Always on our short list of businesses to visit when we are in town (from Michigan). We had the opportunity to share this experience with our 3 kids this time, and they LOVED it. The artists are always welcoming, informative, and perhaps unintentionally always have made it inspirational for a first timer. Stop in if you are in town and explore, learn and make a purchase 😁. Help keep this artistic trade thriving.

My wife and I had a great time creating our 20th wedding anniversary vase. We were guided by a young man who is an exceptional teacher. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is the lady who checked us in wasn’t very kind but everything else was awesome!

We saw an ad for the Glass Forge in a hotel booklet and decided to spontaneously add it to our coastal hwy trip and we're So glad we did. Watching the artisans at work, transforming 2000°F glass into stunning pieces of art right in front of you is incredible! From start to on the shelf is an 18 hour process for a multi-color globe, and you can see and feel the dedication to this art in all the people who work there. The prices are quite reasonable and the staff amazing! On a personal note: we happened in on a rough day for us as parents (a child with a medical emergency and trying to coordinate care away from home), and the way they treated us was extraordinary. I can not recommend them enough and can assure you, we will make sure to add The Glass Forge to our S. Oregon every chance we get as well encourage others to visit as well.

Amazing glass blowing shop!! Our daughters got to create their own glass blown items. Shop guys had a great attitude and took the time to explain to us the process
Emmanuel Balan — Google review
This place is amazing! You can watch the glass blowing up close and ever pertisapate. The owner was very friendly to us. I highly recommend going to see this amazing place. We purchased several of their beautiful pieces in the gallery. A must see if in the area!

Got to try blowing glass today, it was super fun.they have a lot of nice glass gifts in there gift shop.super friendly staff. Definitely worth dropping in if your in gp
Stephanie Minihan — Google review
Definitely stop in and see all the beautiful glass work done by the local artists there. I stopped after the farmer's market and was lucky enough to see one of the artists in the studio creating a beautiful glass piece. They have earrings, hummingbird feeders, ornaments, vases, glasses, wall pieces, sculptures, and so much more. They even have "sea" glass they made from broken pieces that you can purchase in bulk.
Roberta Peek — Google review
I spent about 1.5 hours this morning. Watching them blow glass and telling me all about it. I got to look around the show case and go into the actual working area and it was amazing!! When I was there, they were making all sorts of things. There was a martini glass, shot glass, ornaments, all sorts of things. It was so amazing and all the guys there were fantastic and very helpful. I even made an appointment to go and make something next month with a dear friend.
Jeanne Young — Google review
Highly recommended!!! They make the glass art on the spot. The showroom has lots of cool pieces you can buy from. If you buy a simple piece, they'll let you take part in making it on the spot, which was very cool. It does take a night for the glass to cool off, so you have to pick it up the next morning. They can also ship it to your home if you don't have the extra day. The staff was all super kind! We will definitely visit again.
Thang Dang — Google review
This by far was one of the best days out. We cannot say thank you enough to the staff for making our family day so fun. From start to finish they were amazing. We called ahead and made a reservation for our larger group. They explained everything, we all got to make a glass piece. They told us the history, explained how it all works. It was So much fun. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a activity that is off the beaten path, easy for all ages, pretty and easy. Our pieces were even done on time, and all was flawless. Thank you Glass Forge Gallery and studio!

Art Museums
The Grants Pass Museum of Art showcases local and regional artwork, hosting various music and poetry events as well as workshops. It stands out among little museums due to its exceptional traveling shows and diverse range of art throughout the year. Despite its small size, it offers a rewarding experience without requiring a significant time commitment or financial investment. Visitors can appreciate the stunning sculptures by Sayaka Ganz and admire the captivating displays by talented local artists.
Fun place to check out a variety of local artist works, great window views, friendly welcoming staff. Enjoyed seeing the work. Cool art library.

I love our little museum. They get really excellent traveling shows and offer a wide variety of different types of art over the year. I have been in lots of little museums, but this is still one of our favorites. It is small so not a big investment of time and it is entrance by donation so you don't have to be rich to go there (like some of the larger art museum these days).

A really nice art museum for a small town. Worth the visit.

This is such a delightful museum! We were astonished by the beauty of Sayaka Ganz's sculptures, and we especially enjoy seeing local artists' displays. It is absolutely worth making some time to stop here!

A great trail system with lots of differing difficulties and choices. Absolutely beautiful, whatever time of year. In the winter, I loved all of the different mushrooms there were growing everywhere, spring the Wildflowers are INCREDIBLE! Summer, it's so green!

Great trails, well signed, and a variety of flora. Went for a hike on a Saturday and despite all the cars at the trailhead we didn’t run into anyone on the trails. Good views of the surrounding areas and very peaceful area. Tons of trails of varying difficulties.

I love this set of trails! There is a nice range of mixed use trails - mostly wooded with some views. Right now Spring flowers are in bloom!

This is a great hiking area. Nice and clean with an outhouse. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there were no maps . The trails were marked very well but did not indicate how many miles for each loop.
Sherri Rogers — Google review
Great network of trails for hiking, biking and walking your hounds. There's a map available sometimes and it's fun to explore the different routes. There are some beautiful views up at the various "tops" that overlook Southern GP.
Tracy Wilhelm — Google review
Great spot with miles of different hikes in many different levels of difficulty. Some very easy with little elevation gain and others you'll wish you chose a different path! The trails are very well maintained. Tons of poison oak off the trails and the mosquitos will get you in the evening. This spot is awesome 👌👏

Popular, leafy park on the Rogue River featuring disc golf, a playground, fields & picnic areas.
I LOVE this beautiful park! I take my dog there almost every day and we really like how well it is kept up. It's big enough to have a interesting and lengthy walk. Parking is wonderful, there are numerous of ways to enter it.
Niki Good — Google review
It's a nice park. There are a bunch of cool things to do with little kids here. They have a water park section that is currently closed, but I assume it opens up in the summer. There is ample parking. It does harbor a not insignificant homeless population, though that hasn't caused me any trouble personally.
Ray Pierce — Google review
Really nice and big park. Boatnik held here every year. Lot of ducks, geese and wildlife. Ducks and geese Really enjoy handouts and will come up to and follow you around.
Shane Lester — Google review
This park has a great playground and neat splash pad / spray park. It's right on the river and has plenty of tall trees for shade. However there are way too many homeless people. You must keep your eyes on your kids the whole time because you have no idea what they are going to discover (needles) or worse.
S. Magee — Google review
Boatnik is always an event. The place was crowded and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Not too many strange beings wandering around. The young people manning the gate to the handicap parking area were wonderful. They spent a long day there. Of course, funnel cake just had to be bought! Same people serving it for many years. They graduated to a bigger trailer this year. Then it started to sprinkle and the drag boat race was canceled until tomorrow.
Suzanne Steffy — Google review
Riverside park is a good place to go and get out of the sun, enjoy a nice lunch with the family, or to take the little one's to go play at the nice playground and/or the spray area (mini water play place). Weather your just visiting from out of town, passing through Grants Pass, Oregon, or live close to their it's fun for all age's and walk's of life. The spray area is hours of fun for the children.
Jennifer Whitson White — Google review
Most of the park has been cleaned up. I am now comfortable taking my kids there at least. Not able to play disc golf there anymore, as some of the coarse is now a campsite for our burgeoning homeless population. If the city can find a better place than our parks to accommodate homeless people, it would rate much higher, and GP taxpayers would be a lot more satisfied with our city governance in general.

A very large roomy park to take the family or meet on a play date. The public restrooms are one of the cleanest I have been in, the playground is huge, lots of seating, plenty of parking and just an absolute beautiful setting right on the river! The only down side is no dog park.
J Shlds — Google review
Great park! Very big playground. Our kids love it!! The big downside is seeing tents & homelessness in the park. We didn't feel safe there and didn't dare to stay long even though our kids were having a lot of fun.

Love the tours. The beauty of the Rogue River and the history shared by the boat pilot make for an educational and interesting ride. I took the brunch tour this time. The food is excellent and the views spectacular! The way back is my favorite with 360's and splashing! I'll go back again!
Janis Sanford — Google review
Had a total BLAST! One of the best things to do in all of Oregon. The boats were fast… but beware you WILL GET WET! The guides are super friendly. And they know this river like the back of their hands. Such beautiful scenery. We come here every time we visit the Rogue Valley.
Protective Dad Pranks — Google review
5 people, 2 locals and 3 from out of town. We've been on this ride many times in the past and always take guests to experience the beautiful Rogue River. Brunch reservations were very easy to get, and we now understand why. The drivers don't do nearly as many quick stops and turns as they used to in years past. And the food was minimal, with 2 vegetarian meal requests not being served until everyone else has finished. We did not tell our guests about the downgrade in food & fun since they enjoyed getting wet in 100+ degree heat. But we'll be trying other services in the future.
Anna Stevenson — Google review
The ride was great fun, and the food was way better than I expected. We did the 4 hr trip and dinner. The trip was not 4 hours, more like 3 and a half, but we had a great time. We got soaked, but on such a warm day, it was a relief. Donny was our captain, and he provided a great trip. Definitely recommend taking this river trip if you're in Grant's Pass.
Stacey Santi — Google review
Well if you want to see bald eagles, osprey, deer, turtles and beavers, this is the boat ride for you! Our guide was hilarious and so engaging.. on a hot summer day this is the perfect adventure for date night, family, friends. I recommend this tour in Grants pass
B Travel mom — Google review
Had SO MUCH FUN! Definitely recommend. Down side was the dinner… marginal at best. Unflavorful with tons of bees terrorizing us throughout the meal. BUT I still give it a 5 star. Bill was a GREAT tour guide.
Jen D — Google review
This was the second time we did a jet boat tour with Hellgate Excursions- and once again it did not disappoint! This time we did a 2 hour trip (we only did 1 hour last year), and it was even better. Our guide was awesome- humorous and informative- and pointed out lots of flora and fauna. On the trip we saw a turtle, bald eagles, osprey, herons, black tail deer and more. One thing about the jet boat trips- you are going to get wet, and depending on where you sit, you may be a little wet, or you may end up looking like you were scuba diving... Fortunately, we were there on a hot day (96°+) so it was nice. I can't say enough good things about these folks. We highly recommend them!!!
Kevin — Google review
This was one of the best experiences I have had. The service was top notch and the scenery was amazing. Our boat captain Donny was awesome he made the trip even better, if that was even possible. I would recommend this to anyone.
Nikki Chase — Google review
This is such an experience. We have done both the brunch and dinner excursion. The jet boat ride is SO MUCH FUN and so beautiful. You'll sea bald eagles almost for sure and if you're lucky, you'll see a bear. There's cranes and osprey. Be prepared to get wet!! It's part of the fun! Our guide both times was Chad and he is hilarious and knowledgeable. We were surprised to be seated with a LARGE group of people. It was awkward sharing food with people you don't know, at first. This time, we expected it and when we got seated, asked a couple to switch us spots so we were seated together and not across from each other. I think they were actually relieved to be asked. Not a huge complaint, just a statement so people don't have to go in blind. The food for both was only okay. So much so, that I cannot even remember anything from the brunch excursion except they offered bottemless mimosas. They offer lemonade and tea as well. For dinner, it's beer. We bought a couple cocktails and they were great. As well as the bartenders! Dinner was BBQ chicken and ribs, loaded scalloped potatoes and veggies. You also get platters and bread and salad when you first sit down. Despite that not sounding like a great review, we would do it all again because the experience is so great.
Amber Cowen — Google review
I was invited to tag along with my friends work group and we had a blast. We took the brunch tour. The boat ride was fun. We had great weather. The driver was funny and kept it lively. The brunch itself was a little subpar but they did try to accommodate everyone’s dietary restrictions, and the staff was very nice there as well.
Theresa — Google review
Our driver Chad was the bomb!!! It's one of my most favorite jet boat trips, and I've had many! I won the photo again! woo hoo! I usually come down every summer at least once. My husband, before passing, and I would always come down for our anniversary! We loved this. And now my friends help me carry on the tradition... The food is plentiful, the views are outstanding, and the fun is never-ending. There's so much beauty and so many friendlies along the river! It's a must do for your summer travels!

Nestled by the Rogue River, River's Edge Restaurant is a bi-level eatery offering New American cuisine in a warm ambiance. The upscale-casual restaurant provides an idyllic riverside dining experience with an outdoor patio boasting breathtaking views. Guests can savor Pacific Northwest flavored fare and enjoy the lovely patio during warmer months. The restaurant offers cozy banquettes for colder days and a clean environment with friendly service.
Food here was incredible! Really unique flavor combinations. The prime rib has a really delicious bone marrow chimichurri, for example instead of the traditional horseradish. The salmon dish and the filet dish also had really amazing flavor combinations. The steamer clams were buttery and delicious! The drinks were also unique and really good. Overall, the food was definitely worth the cost and I will be eating here again.

Phenomenal Food. Superb Service. Exquisite Environment. I met a friend here for late lunch on a Tuesday. Claire was our server, she was friendly, conscientious, smart and lovely. The restaurant is very clean. I had a great view of the river and enjoyed watching the geese across the way. I order the beet salad and tempeh sandwich. They were both delicious. The salad is served with lightly candied macadamia nuts that were tasty, the greens were fresh and the beets were perfect! The tempeh Sammie was served with a generous amount of avocado. I enjoyed it immensely. The sweet potato fries were tender and crispy, they seemed baked, not fried, which I liked. I will definitely return.
Donna Mulvey — Google review
Amazing service and atmosphere, food was very good but pricey. Their steak servings are quite large, which could be the reason for the higher prices. I would rather have a 5 oz filet vs a 10 oz and pay less. The duck confit was delicious!
Lauren Sims — Google review
Me and my girl went out for a date night. We booked a reservation on open table. We basically had a few minute wait and got seated quickly. The food was amazing. The river view was a little hard to see from the upper booths but the lower tables looked to have an amazing view. The staff was excellent and the live guitar music was amazing. We loved the atmosphere so much we plan on having our friends and family out in June and we plan on going there.
Burton Newman — Google review
Who else likes discovering new restaurants? I'd heard of @rivers.edge.grants.pass.or in the past but we'd never gone for lunch or dinner because honestly it never sounded appealing to us. Well, this last weekend I was invited out to do a menu tasting of their newest seasonal menu coming out in the next couple of weeks and now I can't wait to take the family over for lunch or dinner! First things first. In spring 2021 they got new owners that completely revamped their food and cocktails, starting over with a farm to table mindset. They source their ingredients as local as possible, scratch making every dish, and handcrafting their cocktails. Their wine selection is extensive, supporting lots of wineries as well as offering wines you may not be able to find anywhere else in southern Oregon such as Caymus, Quilceda Creek, Stags Leap Wine Cellars, Duckhorn among others! Call ahead and they will cork your wine for you to be ready when you arrive! Secondly, their location is absolutely gorgeous! They are located right on the Rogue River with a beautiful, large outdoor seating area that will be especially stunning in the spring. Their dining room is still in the works to be remodeled but it is nice and cozy with lots of booths and a nice bar with great views of the river also. It's definitely a great spot for date night and special occasions, or even just a casual lunch out. Their whole menu is fantastic, but my five favorite items are pictured.

A delightful dining experience. Excellent food and service. I love coming here. I sit in the lounge, enjoy the view and browse the menu. I started off with Fried Artichokes, Roasted Beet Salad is to die for and the Osso Bucco is delectable and tender …. Ask to be seated with server “Misty” …. You will love this place …. Oooh and I went back and had an Edge Prime Rib Dip with sweet potato fries ….. Wow!

This was my first visit to the River's Edge Restaurant. The Restaurant looked great with fantastic views of the Rogue River. The hostess did a great job at getting our party of three seated outside. The menu had some wonderful options, but after waiting for over 30 minutes with no one offering water, or, even acknowledging that we were there, was a bit of a bummer. Sadly we ended up leaving to celebrate our son getting his driver's license somewhere else

This place was GREAT! I enjoyed everything about it. Great service… great view…. Great food! And it all was well priced! My beef dip was outstanding, my wife’s veggie wrap was top notch. If I’m ever in Grants pass again this is top of my list!!

Service was great. Music was great. All the food was very good with the exception of my steak. Taste was good, but extremely tough. Hard to drop $50 on a tough steak. That's the risk you take ordering steak. My wife won big with the seared scallops. They were awesome.

This is quintessential river dining, both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is inventive and delicious with seasonal and local items. The bar is so comfy. The music by local Musician "Scott" is perfect, with occasional duos with the waitress melts my heart every time. Never had a bad meal here. A memorable experience every time.

Another great meal. All aspects were well done. Treat yourself. It is pricey but a fantastic all-around experience. Make sure to get a reservation and tables overlooking the Rogue River are the best. Don't forget there is live music.

On a road trip & we stop here for lunch. Great river side view while eating. Great food & friendly staff. I would recommend this place for great tasting food & awesome service. It's expensive but worth the cost for the food. The only negative is that the drinks are overpriced, tho.

Stopped here for a bite to eat whilst heading through town - the terrace out the back overlooks the river and was quite pleasant on a sunny afternoon. We had everything we needed from a service perspective but the levels of congeniality fluctuated. Huge servings, hot and fresh food. I had the tempeh sandwich and my partner got the chicken Caesar wrap. we got a calamari to share. Restrooms were clean and tidy. The other meals on the menu looked delicious - worthwhile going to check out if you are in town.

I met a friend there for breakfast on a Sunday at 9. No waiting. Gorgeous views, stunning dining room with high ceilings. Brandy was our server, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The food was DELICIOUS. I had a veggie skillet and blueberry muffin. My friend had the avocado Benedict. Ingredients were fresh and quality. I found the prices reasonable for the quality and presentation.

We stayed in Grants Pass on the way to Portland. Came here for a dinner for two. We were able to sit outside the lighting was very romantic the atmosphere was friendly and the food was really good. The outdoor seating was a deck that overlooked the river, our server was very friendly and allowed us space to enjoy the evening. The presentation of the food was good and I would highly recommend this place for dinner.

Went here for the first time and was super excited to eat on the River. We had a party of 6 (3 kids and 3 adults) and on a Friday night the wait time was 10-15 minutes, not bad. We got seated, ordered and it took 20-30 minutes to get our food. The food looked delicious! My halibut was cold 😭. My husband ordered a steak and it was super tough. Tough enough that he sent it back and asked for something else. It took forever to get a replacement meal. I hate leaving reviews like this but I believe an honest review may help them improve. I do have to say that the server was super nice

Friendly, casual, and relaxed. The server appeared to have a positive pep in her step, very energetic, and attended to all our needs/wants anticipated our next refill without missing a beat. I started with a fresh salad followed by an Avocado Burger it had the perfect natural grill flavor... Yumm 😋. The fries were crisp and fresh. Ended with a nice, more than generous piece of strawberry cheesecake, it was delicious. We will definitely visit again. 😀

Great view of the bridge and the rogue river. Wide menu with tons of options. The rogue creamery bleu cheese burger was awesome. Great stop by in grants pass.

This was a great place to eat. The building is very nice with killer views of the river! We really enjoyed our food. As an appetizer we tried the twisted pretzels. A little too heavy on the mustard in the cheese sauce, but the pretzels were nice. My husband and I had burgers, him the hells gate fire burger and me the smash burger. He said it was very adventurous with the taste, bursting with many flavors. I really enjoyed mine as well. This is a really nice restaurant, so if you're wanting a more fancy feel, this is your place. Also, if you're wanting drinks, definitely go during happy hour though!

Great food and location. The establishment was at most 50% capacity but our server took forever. 4 of us in our group. Took almost 2 hours for a basic lunch. So long that I ordered a 2nd beer. Which never came and I had to have it removed from the bill. But if your looking for a lovely place where you have the time to enjoy your company, this is THE spot.

We stopped here for a late lunch on our way south on I5 to SFO. Since we arrived at an odd hour for lunch - we were seated quickly; they weren’t busy yet. We chose to sit indoors, and were given a table by the windows - it was gorgeous!! The restaurant is beside the Rogue river and the view from here is very pretty!! The vibe of the place is super fun too! I tried their Beet salad with a side of beyond patty. The salad was good - but could use a little more acidity! 🙂 The beyond patty was delicious though! My companion liked their hefeweizen beer & (what I believe was the) Mr Bachelor basil chicken with a side of sweet potato fries - and quite liked their food! If you’re in the Grants Pass area - I’d recommend a visit here.

Brunch restaurant
Ma Mosa's is a charming and intimate kitchen located in downtown Grants Pass, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with brick-walled surrounds. The cafe is known for its eclectic and seasonal menu, featuring healthy and wholesome locavore breakfast and lunch options. The cozy space is adorned with shabby-chic multi-colored furniture, providing a comfortable setting for diners to enjoy their meals. In addition to the regular locally inspired menu, Ma Mosa's also offers daily specials.
Cool place to have breakfast. Don't be alarmed if it looks full when you walk in there's another seating area in the back. The menu has both breakfast and lunch served all day and includes both traditional and modern dishes. I enjoyed the Classic Burrito with Sausage and coffee from a local roaster. The burrito with 3 eggs and the sausage was huge, I couldn't quite finish it! The cilantro lime sauce added a nice complimentary flavor.

Interesting, small place for breakfast or lunch (no dinner). We went for breakfast. Probably great for meat-eaters. There are a few options for vegetarians too but it's quite limited if you're not into the typical fats and potato based breakfasts. Anyways...we found something that we could live on and it was pretty good. It's very small inside with room for maybe only 20 people. So expect a wait-list it you go on a more busy moment. There are also some tables outside.

A cute, little place for a delicious breakfast. The food and the mimosas were delicious. I liked being able to grab a fun coffee mug of my choice and to fill it up. I would go back here for sure! The art inside was awesome. Loved the outdoor seating but it was a little too cold the morning we were there.

Best breakfast I’ve had in some time. The biscuits and mushroom gravy were delicious. The potatoes were perfect. Everything cooked supremely. Cute atmosphere, friendly and good service, affordable… great experience all around.

We wanted a brunch place to stop at that was in route to our destination and found this tiny gem. Love the support they give to other local shops and the sense of community. I especially enjoyed the latke appetizer. They have vegetarian options and both indoor and outdoor seating.

Went here for lunch, and it was great. I had the chicken and waffles, which was very good. The chicken was tender and seasoned well. The waffle was also very fresh. The only issue I had was the wait time. It took 30 minutes to be seated and then another 20 for the food to arrive at the table. It was worth the wait, but if you are very hungry, like I was, you may want to make sure you can make it. We arrived at 11:30 am.

Ma Mosa's restaurant is incredible for breakfast! We have only been here for breakfast, but they do serve lunch until closing, which is 2 pm weekdays and 4 pm weekends. There is outdoor seating as well as indoor. The indoor seating is minimal so plan to arrive early if indoor seating is preferred. Staff are VERY kind and helpful! Very much recommended!

I recently met a client here for lunch and had a delightful meal. The outdoor dining experience is relaxing and refreshing. The ladies that served us were kind and courteous. The food was good and the price was much better than I had anticipated. Thank goodness. It is often too expensive to meet someone for a meal these days. This spot gave us a good experience and we could afford it easily as well. Thank you.

One of my most favorite places to eat in the valley. I don't eat out often but when I visit back home I always come here. The staff is always SO kinda and sweet. Love the outside dining, thank you for quality eats and laughs😻🥰🧚‍♀️✨️🦋 OH, I also highly recommend getting your gravy sausage mixed with mushroom...it's the best🍄

The place was so awesomely quirky with indoor and out door seating. The menu was extensive as well as the mixed drink menu. The hostess and our waitress were so attentive to us and kind to our little ones. Be prepared to wait but it is worth time.

I love this place, but don't try to go on the weekend, or be prepared to wait. The food is always good. I had shrimp and cheesy grits with a poached egg and bacon garnish with pea shoot salad. It was so good!

This place has my return ticket! Worth the waitlist on a sunday brunch rush hour on a sunny day! Check the special board (they didn't have bennedicts on their regular menu, but I luckily spotted a local who had ordered one and clued me into this gem of a St Patty's day corned beef benny special)

Update 6/8/22. Enjoyed lunch on the patio. The plants and the little birds are really lovely. Had a half order of The Staple plus a side of the Cheesy Grits and some Corn Tortillas. Yummy as always. Favorite breakfast restaurant in Grants Pass. I am very happy with my dining experiences here, love the rotating art exhibits on the walls. High quality "farm to table" food and friendly service, nice menu and specials, consistently a cut above. I enjoy ordering their "staple" pictured here, my friend ordered their oatmeal pictured as well. Great choices on hot sauces too!

This place is amazing! Their food is always delicious and fresh. It is made as often as possible with local ingredients, which my family really appreciates. We have a lot of food sensitivities, and this is a place we can eat at and feel confident that no reactions will occur afterwards. The staff is amazing! The atmosphere is always positive, and their outdoor seating area feels like an oasis in the middle of downtown. They do have limited seating and tend to be popular. So, if you go on the weekend be sure to expect a little bit of a wait that will be well worth it in the end!

Good food that was obviously higher quality than places with similar prices. I got an amazing chicken sandwich today: the patty I could even tell was straight from a chicken. Not processed at all, nice thick breaded piece of juicy chicken. The bun tasted a lot like a croissant and was light and fluffy but still filling and fitting with the coleslaw on the sandwich. The pasta was a bit weird of a side with it, but you can upgrade the meal for a salad instead too. Wheelchair accessible, outdoor seating only right now from what I could tell. Great seating with an upbeat feel. Only thing I would change is how close people were smoking to the outdoor area. There was second hand smoke all throughout the tables while we ate and that was really gross. Their prices are surprisingly close to Wendy's and Sheri's types of places but they source as locally as possible and have some really great options. I was impressed. The fruit selection with the waffles was really fresh and good. They would have a really awesome setup with some more space and good parking. The biggest downside to this place is parking. The parking is dumb and difficult because they don't allow parking in the dead grass right next to it, the close spots get taken really fast and the other actual parking spots around it are reserved for jury, judges, courthouse, private business etc. So your options are the side of the streets. Happy munching!

Very friendly and intelligent service! Small cafe with a great atmosphere, diner coffee (I drink it black and it had good flavor but don’t expect Black Rifle Coffee Co or any good mud like that) that did the job, and the ingredients here are fresh and organic. They have REAL MAPLE SYRUP and the house made apple fritters are outstanding!

Bistro
The Twisted Cork is a bistro and wine bar that offers a delightful experience for wine enthusiasts. It features an extensive 800-bottle cellar with wines from the Pacific Northwest, including Oregon, Washington, and California. Guests can enjoy a selection of sixteen wines available by the glass or as flights, perfectly paired with American and Mediterranean inspired dishes such as soups, salads, pasta, and flatbreads. The restaurant also serves tempting entrees to complement the wine offerings.
It took pretty long to get our meal but it was worth the wait. My prime rib was superb!!

I have been a patron of this restaurant for years and I know sometimes it takes a while when a restaurant changes hands but this is my second time. I am being truly transparent when I say the quality isn’t there anymore. I have worked in high end restaurants and have eaten in restaurants all over the map. The original creator of Twisted Cork delivered 100 percent with fine wait staff and consistently bringing the food to a top notch level. $37.00 for a piece of halibut is super okay with me but not when it is mediocre. It was one of my favorite restaurant’s to enjoy with the wait staff having knowledge of food and beverage. Now I feel like it’s just your average. I hope they come around and bring it back to its original state.

My mom and I were visiting Grant’s Pass and decided to stop in for dinner. We had eaten here previously (about a year ago) and had been very pleased. I ordered the Crab Papardelle ($26) and it arrived without any crab. Even the waitress tried to find some in the cream sauce and couldn’t. My mom ordered the New York Steak ($32), cooked medium/medium well. It arrived medium rare on the bottom, medium rare on the top and purple & cold in the middle. The waitress (Jove) was really nice and said that she thought we may have received the wrong steak. We sent both items back - to have crab added to the pasta and have her steak cooked longer. They were very busy at the time, so it took about 20 minutes to get the food back. The pasta was fine, it had crab in it. The steak was still rare in the middle. My mom tried to eat it, but not only was it way undercooked, but it was super tough and full of gristle. At this point, we had been there like 90 minutes and needed to get back on the road. We told Jove that we needed to go and that we would take the items home and attempt to “fix” them the next day. The restaurant gave us 20% off of the pasta ($5.20) and nothing off on the steak. We took everything home and tossed it out. Our final bill was $65.60. We tipped the waitress well on the full amount and left disappointed and hungry.

Great Service and good food. Had the Oregon Mule with Huckleberry Vodka. Sweet and gingery. The Rib Eye and the petite steak with blue cheese crusted topping was very good cooked medium rare. Ambience is nice. Although we did not have it there seems to be a great wine selection.

One of the best upper echelon restaurants we visited in southern Oregon. We have been to a lot of fine dining restaurants and this one takes a cake for the quaint spot in grants pass.

The food was delicious, definitely recommend the prawns for an appetizer and in-house made chocolate zinfandel cake for dessert! The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere is light and clean and classy. We will be back here to try the rest of the menu!

We waited about 45 minutes for a table, which was understandable since it was 5:30, but then once we were seated we waited nearly 2 hours for our food. We were just about to leave when our food came out. The food was very good, which was some what redeeming but I probably won’t be back due to the wait time. At least offer bread and side salad with entrees if it takes so long for the food, to hold people over while they wait.

Amazing food. Great service. Worth it. The Cork burger is probably the best burger I have EVER had...including from Houston, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, Baltimore, Williamsburg and DC. *Edit 07/2023. Have been here many times since the first review and this place continues to provide amazing gourmet food (more than just the fabulous Cork Burger!). I am no longer into wines but the selection is fairly impressive. Just simply a fabulous place to eat in Grants Pass.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and delicious food. The Kahlua Prawns were a delightful taste explosion. The cork burger was tender, juicy and full of flavor. The sticky toffee cake, shamefully delicious. My husband had the homemade vanilla bean ice cream with salted caramel topping. Almost too good😁

The family and I went to The Twisted Cork. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing. We had the Khlua Prawns which were nice but a bit on the rich side, the Macadamia Nut Crusted fish that was bland. It does have a hint of coconut that takes over the taste of the fish. The Cork Burger was flavorful and cooked well. The portions on the burger were great, the rest of the food ordered the portions were a bit on the small side considering the price. The service is great. Very friendly staff.

This place was delicious! We ordered a flight of white and red wine. All of them were good but I preferred the white wine flight. We ordered the blue cheese chips, crab cakes and chorizo stuffed mushrooms as appetizers. All of them were delicious. But my favorite was the chorizo stuffed mushrooms. For dinner we had the prime rib with the twisted potatoes, Stuffed chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, and chicken Alfredo. All of the dishes were excellent. But I would highly recommend the twisted potatoes as a side.

Great experience in the Twisted Cork. Lexie, our waitress was very friendly, attentive and welcoming. Our food was very delicious! I ordered the Soup of the day, an apple chutney-leek cream soup and the Creamy Alfredo linguini. The soup was a good mixture of sweet and salty and the cup was the perfect starter -and size - before the linguini with creamy mushroom sauce and spinach. You can also find a good selection of wines here and we tried the Oregon Pinot Gris Flight. Overall a very nice experience and highly recommended.

Had a great first experience last night! My flank steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and my wife's stuffed chicken breast tasted amazing as well! Our server Meg was super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations for the wine and beers to try. Overall very satisfied with our time there! Oh and the cheesecake was absolutely delicious as well! We will definitely be returning!

Nice venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to get an appetizer and cocktail. The mushroom app was good, but would have preferred more sausage. The shrimp was tender with wonderful sauce that we sipped up with the bread. The roasted poblano soup was probably my favorite thing we ordered. The polenta lasagna was ok. There was a high polenta to veggie ratio, which I didn’t prefer. Good service. Cheers 🍻

Brewpub
Wild River Brewing & Pizza Co. in Grants Pass has been a local favorite for over 30 years, serving up wood-fired pizzas, pastas, and a variety of handcrafted beers. The brewery boasts a 30-barrel copper clad brew house that produces over 10 styles of beer on tap annually. In addition to their beer selection, they also offer house-made sodas and local wine and cider.
Pretty bomb and the prices aren’t too bad. Pizza was good, beer was extra cold and everyone was real nice. Reminded me of a mixture between Ferrelies and The Ram with better customer service. Oh and best part is, they give you RANCH in a SQUEEZ BOTTLE. Mind blown! 🤯 oh n the margarita pizza looked kind of sad

We stopped off on a rainy day primarily for beer tasting. We ended up each ended up getting lunch. Everything was good. Some items were really excellent, however. I would particularly recommend the Stromboli. The Barbecued Chicken Pizza was also great. The beer was good but not great. None of them are really worth mentioning.

Last minute decision as they have food later than the other brewery options in town. The restaurant was well lit with good beer options. We loved how they chopped the pizza in bite size pieces. The pizza pictured is a medium size, which we thought was pretty big. We also Ordered the lasagna. They make all their own breads and pasta noodles in house. They also get the sausage locally. The smoked salmon ravioli looked tasty! We would definitely return to try the breads and in house desserts. The service was great...lots of indoor seating. When back for a second time to try the homemade bread. This was disappointing. They were out of rye and the wheat was like a wheat bun from a pack of 8...nothing special. I expected more from how it’s marketed as a perk of their restaurant

Food is always good. They were super busy tonight, and the service was pretty bad. Our waitress tried hard, but I think it could have been better. When my water sits empty for a long time, and I have to ask for a refill, is when the rating starts to drop. They added an arcade where they're brewing vats used to be, so that's pretty cool to help keep the little ones entertained, but when the parents just let they're punk a$$ kids run around like lil A-Holes, it makes it not so fun for the littler kids....PARENTS > PARENT YOUR CHILDERN!! It's literally your job!! No one elses!! (I digress) To summarize, if you're not in a hurry and want some good food, this is your place. And it's great for a group!
Chip H (Chipinator) — Google review
The service was great and the beer good but our pizza was made incorrectly and our appetizer was not a full serving cause some had fallen off the plate and they made us wait for 2 pieces of bread 15 min. Why not just bring out a whole other order. We had 8 people in our group 4 kids so the 2 pieces were a big deal. No pineapple on our Hawaiian pizza was a big deal too

I have to say this was one of the best experiences I've had in a restaurant. I brought my wife in for her birthday with 19 guests today (6/24) and it was wonderful! I scheduled it 3 weeks ago and the process was easy and smooth. When we arrived everything was set up perfectly. The staff was awesome! The manager (I didn't get his name) was super helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. Our waitress (Sarah) did an outstanding job! She was fast, efficient, friendly and was right in top of our orders and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. Our pizzas were delicious and done quickly. I could not have asked for a better experience! To top it off, when she (Sarah)realized they were all out of chocolate chip cookies, she purchased out of her own pocket, a wonderful cream puff as a gift!! How about THAT for going above and beyond! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Grants Pass Wild River Pizza for your next birthday party or just a great dinner experience! Thank you so much!

Had high hopes for the brews but 3 out of 5 choices we saw on their website was not being served. Waitress stayed the Barleywine hadn’t been on tap since she’s been there, over a year ago. Yet being advertised on the website. The stout was a 7/10. Food was portioned way too much and not a lot of flavor on the chicken salad. Wings were supposed to be naked extra crispy but they didn’t come out that way. Thin crust pizza was good. The bacon jam burger was good. Overall a disappointment.

We had my sister's 80th birthday party here. The food was great. Waiters were on top of it, making sure that our needs were taken care all night. By far the best service. You did a fantastic job. Thank you.

I want to leave a 4-star review as this used to be a Grants Pass staple, but the last 2 times I've visited have been let down... Pub Fries, and Onion rings are still great, with some good pizzas on the menu. But we visited a couple weeks ago and should have received more bang for our buck when spending over $120 on dinner. The pasta alfredo was weak for the price, very small portion and the amount of upcharge for a couple bites of chicken or shrimp was on par for the price of everything else. I used to go here strictly for the calzones and remember atleast 4 options now they just have the Quarry and I believe it's north of $20 with average fillings and portions. We had a couple family members order pizza and they arrived cold, in my opinion if you're amongst the highest priced pubs in Grants Pass then patrons should receive the highest quality...

Came for a late dinner, got 2 mini pizzas and tried the parmesan garlic fries. We both enjoyed the thin crust pizza, super crispy. The pepperoni was also delicious! We also enjoyed both pints we got, I highly recommend the Jerry, crisp and clean.

It was my first time at Wild River Brewing, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised from the start. The atmosphere was family-friendly and relaxed. Good seating and clean. The menu had a nice variety, too. Everyone in our group of 10 adults ordered different items: pizza, burgers, pasta, and I ordered their Barbecue Brisket Plate for $19.99. It came with a green salad and Creamy Gouda Macaroni and Cheese. What an excellent meal this was! The brisket was smoked and then grilled to the perfect melt in your mouth degree. I took one picture of the meal... but it’s in my take-home leftovers box because I was well into the meal by the time I realized this meal and this place are gleaming review worthy. Yes, I do recommend Wild River Brewing in Grants Pass, Oregon, as a great place to get a great meal!
Beverly Cross — Google review
Ordered a large 16" 'THE MEDITERRANEAN' pizza, $39. Supposed to come with sundried tomatoes but there were none to be found on the pizza I received. The toppings that were there were sparse except for the sliced fresh tomatoes that covered the pizza only in the center, with a good 3 inches of just plain crust around the entire edge. When I call them out on total lack of sun dried tomatoes and just a lack of ingredients in general on a $39 pizza all they offered was a $5 credit for the lack of sun dried tomatoes. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone and I won't be going back to spend more money just to claim a measly $5 credit. Worst pizza I have had in a long time.

We're staying in the area for a couple of days of wine tasting and we're craving pizza and beer on our first day. Saw the reviews for Wild River and decided to give it a try. We had the Deli Delight and were very happy, crispy thin crust and so flavourful. My IPA loving husband loved the Jerry's Pale Ale! The whole experience was made even better because of our awesome server Jen!

First time here, walk in the door and the distinctive smell of a Woodfired pizza fills the air. The atmosphere is inviting. We get seated right away on a Sat afternoon. The menu was filled with choices other than pizza. I chose to get a Rueben. My wife got chicken pesto pasta. My daughter and grand daughter shared a pizza. The service was good, but I did get my Rueben when everyone was just about finished eating. The flavor I got was not what I expected, not even close. The flavor was mediocre at best. My wife said the same for the pesto pasta. They forgot the chicken part. My daughter was happy with her pizza. Overall, the food was not bad. The prices were steep for the taste of the food. It was a pleasant experience, but I won't go out of my way to come here again. Try and see for yourself
