after doing some work in the area. The fish and chips I ordered were juicy but very limp, not at all crispy. Several other coworkers commented that their food items were subpar. Our waitress could have been friendlier but I understand any impatience she had due to the size of our group.

Came here because so many locals recommended it to us. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was good, and the service was friendly!!

Wow, this place is a must for foodies, the crab and crab cakes are awesome! The staff make the character of the place with their banter and friendly service, so thanks for that. The food, well that speaks for itself and you can tell it’s good with the queues (fast and it gives you chance to review the recommendations) and the available tables and communal seating. We just loved this place. Top tip, lunch try the crab cake, then come back for a 1/2 crab and chowder for dinner!

Unique little restaurant with fresh seafood. Located right next to a station that will clean and cook the crab, you just caught yards away from the dock. I personally had the cod basket with coleslaw. My wife ordered the fish tacos and said that they were out of this world I personally found the cod sandwich to be a bit bland as well as the coleslaw. This is most likely a personal preference as a person sitting next to us ordered the same meal, and they were raving about it. Prices were comparable and reasonable compared to similar establishments. Public restrooms are available close by.

Yesterday, my wife and I walked past this dockside seafood restaurant and were reading the current menu. One of the cooks/chefs walked over and handed us a take out menu and was extremely polite and nice to us. We also checked out the adjoining souvenir shop/ fishing supplies section. Well, we returned today and we were not disappointed! We stayed inside today because it was rather cold, rainy, and windy today. Normally, the business expands outdoors in fair weather. We ordered a half dozen fried oysters and some Dungeness crab cakes. Both entrees came with cole slaw or small green dinner salad. Both dishes were fresh and prepared to perfection. So, great food, fun surroundings, and knowledgeable/hospitable staff- it's a home run!!

Great spot for seafood in charming downtown Bandon. We loved the fish tacos and the famous crab sandwich! Loaded up with fresh meat, not at all fishy. Nice variety of beers available. Has a little bait and gift shop attached, you can even rent crab traps. Not a lot of seating but people move quick and there's plenty of places to sit outside and eat. Parking is easy, this is a definite place to stop if you're traveling through!

Fun little place to eat. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Casual atmosphere where you order up at the counter and pay, then seat yourself. Just know , if you're coming for dinner, get there at 6:45 or before. They start turning people away around then instead of right at 7pm

Amazing crab cakes, and the sandwich was beautiful too! Fish tacos were good. The decor inside was so on point, it made the meal feel cinematic. Hot sauce was delicious. My regret was not getting more crab cakes during our visit.

My house salad, half crab, and soda pop delivered to my table outdoors in a vibrant city sidewalk atmosphere on a weather perfect day in Old Town Bandon. No sidewalk cafe anywhere would have been a better choice. Perfect. The menu here favors heart healthy choices with no fried food. The crab and sald were both excellent. I highly recommend a visit to Tony's Crab Shack.

Wow! I’m not a huge seafood fan, but I was blown away with the crab sandwich. It was insanely good. As well as the fish tacos. Probably the best fish taco I’ve ever had. The sauce they serve with it is so damn good! Definitely worth a visit for some lunch featuring some of the freshest seafood you’ll ever have! It’s literally caught out the back door from the shack!

Tony's was great! The restaurant is right on the borad walk. We ordered two dozens of freash oysters on the half shell they were pricey but enjoyable. I think they should sever the oysters over a bed of ice to keep them cold. Next time, I'll try their fish tacos. Indoor and outdoor seating. The service was good they were all friendly. They will even clean and cook your fresh catch of crab.

Great food. Was quick to get our food. Great place. The only thing I eould say is more seating places very limited seating. Bit it's a small restaurant. So I get it. It's a poplar spot. Besides that I give 5 stars.

Fish Tacos were the best, I would highly recommend them to anyone. Clam chowder nothing spectacular, wife said it tasted pre-made like it came from a can or bag. All the staff we encountered were very busy and very attentive to all of the guests.

The crab cakes and fish tacos were recommended and they were fantastic! The service was friendly as expected. You won’t find any fried foods here 🙌. They either grill or sauté and pays off! The atmosphere was perfect for a warm, sunny day with an option for indoor(small)/outdoor seating. An additional option out back on the pier (see photo) for seating with a view!

Had a quick lunch here - crabs were fresh and full! Clam chowder was great, grilled oysters fantastic and the white wine clams amazing 😍 lobster roll not bad either, but I'd go for the crab! We sat outside as we had a dog, but they gave our dog water and a patty - so sweet!

Loved my lunch here! We shared a seafood platter and the clams and crab were excellent. The chowder was one of my favorites I’ve tried on the coast so far and we’ve sampled many. The baked oysters were also perfect. I don’t love raw oysters so these hit the spot.

Oyster orleans, heated warm yet still tasted fresh and raw, and good sized oysters! Really enjoyed it, would get again...

Fun and very tasty place for lunch. Quick service, nice staff. Limited seating during busy times but outside seating can be found nearby. Eat in or take out and enjoy!

This place is excellent! The food was some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. We had the Lobster Roll Crab sandwich oysters on the half shell and clam chowder. Everything by was perfect. Every single employee made sure they welcomed us in, and made their way over to our table and had personable conversations with us. We met Walter the crab which was so fun to get a picture of with our daughter. Seriously a great place all around.

Had a great lunch here. Highly recommend getting there early or bring a coat to sit outside! This place can get busy. Nice selection of local beers to accompany their vast seafood menu. We had our kids with us and they had plenty of options to choose from. The staff was super friendly and engaged. Highly recommend the lobster sandwich and the side of chowder. We will return when in Bandon!

What a great pub with tasty food, great service, and a fun vibe. Came for an early dinner, and it did not disappoint. The Irish egg rolls were fantastic!!!

I had the meatloaf sandwich and it was *so good*. It was fresh and hot, and the mushroom sauce inside was a perfect match for the meatloaf, Swiss, and sourdough. My wife had the bangers & mash, and said her sausage was the best. The bread pudding was very nice, with enough sauce to finish without disappointment. Staff were friendly and informative, and service was prompt. In all, it was a wonderful experience.

Stop here on a weekend, at the beach. I can't say I would rate this very highly for the atmosphere was great, the service was great. We all know beer is beer, and it tastes good. Now the food here, on the other hand, I would not recommend sadly to say. I had the chowder with the onion rings, and my wife had a Caesar chicken salad, The Caesar salad chicken was bad, and I couldn't eat. They did remove the charge for the Caesar salad. I would go back but just for a beer.

Great food, good drinks, and super friendly staff. I will definitely be stopping again the next time I’m in Bandon

Worked in the area for a week and was pleasantly surprised with the rotating food specials. Had the ribs w/baker and coleslaw one night which was Excellent! A couple days later they had seafood fettuccine which was again Excellent! With plenty of shrimp and various seafood in it. Very nice selection of Irish whiskeys with the Tullamore Dew 12Yr being reasonably priced. The bartender was nice and personable.

BF and I had lunch there and we were super impressed! He had shepherds pie and I had their meatloaf! Hands down the best I’ve ever had! And the cranberry champagne mimosas were amazing too! 🙌🏽

Was recommended to try this pub from a local. We made the drive down from North Bend and were really hungry when we arrived. Truth be told I was not all that impressed. Our server was really friendly and made for good conversation. However, when our meal was done, I had asked for separate bills, and he just kept repeating how it was all in one which I found slightly rude. As for the atmosphere. It’s OK. The bar is nice and clean. Just didn’t really feel like an authentic Irish pub. I had the meatloaf with gravy and vegetables and mashed potatoes, which was tasty but quite honestly for the price I was expecting a much larger portion. I left still hungry and we went down the road to a local crab shack to get a bowl of clam chowder it wasn’t a bad experience , but I wouldn’t say it was great either.

Amazing. Mr. Foley is just a delight. Super friendly and kind. Will sit and have a convo with anyone about anything. Food is always top notch. Just feels like a very homey place. My visit to Bandon was blessed by finding this place.

Had a beer in this place that was dark like a Guiness called Smithwicks pronounced Smithicks, "W" is silent. Had the nachos with it but the beer was a meal in a glass. Good stuff Maynard. Going to find it retail and but a bunch of it. TV's had sporting events and football, good crowd.

I had the fish and chips, my wife had the Shepard's pie. Fish was a little greasy and just so so. Fries were good. Shepard's pie was small and expensive. My homemade SP is way better. Good place for sports viewing, lots of televisions.

Wherever we go somewhere all the time find Irish pub to have Guinness and authentic Irish food ,,,the atmosphere was similar as pub in Ireland that selling import beer “Harp””Smithwick and Guiness Irish coffee almost close at Bueno Vista except cream on top . Foods was good ( Sausage not use import one ) and recommendable place ,, Beer was excellent taste to maintain tab well Right temperature and right cream thickness 5 big screen are all of different direction so can watching game easier !!

Friendly staff, great food and service in a classic Irish American pub. While we ordered menu items that day that weren't traditional Irish dishes, it was fun to see the number of classic Irish choices on the regular menu. Will definitely return to try them out in the future!

Did not pop up on Google search for “beer”…but, we walked past and happily went in for Guinness. A treasure. Great layout well lit with windows.

This is on the beer and the service we did not have food. I was so thrilled to find all my favorite beers on tap. Harp, Guinness, Smith wicks. I had an amazing half and half pictured below. Our bartender was friendly . The place was clean. For whatever reason the photos I had looked at online do not do it justice. Very clean great bar. If I lived in Bandon this would be my hangout. Now it is just my must stop when I pass. I would come stay in Bandon for. Night just to get a true half and half.

My first time here. Our waiter asked if we'd be interested in trying a new kind of whiskey...peanut butter, that is. It was sooo awesome. I had me the fish and fries which was pretty delicious and hunby had the wings.

Wanted to try dinner with a view, and the view didn't disappoint. There are not many non seafood options, and the ones they have are pretty basic with minimal flavor. Overall, though, we had a great time with great service and amazing views.

We did a week long vacation for Thanksgiving in Bandon. Had a reservation at open, 5pm. This was my favorite dinner dining experience during that trip. Nice dining room, wonderful staff, good wines, good food and great desserts. We went to most all the fancier establishments while there, this was my favorite.

Fantastic halibut and the view is pretty good too. I stopped here for dinner on a business trip with clients. I had no idea what to expect because our office planned it, and boy was I surprised. The halibut was delicious and generously portioned. The wait staff was very pleasant and worked hard to serve our group well. This place is definitely in the ranks of fine dining. The drive to the restaurant is scenic and the view from the restaurant and parking lot is breathtaking. This is a great option for a date night or special occasion.

Making a reservation by phone is a must. We were warmly greeted and immediately taken to our tables while other guests without reservations were offered takeout menus. When you make your reservation, ask for tables by the window to enjoy sunset falling on Face Rock. There’s also a table for two facing the ocean where you can sit next to your dining companion - that looks like one of the best tables. Food was pricey and disappointing, with the exception of the vegetables. The vegetables were very good. Bread rolls were dry. Pasta was garlicky. The steak was prepared as requested and good. This was just an ok experience with a fine dining price.

Food is overrated especially for the prices. Clam chowder was bland. Calamari was pretty good and so were the salads. The smoked salmon pasta was good but the crab pasta was dry and was not good. The French onion soup was also bland and not really worth eating. The vegetable sides were really amazing!!!

It began with the waitress not remembering correctly what we ordered for soup and salad. We both had the nut encrusted halibut with vegetables and rice pilaf. The halibut was dry, bland and tasteless. All you could taste was butter and Panko. The vegetables were so oily and extremely salty. It was overpowering. The rice pilaf tasted like oil. We were very disappointed with our meal! The waitress was not very engaging and seemed uninterested in being there. The hostess apologized for our disappointment, and she would pass our remarks along to the owner.

The hostess and wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Food which was delicious came out quickly. I had the Seafood sampler and I loved it as I could taste a little bit of everything. The veggies especially the Broccoli and Asparagus were very flavorful! I wanted to order the Chocolate Mousse for dessert but I had no room for it 😏 The view of the ocean from our table was amazing!

I ordered a Seafood combo plate. It was great. My husband ordered Stuffed chicken but it wasn't that great. Chicken was dry and bland. He had to use salt to season it. When he does that, that means it's really bland. I like the place, it's elegant with a great ocean view. Service is okay. Not the friendliest people though. And overall, I will give this place a 3.

This place is sub par at best, bad service, even worse food, their chowder tastes canned, I’m 98% certain their scallops are just pollack (imitation crab) and not real scallops. My kids chicken strips was a mix of chicken and fish…..It could be so much better. Makes me really miss Edgewater. If you’re looking for a place to eat I suggest to keep looking. This was convenient staying at the sunset but I would never eat her again.

Someone recommended this place when I was looking for places for my husband's birthday. We live in Coos Bay and the two places we frequent are closed on Mondays. The actual day of my husband's birthday. I don't want to drive from CB to Bandon and feel rushed on a Monday, so we opted to go on a Saturday. The view is amazing. We didn't get a window seat, but we still had a view. I have not found a place in CB they can make a decent extra dirty martini, but Lord Bennett's can. My husband ordered an old fashion and his only complaint was the crushed ice versus the large single block of ice. The food was good and had generous portions. I had the king salmon special and my husband had the ahi tuna special. Our son had the cheeseburger and fries. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse, my husband had the pecan pie, and our son had the NY cheesecake. I couldn't finish the mousse, not because it wasn't great but because it was too rich. I'm glad someone recommended this spot as we can now add it to our favorite spots.

The food was exceptional, really enjoyed our meal.
