Garden
Nature & Parks
Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is a futuristic botanical garden featuring modern greenhouses and waterfront parks. The iconic "Supertrees" are 16-story-tall sculptures with solar cells, offering great views of the gardens and the city skyline from their viewing platform. This unique attraction showcases Singapore's love for technology and nature, blending fascinating architecture with a diverse collection of plant species. The garden's bulbous glass conservatories on the waterfront exemplify this harmonious combination of nature and innovative design.
Beautiful garden in the city. They have beautiful flowers blooming all year round. Never get tired walking and admiring flowers in the air-conditioned flower domes. Good idea to join as member and get unlimited all year access including specialty 💐 exhibitions, come with 2 hours free parking for each visit.

An integral part of Singapore's "City in a Garden" vision, Gardens by the Bay spans a total of 101 hectares of prime land at the heart of Singapore's new downtown - Marina Bay. Comprising three waterfront gardens - Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central - Gardens by the Bay will be a showcase of horticulture and garden artistry that will bring the world of plants to Singapore and present Singapore to the World. We visited in June where there was a Belgian theme at Floral Fantasy, highlighted by the cute bear statues and cheese displays! Perfect for pictures and a good laugh. It was really beautiful. The parks are so big and has a lot of attraction. I paid $20 for cloud forest. It was totally worth every single cent. The view was breathtaking and to learn how the system works all together impressed me. There are a lot other attractions that are free but I didn't have enough time for all. You need to walk a lot because it is huge. But they do provide transport service. Loved the night experience - had the view from ground level and it's totally free.( Don't miss this light show 🔅). Beautiful scenery and atmosphere. We will visit again in the future.🌴🌳

Incredibly beautiful garden both in the daytime and night time. There are light shows every day twice and it is getting crowded closer to the show time so it's better to come early if you want to watch the shows. The light shows are spectacular with music and light patterns change frequently. Otherwise, it is also great to just walk around. Lots of greenery.

Very well kept and beautiful park. It is the crown jewel of the city. There is a light show. It gets busy. But the show is very impressive. You can get a bit lost. There are interesting exhibitions. Flower exhibit closes at 19:30. There is access to the marina bay sands from the park.

Beautiful work of Art for sure, you can’t have enough of it, there is so much beauty to experience, I had a brief visit but will definitely come back and if in Singapore it’s a must visit! The flower dome was one of my favorite! I mean, we all love flowers 💐 don’t we?

We visited Gardens by the Bay on one of my business trips to Singapore. This place is amazing. The large number of plant species from around the world in one climate controlled place is simply astonishing. It's not crowded when we visited and were able to enjoy the space. We felt refreshed after getting a huge dose of fresh air and generally happy with how the place is arranged. This is a great place for a family morning walk, day trip or for people who love plants. I highly recommend this place. 👍👍

Wonderful experience, was expecting them to be overrated but was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was. We got there by 6 pm and spent 2 hours cycling (cost us between $1.5 - $ 2.0 each) and explored the free areas of the park after which we saw the light show around 8:45 pm which was beautiful. Make sure to take a blanket or sheet with you if you plan to see the light show as it’s best viewed lying down.
Atikah Abid — Google review
It’s pretty much a prerequisite in Singapore to visit the gardens, and although it does get somewhat crowded with tourists it’s worth the visit. I’d recommend going close to dusk so you can see everything both in daylight and then lit up as it goes dark. It can be hard to get gaps in the crowd at that time of day, however, so if you want to see it less crowded it’s worth going as soon as it opens in the morning
Paul Dobson — Google review
It's a huge garden with different entrance. The night show is good and satisfying for eyes. I can sit and walk around the garden whole day😄 but just the weather mostly is too hot. It has few eateries and souvenir shop. Special decor is done on various occasions throughout the year. Don't miss to see the dome if you are on a tour here.

Gardens by the bay is One of the top list tourist spots to visit in Singapore. Even if you just intend to have a good walk, the place always delivers the most amazing beautiful place. The garden is always clean with magnificent architecture and loads of different plants which come from different countries as well. And it's an extra bonus if they have events which they usually are not charged for. How great it is!!! And if you like to check the domes, the entrance fee is reasonable. And it will not disappoint you with its beauty plus good rest from the humid weather. Even my little one enjoys it and it's nice learning to appreciate nature. And don’t miss their light shows at night! So much good things to say on this place. Better check with yourself 😊 Thanks to all the staff who maintained the place! You guys are wonderful!
Leah Loy — Google review
We were greeted by a refreshing and cool breeze, thanks to the innovative climate control technology employed throughout the gardens. This made our visit all the more enjoyable, especially with kids. Another highlight of our visit was the Flower Dome, a vast greenhouse showcasing a vibrant display of flora from around the world. The kids were in awe of the colorful blooms and the diverse landscapes within the dome. There are different themes throughout the year. A learning opportunity for the little ones to discover different plant species and understand the importance of biodiversity.
HJ Liew — Google review
I visited cloud forest and flower dome then watched the night show. I’ve been to both about 10 years ago. I expected they changed a lot but almost the same. You can see many rare plants at flower dome. If you are scared of heights cloud forest is not for you. There are restaurants in the garden but all crowded so I had to eat a hot dog outside… you better make a reservation or avoid lunch time. Night show is beautiful and fantastic. I saw a wild lizard when I was walking around the garden. It was huge! The garden looks artificial but I was happy to see wild animals live there.

A must do if you are visiting Singapore, get the tickets online before you go and you will absolutely love it! We saw the most beautiful and exotic flowers, and the most amazing Olive trees which were almost a thousand years old. Go by 4pm so you get enough time to visit the Flower dome,Cloud Forest and Supertrees. There is a very nice light show which starts at 7.45 pm which is not to be missed! You can take a cab to go there or else can also walk from Marina Bay Sands Mall. Its about a 30 min walk from Gardens by the Bay to the Mall. Very beautiful and unique! Highly recommended 👌

Easy access, super easy to find. Its near to the cruising port. The 2 domes were well set out and its wheel chair friendly ... Loved the cloud forest and the view from the walkway. Majestic Supertree Grove featuring the iconic sky bridge... The tranquil waterfall.... the diverse range of plant species. The views were spectacular and the plants were amazing. The Avatar garden was brilliant for me and loved the movie. Its a cool and calming respite from the heat and bustle of the city. The entrance fee was quite expensive but worth going with family. Recommend to buy ticket in advance ... to avoid the queue. Its truly a one-of-a-kind experience!

A really pretty and great place for a morning walk! I love the lush green scenery and the fresh air it provides, really energizing air for you when u take a breathe here. The pond was calming, and I found a few local elders enjoying the morning walk. Must be nice to be able to run here everyday ☺️

This place will make peace in your eyes and the scenic view will amaze you. It is a must-visit place for nature seekers, as it offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. The natural beauty of this place will leave you feeling rejuvenated and connected to nature. It is the perfect destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in the wonders of the great outdoors.

I have been to Singapore many times for work. The Gardens by the Bay is a great place to unwind. Always a place I would take someone to show the greatness of Singapore. Walk around the gardens and enjoy the outside for free. The most amazing parts of the Gardens by the Bay in my opinion are the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. The 2 Domes you have to pay for Cloud Forest Adult $28 Child (3-12 yrs old) $15 Adult Flower Dome Adult $20 Child (3-12 yrs old) $12 I would allow 3-4 hours for everything. This is well worth it!!!!
Alex Broadbent — Google review
I was a little sceptical about this place but it was really good! The gardens are accessible via the mall at the bottom of Marina Bay Sands. The space is big and a lot of it is accessible without purchasing a ticket at all - Including the Super Tree Grove where the light show is held each evening around sunset. The indoor flower dome (paid entrance) was fine. It features flowers, plants and trees from around the world mixed with sculptures and a couple of restaurants. We were a little underwhelmed to be honest. The second large indoor space the Cloud Forest (paid entrance) more than made up for it. There is a sky walkway, waterfalls and hundreds of huge tropical plants. The interior of the mountain is also home to a crystal exhibit and soon to host an Avatar experience. We got some great shots and really enjoyed our time here. The space is misted every hour or so which makes it even more atmospheric. We booked tickets online in advance for the Flower Dome + Cloud Forest. We arrived about 45 minutes before sunset to experience the place in daylight and night time and to see the light show.

It was an astounding experience. Recently had the pleasure of visiting a truly breathtaking garden. Well maintained. New learning opportunity about different kinds of plants and flowers for the little ones. It invites us to reconnect with nature’s splendor. Planning to visit there again. Absolutely beautiful. One of the best recreational spaces in Singapore.
Hsu Wai Lin — Google review
You don’t wanna miss the light show at 7:45 & 8:45 PM daily. Get your perfect spot early since the it gets crowded few minutes before the show starts. We set a tripod since we wanted to film it with us on the video. Advantages are you won’t be tired from recording & just enjoy the show through your eyes. Quite a walk from Cloud Forest hence we allotted hours for the Avatar experience to make it in time for the light show before our flight.

Gardens by the Bay was a great attraction! Me and my sister had a great time there on the last day of our trip to Singapore! It was a solid 4-hour experience for someone who likes to adsorb calming environments and information. It was like any other botanical gardens or museum, and the flower dome was air-conditioned, which was great! The super tree was an observation deck both indoors, which was air-conditioned, and an outdoor deck around the super tree! 👌

Just amazing! A must see! An exquisite mixture of architecture and verdant life combined together in one reality! You get to complete different views morning and evenings. I highly recommend the evening light show ! Have fun 😌

Lovely place with many nice photo spot in the park. Now they are setting up for Christmas Wonderland for December so many nice Xmas theme decorations. For Flower Dome and Cloud Forest is a ticketed area but so cooling and lots of pretty flowers.

Even with the poor weather we encountered during our time walking around the gardens it was still a nice place to walk around with the different gardens, lakes and the super tree grove. Plenty of places to eat and all relatively close together. The light and music show by the trees was really good but must be viewed from the ground, seeing it from the Marina Bay Sands rooftop wasn’t as good.
Dads — Google review
Super enjoyable! We walked all over enjoying the trees, nature, the grass, the exhibits, and of course the tree sculptures! Very cool that they put real plants in the structure of the trees. Plenty of views of the Sky Bridge. Take photos. Very unique. Enjoyed it! Bring a few bottles of water or get plenty of sweet drinks!

One amazing do not miss attraction in Singapore. The two domes are our stable to visit. The Cloud forest is just an amazing structure and experience while the flower some have an expanse that could hour a small village. And the seasonal display is something to look for. Get your tickets online in advance - it’s cheaper and less hassle.

Place is good... But, information availability is poor. . They've sign boards. But, bit confusing. I didn't feel cloud forest is a worthy one. Enjoy, flower dome and floral fantasy along with the 4D show. Ticket prices are cheaper at terminal 1. Check it out..

Beautiful place!!! 🌺🌿 I arrived at 5:30 am to the place in a taxi from the airport. you can see the lights before they turn off. I spent a really nice time there! If you have long connection in your flight go for it!!!!!! I love the vibes! ♥️🌼🌸🌷🇸🇬

Absolutely stunning! The light show at night is amazing and breathtaking. This is a must-see when you visit Singapore. The crossing over the bridge is also worth the money. The light show in the evening is free and takes place every evening at 7:45 and 8:45 pm. We also visited the Cloud Forest and the Flower Dome. You should plan some time to see the two exhibitions.

I wish I could go back in time and visit Gardens by the bay again and again. It was all worth it. What a stunning technology, from the way they have done the place, I must say that every bit of the attraction is unique and marvelous. It was absolutely magical. I loved the cloud forest. If one could think of what Paradise will look like in the afterlife, it will look exactly like the cloud forest. Since the Flower dome was closed on the day we were supposed to visit the attraction, we used the same ticket 5 days later to visit the flower dome without paying anything extra. This attraction is straight out of some magical fairytale.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens, established in 1860 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, spans 82 hectares of tropical paradise. It features lush lawns, ancient rainforests, tranquil lakes, and themed gardens. The National Orchid Garden within the premises showcases the world's largest collection of tropical orchids. For families, there's the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden with interactive features.
Gorgeous gardens, beautifully kept and maintained. Plenty of path ways throughout. Gardens have many different spaces with a wide variety of plant and tree types, a lot of wildlife scattered around too. Just a shame we couldn't spend longer there. Loved the orchid gardens the most, absolutely massive variety in orchids

I didn’t get to see the whole garden but it was beautiful! I loved the lakes and amazing flowers all around. They were celebrating Christmas by planting 100 trees and that was amazing ! There are these beautiful vintage lamps that I just couldn’t get over. It’s a Great Walk and the park is detailed with little graphics of information and signage is very helpful. One of the free attractions of the city! I recommend going for a picnic and chilling in the gazebos after taking short walks all around :)

Deserving of the UNESCO heritage site. Well manicured and maintained. Great layout with huge variety of plants. Went during a cooler evening and had a great 5 km walk. Recommend to pop by the national orchid garden. Amazing experience.

A must visit place for any plant lover. If there's a place in Singapore where nature truly unfolds its grandeur, it is the Singapore Botanical Gardens. Please be ready to walk a lot! This garden boasts an impressive collection of lush tropical flora. The garden is very well maintained. The entry is free but, tickets are required for the orchid garden. The National Orchid garden has numerous varieties of orchid and one can view orchids in multiple colours. the trails lead to various beautiful views like the eco lake, the various plant types and mainly the orchid. The green house room trial was very beautiful. We were lucky to go on a cloudy day and was able to experience this with a beautiful weather. This garden is a UNESCO world heritage centre. This place is a must-visit for locals and tourists and, it truly is Singapore's green gem.

Such a beautiful place. Really enjoyed my walk in the different gardens. Although it gets quite hot after 11am, there’s lots of tree shade which helps. Bring water and a cap. There are a few water coolers but they are difficult to find.

I was here in November. A little bit hot but popular as always. Amazing walk through the path of geographic history. Nice rock landscape. Nice trees & flowers. Good cafe nearby!

I spent a couple of hours exploring the beautiful Singapore Botanic Gardens whilst spending a few days exploring the city. Unlike the Gardens by the Bay, the Botanic Gardens feels a lot more natural - inviting nature to flourish. It’s very well looked after, and there were plenty of toilets, and areas to seek respite from the hot Singapore sun. There are plenty of different areas to explore, so if you’re looking for a beautiful green space to enjoy in Singapore - the Botanic Gardens ticks all the boxes.
Joel Pagett — Google review
Assumed this would be my least favourite thing to do in Singapore actually turned out to maybe be the best. The gardens are stunning, full of amazing trees, plants and wildlife. We saw turtles, several monitor lizards. Fantastic morning.
Ben Crabtree — Google review
Singapore Botanic Garden is an awesome place for tree lovers and people of all ages. It's a wonderful place for bringing kids and friends. It's also a great place for walking and running. It'll be wise to wear light and white or light colour cloths to seek comfort in humid and high temperature weather. There are a sufficient number of seating arrangements. Along with a large variety of plants, you'll also be able to see turtles, fishes, and birds.

A MUST visit in Singapore. I even recommend the Gardens more than the Zoo. The place is gorgeous. They hold a massive variety of plants, many which I hadn’t seen before and it is a quiet place too. The ticketed part of the gardens is even better. The cool garden where they hold worldwide species of orchids is absolutely stunning, and it provides a nice cool break from the intense heat. Spent more than three hours here (lunch included). Lovely place

This is a fantastic place to visit. It has beautiful views for free. The air is fresh and there are many different plants to see. It's a peaceful and relaxing place. I recommend going there for a nice walk and enjoying nature. However the Orchid Garden is not free. For adult it's SGD 15.
Rahal Jayawardane — Google review
The botanical gardens were amazing and definitely a must-see experience. Give yourself enough time, as it is huge. I only went for a little stroll and to see the Orchid garden - beautiful! Wear comfortable shoes and clothing, there are toilets situated in the park and the gardens. There were two disabled toilets, that I found and every MRT station in Singapore has a toilet. It rained heavily when I went to the gardens, so always best to have a good raincoat. There is one path in the orchid garden, this also means you start and exit at the same place. What goes down, must come up! Not so easy in a wheelchair, if you are travelling alone like myself. It is doable and there are gardeners around to help you if you need. Depending on the day to go, you can buy online - I brought my ticket on the day and it was fine. The photo that has the tall trees, the cafe and the gift shop is where the accessible toilet is, and the staff are very friendly.
Janine Kazmi — Google review
What can I say about Botanic Gardens? It’s one of our favorite places to visit and we go there quite frequently. It’s a reasonably large park with a lot to see over a range of different landscapes and themes. You can go there again and again and keep finding something new and engaging. It’s also a great place for a leisurely walk or a challenging run, as it’s fairly hilly. It’s only around 4km in circumference but if you learn the paths through the park itself (the signs can be confusing since the paths tend to twist and turn a lot), you can get in even 15 or 20km with little repetition. In addition to the plants and flowers, there is also a wide variety of wildlife: birds, insects, reptiles, and even otters and monkeys. There are also places to eat, drink, and just take a rest. There is also the National Orchid Garden inside, as well as a variety of museums. If you’ve never been or if you’ve been but haven’t fully explored all the park has to offer, please go and see all that it has to offer. You can even watch the robots go over the lawn at night.
Anton 999 — Google review
What a park! Lots of plants are seen their. The attracted things are their that the plants are maintain properly and classified them based on their medicinal properties. Even the name of the specific site is different. It was really a very charming and recommended place. If you have time please go their and enjoy the beauty of nature.

This is the best botanical garden I’ve been to! It’s a huge garden and it’s free to enter although the Orchid Garden was an extra cost ($15 for non residents) The orchid garden is the world’s largest display of tropical orchids! Saw some orchids that I’ve never seen before. The celebrity exhibit was really neat too. The mist/cool dome was a perfect place to hide out from the humidity. Highly recommend to do if you’re a nature lover!

I visited Gardens By The Bay and Singapore Botanical Gardens as well and both these places offer unique experiences on their own. These gardens are huge and the entry is free. There is a rainforest inside the garden as well. The National Orchid Garden is beautiful though it has a separate ticket. I was mesmerized by the beauty of this place and I would love to explore this place again.

Let me tell you, Singapore Botanic Gardens is a revelation. I wasn't sure what to expect, maybe some rows of flowers and a nice walking path. But this place is massive, and it's like stepping into a different world. The air is thick with humidity, but it feels refreshing, scented with all these incredible plants. I wandered through the orchid garden first, and I swear my jaw was on the floor the entire time. There must have been thousands of orchids in every color imaginable, all looking like delicate works of art. I even saw a couple with what looked like a new bride holding a bouquet of orchids so rare they almost glowed. The rest of the gardens were just as stunning. Lush green palms towered overhead, sunlight filtering through their leaves in dappled patterns. There were hidden corners bursting with vibrant flowers, little ponds with water lilies, and even a ginger garden that smelled like a spicy dream. It wasn't just beautiful, though. The gardens were peaceful too. Even though there were other visitors, the place felt sprawling enough that I could find a quiet corner to just sit and breathe in the fresh air. It was the perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Honestly, I can't recommend the Singapore Botanic Gardens enough. Whether you're a nature lover or just need a break from the concrete jungle, it's a must-visit. And the best part? It's completely free!
Thanh Hảo Lê — Google review
Whole day is not enough to explore these vast and stunning gardens. I was fortunate with the weather, it was raining heavily which made the scenery look like I’m in a real rain forest. Make sure you visit the Orchid Gardens as that’s definitely the highlight of the whole gardens. (Entry fee $15 but absolutely worth it). I have no words to describe how beautifully built and maintained these gardens are.

We visited it today and were blown away. It's magnificent and a must! Bring your picnic and have it in the park. Then, we visited the orchard garden and the museum. A must! It's exceptional! We spent around 4 hours there. It's worth every minute! Even when it's very humid and hot you can find a cool spot in the park.

One of my favourite nature parks to walk in Singapore. Came on a Saturday evening and witnessed orchestra at the symphony lake. Many cute dogs and people having picnic. Many different routes and exits to get “lost” happily. Toilets are everywhere too and it’s right outside mrt station, so very accessible. Many food spots so don’t be afraid of getting hungry or thirsty! Really an idyllic place that is suitable for all ages, and even wheelchair friendly!
Han Lee — Google review
Big areas to walk and burn calories, at the same time wind down to get close contact with the natures. Free of charge for the entry except for the orchid entry. Minus 1 star because can't smell any fragrance during the daytime at the Fragrance Garden.
Tang Augusta — Google review
Whether you love orchids or not the Orchid Garden at the Singapore Botanical Gardens is stunning. There are orchids growing here that you would normally have to climb some very remote very high and very cold mountains to see in the wild. Some orchids are bigger than a grown man’s hand while others have a magnifying glass in front off them so that you can see them. The gardens are a very serene center amidst the hustle and bustle of a vibrant city. Allow at least 90minutes in the orchid garden. Arrange a packed lunch so that you can spend your time ambling around the rest of the gardens

The Singapore Flyer, the world's largest giant observation wheel, offers a unique experience for visitors to enjoy breathtaking views of the city. With its 28 glass cabins slowly revolving at 165m above ground level, it provides panoramic vistas of Marina Bay and its architectural landmarks. The observation wheel also offers various packages including high tea and butler-serviced flights, allowing guests to be pampered while taking in the stunning scenery.
I love a city with a flyer! So worth the visit as Singapore has one of the most unique and interesting skylines in the world, the buildings are truly amazing! Also great to see the Marina Bay Circuit all lit up at night!
Nikki Vasiliadis — Google review
A 30 minute slow rotating wheel provides quite a nice view of the marina and surrounding area. Each pod is only partially being filled so there was plenty of space to move around for various views and photo opportunities. There is also a bench in the middle if you want to sit back and enjoy. Sunset provided an incredible view and I'd recommend riding around that time.

A lovely attraction which I visited during daytime as I had planned to visit Marina Bay Sands observatory at night. There is a small museum kind of a place as well here where you can know about the history of Singapore in an interactive manner. You can also see F1 circuit clearly from here and other prominent attractions as well. Don't miss this place if you visit Singapore.

Absolutely breathtaking views for a reasonable price. You can take in the scenery of Singapore from peeking at Sentosa to the cityscape in comfort. The time capsule area to go through prior to the Flyer was also a neat addition. I quite enjoyed the animated history lessons by the cute robot and kaleidoscopic area. Definitely recommend.

My trip to the Singapore Flyer was truly remarkable, and I'd like to share it briefly. Experience: The Singapore Flyer, a colossal observation wheel, offers stunning city views. Boarding one of its capsules, I was instantly captivated by breathtaking panoramas. From the top, I could admire iconic landmarks like Marina Bay Sands and the city skyline. The ride was smooth and provided a unique perspective. Services: The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Audio guides were available inside the capsules, offering interesting insights. Cost: Prices vary by ticket type and promotions. Check their website for current rates. Tips: Visit in the late afternoon for the best lighting. Prepare for the weather. Don't forget your camera. Suggestions: Add more dining options. Offer family/group discounts for accessibility. In summary, the Singapore Flyer provides a memorable, high-flying adventure with stunning views of the city. Don't miss it!

We took the ride around sunset. Gives a nice panoramic view of the city, especially the Marina area. The colour play of the sunset would be an added benefit if you could time the visit appropriately. Must-visit-place for tourists.

Its walkable distance from Marina or Gardens by the bay, i would say you can skip it if you are going to Marina Sand bay observation desk as its nothing extraordinary, if you are running tight on schedule then you can skip it and you won't be missing much but yeah if you have enough time to explore around then can go here. Time capsule is cool too.

Went here 10 years ago but at night time. A decade later and they have the time capsule element before you come in. This interactive element is pretty cool and definitely worth the ticket price. Then you go on the actual flyer with fantastic views of Singapore 🇸🇬 and the surrounding skyline. If you are scared of heights then this won’t be your cup of tea. But the air conditioned capsules are very safe and very stable. Should be one of the attractions to go on when in Singapore 👌🏼

Best time to visit will be during the sun set. You can see the entire city from this flyer. Wonderful experience. One of the must visit sites in Singapore. Time capsule museum before entering the flyer gives you an amazing detail about how Singapore developed over the period since its independence.

Wow what a way to see Singapore! Took a group of 8 up in the wheel on a pre booked tour and the views are amazing. I’m sure amazing a night sloughs wonderful through that day to see all the highlights of the city.

So thankful to be able to get on the sunset ride on 9/1/22. However, the queue to go on the flyer was more than an hour and a half which was faster than the expected 2hours. This could be due to many bookings using the rediscovery vouchers. Worth experiencing it at least once in a lifetime. 😊

Case: 2202016M Surveillance at Singapore Flyer. Making observation from adjacent cabin. Singapore had the most unique and interesting skyline in the world. This is one of Singapore’s landmark and unique icon. Well organised and staffs are kind and helpful. Special concession tickets for senior citizens. Cabins are clean and well maintained. Day and night time are different experiences. Superb view of Singapore skyline and southern area. Crowd during sunset time. Night views from the cabin is amazing with beautiful bird eye view of the city with lighting. Beautiful Marina Bay Sand light and water show. I was lucky to catch the light show at The Gardens by the Bay! I recommend all who like to have a bird eye view of the city in the day and night.

An interesting engineering feat that enables families of visitors to view and admire Singapore's Marvel's together from a good height in an enclosed cabin. Awesome views, especially if nature also joins to help.

This was very good...you ll get to see the whole city. You will feel safe and you will have the best view if it is evening or early evening as the lights will make whole view awesome. Note : Sometimes they suspend their operations due to weather conditions, so before visiting, check their website or their telegram page to confirm the same and proceed.

I'd visited this flyer 12 years ago and had refused to sit in the giant wheel. The Singapore Flyer is the finest flyer I've seen. It has big capsules, clean, nice benches, rotates steadily, and you can view the position on their app inside the capsule. You get a grand view of the city. It's simply amazing to view the Marina Bay, domes, etc and the colourful city lights. 🤓🤩 Highly recommend to take this ride. An added attraction is the Time Machine that tells the story of time. Elaborate storyboard is used for this. At the end there's an app in which you can click your pick n see yourself in the time bubble. Amazing moment. 💗

Great views across the bay - seeing the gardens from above, the sands hotel and the rest of the bay. Plenty of space in each pod and well worth a visit. There is an experience as you make your way to the front if you want to go on a journey - or rush to the main event but expect a queue. Definitely worth a visit.

We really enjoyed this and found it worth the money. It’s not cheap but nothing is in Singapore. We did it after dark and got a great view of the city lights. We bought tickets in advance and showed up 830 on a Friday night and had a very short wait and only 8 in our capsule

Singapore Flyer, one of the largest observation wheels in the world. Marvel at the breathtaking views of Marina Bay from the Singapore Flyer's capsules. You shouldn't be afraid because it resembles a closed capsule room.

This was a very cool way to see a lot of the city skyline at night! The cost is justifiable given both the “Time Capsule” exhibit at the beginning as well as the length of the ride and the chance to really soak in a lot of the sights! I thought this would be a gimmick when I first saw it, but I’m thoroughly glad to have visited!

One of the best attractions in Singapore The Singapore Flyer gives a full view of the entire city. It also has an attraction called the Time Capsule which is about Singapore's history and culture. The Singapore Flyer is open every day from 10 AM–10 PM. The flyer moves very slow and it was quite safe. We went on a weekday so it was not crowded. Book the tickets in advance to avoid huge waiting time. They also offer dinners and other events for special occasions (prices vary) Recommended to go in the late evening or night to see the night sky and lights.
Niharika Vijayan — Google review
We went at sunset 🌇 the views were everything. To see the whole city in a singular 360° glance. Definitely worth it! This is very slow-moving FYI. Can test your patience as you are stuck with a bunch of strangers in a small area. Just breathe and get through it!

The island offers a wide range of attractions including Fort Siloso, Fort Siloso Skywalk, Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom. Visitors can also enjoy upscale hotels and resorts with various dining options serving local and international cuisine. Sentosa Cove is a residential area on the island featuring luxurious mansions and condominium complexes with stunning sea views.
Plenty to do and a great day out, whatever your appetite for fun and adventure. The transport system works well and getting around is easy. Not the place for those on a budget however! The SkyHelix is relatively new and a little hard to find, but worth it.

A really great place for a getaway, and a must-visit in your lifetime! If you are coming by public transport, take mrt to harbour front station and take the free train to sentosa (Level 3!). So many beaches to explore and so much fun in store ❤️ Places I would recommend is Luge, Hydrodash and Adventure Cove! But there's wayyy more to explore hahahaha. If you're staying here, I would personally recommend Siloso Beach Resort, an eco resort with a spring water pool ;) see pictures I posted. Note that most eateries close early so plan your time ahead :)

Lots of hotels, Universal Studios, Sea Aquarium, and beautiful clean beaches perfect for running, chilling with family and friends, as well as bringing your dogs. There’s always something to do here! My wife and I happened to check out the Sunday Social Market this past weekend and we found some nice items for our dog and baby. Very well connected by various transportation options: there’s a beach tram, island monorail, island buses, as well as lots of carparks and cycling paths. So convenient from downtown as well. Such a beautiful place! It’s busy even after 10pm. There’s always something to do and see here. You’d need a full day to really enjoy and experience everything they have to offer. We came here only for Wings of Time but stayed for the buildings and attractions. We came late, but were still able to enjoy the area. The rail is pretty close to each other too so no need to walk all the way back to get on the train to leave.

Universal Studios Singapore, located on Sentosa Island, is a sprawling movie-themed amusement park that offers an array of attractions and entertainment for visitors of all ages. With seven distinct zones inspired by popular films and television shows, the park boasts thrilling rides such as Battlestar Galactica and Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure. Guests can also explore intricately designed streets resembling Paris and Hollywood, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a quick meal between adventures.
Lives up to the hype. USS can be enjoyed by all ages adults and kids alike. From theaters to rides to everything else, this place was simply amazing. Loved the transformers ride and for me it was the best out of all the attractions. Wings of time was another great show, amazing what they can do using water sprays, pyrotechnics and fireworks. Went using a 2 day pass and still it was not enough to cover all the attractions. It can be very crowded and for the best of rides there could be more than hour long queueu. Make sure to stay very well hydrated and try to avoid holidays or weekends to get the best of out of here. Overall it's an unforgettable experience.

Well, I would like to give 4 and half stars as currently a few rides are closed, however Human and Mummy are amazing rides and they are working very well... Transformers indoor ride is interesting as well...Don't forget to carry your shades and cap as it is an outdoor theme park... A few rides don't allow you to carry loose items with you so you need to either keep them I'm a locked which will cost you a couple of extra bucks or you will have to give your luggage to a non rider...

Definitely worth all the money, the trip and the sweat. A lot to do and see for adults and for kids. Good facilities along all the park, well designed and good entertainment. I loved trying all the different rides but my favourites are always the roller coasters and here there were some good ones. Beautiful to see all the light when is darker in the evening. All the staff was friendly.

Great adventure park. It has so many good rides and shows. I would definitely recommend getting an express ticket if you want to complete all the rides in a single day. For people coming outside of Singapore to reach here take the train to Vivo city mall station and take Sentosa walk. It's just a 1km walk with a good view. You can take the tram on the way back.

Incredible experience that I will remember forever. It was extremely fun and interesting. I loved meeting the characters around the park and loved the rides. I bought the express pass, and I think that it is an absolute necessity. The rides got up to 2 hours without an express pass, and I was able to skip half the waiting time consistently and even the entire line a couple of times. The lost world was my personal favorite feeling, truly like a dinosaur adventure, with fun rides to go with it.

It is a great place for youngsters with amazing roller coasters and other rides. But it was too much crowded and the wait time was really long. Recommended to get Express Pass if you want to enjoy the whole Universal Studios in one day.

Singapore’s only movie-theme park features 24 rides and attractions, including a pair of dueling coasters that brush past one another in several near misses in their aerial combat. Thrill-seekers can choose between a coaster where they are seated or the other where riders are suspended. Exciting loops, sudden turns, breathtaking drops and thrilling near-collisions will make you scream your heart out. Dinosaurs, lemurs, ogres and Egyptian mummies add to the thrills and adventures. With 18 attractions created or redesigned for Singapore, Universal Studios Singapore™ promises an experience that you will not forget.

It was indeed Universal !!! Have visited this place a few times in the span of 10 years... 2 or 3 stations are still the same, otherwise the segregation of stations is really good. Kids would lose their heart at this place. More of roller coaster rides and a couple of other experiences... Since it'll be over of the major tourist attraction in Singapore, expect crowd on all weekends and during peak season... May to July and Nov to January... When crowded the queue is long and the wait is too long... They have this express ticket but extra bucks too... If you're going when friends or just a couple of people... you could take the single rider lane, so you'll be sent in the rides with even just one seat to take with other groups...
Rajapandian Raja — Google review
Once in a lifetime experience and swings, after onetime paid entrance you can enjoy any ride or show for free , you won't have enough time to experience all the rides and shows for sure , have to visit again. But lots of thrilling and fun experience rides including 4D cinema, 4D rides and real scary lives 😅

This park is absolutely amazing. What a great day my family and I had. It is very different from Japan and the United States. But it's worth the visit. We are glad we got to see this park. My only issue would be. Where do you go to get picked up from a taxi or zig? They lack the information and employees to help guide you in the right direction that you need to go to in order to exit. It is quite confusing. I do suggest trying to go first thing in the morning. There is no waiting to get in and no waiting for any of the rides. The afternoon and evening are the busiest times to go. If you want to do the rides with no waiting and you want to get in the park with no lines, go in the morning.
HUBERT — Google review
Best time to reach to be able to access most rides would be between 9 and 10 AM. All rides, even on weekdays will have wait times of 60 mins or more. There are displays outside all rides about their expected wait times. The live shows are fun and lots of photo opportunities. Be prepared to walk a lot, good shoes and lots of water is helpful. Recommend getting the express pass although it's pricier, you can get into the rides a little more quickly.
Riyaz Walikar — Google review
It has a great selection of attractions, entertainment, and rides for families to explore. There are a total of 24 attractions, of which 18 are original or specially adapted for the park. The park consists of seven themed zones which surround a lagoon. The best time to visit would definitely have to be on the off-peak days, which are usually the weekdays. The crowds are lesser on these days, the chances of shorter queues for the rides are definitely higher. 1-Day Admission Ticket (Super Peak): S$ 92.00. [ADD-ON] Express Pass - Single Pass: S$ 87.50. The wait times are around 90 minutes and the park is open for about 7-8 hours. They sells one-day pass tickets and express tickets. A regular ticket would cost you $76 when you buy on the day itself. However, it is highly recommended that you book your tickets online, mainly because it's cheaper and you won't have to queue! Generally, most visitors spend a full day at the park, which can range from 8 to 12 hours. However, if you want to experience everything the park has to offer or plan to visit during peak season, you may want to consider allocating two days for your visit. Sentosa is open on all days including public holidays between 9 A.M -10 P.M. One is allowed to enter 30 minutes before closing time. - Visitors are not permitted to stay on the island unless they are staying in Cove or any hotels located on the island.

It was fun but wasn't very pleasant too as not all rides were functioning at the same time. This is not the usual, probably due to Covid safety measures. Opening hour has been shifted to 12 pm and closing time has also been adjusted to 7pm instead of 9pm. This forced visitors to leave the park and miss the opportunity to take photos of the night scene and also to enjoy dinner at the park. Kind of disappointing actually.

Lovely place to be with family and friends, especially your children will love this place. Decent budget, but the rides and theatres are awesome. I recommend to be there before the gate open and go on weekdays rather than weekends. If you were a fan of amusement park you should definitely buy express tickets it would save a lot of time. The theme park is not big you can go around in one day and there are a lot of shows such as taking photos with the characters and singing. I love all the decorations!

Awesome experience. I strongly suggest to buy universal express ticket to effectively use all rides without delay. Always go on a weekday preferably Monday or Tuesday for less crowd. Avoid the month of June as you will see huge crowd due to school holidays. Always put your belongings in Locker before going for any ride or else you will be forced to put your belongings in locker or non-rider before taking the ride.
Levi Unchanted — Google review
Nice theme park where you can find attractions for every age. The express package seems a bit of a rip off because you still have to wait in line for up to an hour at some rides... . I would have also liked to have some wait time milestones at the waiting lines. Also it would have been nice to have a separate line if one wished to ride in the first row. Also I don't understand why one has to use the lockers (for phone, wallet, bag) instead of using the shelves at the ride start. Other than that, all is nice, you can have drinks and there is a good variety of food available.

Universal Studios Singapore is an absolute must-visit attraction, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating. It was really amazing experience in Universal Studio Singapore. So many thriller’s rides available there. Specially Battlestar Roller Coasters, Transformers ride, Revenge of the Mummy, Jurassic Park, Far Far Away. One of my best ride was Transformers. Must visit, highly recommend. Every element of the park, from the exhilarating rides and stunning shows to the meticulously designed themed zones, is crafted to create an unforgettable experience. The staff is remarkably friendly and helpful, ensuring that your day is as smooth as possible. Be transported into various worlds, from Hollywood to Ancient Egypt, and let your imagination soar. However, be prepared for the hot and humid Singaporean weather when you visit – it’s advisable to stay hydrated and wear light, comfortable clothing. Despite the heat, this park truly offers a world-class entertainment experience that’s not to be missed.

Really enjoyed this attraction! We are two adults who havent been to a theme park in a while so this was exciting for us. Lots of food places just outside of Universal Studios, the sets inside were fantastic as were the rides. Definitely felt more and more motion sick after a while. The Mummy ride basically took me out for a while. We had the express pass but that day we went it was quiet enough to not make it worth it (we still used it anyway and saved a little bit of time).

We visited universal studios during a 2 day stop over in Singapore and had the best time! It was very hot but most of the queues had air conditioning or fans which made it much more comfortable. I loved the themes and the attention to detail was amazing. Personal favourite was the gift shop in far far away! The themed food was also really cool. Wait times were also reasonable, longest queue we waited in was 45 minutes, and opting to go on the more popular rides during the other shows helps as most people plan their day around watching the shows.

Wonderful themed and amusement park. Wait-time is too much for almost every ride, which is disappointing.. If you don't want to wait, then you need go for an express ticket, which is like double the entry fees. If you really want to experience all rides, then go for it. Otherwise, normal ticket should be fine. Overall, it is a nice place to have fun with family and kids.

Many people wonder if they can enjoy all the rides without an Express Pass, and the answer is yes. Ensure you visit on a weekday, like Thursday and be right on time before the opening time, and the trick is to avoid entering the rides near the entrance first. Start with those in the back or the ones with high demand, such as the Transformers ride. In the evening, the rides near the entrance are always empty, so that's the perfect time to go there. Use the Universal Studios app to check wait times and navigate accordingly, rather than following a set order. Mark down the meet and greet times and spots to arrive right on time. The roller coasters are worth it, and lockers are free for a duration of around 30-40 minutes. We checked roller coaster wait times, selected lockers, finished the ride, switched lockers, and went to the next ride, so we didn't pay for lockers at all. If you still lack time you can skip the enchanted airways and magic potion spin which looks less exciting after riding the main roller coaster rides. Yes, the food and drinks are expensive, but having a big breakfast outside and the motivation to try all the rides meant we barely felt hungry, so we didn't dine there at all. You can take water inside, so no need to buy their overpriced water and drinks. All the rides and shows were excellent, providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Buy the tickets online in a site like Klook which is cheaper.

Universal Studios Singapore in Sentosa is a world-class theme park that brings the excitement of Hollywood to life. Packed with thrilling rides, interactive shows, and themed zones featuring iconic movies and television series, it's a place where families and friends can create unforgettable memories. From battling dinosaurs in Jurassic Park to soaring through the skies on the Transformers ride, there's something for everyone. To maximize your experience and avoid long queues, especially during peak seasons, an Express Pass is highly recommended. It allows you to skip the regular lines for most attractions, ensuring you have more time to explore the park and soak in the beautiful atmosphere.

Great place with kids and family. I always loved this place!! Been there millions of time. Only update now is that some of the rides are open at certain times. Just check before you buy your ticket. Madagascar Old side was closed and was only open part was the king Julian’s Goround. Before you take the Express ticket think twice. Because we could do only few ride and of course due to weather safety and the time restrictions it’s very hard to run around. Just don’t waste the money until they fully open to have fun. But other than that always a great place for kids to adults and families to spend their time. Enjoy!

We love this type of parks and this is not an exception. It has s good variety and price is reasonable. They are currently opening at 12 and closing at 7 pm, which it feels quite short. We didn’t buy the fast express option and it was okay, just wish the park was open longer. If you like extreme but not that extreme the Mummy roller coaster is perfect!

I love this place . But only negative is too overcrowded. It opens at 11 am . One should try to get into it as early as possible . Most of the good rides has waiting time of more than 1-2 hours. Generally waiting feels torture. If one don’t want waiting then take express pass which is almost double the amount then normal pass. Approx 200 usd . It is almost impossible to see the whole universal studio in a day . Rides are awesome . Most amazing was the 9D experience transformers ride ..

While the park can get crowded, particularly on weekends and holidays, the quality of the rides and shows justifies a visit. This was an awesome experience for not just my kid but also for us. Be prepared to walk. Also if you are thinking about not getting the Universal Express pass, then my suggestion is to get it. We took the normal tickets and had to wait for 60 mins for some attractions in a weekday. With the pass, you'd have a different queue with little to no wait time. Do visit as early as you can do that you can enjoy all the shows as well as the different meet and greet. If you are visiting Singapore, then Universal Studios is a must visit attraction.

A visit to Universal Studios Singapore is an absolute must if you're in Singapore! Be sure to set aside a full day for this adventure, especially if you're planning to visit on a weekend. My friend and I went on a Saturday and, yes, some rides did have queues longer than 30 minutes, but trust me, it's all worth it! The rides are incredibly exciting and packed with fun. To make the most of your visit, I highly recommend downloading the Universal Studios app. It helps you keep track of waiting times for each ride and the show timings, ensuring you can plan your day efficiently. Two experiences that stood out for us were the Transformers ride and the Water World show – absolutely thrilling! Overall, Universal Studios Singapore offers an amazing day out for all ages. Highly recommended for an unforgettable adventure in Singapore!

Having been visited other such places, I strongly suggest not to rush it up on various events. It's completely mad house during initial entry hours but gets easier later on the day. Places where we took 45-50mins in waiting during the morning time were easily done during second half of the day. Although in comparison to other places here there is less to exploit, hence comfortable. Kids will certainly enjoy it. Transformers is the best.

Awesome place to visit just like any USS but here in Singapore 🇸🇬 it’s a different atmosphere that is a great experience for everyone. I enjoyed everything even though I’m not much a roller coaster rider as when in youth. I did do the Mummy experience and it was a bit rough for me but nice experience and the transformer wax good but I got dizzy. The food is plentiful and many different choices. Great pictures to take throughout the park. If going to the casino you need your passport. Definitely 👍 check it out.

Half of the rides were roller coasters. Not suitable for kids below 12. Most parents were just waiting outside. It was hot, occupied seating area and no air conditioning in some places. The water cooler wasn’t even cold. What I like the most was the efficiency of each ride. Great scenery and surrounding. Will I go for the 2nd time. I don’t think so. They should add variety of rides and entertainment.

Singaporean restaurant
The Coconut Club is a casual dining spot in Singapore that takes pride in its coconut milk-based dishes. Their signature dish, nasi lemak, features rich and sweet coconut-milk-infused rice paired with crispy ayam goreng berumpah. The restaurant's meticulous preparation involves hand-juicing Mawa coconuts from Perak, Malaysia to achieve ultra creamy coconut milk. In addition to nasi lemak, they also specialize in cendol, a popular iced dessert.
The Coconut Club is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a taste of the tropics in the heart of the city. The interior is beautifully decorated with a beachy, island vibe that instantly transports you to a tropical paradise. The seating is comfortable, and the decor is colorful and vibrant, with palm leaves and a thatched roof adding to the ambiance. The food at The Coconut Club is the star of the show. They offer a wide range of dishes that are inspired by the flavors of the Caribbean. The menu features classics like jerk chicken, oxtail, and plantains, as well as some unique twists on traditional dishes. Each dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are bold and delicious. The service at The Coconut Club is exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to make recommendations or answer any questions you may have. They go above and beyond to make sure that every customer feels welcome and comfortable. Overall, I would highly recommend The Coconut Club to anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. The food is exceptional, the interior is beautiful, and the service is top-notch. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a taste of the tropics without having to leave the city.

The Coconut Club is one of my daughter's favourite place to go whenever the nasi lemak cravings hit. We had these items for lunch today and paired it with Zarina Begum's teh tarik. I gave it 4 stars because they forgot to give us our Udang Nanas and I also prefer the fish to be scaled more efficiently but overall we had a very satisfying and enjoyable meal. The tapioca kueh was also very memorable and I had 4 pieces in one go after a full meal.

Poor service. Don’t bother. The food was good but the overall experience was a disaster. We have a reservation but there’s only one line including people who walk-in. Waited 10 minutes in line and the staff tells us that we are late to our reservation so dining time is cut short. We sat upstairs and apparently there is discrepancy between what you can order upstairs and downstairs. We were not aware of this and the waitress was very rude to remind us to review our email “that we booked upstairs”!! I explained to her it’s our first time at this location so we’re not aware of the rules to dine, nor have thoroughly read the fine prints of the reservation confirmation email. Seriously, this frustration can totally be avoided to just have different menus. Finally food arrives, it was good. But the only white wine on the happy hour menu is sold out, and with that information she just turned around and walked away. The hygiene level is also questionable. There was a piece of chicken bone on the floor waiting to be cleaned up for over 15 minutes. Staff just kept walking and kicking it around to see who else would clean it. Overall, poor service but food was good.

Great food, everything was tasty. The nasi lemak is fragrant and not too heavy. Highly recommend making a reservation for the upstairs dining room which is spacious and comfortable for larger groups.

The standards are still as great as before - in terms of food quality and service. Coconut rice was really fluffy and fragrant. Definitely not your usual Nasi Lemak rice which can be pretty oily. Heard their coconut milk is squeezed in house as well! Portion is also just about nice. Chicken breast was amazing with a tinge of lemongrass and turmeric. Rendang was my absolute favorite. Very tender with aromatics of coconut, chiles, and spice. Great balance. Special shoutout to fantastic staff Fifi for being such a great host. Friendly, entertaining and extremely helpful. Thank you! You made a huge difference to our dining experiences!

Really great place to go for upscale Nasi Lemak. I liked how they did it in the dinner service with communal dishes. The fried chicken is awesome and so is the rice. Sauces are nice too, and solid cocktail options.
Melissa Eisner — Google review
Food quality is very good. Service is prompt and accommodating. My drink however is a rip off with sugar powered cordial quality Calamansi and a sole Sour Plum with no taste influence at $6 - should be less sweet and have more home concoction for the sour plum part. For a total of $57, you are paying for the ambience and the reputation because it is very expensive all things considered.

Foods good, service is ok… great place to bring my foreign friends for an introduction of local meals and yet not too extreme on flavours. Price point is on the high side, if not I would say this a place I won’t go back to on my own. But if friends request or to bring overseas friend then I won’t mind to go back again. Definitely recommend this place for a try and be your own judge to rate this space.

Great tasting premium and familiar Malay food. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Atmosphere was really chill and inviting. There wasn’t enough time for me to chat, eat, and chill at the end due to the time limit. Reservation is recommended.

A+ first meal in Singapore - 18 hour flight from NY, checked into our hotel, walked in for dinner and enjoyed every bite. The nasi lemak with fried chicken was packed with flavor - the coconut rice, fried egg, peanuts, anchovies, cucumber, and samba mixing deliciously together. We also got the chicken satay, which my wife, a satay connoisseur, loved.
Brian Helfman — Google review
Very nice atmosphere and superb friendly and very well trained hospitable staff. The coconut rice was very fragrant, dishes are like an "atas" or fine-dining version of Malay/Indo food. Overall a good tasting experience despite a more "tamed" version of Nasi Lemak vibes, however the chilli was fantastic. Their desserts were underwhelming such as the durian chendol.
L Davis (SG) — Google review
Seriously I don’t understand what’s the hype about this place, simply overrated. The chicken is well marinated, that’s all. I think Punggol Nasi Lemak anytime taste better than this. The ladies finger is rather salty, the prawn curry is not worth ordering at all. Their lemongrass and calamansi drinks are ok. The place is very noisy on a Friday night. we got to shout across whenever we need to talk. The plus point is, waitress is patience and polite.
Angel Huang — Google review
Dishes are well done, especially The beef ribs are insanely good. However the price just doesn't justify it. The coconut rice is not very flavorful , the coffee is sour, and the dessert is just marginally better than normal ones with their 25% more fatty coconut 🥥
Musho Pea — Google review
Love the chicken leg Nasi Lemak! The chicken is so tender and juicy inside while being crispy outside!! Tgt with the peanut, chili and rice, it’s the best!! The vibe is very cozy with nice decoration and lighting. My friend and I walked in and get lucky to get an outdoor seat! Outdoor seat is a bit crowded when sharing with others but overall the experience is good. The pink guava with plum drink is nice too

Used to be their regular patron at the original shop (small shop beneath Ann Siang hill) when I work at Tanjong Pagar area. I still remember how good was their nasi lemak (before they gain their fame and star) and it was our comfort lunch almost every Friday. Was happy to see a new branch opened near my current office. But the visit was a complete let down. To our surprise (or shocking), their signature fried chicken wasn’t fried to order. We sat at our dining table, watching the chef plating their signature nasi lemak from the half open kitchen. He took the rempah fried chicken from an aluminium tray, plate it, and microwave and reheat the food before bringing to table.. Perhaps our discussion was too loud, the chef overheard our conversation and re-fry our rempah chicken before serving to us… What’s even more disappointing, was the chicken was still red (see photo). Well, I can’t say it’s raw or (bearing in mind the recent “raw chicken” argument and saga)? I’m not a professional chef to comment whether it is fully cook or sous vide or what, but yeah this colour of a FRIED CHICKEN and the texture definitely put me off. For me to spent $21 over this again? No next round. I miss the old coconut club where they serve good and hearty nasi lemak.
Phoebe Teh — Google review
Nice ambience, but note that if you make reservations and sit upstairs, you could only order ala carte. Sets are available only for ground level (no air con). Foodwise, yummy, especially the chicken that comes with ginger bits. The coconut rice is addictive. Be prepared to spend between $30 to $50 per person. Naturally, the taste justifies the price you spend. It does hurt the pocket a little regardless.

Went to the Beach Road outlet for a group dinner. I love the lovely and homely ambience. Though we were told that we would be seated separately in 2 tables of 3, the staff helped to rearrange the seating so we could all sit together. We appreciate the effort. The food is nice and yummy, especially the coconut rice is really lemak. However, for the price paid, I may not head back unless for special occasions.

As a local, The food here is truly an experience. The highlight for me would definitely be the rice. It's aromatic, the scent of the coconut is just amazing and the rice itself is fluffy and texture. Amazing to go with the condiments, especially the sambal chilli (which I believe is toned down for tourists) To truly enjoy the fresh coconut milk, get the cendol and you can immerse yourself in the creamy bowl of pandans jelly and chunky red beans

The Coconut Club is a great place to enjoy the local Nasi Lemak and anything that has coconut in it. This restaurant has a beautiful decor and a relaxed atmosphere, which I really like. The food is delicious, as well as their drinks, and I highly recommend them. A coconut shake is one of the must-order items you should order when you are here.

Came here on recommendation of a friend who lives in Singapore. The place is very stylish, not air conditioned too much, the upstairs area is very peaceful and good for a relaxed lunch. Of course we had to get a coconut shake and a coconut plus a coconut rice. The food was superb and beautifully presented. Waiters were knowledgeable and able to accommodate special wishes.

I had wanted to try out Coconut Club months ago, but the chance didn't happen till today.. Brought wifey to have lunch at the most "Atas (elegant) Nasi Lemak" in SG... Ordered - 2 x Signature Ayam Goreng Berempah Nasi Lemak, 1 x Gado Gado. Drinks - 1 Coconut Shake & 1 Coconut Club Mai Tai (Cocktail). The Rice is amazingly good, smooth coconut flavoured. The Sambal Chilli is scaled-down drastically as opposed to our local flavour. (Probably to appease the tourist tastebud). Both the anchovy and roasted ground nuts are mildly salted. (Just nice). Nice setting, nice ambience with retro music to compliment. Service by staff was good and fast with friendly disposition. Overall it is a good experience. Will revisit again. (But in the evening for a cooler environment)

The Coconut Club is amazing, in fact so good we went twice and both times ordered the terang asam manis (fried eggplant). They do the best beef rendang I have ever had. Fragrant, juicy and just falls apart, I miss it already. High mentions are also the homemade otah, gado gado, roasted brussell sprouts in coconut milk, and signature chicken nasi lemak. Wash them down with the coconut shake and cold brew coffee with coconut milk, both so refreshing. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it has a nice relaxed decor. The best Malay/ Indonesian I have ever had.

Ordered the nasi lemak and kueh pie tee. Nasi lemak was disappointing for the price paid. Chicken is over fried, meat was tough and dry. The most disappointing thing was that the food served to me was not hot. I dined in at the restaurant expecting piping hot food to be served to me. Honestly felt like the chicken has been sitting there for hours before it was served to me. Coconut rice was also of room temperature, why?? Why is it not hot? Do they not have rice cooker to keep the rice warm? Kueh pie tee was pretty good (although equally overpriced). Ambience in the restaurant was mehh. It was squeezy as they tried to fit too many tables and chairs into the area, which also makes the area noisy and difficult to talk to your friends. I was seated in the first floor, couldn’t really feel the aircon and it was stuffy.

vibes are really good here. food was not bad, we had the classic chicken nasi lemak and the fish otak nasi lemak. otak is good and fragrant. rojak was a disappointment; portion was small for the price paid and maybe due to the vegan version of it, the sauce is different from the usual. the coconut shake was too expensive at $10 (before taxes!), but it was very good. chendol was also nice with a generous dollop of coconut cream, but also abit pricey. overall would return again. the mains are worth the money. but the sides, desserts and drinks are probably where you pay for the vibes.

Burnt Ends is an Australian-style BBQ restaurant located at Dempsey Road, known for its open kitchen and counter seating in a lively and stylish space. The restaurant has earned one Michelin star, showcasing its commitment to delivering high levels of gastronomic excellence. Executive chef David Pynt uses well-insulated cement-walled ovens and impressive grills raised by an industrial-looking winch and pulley system to create honest, charred outer meats while keeping them tender and juicy inside.
The food is excellent - unique and delicious! Great relaxing atmosphere in this Dempsey eatery. Parking was ample during lunch. Service was both friendly and prompt. Food served nice and warm. The pulled pork burger was very good just as the rest of the dishes. Of course, the tenderloin was excellent. An overall wonderful lunch experience.

Excellent food and service. We went all in for the chef's select option which cost about $400 after all the charges (we ordered lots of drinks as well). The service is excellent with many notable dishes. CRAB, PORK AND BLACK TRUFFLE ravioli has a very nice char to it which highlights the aroma of the shellfish. Another highlight is the grilled mushrooms risotto. The lobster with roe butter sauce was cooked so delicately. Ended the meal with add on slider with pickle bath. Excellent meal! An absolute culinary gem nestled in Singapore's vibrant dining scene, Burnt Ends is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. From the moment you step in, the rustic yet inviting ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu boasts an exquisite selection of perfectly cooked meats, each dish crafted with precision and passion. The burnt ends, in particular, are a revelation – tender, smoky, and bursting with flavor. Accompanied by attentive service and an extensive beverage list, dining here is a journey for the senses. Whether you're a barbecue aficionado or simply seeking culinary excellence, Burnt Ends promises a gastronomic adventure like no other. A definite highlight of Singapore's culinary landscape.

Great food and great service. Their beef is so delicious, other dishes are also superb. I highly recommend their Chef’s Select menu. Alcohol choice is great as well. Also I love the decor and the old school vibe. One minor bad thing: we had to hunt for reservation for 4 months and when we finally got it we still had to wait 10 minutes outside in the heat. But it doesn’t taint the overall great impression, and they are moving to bigger place soon so it should be easier to get a reservation.

After a long awaited booking, the food did not disappoint. The dishes were intriguing to my taste buds, and the cooking perfection of simple ingredients did spark a lot curiosity and questions of how its made. The food served will bring your sensing to the next level as they put together the simplest of ingredients and their perplex seasoning over their handle of fire/BBQ style cooking.

Everything is as you’d expect at such a well known upclass restaurant. The food was fantastic and so was the atmosphere and service. We got the private room (can’t remember what it’s called) which was great to have our own private space and conversations. The food was truly well thought out and executed by the team and each course was well presented and explained. The ambiance was great and I appreciate the interior design and concept very much.

Super fun, super yummy, super people, burnt ends is such a lovely place to dine at and worthy of their Michelin star! This is a place that focuses on flavour bombs and not looking pretentious at all. Love the touch of fire and smoke in all their dishes that add a beautiful layer of complexity of flavour. Amazing hospitality and food! We were very well looked after, and we may have been over ambitious with the food. Nonetheless, it was great and cannot wait to be back! Only issue is that when asked about the water options, we didn’t know that still or sparkling was chargeable, and iced water wasn’t. Will be good if there’s transparency about $12 bottled water.

Had the dinner in the private room and the room is really beautifully decorated. It’s my second time here and first time in the private room. Food is as amazing as ever just that Some of the guests and I don’t fancy the bone marrow at all. I would also prefer the beef to be individually portion out with left over on the table for whoever needs to top up instead of leaving the whole chunk in the middle for 12-14 people struggling to portion out. Other than that I am so happy with my experience

Among the hardest to get reservations in town, but well worth the effort! I loved the casual yet refined atmosphere and food! We ordered a la carte, basically everything that sounded good to us and with some help of the super friendly waiter. Beef and uni is a classic and yes it is as good as it sounds. Some vegetable dishes and nibbles led us to the main, a flat iron steak with bone marrow and burnt onions. This was a straight 💯 Overall I really enjoyed the inherent smokey flavours all dishes incorporated in their taste profile. We ordered some white and red wine by the glass and the sommelier made great recommendations. As a traveller to Singapore I had very little time to pin down a reservation and indeed I could not get one using the online reservation tool. This was my third visit to Singapore without making it to Burnt Ends, so I decided to just try a walk in. I arrived at 11.30 and waited for them to open. Once opened I was told they are fully booked, but they can give me a table for 2pm. Awesome 🙌

Actually I love the food, service staff were friendly and helpful, however, I realized one of the chefs was super friendly to a group of customers from the same country. Even invited them to the kitchen. I felt left out in my own country just because I don't speak Tagalog. They also seemed to have special gelato or something. I don't understand why a chef cannot treat all customers the same and only be super friendly and nice to people of his same hometown. That kind of feeling spoilt the entire meal.

Tried the chef’s menu where the head chef Vincent prepared for us highlights of Burnt ends plus some new items. Really enjoyed the dinner. Firstly, the service was exceptional. One person on my table doesn’t eat raw food or beef and Vincent prepared a menu that catered to that for her. The food was also mind blowing. The food really made use of amazing fresh ingredients that are cooked to perfection. The beef steak at the end had a nice char to the crust. The uni on the crab toast was mouth wateringly good. The marmalade beef on toast was also so soft and delicious. Overall, a superb dinner. The cocktails and wine selection were also amazing, and I highly recommend ordering.

What truly stole the show for me was their innovative take on the classic fish and chips, topped with caviar. It was a culinary masterpiece that transported me back to the first time I indulged in fish and chips by the Sydney harbor. The attention to detail and the perfect balance of flavors showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs at Burnt Ends. Although I only had the opportunity to savor small bites during my visit, those tantalizing flavors left me eagerly anticipating a return to experience the full menu. Each dish seemed to be a work of art, meticulously crafted to please the senses. The use of caviar added a touch of luxury and sophistication, elevating the entire dining experience to a new level. The service was impeccable, with the staff displaying genuine passion for their craft. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was nothing short of perfection.

My experience at Burnt Ends was nothing short of extraordinary. Initially, attempting to secure a reservation more than a month before our trip proved challenging, as they were fully booked. However, a stroke of luck came our way when a fellow foodie from one of my groups suggested trying a walk-in. Intrigued, we decided to forgo a hosted dinner and give it a shot. To our surprise, we arrived at 6:15 pm, and within 30 minutes, we were comfortably seated at a table - the staff informed us we had until 8:15 pm. It felt like we had won a small lottery, and the anticipation for the evening grew. The atmosphere was everything we hoped for - chill, relaxed, and with a front-row seat to the culinary action. We enjoyed watching the chefs expertly grill our dishes, adding to the overall dining experience. The two-hour time frame was more than enough for us, and the feeling of exclusivity made the evening even more special. 🥰 As for the food, it was a symphony of flavors. From the perfectly cooked steak to the delightful cocktails, every dish was a masterpiece. The ambiance, coupled with the superb culinary skills on display, created a dining experience that was truly sublime. Burnt Ends exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary adventure in Singapore.

I recently had the pleasure of dinning here after a long battle with the waiting list for a reservation. Dining at Burnt ends is an unforgettable experience. The food, service and atmosphere are all top notch. Starting with the food, expect dry aged, charcoal grilled prime cuts of some of the worlds best beef and lamb paired with spice filled sauces. Full of rich flavor and umami. The sauces offered helped elevate the flavours to the next level. The staff were the perfect balance of friendly, approachable and professional. They were always happy to chat and share about the food and wine provided. Overall this was definitely a memorable experience and I look forward to my next visit.

Good food and lovely service. If it's your first time, definitely get the chef's selection to make the most of that elusive reservation slot. I want to preface this review by saying that I have a dietary restriction (no raw) which they graciously accommodated. So I didn't have all the caviar dishes that many would love. Some of my faves - grissini and taramasalata dish was absolutely bomb. The leeks, hazelnut, and white truffle dish has a lovely clean flavour. The mushroom with porridge was so simple yet crazy good. The king crab and garlic brown butter is also a win. And that pie at the end is a beautiful ending. Some misses - the grilled chicken tasted basic and a number of the replacement dishes (for non raw) is a little uninspired. Understand that I also limited them by having the food restriction but maybe expected a bit more from them as well, I've seen others cater to this and do better. Service is good as expected from a Michelin ⭐ restaurant. Every dish was well-explained and we were well attended to.

It was so incredibly difficult to get a reservation but we got lucky and scored a slot, likely because someone cancelled last minute. We had the full tasting menu and some drinks so our bill for 2 pax came up to almost $1,000. Very pricey, might be the most expensive dinner I’ve had in Singapore. My partner’s logic was that since it’s so hard to score a slot, might as well go all out. The food was incredible and the chef frequently came over to check on our table, so we felt very well taken care of throughout our meal. There were many outstanding dishes, including the uni toast, A5 striploin and white pepper chicken neck. Would visit again if I ever get lucky with the reservations but would not go with so many dishes again.

Finally managed to secure a reservation for lunch at Burnt Ends. Been wanting to try them out to see what the hype is about. Overall I have to say I am very disappointed. The tapas that we ordered for starters was mediocre. Taste wise. It was ok. The only good ones were the white asparagus and lamb chops. The white asparagus tasted nice and fresh with the accompanying sauce complimenting it nicely. The lamb chops were tender and had just the right amount of gamey taste too it. Not too empowering but just enough to remind you that you are tasting lamb. For main course. We went for the flat iron steak. The steak was cut before serving, but most of the slices were sliced too thin. It could be that the chef wanted it to be easier to chew as flat iron are known to be a bit on the chewy side. The steak was very greasy for me taste. As our table was facing the open kitchen. I noticed the chefs spraying oil onto the steaks on the grill quite regularly which might be the cause of the greasiness. Steak was a little underdone. Most of the meat were still quite rare. After having tried Burnt Ends. Would I patronise them again. Most probably not. Sadly the hype is just hype. Food wise. I think I'll stick to Bedrock or Fat Cow for my steaks.

Great experience! True to a Michelin starred location. Can’t say I love the decor. But it was simple and spacious. We were well taken care of by the lovely staff there. Love it that we were introduced to the staff by their name. The food was phenomenal with tiny bites for starters and satisfying mains in a communal setting. Very glad that the staff helped us work out a reasonable solution so that the portions work out for us. Thanks!

Enjoyed the Ah-ma-kase “tasting” lunch menu to kick off the weekend. Candlenut, located in Dempsey Hills, is the world's first Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant. Starting with appetisers, we had a series of small but punchy bites. The satay skewer; maimoa lamb neck with kicap manis glaze was my favourite of the three. The mains were served family-style, aside from the Bakwan Kepiting Soup: blue crab & chicken tofu ball soup which was served individually. The five remaining dishes varied widely in terms of preparation and protein: banana blossom, duck, barramundi, squid, and ibérico pork. My favourites from the entrees were the Ilan Chuan Chuan (barramundi), Telor Goreng with Tau Yu Bak (ibérico pork), and the Kerabu Jantung Pisang (banana blossom salad). The meal was fantastic from start to finish. It was my first time having these dishes and I was delighted with them all. The ‘ah-ma-kase’ is a great way to explore Chef Malcom’s food.

An absolutely delightful dining experience! The food, the service and the atmosphere was all incredible. We were treated to the most wonderful waiter in Arvin whose wine knowledge and food explanations were the highlight of the day. He answered all our questions and was forthcoming and generous in sharing his food knowledge. All the dishes were fantastic and very flavoursome. I can’t wait to come back again! We had the amekase menu.

Fabulous Peranakan dining experience at this 1* Michelin restaurant, Candlenut. The place is located at Como Dempsey. Quality food here with unique taste. We especially love the Crab Curry, Ngoh Hiang and the Pork Jowl. Service level here is top notch. Servers will ensure that your cups are always topped up with water; they are also very attentive and will check in with you on your overall experience and also the food quality etc. Location and atmosphere wise, it is well situated in Dempsey and the overall vibe that the place exudes is that of a relaxing one with modern Peranakan decorations. Highly recommend this place for Peranakan food, the service oriented staff here and the value for money 1* Michelin experience.

My experience, It was my first time to try Peranakan cuisine and to visit this place. Food was spectacularly delicious! Celebrate a surprised birthday dinner for my best friend. The service was great, warm, friendly and attentive staffs. We was served by Mr Felix and he done a great job! (Thank you uncle Felix for making our dinner a meaningful one 🙏) and also to Chef Malcolm! Everything was perfect! This place is highly recommended guys!

Book your reservation now! Such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely incredible. The best Michelin experience I’ve had. The restaurant is stunning. Arvin took care of us and he was so knowledgeable and really made us feel connected to the cuisine and the culture. We left and immediately recommended Candlenut to a few friends visiting Singapore in the coming weeks. I will dream about this experience until the next time I’m lucky enough to go again!

We had an amazing experience here! We really loved the place and the food was excellent! The atmosphere was simply great and it was the perfect occasion for our anniversary. They were extremely nice to make us an additional dish for that. Regarding the food was extremely tasty! With many different ingredients and preparations and an excellent presentation of all the dishes! We accompanied our meal (April Menu) with a cocktail that was a recommendation from the chef. Prices okish to a bit expensive, but worth it. This place is a MUST if you are in Singapore.

The unassuming curry and stir fried vegetables pack a punch of flavours. All the dishes are delicious. I lament the fact that the dishes are charged full price but in tapas serving size. It’s a beautiful restaurant but it can get very noisy.

It’s hidden at the corner of lot 17, but not that hard to find. The decoration is nice. Good ambience and well spaced out tables and chairs. The food menu changes every month so I don’t bother to take photo of it but what seems interesting from last month isn’t available this month, that’s a bit annoying. The food is good, but not great. Portion is quite small, the 3 of us (ladies) ordered a total of 6 dishes. To me the food is more similar to malay food rather than peranakan. The NgoHiang is really nothing special, I have had better. The service on the other hand is very very good. The waiter who served us knows all the dishes well and could recommend a similar dish to replace the one no longer on the menu. Thanks! Price is steep!

Great Peranakan food and comfortable service. We arrived a bit early, but the reception was able to allocate a table for us. Food is on the salty side, but it suited our taste. If you’re into light cuisine, perhaps don’t order the few items we had.

Had this slightly less than a year back. Food was delicious, staff were attentive to all our requests. Restaurant was nicely located at Dempsey with free parking. Knowing that we were celebrating a birthday, they gave us a small dessert (kinda) which I felt was very thoughtful of them. The staff were also patient in taking countless number of picture for us. Definitely deserving of the one Michelin star. Will definitely be back again in future!

Good food, good service. Price is on the higher end but the food is good. Set menu may be just enough, so if your appetite is large, recommend you order a couple of more dishes.

My BEST All-Around Meal of 2021. Candlenut is the place to be for authentic and simply classy cuisine. Not pretentious, every dish is straight to the point yet filled with a variety of complex flavours. Would normally recommend some dishes specifically, but Candlenut calls for a try-everything approach. Getting the multi-course set would be splendid. You won't go wrong.
Jeremy Soo — Google review
Each dish had depth to it. The dishes were simple yet packed with flavours & generous ingredients. It is definitely tastes like their own take on the Peranakan cuisine, in a good way. We enjoyed the crab curry a lot. Wouldn’t have the assam ikan again though.

Candlenut, Dempsey, Singapore - this has been on my bookmark for the longest. Finally the opportunity arose. What stands out is definitely the impeccable service. It’s interesting how despite everything we ordered being curry based, they all tasted uniquely different. The beef rendang, curry chicken, and the blue swimmer crab curry were the most outstanding with decent portion sizes. The Bakwan Kepiting Soup though hearty and delicious came in a very tiny portion. It would be nicer if it was presented in a different sort of soup bowl with lid. If there is something for improvement I would say it would be the chairs. For a meal meant to be savoured with all the unique tastes coming out of the dishes, the chairs were really uncomfortable to sit for long. Otherwise, it’s a lovely meal in a lovely setting, best savoured on a lazy afternoon day.

We had the ah-ma-kase menu and it was a sensational way to try a little bit of everything. Would definitely recommend. The Lor Kai Yik was my favorite. The staff was great as well, very attentive. We had the last reservation at 2:00 and there was no rush to finish for their mid day closure. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore Peranakan cuisine.

Having dined at this Peranakan restaurant upon a family member's recommendation, we were eager to experience its Michelin-acclaimed cuisine. Opting for the tasting menu, we were treated to an exceptional culinary journey. As someone with Southeast Asian roots, I might be a bit biased, but I must say this restaurant truly stood out. It exceeded my expectations and proved deserving of its Michelin accolade.

I believe this brings the best of Peranakan fine dinner to the guest. Dishes are true to the original flavors yet giving a refreshing new twist. Great place to bring visitors to try our local delights but elevated.

Delicious Peranakan dishes packed with flavour. We liked everything we tried, especially the Crab curry and the Sambal prawns! The courses aren’t huge, but enough to share and enjoy as a group, we loved that! From starters to dessert, every dish had its unique taste. The service was attentive and earnest, but not pretentious, which is refreshing to see in a Michelin star experience. The place is nice, tables are spaced out, gibbing each group privacy and a quiet feel, but it doesn’t have a cozy feel. All in all the experience was really positive and at a reasonable price range. Highly recommended!

The only Michelin starred restaurant I want to visit again in Singapore. Always order a la carte but for the first time, ordered the tasting course. Absolutely enjoyed all! Wonderful food, good service and affordable price. There were unknown food charges on my bill. Noticed it at home the next day. I completely trusted the service but should’ve checked more carefully when I paid. They contacted me later and the charge is returned. Very sincere. Highly recommend and will visit again.

Refined Peranakan cuisine! Food It’s packed with flavours in the delicious way! 👍 We enjoyed all the dishes we’ve ordered. Venue Had a good vibes and love the straws pendants lighting but however I can’t help but think how dusty it would be too. 😆 Service If I’m being picky, the service’s is unfortunately a little disappointing and don’t pay much attention to diners. Overall, we did had a good lunch.

It was a cool evening and we enjoyed dining outdoors - this is a busy but quiet restaurant and tables are spaced out well so there’s privacy. We tried a few items from the menu and agreed that the next time we would try the omakase menu. Portions were small but in the end everyone felt satisfied and full. Service was excellent.

Beautiful atmosphere, ordered Chef’s mum’s Chicken Curry and and the Wok tossed prawns. The service was exceptional, quick, delicious food, Uncle Felix and the staff made sure my daughter who was asleep had cushions, a blanket. They really care about their customers.

We saw this place featured in an episode of Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix. It also is Michelin starred. Friendly service and a good price for somewhere like Singapore. We paid around £130 GBP for dinner and two drinks. Great to try the Peranakan food - essentially the food of the Chinese who came to the peninsula hundreds of years ago. Liked the black nut fried rice - in its raw uncooked form the nut is poisonous due to the cyanide content- clearly here after careful preparation all good. The chicken curry also highly recommended.

Restaurant
Located on the highest floor of the Swissotel The Stamford in Singapore, JAAN By Kirk Westaway is a 40-seat European-British restaurant offering sweeping city views and seasonal ingredients. Executive Chef Kirk Westaway, hailing from South West Britain, brings his passion for natural flavors to create modern British cuisine with an innovative twist. Recently renovated, the restaurant's design evokes the picturesque coasts of Devon, where Chef Westaway grew up.
Evolved Elegance. Respect for the ingredients with a nuanced style. i adored the cuisine and total experience at Jaan and this talented chef. One feedback, arriving prior to the restaurant is disappointing, you have to walk through a mall and outside to arrive and the vendor check at the "welcome" (not). it is some "student" who is juggling delivery rider and really not very unhelpful. Truly not a 2 star experience. (I hope they try fix this). the valet (they used to have) could "shortcut" this process and the driveway has space. On to the good stuff. Great dishes, beautifully presented. Favorites for me, the white asparagus caviar, roasted Langoustine. Most things paired beautifully with a nice champagne. Love a little, enjoy the view over some exquisite bubbles and cuisine. Kirk and team will take really good care of you. once you are upstairs. I even thought an "auntie" who i ran into on my way down was very friendly and engaging. I was so impressed.

It was definitely surreal to be here in Jaan a couple months ago for a birthday celebration. View was spectacular and it definitely brought out great ambiance. Every dish that was brought out, brings high expectations for the next dish and my favorite was the chicken. I did not understand the taste of beetroot and caviar and found it overly fancy. The wine pairings were amazing and well thought out. It brings the whole experience together and definitely made each dish taste better. I must say I found the palette cleanser really refreshing and amazing. The technique for the desserts were nothing short of amazing as well. Will definitely come back for dinners in the future.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at JAAN By Kirk Westaway in Singapore, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an ambiance that exuded elegance and sophistication. First and foremost, the food at JAAN is nothing short of phenomenal. Chef Kirk Westaway's culinary expertise shines through in every dish, showcasing his passion for modern British cuisine with a touch of creativity. Each plate is a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that dance harmoniously on the palate. From the first course to the dessert, every bite was a delightful surprise that left me craving for more. One of the highlights of the meal was the "Summer Tomato and Hen’s Egg" dish, a visually stunning creation that resembled a pristine garden landscape. The combination of fresh vegetables, edible flowers, and delicate herbs was not only visually appealing but also showcased the chef's commitment to using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Every component was carefully selected and expertly prepared, resulting in a dish that was both vibrant and delicious. The service at JAAN was equally impressive. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. They were more than happy to explain each dish in detail, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was perfect. The level of professionalism and attention to detail displayed by the entire team was truly commendable. Furthermore, the atmosphere at JAAN is nothing short of enchanting. Located on the 70th floor of Swissotel The Stamford, the restaurant offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Singapore skyline. The combination of the stunning views, elegant decor, and soft lighting creates a romantic and intimate setting, perfect for a special occasion or a memorable dining experience. Overall, dining at JAAN By Kirk Westaway was an absolute delight. From the impeccable food to the exceptional service and breathtaking views, every aspect of the experience was thoughtfully curated to create a truly memorable dining experience. If you find yourself in Singapore and are looking for a culinary adventure that will leave you in awe, JAAN is an absolute must-visit.

Prepare to budget at least $SGD1,000 for the set menu for two (more if you include wine). Despite the restaurant boasting 2 Michelin stars, our high expectations weren't fully met. The flavors seemed overly complex, diminishing the originality of Great British Contemporary cuisine. For instance, the fish and chip starter lacked a distinct fish taste, and the blue lobster was enjoyable, but the pasta had an unexpected tom yum flavor. The guinea fowl resembled roast pork more than a game bird. Dessert lacked excitement, being uniformly sweet. On the positive side, the service was impeccable, and the staff displayed utmost professionalism. The atmosphere was fantastic, complemented by a stunning view. Would I return? Probably not.

Excellent food and experience, truly deserving of the two Michelin stars. Appetisers were a nice demonstration of the nuances of flavours. White asparagus and caviar blended nicely. Cornish seabass had a lovely rich feel, and the Welsh lamb was a fantastic mix of flavours that came together so well. The dessert was lovely, enjoyed the conference pear. Service was warm and friendly, with good views of the skyline. Only grouse was the music was a little too loud.

Visited the newly renovated Jaan a few months back and was mightily impressed with not only the new and improved space, but also the way the food has been elevated. When my partner and I first visited Jaan we were blown away by the extraordinary take on British cuisine. However, after revisiting the restaurant following its refurbishment, we were awestruck at how Chef Kirk and his team managed to elevate the already stunning dishes even more. While the menu did not change much from our last visit (excepting changes in the dessert options, palette cleanser, as well as the addition of the sweet onion pie), the old dishes were elevated to greater heights. Scallop was substituted for obsiblue prawns on the sea bass course, which made for a smoother bite with the fish itself. A more generous portion was provided for the Guinea fowl, this time stuffed with sausage as well as the Guinea leg. Where previously the game meat was presented with a slightly underwhelming herb-crusted potato, Chef Kirk opted to pair it with an elegant truffle and artichoke pie this go around. The sweetness of the artichoke helped balance out the slight saltiness of the guinea meat. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch date perfected by the excellent and graceful service provided by our server, Terry. We are looking forward to returning again and would highly recommend Jaan.

French two star michelin restuarant. Executive chef is from England and the ingredients are mostly imported. Had lunch and we ordered the 5 course menu. The food was great. We enjoyed the food served. However for the main course, my spouse did not enjoy the lamb gamey taste. This is a personal preference. For those who dislike it, the chef mentioned diners can request to change the main dish. It was great experience. The service was pretty good and we enjoyed our 3 hours + dining in Jaan. Will we visit them again? Perhaps.....

Had a delightful lunch here, which tasted divine even though I had had a full breakfast in the morning. One of my fave dishes was the sea bass which came in a savoury and flavourful sauce that I couldn’t get enough of. The desserts - lemon and chocolate - were also a big thumbs-up.

Initially having nestled in the heart of the restaurant, I found myself placed away from the scenic views outside. Despite this, the central location provided convenient accessibility to the impeccable service led by Giuseppe and his team. Their engaging demeanor and active participation in our conversation transformed the dining experience into a memorable and enjoyable affair, compensating for the absence of an external view. The attentiveness and warmth of the team truly made the overall atmosphere delightful, turning what could have been a minor setback into a positive aspect of the day.

We had a very nice dinner at Jaan. We thought the chef hit all the right notes and delivered an inventive menu based on classic flavors. The wine pairing was very good and sported some very unique wines which we enjoyed alot. For us this is the best experience in a Asia top 50 restaurant in Singapore so far, even though it is ranked lower than others. What stood out to us is that every course was excellent, high quality ingredients and flawless execution. Other restaurants add or switch ingredients for the sake of sounding original but with a net negative impact on the dish and we were very pleased that there has been none of that in Jaan. At the same time we were impressed by the black truffle ice cream which demonstrated how to innovate flavor combinations where it makes sense and produces a high quality result.

This might be just another mundane review of my fine dining experience but wait there’s a reason why Jaan still retains its 2 Michelin stars and long waiting list to get table. Food presentation for fine dining is easy to emulate everywhere however taste is the ultimate driving force and Chef Kirk is winning in this expertise. I find that English chef is adventurous in creating their dishes and there is something that always surprises you on every meals. Tbh didn’t discover much English chef in Singapore so far only 3 and they all are amazing. Chef Kirk was one of them.

Loved my experience at Jaan. Amazing and kind service together with wonderful food. They can and will explain anything about your dish to the ingredients used. Sommelier was very kind in suggesting other options of wine if we didn’t like the original pairing. all together: 10/10 Only side note : we didn’t find the entrance so quickly but everyone in the hotel/mall was happy to guide us the correct way.

My first 2 Michelin stars dining experience in Singapore Food: 3 stars 1) food lack varied texture 2) All your dessert has 1 flavour, sweet. Can do better with different flavours… 3) brioche is dry Service: 4 stars - was awesome thorough-out the sitting except during the start, I was asked, “What would you like to order?” 😂 I was slightly taken aback when our server said that. Atmosphere: 4 stars - the aerial view is unbeatable. Just that it’s a city view. Hopefully odette lives up to its stars better

Jaan by Kirk Westaway is a culinary gem soaring high above the city on the 70th floor of Swissotel the Stamford. The meal was nothing short of spectacular, embodying the essence of a multiple Michelin Star restaurant. The sweeping views complemented the impeccable service provided by a knowledgeable and welcoming staff. The quality of ingredients was evident in each creatively plated dish of the set daily menu. The dinner unfolded like an art show, with bite-sized servings meticulously explained, turning each course into a carefully crafted masterpiece. Although undeniably expensive, the experience was elevated by a thoughtful touch from the chef—a dessert tree and an extra treat to celebrate our honeymoon. Our waiter, Kim, was a standout, offering not just excellent service but also friendly conversation and local suggestions. Securing a last-minute reservation added an unexpected thrill to the intimate environment. With eye-popping decor and a limited seating arrangement, the restaurant provided a perfect backdrop for a memorable honeymoon experience. The chef's personal touch, sharing stories of culinary adventures in the United States, added an extra layer of charm. In the end, the small bites from the multiple-item tasting menu left us pleasantly stuffed, thoroughly impressed, and fully satisfied with both the food and the overall experience. Jaan by Kirk Westaway is undeniably a 5-star journey for anyone seeking an exceptional culinary adventure in Singapore.

Modern French restaurant
Odette is a renowned French fine-dining restaurant located in the National Gallery Singapore. It was established by chef Julien Royer, known for his previous work at JAAN. The restaurant is named after Chef Julien's grandmother and reflects his philosophy of using the finest ingredients and seasonal produce to create exquisitely-plated dishes. Odette has received numerous accolades, including being ranked no.
I’ve always been a firm believer that the devil is in the details and I honestly can’t name one (even small) thing wrong about Odette. Where we sat was right in front of their transparent kitchen which gives you a wonderful unencumbered view of the gorgeous dining room and bar (hints of Art Deco design and very soothing). The dishes were all on point, with enough creativity, and without being overboard. Each course followed a cohesive rhythm especially together with the wine pairing. This isn’t an overly heavy meal despite some wholesome / rich ingredients. Service? I cannot say anything other the staff here are among the best anywhere. We would like to give a special thanks to Sarah who was our star for the night! Thank you for your extra consideration. Great job Odette for a truly great gourmet experience on a very special day - Tuesday, 2/22/2022.

This is the best restaurant experience I've had. Completely worth every penny. We left full and satisfied. My fav dish was the egg in the mushroom shaped cup. It was just egg. But wow, was it amazing. My fiance loved the beet root dish. For such a simple ingredient, we were treated to a world of beet and its uses. Amaze balls! We enjoyed everything. So much so that, even though we were getting full, we opted in for the cheese spread and was not disappointed. The staff were great, funny, and didn't judge us when we asked to keep the bread and leftover sauce. I would definitely come back and spend another grand or so. I sometimes think of Odette and it lifts my spirit.

My first 3 Michelin star dining experience on my recent trip to Singapore. All I can say is wow on the food and service. It was wondering culinary experience and witness to some many different refined cooking and plating/presentation techniques. This is what fine dining is all about. The house made jam at the end was a nice surprise and I will savoury it with my morning toast while reminiscing my time at Odette. They start accepting reservations 60 days in advance but if dinner slots are full, I recommend booking for lunch. You can still experience the 7-course dinner menu or a lighter 5-course menu. Hope everyone enjoys Odette as much as I did. Odette If you find it hard to no

Superb service and food. The servers were all so knowledgeable about each dish, and also they really try their best to cater to dietary restrictions (we have someone pregnant and someone who can’t take lactose) by replacing the dishes with something else. Presentation of food is on point. It’s seriously a super filling meal and great experience. We had the $378++ indulgence menu, and added the $128++ lobster ravioli.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary over lunch at Odette on Saturday, 22 April 2023. We opted for the Epicure menu (7 courses) [$488 per pax], and shared a wine pairing [$295 for each pairing]. From what we understood from the staff, each table is only allowed to select one of the two menu type. [Full lunch and dinner menus for April 2023 can be found in the photos] The dishes were innovative and delicious, crafted with the freshest and finest ingredients. We were pleasantly surprised at how basic and familiar ingredients (like the egg) could be transformed and elevated to such a level (like the signature Rosemary Smoked Organic Egg). We had the pleasure of being served by a team of dedicated service crew who took time to share with us the concept behind each dish. Special mention to: 1) Sarah who remained attentive to our requests and made sure we were comfortable, and had everything we needed, throughout the 4-hour meal. 2) Pastry chef Louisa (recently awarded Asia's Best Pastry Chef 2023) who served us our final dessert dish, and took time to share about her culinary journey. If you are looking for a world-class dining experience in Singapore or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Odette is definitely worth a visit!

A meal of dreams - this would go down as one of my favourite dining experiences so far. Food was phenomenal, service was immaculate, we had the best chat with their sommelier here and generally, Odette just seems to exude a vibe where everyone really loves what they do and strive to be at the top of their game. We were here for lunch few weeks back and had their Epicure menu with wine pairing. The standout dishes for me were at the beginning and the ending, with everything in between great but slightly lacking that mind blowing factor as compared to my favourites. They serve this mushroom tea at the beginning (not on the menu) which promised a great start to the meal. Onion tart left me wanting more. Out of all the items on the menu, I thought their Jeju Abalone & Foie Gras Duo and the Pepper Crusted pigeon were ingenious. For all the fanfare, the rosemary organic egg unfortunately fell short of the mark. Odette’s desserts left a deep impression and I wouldn’t expect otherwise from the very talented pastry chef, Louisa Lim, who lights up the room with her passion for her craft. We immensely enjoyed her dessert creations, notably her Hokkaido Milk ice cream dessert which looks and taste as light as powder snow (aptly named Blanc too). After 4 hours of dining there, I thought that all too familiar post-lunch dip was upon me but the light and refreshing dessert lifted me back up from a potential food coma. All in all, this was a great experience. We marvelled at the beauty, the taste of each dish and we were so delighted with the sommelier’s stories and patience for entertaining our amateur questions haha. Good stuff, thanks for an exceptional meal Odette.

What a lovely and delicious evening out in Singapore. Service was what you would expect from a 3* establishments. All the dishes, from the butter to the pigeon, were out of this world. The staff was well orchestrated and did a great job of providing information on each dish and engaging us in conversation throughout the evening. Having been fortunate enough to dine at other 2 & 3* restaurants around the globe I would put this in my top 3 in a very close race with Mudec in Milan for number 1 and edging out French Laundry in terms of the menu. I will definitely try to secure another reservation next time I'm in Singapore.

It was an amazing fine dining experience. From the moment we walked in to when we were leaving and were given a special gift, we were treated like VIPs...a must do at least once. I don't know whether I'll ever eat pigeon again, though it was OK for my first time

At a price point of $650 per pax (Epicure; dinner) including 1 glass of champagne, I would expect to be absolutely blown away. Service, food, ambience whilst great was not a $650/pax kinda great. Probably exceeds expectations at $400/pax. Food: Expected 7 courses but there was a number of starters and desserts which was a pleasant surprise! Was full by the first course. Enjoyed all the dishes other than the pigeon which was too gamey for my liking and couldn’t finish half of it. Wasn’t particularly wowed by any of the dishes (unlike at Gaggan’s where I was really impressed by how innovative the dishes were) but was delighted by the gift at the end cos it was an unexpected touch Service: was fun, welcoming, relaxing but not as polished as I’d expect a 3 Michelin service to be. Ambience: felt like the location in National gallery removed the lush factor. Had to get through throngs of people / messy spaces to get to the restaurant. Restrooms were also not nearby. Would recommend only if one has cash to spare and wants to give this famous brand a try.

Great place and team, I got presented with a labeled jam as a gift at the end of the night. The total bill ended up being S$1254 for two people (Epicure Menu), which is a lot by all means, but given the 3-star rating and the fame of the restaurant, it is worth visiting if you have the chance!

Deserves a three-stars... on Google The welcome snacks were decent, but nothing outstanding. The donut seemed average and greasy, while the impromptu shrimp taco was good, and the onion tart was delightful. The following appetizer, mushroom tea - a mushroom soup infused with truffle, offered a rich and dense mushroom broth with the essence of truffle - was delicious, akin to immersing oneself in a forest basket full of mushrooms. The first course composed of sea urchin caviar and black caviar with mousse and shrimp. Since I initially warned that I did not like sea urchin caviar, they replaced the dish from black caviar to crab accompanied by apple and avocado. The crab taste was overshadowed by the apples, making it an inadequate substitute for black caviar in both price and flavor. I told the waiter about this, he offered to bring me this dish with caviar, but then he conveniently forgot about me. Their renowned signature egg dish, featuring yolk, potato mousse, and chorizo, presented a good blend of raw yolk with salty chorizo and soft potatoes. However, the inadequate amount of chorizo left one with only a regular yolk in the end, which was rather disappointing. For an additional $100, my husband upgraded the dish to langoustines with truffle generously sprinkled, creating a delicious and harmonious blend of flavors. It seems that to enjoy something truly tasty at this restaurant, one must be prepared to pay extra. The fish crudo course with dill received no complaints, while the scallop with chicory was flavorful but somewhat simplistic, not quite fitting for a three-star establishment. Now, onto the most disappointing aspect - the main signature dish. The medium-rare roasted pigeon had a peculiar taste reminiscent of offal, with a slightly strange smell. This type of meat may not appeal to everyone, making its presence on the menu somewhat odd. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the dish to the waiter. We were offered chicken as a replacement, which turned out to be simple chicken sous vide lacking any distinctive flavor or complexity. At $490 on the menu, this dish felt uninspired. The waiter suggested an alternative - foie gras with abalone broth, which proved more intriguing than the previous dishes but failed to deliver a phenomenal taste. Visiting a restaurant with a three-star rating, we expected surprises, unique culinary experiences, and intriguing flavor combinations to expand our palate. However, all the dishes at this establishment seemed basic, using common ingredients readily found in any restaurant. Singapore boasts a high standard of dining establishments, making it perplexing how this restaurant attained three stars; having visited over 15 Michelin-starred venues worldwide, we would rate this at most one star due to the lack of innovative solutions, interesting flavor pairings, or premium ingredients. Though some dishes showcased creative techniques, it was insufficient. Desserts were unremarkable, merely sweet cakes lacking balance or contrasting flavors to offset the sweetness. Service The service was inattentive, with dirty dishes left unattended on the table until a new dish was served. To sum up: Drawing from my extensive experience dining at Michelin-starred establishments, I can conclude that: - Service falls short of high standards - They don’t have their own toilet, only a shared one in the gallery, it takes 3 minutes to walk, where the cabins were found to be unclean. - The cuisine is simplistic, lacking fascinating flavor combinations, textures, or premium ingredients. Despite the $490 set menu price, the offering fails to reflect the expected quality. If you have visited most Michelin-starred restaurants in Singapore, a visit could be considered; however, if not, we do not recommend it. There are other establishments more deserving of your attention.

Odette at the National Gallery Singapore is a culinary masterpiece that transcends traditional dining experiences. Nestled within the stunning museum, the restaurant itself is a work of art, boasting elegant interiors that mirror the grace of its namesake, Odette, the principal character in Swan Lake. The menu, curated by Chef Julien Royer, is a symphony of flavors and textures. Each dish is a meticulously crafted expression of creativity and precision. The attention to detail is apparent from the moment the first course arrives, with ingredients sourced globally to ensure the highest quality. The tasting menu unfolds like a narrative, with each course seamlessly transitioning to the next. Standout dishes include the Hokkaido Uni with Brittany langoustine, a delicate dance of oceanic richness, and the Rosemary Smoked Organic Egg, an indulgent creation that marries earthy aromas with velvety textures. Service at Odette is impeccable, with a knowledgeable and attentive staff guiding guests through the culinary journey. The wine pairings are equally impressive, enhancing the overall dining experience. While the price reflects the restaurant's commitment to excellence, Odette at the National Gallery Singapore is a destination for connoisseurs seeking a transcendent gastronomic adventure, where artistry on the plate meets the ambiance of a world-class museum.

Tried the 7 course meal for a celebratory lunch. The food was great - loved the Maryuko Uni, smoked organic egg and the desserts. ‘Blanc’ the dessert was phenomenal. However, service was quite average. The waiters rushed through explanations of their dishes. And while they tried to entertain our questions about the dishes, the way that they did it was quite cursory and generally seemed quite reluctant to hold a conversation.

Amazing dining experience at 3 Michelin Star Odette Restaurant in Singapore. This was absolute perfection in fine dining, from immaculate prepared dishes to delicate service this was one of the best dining experiences of our lifetime. After having dined at over 100 Michelin-Starred venues, mostly in Europe and Asia, Odette is easily ranked as our Top 5 favorite. Kudos to Chef Julien Royer and his marvelous staff. They are simply unique in having created a heavenly dining experience. Thank you so much for making our dinner a very special one. We look forward to our return.
