Wineries & Vineyards
Nestled among the vines, Serendipity Winery is a testament to taking risks and saying yes to opportunities. Owner Judy Kingston stumbled upon an orchard for sale in 2005 and decided to purchase it on a whim. Her intuition proved right as the winery now boasts award-winning wine varieties and a bistro with seasonal gourmet dining. The picturesque setting resembles something out of a movie, with stone and wood architecture blending seamlessly into the surroundings.
Had a great time there for Mother's Day. We met the owner Judy who takes pride in meeting her customers and she even brought us her own tasty and savoury homemade scones for a small snack before our lunch. Tristan the chef was amazing and friendly, and created awesome dishes. The tiger prawns with mango salsa and tostadas were delicious and a good sized portion. We appreciated the heaters on the covered patio as the weather was still cool. Service was prompt and came at just the right times. We had the cheese platter for dessert and it was super and just right for 4 to share. Next time we will return for some wine tasting too, as the wines we had for lunch were very good. Try the viogner - it's a great pairing with that shrimp dish ;)

A really cool, authentic feeling winery and restaurant. It has a very small dining area, but it was very unique and cozy. The menu was very small, but the food was excellent. It took some time to get our food (it’s a tiny, one man kitchen) but it was worth the wait! We also really enjoyed the wine there - particularly the sparkling wine. I highly recommend coming here for a tasting and a meal!

Beautiful hidden gem of the naramata section of the bench, their red wines are beautiful, highly recommend their wine called - "the next step"

You just can’t miss this winery! Gorgeous setting amongst the vineyards with an European country ambiance. Wonderful staff, a lunch menu that is not only so refreshing to see but absolutely delicious! Oh, don’t forget the wine! Franco Blanco my new favourite. Easy e-bike off the KVR trail. Thank you for being the highlight of our ride!
Sandra Rathwell — Google review
Enjoyed our wine tasting, liked hearing the stories and the food pairing to go with the wines. Had lunch at the bistro and it was delicious. The flavor combinations were amazing! Chef Tristan is truly talented. A bistro meal or snack is a must at Serendipity! All the staff were very pleasant and professional. Looking forward to returning.

Absolutely amazing! Judy and her team are fantastic. Chef Tristan is a gem and every single dish we had was incredible. We were a party of six, made a reservation for tasting and lunch. The Viognier was truly spectacular! Thank you we will be back!

Just came for dinner at the bistro and it was wonderful. The chef is very accomplished and I am familiar with his past successes in Calgary. All of the dishes had local and fresh ingredients and I was impressed by how creative they were. The Road to Hana Poke, deconstructed and plated to tell a story of the actual Road to Hana. The Avocado Scotch Egg, very imaginative and original. The Lobster Lasagna, noodle-less and so delicious. Well done.

Stopped here mainly for lunch while checking out wineries along Naramata Bench. The food which we shared amongst us, as a suggestion from the staff, was amazing so glad we got to taste all the dishes Shrimp Aguachile, Carrot and Pea Risotto, Fraser Valley Rainbow Trout, stuffed zucchini in curry sauce and Pistachio Pesto Gnudi all extremely tasty. No-one from the table could work out a favourite, they were all good. Sauvignon Blanc was excellent pairing to the dishes. Definitely would go back.
Helene P — Google review
We came for wine tasting and wow blown away. We got a chance to talk to the owner and got tons of background on wine making which is nice and a personal touch. The wine itself is amazing. Many of the Reds are 2011 and 2012. They want the wines to be cellard when people buy them. Wow it shows. Very impressed. My wife liked the rose alot. Cost carries but very good prices especially for a 2011. Staff was very professional and seemed to appreciate our business. Walked out with 7 bottles

The Naramata Creek Park hiking trail traverses the Naramata Creek, meandering through a deep river gorge until it reaches an enchanting cascading waterfall. This scenic route spans approximately 2.4 km, providing hikers with a round-trip experience lasting about an hour. The journey is characterized by towering rock slabs, lush vegetation, and the gentle sound of running water from the trickling creek that flows alongside the path.

Naramata Inn is a charming 1908 retreat with cozy rooms and a romantic ambiance. The on-site restaurant offers exceptional farm-to-table dining, led by top Canadian chef Jacob Deacon-Evans. The menu celebrates local growers and artisans, offering a true Naramatian experience. Guests can enjoy prix fixe lunch and dinner options, complemented by an extensive wine list. Despite the Covid lockdown, diners had a fantastic experience on the veranda with heaters and blankets provided.
We stayed two nights and had two dinners at the restaurant. The hotel is a lovely converted house with unique rooms, clean, quiet and very comfortable. We sat outside on the veranda for morning coffee and before dinner drinks. Both of our evening meals were divine. Each dish had lovely flavoured sauces to accompany the entree. The service was impeccable, a wonderful sommelier who really knew her wines. We encourage everyone to dine at the restaurant for a truly fabulous experience.

Chose to stay here definitely because of the reputable restaurant. Had an extremely warm welcome upon arrival. We booked a room with a Queen Bed because rooms with King Beds were sold out. Not really impressed with the room. The bath tub was old with cracked paint covered up with a bath mat. We did not dare to take a bath in it. Temperature Control was not to be touched & it was too warm the night we stayed there. Had a walk around the neighborhood before dinner. The short stroll to the beach was relaxing & it was just a short walk to the small town center with a few shops & a general store. Dinner did not disappoint. Food was delicious and of good portion. The simple complimentary breakfast was also yummy ~ the best scones I’ve had & very tasty granola. They have an old elevator & it was an experience to ride it. Overall, won’t hesitate to visit again for food but probably won’t stay overnight again.

My review is based off the restaurant alone as I have never stayed a night here as a guest. I had a wonderful experience here and did not get sick eating here as someone with celiac disease. The food is phenomenal and a real treat. The staff is knowledgeable about celiac disease and knows what off the menu is gluten free. I would highly recommend it for anyone else with celiac disease or not! They were able to switch the menu around so I could safely eat there. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

We had a great stay at the Naramata Inn. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The food was fantastic, and the bed was super comfy. So much character for such an old building. A little more (local) artwork in the rooms would be nice. Will definitely return, and highly recommend!

Went to the restaurant this past weekend and it was Amazing! Several of the plates at our table were "best ever had" versions of those meals. My compliments to the chef and the rest of team. It really felt like they wanted you to have a magnificent culinary experience - and it was.

The Naramata Inn is an oasis of serenity. A two-night stay felt like a six-month holiday! The property has been beautifully and tastefully restored with funky flair and elegance. The staff are authentically welcoming and the breakfast yogurt is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this property.

We went to Eliza’s wine bar specifically to see Aidan Mayes and both the music and the bar did not disappoint. Great cosy atmosphere, lovely food and wine, which made for a great evening. I will definitely be back for more music offerings here in the future

I would give the Naramata Inn a 10 star review if I could!! I love that they truly only serve local food- not even limes at their bar! The cocktails are delicious and creative, the wine selection is divine and the food is just amazing. My husband and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary and enjoyed a lunch on their patio- it was beautiful. The service was EXCELLENT. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menus and was the perfect amount of chatty :) We will be back!

We went here tonight for my dad's birthday. Every single bite of this meal was truly incredible. The soup as an Appy and the beef for my main we're absolutely delicious. The service was prompt, but not intrusive at all. Dessert was exceptional and I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic fine dining experience!

We stayed two nights at the inn the food at the restaurant was excellent definitely five star quality. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The grounds was spectacular very relaxing. We have a few minor recommendations for room 3. The vents are on the ceiling which made it uncomfortable when sleeping due to the AC blowing on our face, recommend putting a cover to redirect the air much like the one in the dining room. There is no full length mirrors in the room would be nice to have that final look before heading out. The washroom taps in the sink is outdated it may be charming and add to the decor but I was not sure how to use two independent hot and cold taps.
Anita Persaud — Google review
Friendly staff, timeless rooms and hotel, beautiful property. Negatives are, no room service or amenities and "breakfast" consists of yogurt and croissants until 9am. You cannot order any breakfast. Really inconvenient having to get into your car and drive into the town to find food, otherwise you have to wait until dinner at the hotel. Easy revenue streams that are not utilized by management. Feed your guests 18 hours a day and they will spend the money and be very happy.
RAJ — Google review
This is an beautifully restored heritage inn - from the buffed wood floors to the period light fixtures to the lovely grounds with mature trees and expansive lawns. We loved the Innkeepers' suite - so spacious and comfy. We had a light dinner in the wine bar twice - and the squash soup was so divine we had it both evenings. The breakfast was terrific - especially the homemade plum and quince jams. The staff are so competent, capable and service-oriented - and there is a concierge 24-hours. Just out the door to the left is a lovely walk 30 minutes to the end of Mill Road along the lake and past wineries - so picturesque. This is a solid 5/5 - and we've stayed in many heritage inns over the years. We'll be back.

This is a revitalized hotel in a historic character wooden building in which original finishes have been recovered and tastefully updated to modern building codes. Probably not the place to stay in deep winter as the windows are for the most part single glazed, but the ambient inside temperatures during cool Fall weather were perfect. The hospitality of the very personable staff was much appreciated and made this stay special. Excellent fine food. We look forward to our next visit.

I can't say enough good things about this place. My partner and I went there for brunch and the staff were all marvelously kind, the ambiance was lovely and the food was phenomenal. Would absolutely recommend this place.

The service was friendly and welcoming yet professional. Staff went out of their way to see we were comfortable and had all we needed. The food and service in both restaurants were exceptional. While the rooms are small, they have been creatively renovated to suit the building and are very comfortable. We reserved for 2 nights but decided to extend an extra day and were pleased we did I highly recommend the Naramata Inn.

This was my 1st time to the Okanagan area. This inn was very nice and charming. The staff are amazing. Sophia, Nicole and Grace and the young lady who was always at breakfast but unfortunately forgot her name. The rooms are nice bit you can hear everything as it is an older building. The only issue I had with the service was the room cleaning. On the 1st day they did not clean my room as we left personal items on the bed. 1st time I have experienced this in any hotel in the world. Loved the location and the proximity to nice wineries, the lake and good hiking and biking. Dinner at the restaurant was great.

An interesting experience to get away from the daily hustle and bustle. The food was truly excellent and our wine was wonderful.

We dropped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and were accommodated and seated on the patio. Their restaurant itself is beautiful and classy. The servers were very friendly as well. We enjoyed the charcuterie followed by our entrees. The lamb was beautifully plated and well cooked. It was perhaps the highlight dish at the time as we could smell the lovely residual aroma when the folks behind us were first served. I also recommend browsing their drink options as they had some nice servings there that I hadn't found in other restaurants.
Fletcher Moyo — Google review
I booked this hotel quite a few months before staying. This was a reunion with friends after 23 years. The preplanning communication was flawless, with wonderful recommendations presented as requested. The evening meal was delicious and the service we got from our server was terrific. The pairing of local wines with our meals improved the experience - thank you the Sommelier. We never felt rushed, and this made our experience even better. The renovations have returned this lovely old building into something special, keeping the old style with modern touches and technology. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Thank you all for your efforts.

Wharf Park in the village is situated at the original location of the old Train Dock. It served as the port for the Naramata fruit co-op packinghouse. Both locals and summer visitors have cherished memories of jumping off the old train docks into the water, although sometimes resulting in a few injuries. The new wharf may be smaller but still offers a ladder to assist with resurfacing after adventurous dives.
Beautiful park. Ev charging station. Restroom. Adequate parking. Nice statue. Cool lookout point. Well maintained. Not too busy.

What a lovely park to walk through where one can enjoy the beauty of the lake, the land and the hills. The bathrooms were open to use (November 27, 2020) and the park was well cared for and clean. Stop in next time you are passing through Naramata.

Lovely park with access to water and beautiful lake views. Picnic tables, places to set up beach mats, a little wharf. We had a really nice Lakeview lunch there. Only downside: the only washrooms are outhouses (not flush toilets) with no running water/soap and are not well cared for. Totally full of black flies and stunk of urine. If you need a proper washroom, you have to find a local business (pub/coffee shop).

A very nice patch with easy access to the water. The park consists of paths, a small Pier and a small sandy beach to the right to launch Paddleboards, kayaks, go for a swim. The beach itself is not big but it’s nice and sheltered from waves if any.

Elephant Island’s fruit wines are amazing, the circus style tasting room is a nice touch. We have been here countless times, and the experience has been consistent with service and the quality of their wines. You will not be able to leave the place without a bottle or two!
Shivani Meher — Google review
Beware Tastings stop at 5:15 (although Google says open until 6:00) The service we had, despite arriving after the cutoff time, was excellent. We were allowed to try up to 4 wines with the purchase of a bottle so it was basically a wine tasting anyways! Admittedly, not everyone will like this sweeter style of wine. However, I was definitely a fan! Really nice looking outdoor seating area too.
T Prentice — Google review
Very cool winery with a great atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and accommodating during COVID shenanigans. Wine is delicious and unique. Had to try them all and buy a variety, not just one. They tend to get busy during the touristy season so plan ahead. This winery is worth the trip though. I like the layout and vibe. Owners are very personable as well. Cheers!

Always a good time at Elephant Island. Tasting is $10.00/person, non-refundable for 4 pours. Always two flight options. - Gin botanical cider - we were offered a cider to start. Light, subtle gin flavour. - The Rockstar ($10.00) - we were given 2021 pear, 2021 black currant, 2022 framboise fortified, 2022 apricot dessert and 2022 cassis. All their fruit wines are delicious. Only the pear was light in flavour.

Wow! Great fruit wines! Loved the outdoor tasting experience. We went home with Crabapple and Framboise.
Harmoni — Google review
Awful service experience caused by a old cashier lady with white hair, glasses, and wearing a white poncho that was serving the cash register around 1pm-1:30pm. She was racist towards our entire group and gave us an attitude. Basically suggesting that we don’t belong there because we wanted to split 2 wine tasting between 4 people. She yelled across the room to the server lady so that everyone could hear. Horrible experience and would NOT recommend anyone wasting their hard earned money at this vineyard. Glasses for wine and water were both dirty.
Joshua Brown — Google review
Thornhaven winery recommended us to Elephant Island. Great recommendation and a place we'll come back to. We enjoyed all of their wines that we tried. We completed the grape and fruit tasting and they did not disappoint. The blackcurrant wine is beautiful. The framboise fortified is sweet, but has the right notes to it. The pear is a wonderful dry fruit wine with a smooth finish. We walked away with several bottles and plan to order from them for family members.
Stacey Freeman — Google review
We love elephant island! This is an awesome winery with the best fruit wines I have ever tasted. The atmosphere is intimate and the service is top notch. Also, the pricing might be the best on the Naramata Bench. Highly recommend!
Jordan Schulting — Google review
This place proved me wrong. They convinced me that fruit wines can actually have a place in this world!! Believe it or not, the fruit wines were SIGNIFICANTLY better than the regular wines from their selection. Each of the fruit wines had potent & lovely blends of flavours from the respective fruit they were featuring! Go out of your comfort zone & give them a try! I found they all ran towards the sweet side but as I mentioned, very well executed! :) PS - they offered water with the tasting which was a nice touch that others don't usually have!
Lindsey — Google review
Every time we pass through the Okanagan, we stop to pick up more Black Currant wine. It has such a unique taste and really is a topic of conversation whenever we crack one open. We love the puckery flavor and the atmosphere of the patio. It's great that they have a little play area as well, so our little 11 month old was entertained while we did a quick tasting of some of the other wines they offer!

Love their fruit wines! So good! And such unique flavours! Each one is very different but so good. Fun. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff! Nice outdoor seating area!

The Neverland Tea Cottage Naramata, a sister establishment of the Vancouver teahouse, is gaining recognition for its exceptional afternoon tea service. Customers can indulge in a delightful assortment of sweet and savory treats, with options available for vegetarians and children. The charming ambiance adds to the overall experience, complemented by a wide selection of hot or iced teas. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy delicious goodies and purchase loose-leaf teas on-site.
Worth making the trip to naramata for a beautiful high tea experience! Clearly laid out menu, service was quick and well explained. Highly recommend.

We went to the Neverland Tea Cottage in Naramata for my niece’s eighth birthday. It was such a wonderful experience. My sister and I are both allergic to gluten so we were so excited to try their gluten free menu. We were not disappointed. The gluten free scones were the best I have ever had! They were moist, tender, and not too sweet. Thank you so much for the great experience.

BEST INTIMATE WEDDING VENUE EVER! Neverland Tea Cottage was our venue for our wedding and it was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Our intimate wedding (50) was perfectly entertained in this space, which held our ceremony, dinner and dance/reception all in separate parts of the Tea Cottage - pictures attached. The team at Neverland was amazing and willing to be flexible to make their space work to ensure all guests would be comfortable. Many of our guests said it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had been to. Because the atmosphere and beauty of the Tea Cottage itself, we only added a few pillar candles to 'decorate' the space.

Very cute, little tea house on the shores of Okanagan Lake, with tons of amazing teas to choose from and a beautiful high tea. My girlfriend and I went here on one of our more recent trips and had the "Traditional" high tea tower, two kinds of Rooibos tea as well as London fogs. 10/10 would go to again for a charming meal.
Josh Botha — Google review
I hate not giving a full 5-star review because this is such a cute, unique experience in the Okanagan, but I also want to let people know what to expect. I took my Mom here for the high tea experience, and we loved the whimsical, Instagram worthy atmosphere. There was no detail left out of the experience, from the three tiered snack plate, to the vintage teacups, to the wallpapered bathroom. However, I hate to say that it is very overpriced. At around $120 for two people before tip for small sandwiches, desserts, and tea, I find this not worth it. Maybe if they were the best sandwiches and desserts I've ever had in my life, but I can't say that they were. They also advertise "unlimited tea", but unfortunately they give you a whole teapot of the tea you choose, so you can only really try 1 or maybe 2 from their expansive tea menu. It would be nice if they only made you a single cup so you can try as many as you like. I'd still recommend going for the experience, but maybe just grab a tea or sandwich!

High Tea is a delightful treat and Neveland does not disappoint! Beautifully appointed and attention to every detail! My girls loved their Tinkerbell tea and my hubby and I devoured ours. The tea selection is amazing and you can enjoy it hot or cold! The scone was my favourite! Fair prices, delicious food and a gorgeous setting makes this place a fairytale in real life!

A hidden gem! Such a lovely patio with plenty of shaded spots thanks to the surrounding trees and their many umbrellas; I was worried it would be too hot but we were perfectly comfortable despite it being sunny and 30+ degrees (visited the last week of July). Clearly a lot of thought went into making this spot as beautiful and inviting as it is. My friend and I both got the vegetarian high tea and every item was delicious! The scones were our favourite part. :) We drove an hour from Osoyoos to try it and it was well worth it!

Being here feels like you are inside the soul of a macaron… it’s just delightful. There are so many adorable and sweet touches. We had the high tea which I liked better than that served at the Fairmont. But don’t feel limited to the high tea the lunch selection is great. Definitely worth a visit. I’d advise booking especially in high season because I can see it being jam packed.

Visited Naramata Pub & Grill for dinner, a delightful pub eatery with a pleasant atmosphere and charming ambiance. Offering both family-friendly dining and a lively pub area, this establishment exudes warmth and charm. The menu features reasonably priced dishes that cater to diverse tastes. The staff is friendly, professional, and ensures prompt service. With an impressive selection of local beers on tap and wines from nearby wineries, this venue is perfect for enjoying a refreshing drink or two.
The fish is famous. I had the chicken burger which was a real treat. Friendly staff. Didn’t like the bare lighting inside, found it hard on the eyes. Other than that great atmosphere.

Great, welcoming service. Enormous serving of tasty nachos. Good selection of wine, beer.

After a walk on the nearby KVR trail, my friend & I went to the pub to rest, relax a bit. That time we ordered the appetizer plate..it was large, stuffed with 6 or 7 deep fried items like chicken wings & tenders, spring rolls, zucchini sticks etc..we couldn't finish it. We went another time & shared a clubhouse & raved over the fries

Riding the Naramata Bench decided to stop on for some wings on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Sat at the bar. Ordered the chicken wings (great crunchy wings a tad on the oily side) Got the feeling I was not welcome. Not sure what the deal was. Previous experience here has always been fun and welcoming. Great little pub to stop with friends, got the cold shoulder when riding solo. Not so keen on returning.

The food was actually so good, we thought we were going to get regular frozen warmed up pub food, this place actually has delicious food. 10/10 fish and chips. Bonus for all the plants around the place, loved it!

We haven't tried the food yet but we went there few times for beer and the place is cool with very friendly staff. We will be trying their food one of these days.

Sweet little pub and we went on wing night so got some cut price banging wings with good beer options. Could make more of the outside space I thought. Service was really good.

Our experience was mixed. The server was super friendly and atmosphere was comfortable enough. I had the fish tacos and a glass of wine from the area, both of which were very enjoyable. My companion had a very disappointing chicken burger which seemed to be of the premade frozen variety. She found it dry and unappetizing and left half. Fries were good.

I was here for supper one night. It is a great little pub restaurant. Family dinning on one side and pub on other side. Has a great vibe and wonderful astatic feel to the place. Food was was in a proper price point for what I ordered. Staff was friendly and professional. Food served quickly and had many local beers on tap and lots of wine from local wineries from the area. Would totally say worth a stop in and have a bite to eat. Or just go for a brew and shoot some pool.

Food is always good here but the service is awful. Amazing that a server shows up, gets a drink order then leaves the table empty handed while people are surrounded by dirty dishes. This has happened several times over the years. Several in our group said they will eat before going there in future. The meals here are usually really good so perhaps take out?

Price speaks for it self… $50.00 for two beers and the special burger. (We split the burger). The burger was $23.00 (bison and sausage mix) Waitress was very good, the place was clean and inviting… but the burger rated a one.

Bench 1775 Winery, located in Naramata Bench, is a popular lunch spot known for its stunning patio views. After a period of offering only charcuterie boards due to the pandemic, the winery's bistro is now open again, serving small Asian-themed dishes from Thursday to Sunday. The winery boasts an ever-growing selection of wines and offers a warm ambiance with personable staff.
Bench 1775 is an amazing venue. It provides a peaceful and calm experience all with amazing views of the water and surrounding areas. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive and they offer a comprehensive and versatile roster of wines. I will be back this summer. Thanks again !

We were in the area and decided to stop in for a wine tasting. Looks like they had some pretty serious construction going on, and we look forward to going back again in the summer months. The lady who poured our wine was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the winery. The wine tasting experience overall was good and I would recommend stopping in at this place for a wine tasting.
Al Bargen — Google review
Must visit! The winery itself has the most beautiful views of the lake and the wine itself was insanely good. The best part of the winery is the wonderful and knowledgeable staff who make the tasting experience so enjoyable. Special mention to Ezit who went above and beyond to take care of our group. She made sure Bench 1775 became the highlight of our trip. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time at bench 1775. The view is gorgeous and the wines were great :)

Really wanted to love this place based on some of the reviews and the beautiful patio. Unfortunately the whole experience was…awkward. It began with a staff member walking right by us as we walked in and ignoring us. We were unsure if we should stop at the front desk or continue in to the tasting room. We slowly decided to walk toward the tasting room and a staff member, with a bit of a tone, asked if we were here for lunch or a tasting. We said, “Tasting” and she scanned the mostly empty bar and said she could, “Probably” fit us in. The wine themselves were great, however the tasting experience was very uncomfortable. The staff member stood over top of us the whole time, interrupted us as we tried to comment on the wines (amongst ourselves) and even argued slightly when we were discussing. Ultimately her descriptions of the wines seemed very much rehearsed (which I totally understand) but could not deviate from the script whatsoever and seemed to need to get through the monologue by whatever means necessary which totally interfered with any kind of organic conversation. Following the tasting we asked if we could enjoy a glass on the patio before deciding on which bottles to get and she seemed very annoyed and said, “Only with food.” I am probably missing something as to why that would be necessary but we agreed to order something to share. She then insisted that we pay for our tasting and our bottles before heading to the patio, which seemed very odd. We asked if we could buy some glasses of wine first to ensure we were purchasing exactly what we wanted but she was insistent that we clear up with her first. I suspect this was for tipping reasons, which we would have totally kept separate between the staff and ensured she was compensated. Regardless we made our bottle purchases under duress, but not before being told they do not accept cash with a very dismissive and ignorant tone (which embarrassed the senior in our group who was quite looking forward to paying for our experience). We were then told to walk toward the patio and await a server. We stood for several minutes before a waitress asked what we were going and we told her the lady inside said she would get us seated. She looked perplexed but, again, awkwardly, led us to a table. We waited for several minutes before an even more uncomfortable waiter took our order. As we were not hungry and only ordered a very small tapas in order to enjoy the view, he looked annoyed and said our choice was very small. We explained why we ordered what we did and he too seemed annoyed by our presence. After several long minutes and watching bigger groups who had come after us be served much earlier, we got our wine and food. Again, the wine and food were great but the service and attitude were enough to ensure we do not return again.

Once again we had a lovely experience at Bench 1775 Winery. Our wine tasting was fun and we enjoyed some great wine. We then went to the patio to enjoy the Korean BBQ. We shared some food that was all amazing and it paired great on a hot day with the rose. My absolute favourite is the whipped feta!! Thanks once again for the lovely service and great wine! Also thank you to Josh for all the great service you give us!

Probably 4.5, but I cannot enter that. This was a return visit. The atmosphere was more relaxed a few years ago. They have a wide selection of wines, perhaps too many. None are WOW, but many were quite drinkable. Malachi was our host, and to be honest the most memorable aspect of the entire visit. The site and the view are excellent. Perhaps offering premium tasting in a quieter more private setting is something to consider. Definitely worth a visit.

The winery, view and the wines were amazing, but what was a cherry on top was the staff. Wonderful Ezit, saved the whole experience for us! Our car broke and we were over an hour late for the tasting, but she saved the table for us, took care of us after this very long and stressful day and even offered a drive back to town. Truly Amazing person! I’ll be back for sure, this time hoping to spend more time and try the food.

We were so looking forward to our booked complimentary tasting here through our Visa, it was our third, but worst tasting experience of the day! Right away the employee demanded that we each show him our Visa, very accusatory and mistrusting (we had a reservation, one RBC Visa up to three guests). Any time one of us asked a question or inquired on the wine, he was annoyed that we "interrupted" him and he had to go back on his spiel. Very unprofessional, disrespectful, and terrible customer service! Beautiful winery, but the worst customer service, clearly don't value their audience. This was the only winery we didn't actually purchase any wine, we were that upset and angry. Highly recommend Laughing Stock and Black Widow, 100% better service, knowledge, and kindness!

This place hit the right mark for my partner and I. We walked in and were immediately greeted and welcomed. The staff were incredible, friendly and joked around with all of the guests. We started with a tasting and ended up purchasing the Viognier. We stayed for the patio and the food. The dumplings and Korean BBQ pasta were great. We had the perfect view and once again a very accommodating bunch of staff. We plan to come back again.

Loved the overall experience. It was a rainy day and a trip to Bench 1775 Winery helped save us from an otherwise gloomy day in Penticton. The staff is amazing, loved each small little detail provided for every tasting. Definitely coming again. The location is too beautiful and looks Insta-worthy ;)

I don't think you can get a more amazing panoramic view of Okanagan Lake from 1775's beautiful patio! Did a wine tasting today and sampled some food from their bistro menu as well as from a Wood Fired gourmet pizza truck they had there for Canada Day weekend. Delicious food (Asian fusion), and friendly service. I really enjoyed their selection of wines and am looking forward to returning for another tasting, but next time with their food pairings!

It was amazing experience visiting Bench 1775 winery! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly! The view might be the best in Canada. I heard Bench 1775 Winery's view ranks No#4 in the world according to an USA winery magazine. Good to see it in person! Our group bought almost 10 cases of wines - we registered for membership and got discount right away. I love Chill - good taste!

One of the most gorgeous views in the okanagan! This winery is absolutely stunning. The ambiance is astounding and the staff is very personable. When we went for wine tasting, the staff member serving us had the most perfect personality for serving customers. She was able to make us feel invited in, and gave us suggestions of other things to do while in town. This winery has a vast selection if wines and it is constantly growing. They had a dog there as well! That alone gets a 5/5 stars.

Lake Breeze's patio is one of the finest and most memorable lunch experiences in Naramata! Delicious food and unbeatable ambiance make this a "must do" if you love great wine and food! Their wines are excellent, sophisticated and refined. Go here - but arrive early as they don't take reservations!

It saids it in its name, we had a great lunch with lake breezes to cool the summer heat. The menu is limited but food tasted great. We were able to get a table as a walkin but if you want to sit up front for a better view, I strongly recommend in making a reservation ahead of time.

We visited Lake Breeze after hearing rave reviews and only “hoped” it would live up to our expectations BUT with two young kids in tow, and a dog, they were beyond wonderful and actually managed to exceed our expectations!!! Pasta friendly dish for our little people, quick to supply water for our dog, and the atmosphere is stunning and the food so tasty for the adults. This one is top of my list if visiting Naramata!!! Michelle helped make this five stars but I would give them (her) ten if allowed!

A lovely place to visit, enjoy their wines and if time permitting, lunch on their patio. We did all of the aforementioned. I was hesitant at first as it looked like a trendy thing to do. I don't do trendy, I do quality. I'm happy that I was convinced to go as it turned out to be a pleasant afternoon and I was wrong on the trendy part. Our server was Avalon, professional and engaging. We had ordered food ahead (7 of us for a birthday party) and she asked if there was any changes when we were seated. Nice that we could do this. The salads were fresh and crisp. The other appys were equally as good. I switched to the Swordfish (something new for me) from Lamb. I should have stayed with the lamb. The swordfish was flattened to a quarter inch and while it was tasty with the sauce, I felt a tad overdone. In fairness to the chef, swordfish was new to me however several others tried it and no one seemed to be overly enthused. The lamb was cooked to perfection. I tried it, yummy. One of our family tried the duck, he would order it again. The desserts were great. I recommend the cheese cake. It was a lovely birthday event and I recommend the experience to everyone. No birthday, no worries, just go and enjoy. I'm sure all of the servers are great but we really liked ours. She evidently likes her job and her enthusiasm shows it. A wonderful afternoon regardless of the smoke and inability to see the lake. A minor inconvenience and hopefully for all, especially residents fearful of the fires, it will change to clear conditions soon and the view from their patio will be lovely again.

Lake Breeze was beautiful, fun and comfortable. The service at the Patio was so helpful and on point; from the hostess Faith, our server Sarah and the manager Candice. They helped select menu items with wine that enhanced it all. The food was amazing! We then went and did a wine tasting. Stephanie (Our wine host) was friendly knowledable and sweet. We bought a few bottles. The whole experience was an amazing afternoon with delicious food, fantastic wine in a stunning environment.❤️ I highly recommend!!

Have been here a few times and love the food. Limited menu but you can’t go wrong. Restaurant seating is outside but there is plenty of trees and umbrellas to shade you. View is gorgeous and staff is great. Desserts were amazing. Pricey - but you get what you pay for and you will not find a typical burger and fries here - but the salads and soups and pasta are great! Wine is also pricey in the restaurant but there are some bottles at good price points to take home and they will add to your bill in the restaurant and bring out for you if you ask. They are on the tour line up so try and get there between bus loads.
