North Bay

North Bay is a city in Northeastern Ontario, Canada. It is the seat of Nipissing District, and takes its name from its position on the shore of Lake Nipissing. North Bay developed as a railroad centre, and its airport was an important military location during the Cold War. Wikipedia.

The ski instructor was amazing with the child I was there with to support. The instructor allowed me to stay close by when they (child) needed to feel extra safe. They were incredibly patient with them, and took the time to allow them to feel comfortable again with skiing. I was very impressed!

Stopped in here while I was visiting north bay and had such a great time! The entire staff was very kind and answered all my questions. The prices aren’t that bad either and the scenery was incredible. I Would definitely recommend visiting if you haven’t already.

I’m really impressed with Cody over in rentals. He was tuning my skis and pointed out some unsafe settings. Fixed my family right up. He was very knowledgeable. What a great operation. Just wish the season was longer. :)

Excellent well groomed hiking trails. Trails are not difficult and are pet/kid friendly. Wagons and strollers are possible for most of trail system. Great way to spend a few hours. Parking is at the top of the hill. Trail markers and maps are at the start of the trails/ behind the conservation building.

Love this place. Have skied all over Ontario and Quebec and this is a lovely and friendly place to ski. Twice we forgot poles and they just gave them to us for free. Lovely set up and nice runs.
Michelle Legault — Google review
You go to spend time with friends well half the time. half the hill is shut down because of the ski racers (they think they own it) and they also clog the lift line there also cocky kids. So I think 3 star review is more the fair

Great place to ski. Beautiful facility. However, I just found out that Hill opens at 10.45 am today. Website says 9. Apparently, they posted the change on Instagram. Not everyone has this app. Call before you go.

Either in winter or summer Lake Nipissing is always wonderful. You'll be amazed by its beauty and thrilled when you walk on it during winter.
B M Adnan — Google review
Don't go there only for the view, it is not that perfect, but the walking trails around are nice and not crowded at all
Sascha Horstmann — Google review
Really nice trail network for hiking. Some easy climbs that lead up to a lookout with a great view of Lake Nipissing. The trails are very well kept, and signage sprinkled throughout to help keep you on course. That being said, it was easy for us to get turned around even with our GPS tracker, because at one point a few of the trails connected together but there was no signage. If you're a geocacher there's a few in the area to be found. Great place to bring dogs as well.
Aydyn Neifer — Google review
Great hiking trails. You can spend hours back in there and never be far from your vehicle. If the falls are too crowded, park up at the college and use the trains behind it to get to the falls and experience a beautiful hike.
Darien Taylor — Google review
Exploring Duchesnay Falls is always a highlight of any venture up north - but the lookout over Lake Nippising is simply breathtaking. The pictures don't do it justice at all. The thrill of climbing that trail, then ascending the stairs, and seeing the landscape fall away before you - hectares of forest cresting down to the lake itself. There's truly nothing like it.
Topaz Goold — Google review
Relatively easy hike to do and a fantastic view. The lookout blows Laurier trails out of the water but it's a more difficult trail to travel.

The family really enjoyed the tour, very informative and displays are well organised. Special thanks to our guide Bethany who answered all the questions and very knowledgeable.

I have to say this place is a wondeful gem. There is a huge amount of knowledge packed into the exhibits here. Each one tells a story of how Canada defended its airspace and how the past shaped the way we defend our skies today and how North Bay is a big part of that history. The quality of exhibits here and especially the knowledge of the staff is exceptional!
Skips SMN — Google review
Very cool little museum containing some interesting tidbits about Canadian History across different era’s! Bethany was informative and knowledgeable and she answered the questions I had with the greatest of ease. I can tell she was passionate about what she does. I would recommend it if museums or galleries typically interest you!

Had a great time at this museum today! The lady at the front was very friendly and helpful. I thought it was neat that as you make your way through the museum you also are progressing through the history of our Air Force. Overall great experience! (P.S. take Airport Road ALL the way to the stop sign at Duxford Road and follow the Museum Signs. Google Maps wanted me to go down a restricted road before the stop sign😬)

Mostly things from the First and Second World War. Its a Canadian Airforce Base, Total canadian radar used tobe controlled from here during the war. The main base is 600 feet under the earth. Kids enjoyed a lot riding on the fighter plane, wearing parachute and airforce uniform. Best of all no entrance fees

This was a really cool museum! It was nostalgic for me because my dad worked in the underground facility during my childhood. But even without the connection, I would have loved the museum. The perfect combination of hands-on and informative exhibits. A must-see if you are in North Bay.

Great museum with knowledgeable and friendly staff! Came on a snow day which was perfect and gave us lots of time with the CT-133 cockpit. It was nice to have interactive exhibits while going through the different eras of aerospace defence.

I've been taking my kids to the Train and Carousel for 20 years now! I have 3 boys all 10 years apart so we've been going for a long time! The volunteers are always very friendly and the rides are kept up nicely. There is a short wait for the train sometimes, but well worth it as the kids love it. Location is great too, so beautiful down at the Waterfront. ☺️
Sara Parks — Google review
This place was so admirable as it had boats and cruise. We can see people fishing and kids playing around the small park. Had a small train for kids which takes adults as well, it was so much fun when we took a round along with kids. We had lunch at the cruise hotel and no complaints it was good 👍 Last but not the least the old aged employees were so sweet. They always had a smile on their face and inspired us so much. Best example for a great customer service. They are the best and gave us so much energy when we spoke to them. 10 stars for them and my salute 🫡

Absolutely loved coming here with my toddler. An inexpensive tourist/ local attraction. Staff are experienced in serving the public. Tickets are $2 each, 3 for $5 or 7 for $10. They also offer group rates. If you save your tickets. It offers $2 off the North Bay Train Museum. There are two different carousels rides and a small Train that goes around a large track for about 5-10minutes. Lots of parking available either at the carousels or across at the waterfront or on Oak Street at the train station Museum which there is a tunnel you can walk through that gives you access to waterfront carousels.

Not to be missed !!!!! Can’t afford to miss it!! I am 25 year old and I still went on the carousel and the railway and had a great time. I went during sunset and it was so beautiful on the train, The carousel gives you the old school vibe and will make you nostalgic. The price is so cheap, I was expecting a much higher ticket price, coming from Toronto.

Cute place to spend 10-15 minutes. Nice and friendly volunteers. Free parking and just on the other side of the road from the water and beach. Train ride was fun for the kids as were the carrousels. 7 rides for 10 dollars or one ride for 2 dollars.

Pizza restaurant
Greco's Pizza is an Italian eatery known for its cozy ambiance with brick walls. Visitors rave about the BBQ Chicken pizza, featuring grilled chicken, red onion, sweet BBQ sauce, and a corn meal crust that sets it apart. The thin-crust pizzas like pesto and meat lover are also popular for their balanced cheese and sauce. Customers praise the deluxe pizza with green olives for its crunchy crust and well-distributed toppings.
This was a deluxe pizza with green olives and thin crust and was the best. It was so delicious, the crust was crunchy, the toppings distributed perfectly and I enjoyed it a great deal. If you want a great pizza, Greco's on Algonquin is the place to go, and it has to be the Greco's on Algonquin Ave!!!
Jenn R — Google review
Quite disappointed by the drop in quality. Pizzas were unevenly cooked so vegetables toppings were essentially raw. The BBQ sauce was sickly sweet and did not pair well with the chicken pizza. Pasta dishes were generally bland. One pizza was dropped by the staff and was not replaced for 20 minutes, at which point everyone else had finished eating, and there was no reduction of price for the inconvenience, just making jokes at our expense "hope you aren't hungry." Overall not impressed by what used to be considered the best in town by the whole family.
Z Chao — Google review
We are down for a hockey tournament and heard of this place so we gave it a shot. We had the pesto and meatlover and they are great. Nice thin crust, nice undercarriage. Not over greasy and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Delivery took over 1.5 hours but with this big tournament in town it's worth the wait.
jos sim — Google review
We came from Toronto for a visit and decided to step in. Such an incredible experience of tasting different kids of pizzas & desserts. Very well done! Friendly service. Our wait time was decent (about 10 min during rush hour). We would definitely recommend this place to our friends. Keep on doing a great job!

Greco's never disappoints. A staple stop in North Bay for tradition and great memories for all who have ever gone for pizza and Friday bread
Beth Boyer — Google review
Don’t get me wrong I love their food but the delivery staff is unbelievable, I’m a worker at the North Bay regional health Centre and we get a lot of food deliveries, staff received a order yesterday and the driver came to my doors and it was cold so I told him he could stand inside the doors but told him he would have to wear a mask, his reply was rude “well then I will go wait outside “ it’s not what he said it was how he said it to me like it was my problem that we have policies at the hospital that everyone even the public has to follow. He stormed out of the building and started to walk back to his car when the staff that ordered the food ran after him to get their food. I would like to say the delivery staff needs to have more respect for the workers at the doors as we are just following policies.
Ashely Ranger — Google review
The pizza was absolutely terrible…a tasteless pile of mush. It was so wet that half of the box was soaked through! This was inedible, raw, and—wet?! Where did these great reviews come from? This is one visitor to North Bay that won’t be tricked again on future visits..
Ruth Chiang — Google review
Easily some of the best pizza in Northern Ontario. I drive in from Sudbury when I have the cravings and have even picked up half baked pizzas by plane a few times when I was working for clients (friends) out of town. Well worth the drive/flight every time.
Neil Stephen — Google review
Awesome pizza and pasta! Caesar was saucy and tasty. Deluxe pizza is fantastic. It's been there for a while, so they usually know how to do things well. Staff were young but great. And the place just looks like a regular, easy Italian restaurant.
Josiah Nahwegahbow — Google review
Amazing restaurant - delicious food, outstanding service, nice background music. We ordered a steak soup, garlic shrimp which came with garlic bread and a medium BBQ chicken pizza - we couldn't finish it all and had to take half of the pizza out.
I. Sirkovich — Google review
We ordered a pizza with green olives and we end up with black olives. Our pizza is soggy, very disappointed for an over $60.00 order. I'm keeping the awful words I want to say to myself! The taste of the food is really good so that is a positive.
Stephane Turmel — Google review
This used to be a 5 star review. I would give nothing if I could now. Been a regular for a long time. Weekly dinners. Stopped going a while back because quality went down hill with the same issues every single time. Thought I'd give them a shot recently and was disgusted. Grecos are happy to give credits for mess ups but unwilling to correct the issue. Not cooking a meal each and every time someone orders, forcing them to cook it themselves at home, is ridiculous and defeats the purpose of ordering out. It's literal children running the place and I'll 100% never go back. Eat your credits because I don't want them. Never ever ever ever ever going to return. PS: look at all the 1 star reviews, they ALL say the same thing. UNCOOKED food.
H B — Google review
We love eating at Greco's when we're in North Bay, and they didn't disappoint this time either. We ordered bacon wrapped scallops with cheese as an appetizer for the first time, and it was delicious! The staff are attentive and friendly. The only thing we would change if we could is the noise level, but hey, it's a popular place! >^..^<
Barbara Sanderson — Google review
I'm from a Northern Ontario town that supposed to be renowned for its pizza but I'll be the first to say Greco's trumps Sault pizza in every way. The BBQ Chicken pizza is one of the best pies I've even eaten, and I make to sure have it everytime I'm in town. Great grilled chicken, red onion, sweet BBQ sauce, and the corn meal crust just completely sets it off. Order on and experience pure joy and happiness. 🍕 🍕 🍕 🍕

This is such a cute, local place to eat in! I had ordered the lasagna and it was great! I would've loved more ricotta in between the layers, but hey, it was still delicious! The server was nice, and she had great recommendations and was able to help us out with any/all our inquiries with the food and restaurant. Highly recommend to check this place out when you're in town!

Pizza was alright, but the cornmeal thing just isn't for me. Makes the crust dry and grainy. The box was covered in it. Not appetizing.

Steak house
Station Tap House & Steak Co is a convivial gathering place with a cozy setup, offering sports on TV, brews on tap, and hearty burgers and steaks. The restaurant provides a nice spot for dining in or enjoying the patio. With a variety of beers on tap, it offers good service from the moment you're greeted to when your order is taken. The Brie Turkey Burger is recommended with the addition of cranberry relish for extra flavor.
After a recommendation from one of my clients I decided to try out this place yesterday. I ordered the BBQ Duck tacos which were great and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I decided on the 14 oz ribeye Medium rare. The steak came out pretty burnt. The char taste was overwhelming and it was a bit over cooked. The Front of the house manager Cole, came over and addressed my concern. He had a new steak made for me. Unfortunately that one, while not burnt was well done. He was visually upset and comped my whole meal. He asked if I could come back tomorrow to give them another shot and give an honest review. The head chef was off and would be in the next day. He gave me a card with his info and asked me to call him and he would come in on his day off to sit with me for dinner. I took him up on his offer. This time I ordered the sirloin crustini for appetizer and the salmon for entree. Ordered the butter tart for dessert. The food was great. Good portions and great service. My server who is the bartender was Erin and was fantastic. The fact that this manager cared enough to come in on his day off to ensure I had a better experience speaks wonders not only of his character but also of the restaurant itself. What a way to turn a negative into a positive. Great work by Cole and Erin. The owner should be proud to have such fantastic workers.
Robert Redmond — Google review
Cauliflower bites and poutine were fantastic! However, we will come again based primarily on the service and atmosphere. Love how they don't have screens in every corner. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We came during a quiet time, but our meals came very quickly. Looking forward to trying a few more items on the menu.
Kirby Freeman — Google review
The food looks great! But it only looks great. The place is very busy, so reservations at least three days in advance is recommended. Service is excellent, and the people who work there are polite to each other. Most of the beer in the menu were out, which is odd, considering how it's a Tap House but the taps were dry. We sat indoors, accompanied by buzzing flies, gazing at cobwebs in the windows and wondering if the flies were too big for the spiders to consume. That thought occupied me the bulk of the time. That's how delicious the food was. To be fair, we only had the steak, so other items might taste fantastic. We will never know, because we won't be returning.
Ed Amame — Google review
Had dinner here with a friend and it was delicious. Started by sampling a few beer to pick a favorite to order. Thanks for doing that. Next we had a cauliflower starter which was nice touch. Crispy and flavorful. We had the station burger that was served hot, fresh and juicy. Really good value for the money. The place was full but we didnt wait long. Will be back when in town again.

Great food, great atmosphere as always. I had the seared tuna salad and the cashew crusted salmon. Salad was great to share as a starter, a little kick from wasabi dressing. Salmon entree was a good serving size and I had leftovers. I didn’t leave feeling hungry! Always happy with the food here.
Amy Chadwick — Google review
Really enjoyed our experience here! Great food and well worth the price, excellent service and fantastic options for gluten free/celiac! They seemed very knowledgeable about gluten free choices with plenty of options (including appetizers and desserts) available. We will definitely be back.

This is the place to have lunch in North Bay. Very busy but the staff are highly professional and trained to ensure your experience is excellent. The decor is urban and stylish. The menu is extensive with numerous vegetarian and gluten free options. The food is made with exclusively fresh produce and the portion sizes are highly substantive. The price is disproportionately low. Great ambiance, great service, great food… not sure why you would go elsewhere.
Tara Alexander — Google review
nice spot for either dine in restaurant, option of a patio also. Service was good from the beginning when we were greeted and seated, our orders were taken rarely quickly. They have a variety of beer on tap and I tried their clear which was fantastic. Food was worth the price, Brie Turkey Burger was tasty, I did feel like I was missing something like a sauce or some tangy taste to it. The cranberry relish is a good add on as the butter sweet flavour. Would recommend trying this spot!

Excellent meal! The service was great and super accommodating. We were slightly disappointed with our appetizer, but the main meal definitely made up for it! Worth a visit.

Stopped at Webers Hamburger place while driving to North Bay for lunch. We were quite excited about their food. There was long lines for the food. They are quite organized, they took orders while waiting in lines and also took payment. Once you reach inside, your food would be ready. Now coming back to actual food, we found these hamburgers quite ordinary. We liked the atmosphere but hamburgers were just ordinary..
Prabhjot Gill — Google review
The food was extremely disappointing. The burger was overcooked, the cheese curds were bland, and the soup was too starchy. Additionally, the service was terrible as the server rushed to take the plates away even though we hadn't finished our food yet.

Long wait but worth it. The food was great especially the Kimchi dumplings. They are a must have! The waitresses are very friendly and make the atmosphere here perfect! Manager is very accommodating and tries to make his rounds to make sure that every table is satisfied with the food and service. Would have received a 5 star if we were actually seated when we went in or actually put in our reservation since we were told to come back in an hour or two. We actually came back in two hours and we were not on the reservation list even though our name and number were taken. Manager cleared it up and had us seated. Hoping next time is a better experience and 5 star.

Fantastic steak dinners! My son's steak ended up being a tad bit over done. But that's easily remedied and it was still delicious. And not anything to stop you from coming here. An owner stopped at the table in addition to the perfect attention of our server. Perfect dinner I will certainly be coming back all the way from Sudbury.

Located on the shores of Lake Nippising in North Bay, White Owl Bistro is a well-established restaurant that has become a favorite foodie destination in the region. The menu offers incredible dishes made with local ingredients, and the atmosphere is described as brilliant. The staff is attentive and accommodating to dietary restrictions. Despite some minor issues such as delays in serving mains and uncleared tables between courses, patrons have praised the delicious and affordable food, beautiful patio view, and welcoming atmosphere.
The food here is incredible, the menu is thoughtfully planned and not overwhelming. We've been three times and plan to make this a regular spot for brunch and dinners out. The local ingredients really make the difference, and Corrine and Rita provided excellent service to us.

This well established restaurant, on the shores of lake Nippising in North Bay, is one of our favourite foodie destinations in the region. We sat on the patio and were surrounded by the great environment and attentive service. The food was good, including the fresh, homemade bread. Our 4 star rating was due to the table not being cleared between courses and the time to have our mains delivered to the table was quite lengthy. Otherwise this iconic, shoreline establishment is a must visit when touring the North Bay area!

**Updated** started to get sick about 2-3 hours after eating here. Was sick the rest of the day and night and some of this morning. The only thing I ate that day was this meal. I would not come here again. Ordered the roast beef croissant sandwich and the crepes for dessert. The sandwich wasn't bad, nothing really special honestly. Fries could be cooked a bit longer for sure. Dessert was great. Server was very nice and quick.

My hubby and I decided we wanted to go out and try something new in North Bay. We come to town about twice a year and always wanted to try the White Owl Bistro based on the reviews. We ordered the special "surf and turf" pasta that included an entrée and desert as well as the mussels and filet mignon. It was very tasty! Did a takeout yesterday. Prime rib. Nothing to write home about (looses one star). I’d say 6 out of 10 in quality. Something about that meat, too tough for prime rib. Actually noting in that dish was worth writing home about. Expensive as hell, as if it’s CN Tower revolving restaurant. By the way, CN Tower restaurant prime rib rules, 10 out of 10. The restaurant seems to have a very nice atmosphere. I wish it were better. Maybe other dishes are better. I don’t know, probably won’t know.

Visited with a large group in honour of my late uncle. I had the escargot, the prime rib and a berry chocolate crunchy desert with a fancy name I can’t remember. The food was wonderful. There were 12 at my table, and everyone was very pleased with the food. My uncle would have loved it!

Our group enjoyed a superb late-dinner meal here tonight. I had one of the best burgers of my life. The vegan in our party enjoyed a delicious noodle dis.and others ordered chicken and a salad. Everyone remarked on how great their food was. We ate outside under a tent with picturesque lighting. Our server was amazing; she was knowledgeable, responsive, and personable. Prices are slightly higher for our market, but this is an example of getting what you pay for: twice as expensive as fast food with about five times the fllavour which is well worth it. Bread and spread was served while we waited. I highly recommend eating here for a wonderful dining experience.

Great food. Service was a little slow but it was a busy day for them being Canada. At least it contributed to the leisurely pace and we did not feel rushed. Loved the prime rib and creme brule! Nice pub like feel.

Arrived in North Bay, on my way to Ottawa from Calgary, but wanted to eat at a good steak restaurant. After seeing the reviews from Churchill’s, I stopped in. My spouse and I ordered a couple of appetizers to split before our steak dinners. I LOVED the dim ambiance of the restaurant, as it added another level of class to the already clean and classy atmosphere! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable! BEST Cesar Salad ever! The dressing was so delicious, I could have eaten an entire meal of just the salad! My New York strip was perfectly seasoned and cooked! Even the crème brûlée was spectacular!

My favourite restaurant in North Bay! The food is always consistently top notch and cooked perfectly. Every time I have friends in from out of town, I bring them here for Tapas and they always love it! I celebrate all my special occasions here. The staff are amazing and know you by name when you walk in and the chef is always inspired with new flavours and culinary adventures. My absolute favourite dishes are the cultura Caesar and the pan fried gnocchi. They also make a mean smoked old fashioned!

My partner and I treated ourselves to probably the best food & drinks we’ve ever had in our life. We ordered the daily specials. Yes, it’s pricey, but for a good reason. The experience was phenomenal and everything tasted like gold. Our server, Bronwyn, (I can’t recall how it’s spelt I’m sorry if I butchered that), was super helpful and super friendly. Great service!

Short visit to North Bay and decided to have dinner here on the weekend because of the stellar reviews. What a fantastic place! We ordered the prime rib and the short ribs- one of the best meals we’ve ever had! My partner is from the UK and said the Yorkshire pudding was the best they’ve had outside of England. It’s not a cheap meal, but you get what you pay for. Will eagerly return if we ever end up in town again!

Friends treated my wife and I here at Churchill's. We're from out of town so our first time there. Our waitress was fantastic, had lots to say about menu options as well as wine options. While we were mulling over appetizers Bryce the chef came to the table for a visit. Such excellent personal service. Appetizers and the main were just amazing. Beyond expectations. I think more trips to North Bay are necessary just to eat at Churchill's again. Thank for a memorable evening.

My partner and I attended Churchill’s on Valentine’s Day. After having a reservation booked for over 3 weeks and working all day we were both very excited for a date night. Unfortunately our experience left us feeling quite upset. The food itself was amazing and our waitress was very kind. The hours state kitchen closes at 10pm, our reservation was made for 9:45pm as we work 12 hour shifts so we understood the food would come out faster than normal. However, once our food arrived the staff became increasingly loud, we could hear their conversations throughout the whole restaurant which included cursing, shouting and unprofessional conversations about their private lives. This really put a damper on our experience as we spent over $150 on our meal, we were hoping to have a quiet and intimate night which most definitely was not the case. Our waitress apologized at the end of the night for the noise but then proceeded to say that everyone is just excited. It felt like the staff had forgot my partner and I were still trying to finish our meal and chat but at the point we could barely hear eachother. I was really hoping for a better experience here.

Perfect place for celebrations of all types. Full bar with a good selection of liquor. Waitress was amazing Both I and my partner had the prime rib, which was really amazing. The prime rib could have been better if it had a crust on the outside with herbs and spices. Just seemed a little bland compared to somewhere like the Keg.

Farina Ristorante, located inside the Best Western, offers a convenient option for those looking to enjoy a drink and some food without leaving the premises. While the menu is somewhat limited and prices are on the higher side, they have an excellent cappelletti dish, a unique Caesar salad, and delicious lasagna. The ambiance is cozy with soft lighting and beautiful decor. Additionally, they provide great service and can even accommodate special requests.
I didn't think to take photos of our dinner but that was amazing as well! Our Server Tammy was outstanding! We are most likely going to become regulars becouse of her lol I don't know who the Chef is but WOW! The food was so good and well presented! The atmosphere was so nice! Looking forward to my next visit!

Our waitress was amazing but she was not supported by the rest of the restaurant. Some event was in the hotel and the chef totally ignored us. Took 2 hours to get food. All of us had too much onion in our dishes and watery cream sauce. Do not recommend.

Great atmosphere and awesome service. We were looked after through our whole dinner and the server was fantastic. Definitely a good place to go for a date or with family and friends!

I have dined at this restaurant last week while I was staying at BW hotel during a business trip. Hotel has advised Farina Ristorante to have dinner at, as I was recently rated best pasta place in town. The server was great, food came in an accessible timeline. However, muscles came in extremely salty and spicy, with zero flavor, just salt and heat! Pasta was really disappointing, again no flavour, sloppy and just blend. The price point was much higher than the quality of food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so beautiful, it was so disappointing that the food didn't match. Just looking for owners to look into the quality of food that comes from your kitchen. And I hope in the future, they make some changes to offer delicious food for future customers.

Little pricy for dinner but good. I had the chicken Parm and was very natural and felt home cooked. Personally the presentation was a little messy for me however I would recommend the dish.

Had the eggs benedict, which was good. Had an experienced waitress who was kind and refilled the coffee before I needed to ask. The restaurant has Italian decor and is nicely decorated.

Kitchen was not ready to handle the amount of people there. Wedding, our reservation and regular hotel customers. Food was slow, staff agitated (lots of yelling in kitchen) and that led to issues with food quality, which at the price you're paying is not acceptable.

The quality of the food at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Their seafood pasta was truly unpleasant, lacking any flavor. The seafood appeared to be frozen and reheated. And the pasta itself was excessively watery. We paid $32 for the dish that we could not eat.

I tried this place because it is located in my hotel. I had a ticket be for a free breakfast which was ok. Pancakes were very dense and hard to eat. The sausages casing were very tough as well. For dinner I had the anichini and Osso buco. The rice balls weren't bad, the breading is very thick and crunchy. Inside could use something else like peas added. Kinda just blah but good tomato sauce. Osso Buco had good flavour, not a whole lot of meat for what I paid. I don't care for polenta which is what it is supposed to c ok me with so I got rissoto. Very chewy and gummy/starchy. I don't think I will be back during this trip.

I had pretty low expectations, but convenience was the most important factor for our one night stay at the BW while travelling. The mushroom ravioli was solid, but spinach and ricotta gnocchi was incredible! It came with a very unique carrot cream sauce that had a nice delicate flavour. The server was also fun and engaging.

They served the best cappelletti dish I have ever tasted! A unique and delicious Caesar salad, amazing lasagna, soft lighting, beautiful decor, the food was fantastic, they even made a custom dish as a special request. We had a great dinner and it was not overly expensive. This will be a regular stop for our family.

A great little spot inside the Best Western, that saves you having to leave the premises for an evening drink and a bite. Menu was very limited and a little on the pricey side tho if you just wanted something to snack on with your drink. And to clarify this was Fab bar, which is just the bar side of the restaurant.

This was our 1st time there having lived for about 6 years in the area so was very excited about trying it. Service staff were great!. Unfortunately the meal was not the best for me I ordered pickerel, which unfortunately was very very dry ( and that's also the same option in some other members of the party) and even though bones are expected, didn't expect that relatively large quantity in a fillet that usually only has one or two bones , if any at all The sauce ,I found was just oily oil, so had none of that also. We were in quite a large party so that may have something to do with it even though that really shouldn't matter. Willing to try again just to see if that was a one off night. Hope so as eating out is now a luxury.
