Just want to give a massive shout out to the trail builder Ethan! I was having a great ride today but unfortunately took a spill into a tree. Thankfully it was just my shoulder but couldn’t ride due to the injury so I started walking my bike down. On the way down I ran into Ethan and without hesitation he helped bring my bike down and load it in my truck. Super cool guy! I have to say the mtn bike community is the best community out there! Cheers

Totally a mark of respect for Lynn. Incredible park with jumps, drops, flow, pump tracks and a killer DJ Line!
Nick Brooks — Google review
Pump track is amazing, not many options for begginer dirt jumpers, progression ramped up rapidly between beginner table tops to large gaps. Very sunny at parking lot area

Bear in tree in between trails! About 100 metres from the one beside the homes. It looked directly at me. I put my hands out in front of me and semi loudly said "everything is cool" and as far as I know it didn't climb down the tree but didn't follow me - ps I walked backwards all the way to the road. Monday Sept 4th/2023 at 11am - many people were in the park/it was pretty noisy. I am not sure if it had been sleeping maybe and I had walked by around 9:30am I didn't see it but I wasn't looking in the trees.

The Jordie Lunn Bike Park is truly something special - a place where the thrills of mountain biking come alive, no matter your skill level. Picture this: trails that weave through beautiful scenery, jumps that get your heart racing, and a vibe that's all about having a great time on two wheels. It's like stepping into a world crafted for adventure and smiles, all while paying tribute to the legendary Jordie Lunn. Riding here feels like you're part of a big, happy family. Whether you're a newbie looking to get your tires dirty for the first time or a seasoned pro aiming to nail that next big jump, there's something here that'll make your day. The park's got this laid-back, friendly atmosphere where everyone's welcome, and it's all about sharing the stoke. It's not just about biking; it's about keeping Jordie's adventurous spirit alive, making new friends, and pushing yourself just a bit further amidst laughs and cheers. Jordie Lunn Bike Park isn't just unique because of its features; it's the whole experience - fun, inclusive, and absolutely unforgettable.

Great facility with many tracks and features to build cycling skills

Fantastic park for bike riders of all ages. Looks like more new XC trails being added as well now that this bike park has just been opened. We took a group of kids to ride here and then easily spent a couple of hours doing runs on the pump tracks and trails. Ample parking. Outhouses available. Gets busy on weekends.

Awesome place to brush up on some necessary trail skills. Pump track, varied drops, low consequence skinnier, intermediate jumps (tabletops) and even a little rock roll. Great place to bring children so they can start to learn technical bike riding skills. My little 4 year old boy loved it on his strider bike. He didn't want to leavem

Amazing local family friendly bike experience. All levels van enjoy this park, even walking trails . So great to have this so close.
Keri&Jay Pollak — Google review
A Langford gem. At first, it was the varying pump tracks. That was a big wow factor. Yet, there are well thought-out skills and jumping sections and even light enduro, technical rock climbing and XC paths! Pick your delights. If you move it up to the gravity zone, check the maps. The trail teams have built a whole additional element up in there. You ramp up the cardiovascular with technical climbing arriving at rewarding summits. You then decide your skill set and feels and it's onto bar gripping, fast paced MTB trail descents. For me, it provides the right balance of workout and adrenaline rush. Trail additions look underway too. Seriously, family bike times or solo missions, you can't go too wrong if you roll safe... RIP JL

Located in southern Vancouver Island, Goldstream Provincial Park is a naturalist's paradise with stunning views of the surrounding forest and waterfalls. Trails wind through the trees and visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and exploring abandoned gold mines.
Such a beautiful park to go to if you want to see some very large, ancient old growth trees! Was really impressed with a nice trail up to the top of Mt Finlayson. There's lots of trails in the area as well that go along the river and around the flat parts too. Would recommend this place for kids and adults alike. It's so nice that we have provincial parks to enjoy like this!
Maria Chevalier — Google review
We have been to the park many times. In the Spring we were fortunate enough to have a naturalist help us identify some birds. I love to photograph them but I have a terrible time remembering visual information so this was a great service to know without having Bird Twitter be uhm it's,,,, | On Sunday we went while the Salmon were running. I used to live near the Adam's River where the Salmon swim 700 km upstream against the mighty Fraser so I admit I have teased our local salmon for being on the lazy side. But in our catastrophic climate it was a relief to see them thrashing up through rocks in this final act of their life. We are so lucky to basically have all this nature in our backyard. I hope to go visit the salmon again in better light. If you go in the spring and have never known why they call these somewhat beautiful vegetation skunk cabbages you will find out. There are picnic tables under shelter, a campground, washrooms and an interpretive center I confess to never having seen with the pandemic the naturalist was roving when I was there last. I love nature so it would be weird to give it a 4 . Despite being thwarted in my quest for the perfect photo - the quest is the thing.

One of my fave local parks. I enjoy several different trails all through out it. There are baby salmon fry in the river now(early September).

Nice little weekend hike through Goldstream Provincial Park and hitting up Niagara Falls. At 47.5 metres it’s almost at high as its famous namesake. 💦 Some hills to climb up and down, around rocks and trees. Be careful on the rocks through the water. Or stay to the sides and keep dry. Recommend hiking 🥾 shoes or boots. The park is also home to 600-year-old Douglas fir trees and western red cedar, western yew and hemlock, red alder, big leaf maple and black cottonwood. 🌲 Phot doesn’t do it justice. The trails are relatively accessible and flat. Easy for walking. I’ll be back in the fall to watch the annual chum salmon spawning run. 🐟
Jacqueline Ross — Google review
Another must go place for nature lovers. You can reach waterfalls through the trails from park on the other side. Follow the trail next to road and you'll see a tunnel and if you cross it you'll reach waterfall. Just be careful while walking. Otherwise you can drive straight and take a u turn on highway and come back for waterfall. It's not too far and it'll worth it. Good hiking place too.

I cannot recommend this campsite enough, I've gone every year since moving to Victoria. This campground is always very clean, they have showers, dishwashing stations, bathrooms and a waterfall nearby! This campground is always full so I'd recommend reserving in advance on the BC Camping site. We had to book in January to get our spot in end of April. They usually reserve 3 months in advance.

Great walk to the Goldstream Falls. Quite a hike taking left trail, easy back through campground. Beautiful set of Falls and the forest is magical.

I visited his park with my HCA class in 2017! Beautiful park to walk in. I had to stay on the more flat ground as my back wasn't able to handle climbing at the time. In the fall the colors were amazing! I want to revisit this park and explore more!
Dwagonfwy — Google review
This is a lovely park with lots and lots of trails and some different waterfalls. It’s split down the middle by the highway, which is really difficult to get across as you can’t turn left at any point along the way (and have to drive 20-30 minutes to turn around). The visitor centre is on one side and the majority of trail heads are on the other. The maps posted in the park also show parking areas where they aren’t found.

We went on the trail towards the parks waterfall. It's an easy walk for those with great agility. If not, bring hiking poles.
Nancy Bryans — Google review
I love this park, it's so beautiful and the sheer size of the trees really brings you to that warm, humble feeling. The falls are a nice little hike, and many more trails are to be discovered daily for and adventurer, also nice to go when the salmon are spawning.

A great park to stroll and enjoy your time. You will see very old and beautiful trees. We felt so relaxed in this amazing nature.

We hiked to the Nature House which was closed but they have an excellent view point towards the inlet. We discovered the Niagara creek tunnel was dry and were able to walk through and see the falls, We hiked up to the top of the falls (go up the stairs on the north side of the creek) it is a strenuous hike up to and above Niagara Canyon on a rustic trail with several steep places and lots of rocks and roots. We reached the Gold Mine and a couple of springs then came back, trail improved in this area. 5.3 miles round trip with a total of 1,000 foot gain (500 ft each way). Beautiful area, enjoyed it but not for the faint of heart or legs.

With provision for day camping with your family and doing a barbeque along with going on trails all around the campground sets, gold stream, provincial Park apart from others. I visited Goldstream on weekend to hike Mt Finlayson. It’s a pretty steep hike and would rate it from moderate to difficult. It can be done between sunrise and sunset hours only. It is highly recommended to have proper gear with you for completing the trail for Mt Finlayson. Stay on the designated trail only. Carry refreshments with you including water on the hike. There are lot of small creeks as you go up the mountain. Other places to see at Goldstream Provincial Park are Niagara Falls that looks spectacular, especially during winters; Salmon runs- It generally occurs between mid-late October to the end of November, where thousands of salmon make their way through Goldstream Park's world-class spawning stream to spawn and die—completing their life cycle. Highly recommended for families to have a get together and spend a fun day in nature.
Dr Yaseen Sheikh — Google review
A short easy walk through the woods gets you to the beautiful falls. Perfect place to watch salmon run in the waterfalls , especially during November season.

Surreal waterfall it was a mesmerizing 😍view. There is a tunnel that needs to be crossed to reach this waterfall and roughly a walk of 150-200 meters from the tunnel to the waterfall. Wheelchair people are not advisable as well as pregnant women. Must visit place in greater Victoria region. Check the forecast before heading as at time won't find the parking spot and sitting facilities in picnic area.
Ankit Shrivastava — Google review
Just off the Malahat highway, unbelievable old growth forest engulfs you as soon as you get out of your vehicle and on to the paths. You can picture Frodo and Sam giggling uncontrollably sitting on a moss covered log happily partaking the Islands best “pipe weed” from one of the many fantastic Cannabis stores . Very popular all year round with photographers and day hikers . Havnt gone to the falls yet but that is next.

This park is a must-visit for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Its lush, rainforest-like trails are home to ancient Douglas firs and red cedars, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere. The park's star attraction, Goldstream River, is famous for its annual salmon run, where one can witness hundreds of salmon making their upstream journey. The park also offers a variety of hiking trails, ranging from easy walks to more challenging hikes like the Mount Finlayson Trail, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
Morgan Gillespie — Google review
The highlight of the park is undoubtedly the Goldstream River, where each fall, visitors are treated to the spectacular sight of salmon spawning. The park's network of well-maintained trails, including the popular Goldstream Falls Trail, caters to hikers of all levels, offering breathtaking views and tranquil spots.

Experience the ultimate thrill at BoulderHouse, a cutting-edge indoor climbing gym in Langford. As the largest facility of its kind on Vancouver Island, it promises an exhilarating adventure for everyone. Conveniently located just a short drive from Langford, this state-of-the-art two-story venue boasts an impressive 150-foot main wall. If you're looking to challenge yourself or train diligently, there's a dedicated area specifically designed for that purpose.
I have been climbing at Boulder house for over a year now, and I am always very happy with my time there. The staff are all awesome as well as other climbers, making the vibes great every time. Everyone is always super supportive, regardless of your experience, ability, or anything else. The setting schedule is great, allowing climbers of all levels to always have something new to climb, despite the gyms smaller size. If you're an experienced climber, there are some good, hard problems here. If you're new to climbing, people are welcoming, and there are plenty of climbs for you to start on. Come check it out.

Interesting climbs & fairly priced. It is a smaller gym than I am used too and gets pretty crowded but overall very fun. People brought their dogs in and they were so cute!

First time visiting and the staff were very nice and welcoming. Lower level was the bouldering area, middle level was the workout area and top floor is for kids. Great hold selection, fun problems but workout area was a little underwhelming.
Nick Tran — Google review
Great bouldering gym. Clean, friendly staff, well set problems. Their only rental chalk is liquid chalk, but they allow (and sell) powdered chalk. Grading is not font or v-grades, just arbitrary colours. Hop on the wall & you'll figure out what colour your working on and what colour is definitely a project. Their setting seems on the more "compy" rather than "outdoors" style, if you know what I mean that might help you find the type of problems you feel like doing. I didn't check out the training area, soi have no idea how it is.
Grant Culham — Google review
Offering an exhilarating and diverse array of bouldering challenges, this gym scores a solid 4 out of 5 for its vibrant community and quality routes, although room for improvement remains in facility amenities.
Aidan Eccleston — Google review
Had a brief intro by the staff and we quickly got a hang of it. Clean restrooms and the climbing area is quite spacious. They give free chalk for first timers, after that you have to rent/pay for it. They ask for vaccine passport. Second time climbing, and only realizing we’re supposed to use color codes not all colors at once 😂. It was a good workout. Nice sport spot for when it rains. Free and ample parking too.

My son and I dropped in to check it out. The staff were brilliant taking the time to explain and show the venue. Staff even spent a few minutes instructing my son on the kids climbing section. A great place very clean and well laid out. The staff made the adventure even better. Highly recommend

Super awesome climbing gym, I have been going to the in town one for awhile now and I found this gym had a larger range of overhang to various slope grades which were fun and unique compared to the smaller selection of overhang the other location has. This does mean less slab stuff but overall super fun sets. It felt like most of the climbs were very dynamic moved based rather than technical which is very fun to a degree

An impressive-looking place. I usually don't enjoy ski/golf resort hotels built around planned communities, but was treated so well by staff at the resort and had such a nice room I had to give 5 stars. The clay court tennis bubble was cool, and wished I had stayed another day to get a game in. Next time!

Amazing location, incredible views and great rooms. All staff tried their best to provide great service but hotel lobby bar was slow and even on the long weekend close the kitchen before 9pm. Food was decent. Golf course was fun with great views. There is no pool unless you spend $45/day. The hot tub on site is only a warm tub and very small.

Westin Bear Mountain is undoubtedly the best property on the island. You're welcomed by amazing staff and a beautiful lobby. We had some issues with ac in one of the rooms. Staff was very quick to accommodate and switch us to another room. Both rooms had a very nice view of the golf course. The hotel has a restaurant with a nice course view.
Lovedeep Kaler — Google review
We loved our Bear Mountain mini vacation. The staff was friendly and genuine. The Spa treatments were the best I’ve ever experienced (facial and massage). The restaurant has an incredible ambiance that overlooks the golf course. The food was delicious and plated beautifully. I think the only reason I wouldn’t give it 5/5 was you don’t have access the pool like you did before. We used the mineral pool but it’s essentially a warm large hot tub. It was unfortunately in dire need of maintenance and refurbishment. We did get passes to the YMCA at no charge which was a lovely touch but it’s nice to have a pool on site for guests to use. We loved our experience overall as a family and will be back.

I booked 2 nights here to stay with my husband and our 2 children. We booked here because of the 4 star rating and wanting to get away for a weekend to have a nice little vacation. The staff were friendly, and overall our experience wasn’t terrible but there were a lot of things that were disappointing. Our room keys stopped working 3x. My husband and I both got stuck in the elevator (twice at separate times.) The hotel also charges $25/day for parking which seems odd when already spending so much to stay at the hotel. I was also surprised to see that the only continental breakfast is $20 when most hotels have a complementary breakfast. I went down to the restaurant and ordered some food which was delicious and the server was very friendly and kind. We also booked a deluxe suite with 2 queen beds and have a hard time believing that those beds are actually queen sized. The room said it came with robes which weren’t there so we had to ask for them to be sent up. The A/C also didn’t seem to work. The room was auto set to 74 so we turned it down but it never seemed to change the room temp so we had the window open overnight. Overall not a terrible experience, but not the experience we had hoped for during a 4 star hotel stay with the price tag attached.

We came for a spa afternoon and were amazed! The restaurant staff were friendly and accommodatable. A special shout out to Alex & Chloe for making our day memorable. The spa was calming with all of the features. Fabulous smelling, healthy snacks, water and specialty teas! The locker room/change room was clean and easy to navigate. The outdoor pool was very warm and was a nice touch with the cool air. Kaylee gave a wonderful pedicure and parrifin treatment. Make sure you go!

Very reasonably priced hotel with great views, clean rooms and lovely amenities. Friendly customer service and the rooms are well maintained. We stay here frequently. On-site restaurant is overpriced for what you get, however Jacks restaurant just across the parking lot has great food with great prices

The Westin Bear Mountain is a beautiful pet-friendly resort just northwest of Victoria. It is nestled away in a very quiet neighbourhood with lots of wildlife! The rooms were very clean and the staff are very friendly. The balconies are also very big! Something to be aware of is that most rooms have adjoining doors, so sound may travel which can be a problem for some guests if the neighbouring room has a pet. Parking is $25/day and you have the option to pay $5/day for valet service. I would recommend this place to anyone with a vehicle and to anyone who is looking to stay out of downtown.
Justin Wong — Google review
First let me say I understand things happen that are out of our control so I try to give grace as much as possible. My husband and I stayed at this location for 4 nights but we only had one day that we could sleep in and enjoy the hotel. Very early on our “sleep in” day a fire alarm is going on and off. Then it starts making this loud buzzing noise. So we call front desk and they tell us 5-10 minutes and they will be done. Disappointing but fine. NOPE 10, 20, 30 minutes go by still happening. Only now we hear people talking through the intercom, the loud buzz and every now and then to add insult to injury the actual fire alarm. We finally just surrender and get up early to leave. We tell the front desk about our experience, how utterly exhausted we are, and that we would have chosen a different hotel had we known about the alarm. What do they offer us to make it right you ask? NOTHING!! The fire alarm, buzzing, & intercom chatting was just too much and took away from our only day to relax while in Victoria. The sad thing is this really is a beautiful hotel but for me I’ll never stay again simply because no one cared to make it right for us.
Natasha Ben 502 — Google review
Great view and beautiful location. However there wasn't enough staff. Most services were not available, valet, amenities, housekeeping, and others. There was no one in the lobby to receive us when we arrived. We had to figure out where the carts for luggage were, no one really welcomed us. Room keeping is not available. To get your room cleaned and sheets and towels replaced you have to book in advance a single time slot, otherwise they will simply not do it. The room did not have hygiene supplies like cottons, tooth paste and others. They advertise a jacuzzi, patio and fire pits but non of it is available. The jacuzzi is only available if you purchase services from the Spa and a simple massage starts from $175. If not, you won't have access to the advertised patio and amenities. Not a good experience. But the view and the room balcony is simply amazing! (golf course view) The room was very spacious!

I'm a frequent traveler and have stayed in many 3 and 4 star Marriott properties for both business and pleasure. Property is located in a pretty resort community, the drive up and pretty with some nice views. PROS: 1. room and balcony size. I got a deluxe double queen with resort view. See video posted. 2. Amenities in room ( microwave and fridge - although both appliances could use upgrading, they were quite noisy) 3. Beautiful bar and restaurant 4. Nice views (but nothing too spectacular). 5. Service and front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. 6. Comfortable bedding and pillows. CONS: 1. Self parking fee of $25/night is ridiculous. $10 or less would he considered reasonable considering the space. 2. TV - cannot stream Prime, Netflix etc., unlike most Marriott properties. Ridiculous $ charges for on demand. Limited TV channels. Not ideal for longer stays. 3. Room furniture is a bit dated. The cushions on the desk chair sinks in making it impossible to work on the desk. The chairs upholstery is ripped and frayed on the side. One of the queen beds squeeked while getting on and off the bed every time. Definitely not 4 star quality. 4. Extra charges for everything, even the pool. Prices, in general, are high for food and drinks. Room serive charges/gratutities are pretty high. Overall, I'd rate this as 3 stars or less. Not a good value for money spent.
Taz C — Google review
First time stay in this hotel and we are very satisfied. The only thing which we feel upset is we didn’t get room upgrade on check in. But instead they waived our parking fee which is better than nothing. Hotel is located on top of mountain near a golf course. Lots of activities you can do around the hotel. Hotel provide EV charging station and one Tesla destination charger.
Zhaohan Xu — Google review
Be aware, the hotel pipes Thierry signature scent throughout the hotel and into the rooms if you are sensitive to perfumes, etc. as I am, this is a concern. We were able to continue our stay by turning off the room heating/air-conditioning system and opening the patio doors all say and night. This would not be possible during winter months.

We were spoiled on our 12th anniversary and got to stay the evening at the Bear Mountain resort. We stayed in a beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the golf course. The room was large and spacious. The room had 2 bathrooms, king-size bed, full kitchen, bath, shower and a large patio. We were spoiled with a personalized note and a delicious charcuterie board upon arrival. When we explored the hotel, the lobby had so many beautiful art pieces it felt like a gallery! We also enjoyed the hot tub and ate at Callisto for breakfast. We will definitely be returning and had the best time at this hotel. I highly recommend staying here!

Stayed for a weekend in February this year, the hotel is beautiful and the staff are all so friendly! We had dinner and Brunch at the restaurant and the food was delicious, kudos to the chefs! We didn't have the chance to golf while we were there so we will be back soon!
Nicholas Como — Google review
I would highly recommend this place. The views are awesome, rooms were nice, staff was friendly. The only complaint we had was the noise in the rooms from the hall and the adjacent room was very noticeable. This is nothing some proper door seals couldn’t fix (you could see light all around the door when it was closed). So with a minor update this place would be outstanding.
Jeff Fimrite — Google review
In my opinion, a five star rating is too little. I would recommend this resort to anyone coming from out of town or country. Not only are the resort grounds top notch, but the service is what makes it! I especially enjoyed my experience at Callisto restaurant where meals are prepared to perfection, and my server Hali (like hailey) gave the best service I’ve had in Victoria. Thank you to chef for the outstanding cuisine.
Holly Graham — Google review
Wife and I have visited twice this year, once in the summer and once in late fall. Overall, it's a great resort community. The in-house restaurant is great, absolutely to die for latte's. However, both times our rooms have been below par. Summer visit had us trying to change rooms due to the filth. The room they had us switching to was less desirable, much smaller and less comfy. So, we opted to not switch and clean our own bathrooms and kitchen, (happy anniversary?). The most recent visit was alright. The bathroom again wasn't completely clean with foreign objects under the bed and under the bathroom vanity, (air soft pellets, used and unopened hardened ketchup packets, with thick layers of dust, (so it's been missed a lot when cleaning), plug in bathroom didn't work and the breaker reset was popping out of it broken. The shower door was falling off and the king bed was similar to a boy scouts camp cot, (first time we stayed the bed in our room was amazing, and only 5 rooms down the hall). We will be back, but hopefully the old addage, "3rd times a charm" holds true.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bear Mountain Westin Hotel in Langford, and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect, from the stunning surroundings to the impeccable service, making it impossible for me to give anything less than a five-star review. The hotel itself is nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of Bear Mountain, providing awe-inspiring views that truly take your breath away. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The attention to detail and the level of care they showed throughout my stay was truly exceptional, making me feel like a valued guest the entire time. The rooms at the Bear Mountain Westin Hotel were nothing short of luxurious. Impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, they provided the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the area. The comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The hotel's location is also worth mentioning. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes and endless outdoor activities, Bear Mountain Westin Hotel offers an ideal escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Whether it's hiking through trails, playing a round of golf, or simply enjoying a leisurely walk, there is something for everyone at this stunning destination. To top it all off, the Bear Mountain Westin Hotel boasts incredible amenities, including a relaxing spa, fitness center, and swimming pool. These facilities added an extra layer of luxury and relaxation to my stay, enhancing my overall experience. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Bear Mountain Westin Hotel enough. The combination of exquisite accommodations, impeccable service, breathtaking scenery, and an array of amenities make it a standout choice for anyone visiting Victoria. My stay was nothing short of exceptional, and I am already looking forward to returning in the future. Note:It would b better if they have smart TV in the room.

A group of 8 friends dined last night in the dining room with the $55.00 menu. Now $55.00 is not a lot of money but you’d expect it to be made with quality. The greens were mashed like baby food and looking very like algae on rocks. Croton’s were rock hard .it was not good. Next coarse was the short rib and it was good but the brocollini was burnt on one side and cold so we’re the potatoes . I won’t go into the dessert .lets just leave that.

Nice place to walk around, go boating and picnic. Long boardwalk thru marsh Lots of wildlife to look at Worth a visit ...

Nice walk around the lake. All pretty level and if you want to to can extend it and follow some of the local roads to do one big loop. Only bit of caution is that trail can flood on the east side.
Victor G — Google review
Great spot to take a dip on hot summer days / evenings. Water is deep, cool, & refreshing. There is a large dock where people can sit with their lawn chairs & relax / keep their belongings nearby. Perfect area to practice swimming, or float around. There are also picnic tables nearby (along the shoreline), surrounded by big trees for shade. Walking through the forest you're sure to see lots of small lizards, a variety of birds, frogs, and turtles! Very family friendly spot, with ample parking close by.

Beautiful natural lake. I hope on- going development in this area doesn't destroy the beauty and wreck the habitat for wildlife.

Great for kayaking and fishing!
Chad Keogh — Google review
It has little beaches and rest areas around the lake; I love how peaceful it is. During summertime, the water is a bit warmer, and it has easy trails suitable for all families. Please pay attention to bikes on the path and mud when it is rainy. Do not miss the playground area, it has a water park too, is small, but close to the beach to watch your little ones.

Totchos Restaurant, located in Langford, offers a unique dining experience with its loaded tater tots, hand-helds like fancy tacos, snacks, and soft-serve ice cream. The restaurant boasts a spacious 1,100 square feet area and is owned by a local resident. Customers rave about the generous portions and flavorful dishes such as Taco Totchos and Bahn Mi. The friendly service adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the place.
I got the vegan taco tot and it was so delicious. I have a dairy allergy and was so happy to hear they had vegan cheese options. The portions are huge, service was quick and we loved the atmosphere. We will be back!
Briana R — Google review
I tried this place by chance and I had the banh mi (a box filled with potato croquettes, shredded chicken, julienned vegetables and an excellent creamy jalapeno sauce), it was very good and very good served. It’s cheap too. A great discovery in fast food. The interior is very childish, there was a game console on each table and lots of children everywhere.

Bring your kids and your husband! 2 for 1 Tuesdays, and gluten free as well as vegan options. We LOVE TATCHOS!!!!
Rose Bombshell — Google review
This restaurant is gas! Had the breakfast tot, it might just be the finest concoction I have ever seen, smelled and most importantly: Tasted. The Mexican cheesecake is a great way to end off the meal. Highly recommend will definitely come back again to support this fine establishment.

Delicious food at a great value! Tuesday was 2 for 1! Ive never tasted anything like it, reminded me of street food/food truck style food (and value) with a relaxed and comfortable dining room. The video games at the table was a fun touch!
Ted CasioCalculatorWatch — Google review
Just tried Totchos for the first time today and knew I had to give a review right away. Wow! The portions are huge (and heavy). I tried the Taco Totchos while my friend had the Bahn Mi. Both were phenomenal and we are very full. The service was excellent, the owner (I assume) was very warm, friendly and welcoming and each table has its own Nintendo! We even saw a happy customer in passing when we arrived who was quick to say “it’s REALLY good”. She was right. 10/10 would visit again.

Went for the first time and it was okay. Food was quick , reasonably priced but the table was dirty when we were seated. No kids with us but the other tables were enjoying the games . Suggest easy access to a water cooler

What a fun new addition to the Westshore! The tots are super fresh, and very tasty! A step up from Taco Bell! Good sized portions, and fresh, flavourful toppings! Decent sized sitting area, but what adds to that is the old school video game terminals at every table!! SO. MUCH. FUN. You definitely have to come try this place out! Tasty and a lot of fun!!

Got the dinner for four for takeout. Super good. Everything was delicious and even after feeding my family of four, we still have leftovers. The bag was actually hard to carry out to the car because there was so much food in there. Had salad rolls with beef, chicken curry, stir fry noodles and spring rolls. Everything was fantastic, especially for the price. All in with tax and tip it was $83.00. Not super cheap but I’ve paid a lot more to be dissatisfied and don’t have lunch for the next day. Would highly recommend.

This is a third time I visited It will be the last time. I get the salad rolls while I'm shopping because they're gluten free and dairy free. I sit at a table It's great they bring a real fork and knife instead of dealing with one small plastic spoon. This time I discovered a small hair (maybe an eyebrow hair maybe an eyelash maybe 🤔) in my food when I cut into the second spring roll. I opened the rest of the spring roll and didn't see anything I ate the shrimp. As I was leaving I asked if I could show them what I had found in the person I spoke to laughed and said that your hair! I said no it's not. They said load loudly no it's your hair. At that point I delivered an expletive. So frustrating I was being very quiet I didn't want anything in return and maybe paying very loud. So I'll leave you with that.

I found this place about 3 months ago or so. I first went in after running a few errands and the staff was super kind and friendly. The staff tries to know you on a personal level and truly connects to you. Today I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken with Fried Wontons; this was a great meal. After reading a few of these reviews I was shocked with the amount of negative comments about this place. Disregard these false claims and just go in for a meal. It’s delicious trust me.

This place could use some help making better Vietnamese cuisine. The noodles were not Asian style and the protein was so greasy. The egg rolls on the other hand here great but I’ll still to The Original Pho Vietnamese restaurant. Much better in taste and presentation. Sorry but I’m being honest.

What a great addition to the Westshore! The food was fresh and delicious. (My daughter must have said it at least 20 times during our meal...) Was hoping for more of a "restaurant" in this location, but it works! Staff was lovely, prices were very reasonable! If you have a Sulfate sensitivity, make sure to ask for no MSG, as they advised they do use a small amount in the food.
The Epic Lalondes — Google review
This is our best Vietnamese food place now, it is a north cuisine type so if you like the sweet Vietnamese food from the south then this will not be your place. Everything we tried to sar has been really good and my wife is Vietnamese so she is picky on food but love this one. I know you don’t expect that for a mall restaurant but give a try and I’m sure you will be surprised.
Eric Nadeau — Google review
Bright and Vibrant fresh crispy vegetables! I didn't expect veggies this good from a mall to go, and honestly I was very surprised! I wish however that there was spice levels as I had to add an entire container of chili oil. Will return, thank you for the delicious meal.

Kitchen Story is a Japanese and Korean restaurant located at the Westshore Town Centre. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with generous portions of delicious food, including Korean comfort dishes like fried chicken and barbecue. The seating arrangement is simple yet functional, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Customers have praised the excellent service, tasty food, and ample vegetarian options available. The tofu bowl is highly recommended for its value and variety. Overall, Kitchen Story provides a delightful dining experience with great food and attentive service.
Kitchen story staff and good are top notch. They have tons of veg options and accommodate adjustments for littles (like making a sushi roll simpler and smaller). Their lunch special is A++ - big and fresh. Everyone was super satisfied with the food - and the service was also top notch. Can’t wait to make this a regular spot.

Kitchen Story- what a lovely name and an equally lovely restaurant at the Westshore Town Centre. It's a Japanese and Korean restaurant that has a long yet easy-to-understand menu with descriptions. The food is amazing and the portions are large. Every penny is worth it. Loved the simple yet functional seating arrangement and super friendly staff. Has high chairs for kids as well. The 5-star rating is well deserved. 100% recommended.

Dbl deep fried korean style chicken was the memory maker. Unexpectedly, the miso soup and wonton soup were both on the spicy side which is not our personal preference. Excellent service I would say and the casual vibe atmosphere makes it welcoming. Reasonable price. 😊
Jeffrey Marquez — Google review
Wow! My first time here, I was blown away. Very flavourful miso, the beef bowl had real depth of flavour, and the sushi was probably some of the best I've found lately. Can't wait to come back and try more!

A hidden gem in this mall! I would say the place is great and clean, authentic korean food and if you are looking for something spicy, well you can find it here. Must try their Korean Fried Chicken. I like how they paint the place, the colour just make this place alive. Well done.
Mathius Permana — Google review
We ordered the chicken katsu dinner box + spicy pork dinner box. Good portions, good food, friendly service. Would recommend.
Christyna Shook — Google review
I enjoyed dining on this place. The services were excellent and friendly. The food was really-really good and tasty. Sushi was good, both in portions and size, though I don’t recommend eating the sushi with wild rice. Korean chicken was excellent in taste…smooth and crunchy without overpowering your taste bud. Parking is easy since it’s located inside the mall. Highly recommended.

Artigiano Westshore is a full-service cafe located in a 1,400 square feet space across from Fairway Market. They offer an extensive selection of coffees, teas, sandwiches, wraps, and baked goods. Customers have praised their flat white and cardamom latte as some of the best they've had. The cafe provides a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff and local art decorations. While some find it slightly overpriced, many appreciate the inviting ambiance for relaxing or working.
Best coffee I've had in a long time! Latte was to die for! Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Beautifully decorated with local art. Staff very friendly. My new monday coffee spot.

We had their Cardamom Latte and Mocha and it was just awesome. Nice to have a place where you can come sit, relax and work for a bit. Love the atmosphere and the service. A bit overpriced, but the quality is great.
Venkatraman Kumar — Google review
Great coffee, their flat white is amazing, one of the best Ive had! However, they should update their hours of operation as I came in early (8:15am) to grab a coffee and they were still closed, despite their hours saying open at 7, they were not open. So I was sad I couldn’t get my coffee fix in. They would do so good if opened earlier as lots of ppl are in the mall earlier for lifelabs and groceries. Anyways! Will go again to this cute little spot, good alternative to SB.
Ember Millott — Google review
Was really looking forward to trying this place out this morning and drove across town to do so. They are closed for a private function. Coffee smells good but I will have to go elsewhere. Checked the website to see if they have any notice about hours or closures- they may wish to add something like this so they can notify general public that may wish to try to support their business in the future.

Delicious London Fog that I just got from this cute coffee shop. Friendly employee, environment located in the mall. I'll definitely back to try other drinks.
Jordyn Maher — Google review
I really want to like this coffee shop. It’s bright and pretty, and should be a nice change from the chain coffee shops. But…the service is awful and the food is borderline stale. The barista could barely muster up the energy to serve customers. She burned my croissant into a lump of coal and clearly didn’t care. Because they have such limited food available, I had to get a different croissant. I think other stores would have sold it in their day old section.
Jilly Le — Google review
This is quite possibly the best cup of coffee that I’ve had a Vancouver Island! Just found my new coffee spot. I highly recommend this place it’s a hidden gem.
Jonathan Long — Google review
During my first (and what will be my last) visit, I was barely able to get past a brief sip of their 'Daily House Drip', which tasted like luke warm wet cardboard. In a market that's saturated with coffee shops, initial impressions count if you want repeat business. In my case, they totally blew it.

900 Degrees Wood-Fired Pizzeria is a contemporary eatery that serves a variety of Neapolitan-style pizzas and appetizers. They have patio seating available for customers to enjoy their meals. The pizzeria also offers a gluten-free menu upon request and provides the option for online reservations or phone bookings. Takeout orders can be placed and picked up at their location on Millstream Avenue.
The best pizza I ever had. I was in Italy few years ago but I did not have this good pizza. Better pizza here than in Italy!! My bf and I really enjoyed dinner tonight. Very friendly service and food came really quick.
Ellie Yun — Google review
They are using traditional way to smoke the pizza in a golden huge oven. Unbeatable smell and taste with exceptional service. A minor downside is the Thin-crust pizza was not crispy crispy. But overall we had good food, good service, good time there.
Yoshiko C. — Google review
Such great Neapolitan style pizza - it rivals the options in Vancouver and Calgary. We came here for lunch and the service was friendly and welcoming. The vibe was unassuming and I had no idea the delicious meal we were in for. We all had pizza (2 pepperonis, an all meat and a mushroom white sauce pizza). All were cooked well and were reasonably priced . They had a great dessert selection, but unfortunately I was too full to try it- will make sure I leave room next time. Would definitely come back and I have it on the list for our next visit,

I tried this 900 Degrees Wood Fire Pizzeria, and let me tell you, it was a total blast. The place had a really nice vibe, and you could tell they took hygiene seriously. It felt clean and cozy, which made it a great spot for chowing down on some seriously good eats. Now, let's get to the star of the show—the pizza. I went for the classic pepperoni, and man, it was out of this world. The crust had the perfect combo of crispy and chewy, and that wood fire cooking gave it this amazing smoky flavor that just took it to another level. The pepperoni was piled on generously, bringing that awesome kick of spiciness that made every bite a flavor explosion. Seriously, I've had my fair share of pepperoni pizzas, and this one definitely ranks up there as one of the best. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the waitstaff. These folks were on point! They were super friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right. Plus, I have to admit, they were easy on the eyes, which didn't hurt either. It's always nice to be greeted with a warm smile and great service. All in all, I can't recommend 900 Degrees Wood Fire Pizzeria enough. The atmosphere is inviting, the pepperoni pizza is top-notch, and the waitstaff is a real treat. So, if you're in the mood for some seriously delicious pizza and a great dining experience, you gotta check this place out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Rae Wong — Google review
Ive been coming here for years and I have yet to have a bad experience. The greeters/servers always make it a welcoming atmosphere. The service is quick which adds to the great dining experience. They have a good variety of pizzas, I really enjoy/recommend the Nona or Quatro Fromagio. Pizzas come with a traditional thin crust but can opt for a thicker crust at an additional cost. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure to leave room for their dessert menu because they have a good selection and you’re not going to regret it! The location itself has a nice dining area and they are currently following the Covid guidelines by verifying for vaccine passports and mask wearing for those travelling in and out and workers. Thanks for the great dining experience!

Great cozy restaurant with very interesting pizza combinations. We loved the caesar salad which was enough to share for two! The pizza dough was delicious and cooked perfectly. We tried the New York-style Capricciosa. Please note that the online take-out menu shares pictures of the cooked pizzas if you are reluctant to rely on your imagination for what you will be served. Delicious!
Randal B — Google review
Excellent wood-fired pizzas. We started with the Scorched Tomatoe appy that had the tastiest pesto and garlic bread. Then we shared a thin crust pizza (their specialty style) Rossa. The crust, sauce, and fresh toppings were perfect. Great service. Great lunch out.
Jessica Cochran — Google review
The New York crust is just perfect in my opinion. The thin crust is slightly blackened in the wood oven to a slight crisp. Moist and chewy on the inside smothered in the tomato sauce. The tomato sauce is extremely high quality and one of the best I've ever had! Tastes like concentrated caramelized cherry tomatoes with a nice tangy flavour. The experience has been great every time I've been here.
Ali Eighani — Google review
Great service staff here and great wood fired pizza on the thin crust style (but you can also choose New York style which means it's bigger). There is also chili oil and red pepper flakes provided, which also gave strong flavours not light. Each pizza is on the higher end of staring at $20s but it comes with good quality toppings, with amazing flavour with each style of pizza . You can't do half and half here. There's also a variety of white vs red pizzas. Something for everyone. A lot of seating available here.
CY Siu — Google review
Love their pizzas, the red sauce and white sauce thin crust is very delicious and unique. Wish they had an all organic 100% pizza section not just the organic tomato sauce, but I’m happy and love the fact that their meat is Canadian farm raised. Do not want to be putting harmful toxic sad depressed painful animal energy into our divine bodies.
Sheelin David — Google review
These pizzas are delicious, it was hard to choose which option to order as they all sound so amazing. We chose the Genovese, New York style, and a vegetarian option. I also ordered dessert which was cheesecake, and honestly who doesn't love cheesecake. The star deduction was for service, they were not attentive and we ended up waiting a long while for a menu, which we asked for at the beginning, but she forgot. This didn't take away from the recommendation, I truly enjoyed my meal. Thank you for the delicious pizza, we will return. Update, response to owner: My apologies for the confusion, we did not seat ourselves. The menu I requested was a dessert menu.
Stephanie Bissonette — Google review
This place is a pizza paradise! They've got loads of pizza choices with all kinds of yummy toppings and cheeses. The pizzas are not only super tasty but just right in how they're cooked. The staff is really friendly and helps you pick the perfect drink to go with your pizza – always spot-on suggestions. And here's a cool thing – there's plenty of free parking, so no stress about finding a spot for your car. It's a family-friendly spot too, welcoming for kids and grown-ups. Whether you're a big pizza fan or just looking for a great meal, this place has awesome flavors, friendly service, and the added bonus of easy parking. I highly recommend it for a tasty and hassle-free dining experience that will leave you happy and satisfied!

Food was very good, both of us had pizza. I loved mine but my friend thought hers was a little dry but otherwise liked it. Great place if you’re looking for authentic pizza. Service was also quite good, the server was attentive and friendly. The ambiance is nice and relaxing, warm and inviting are the words I’d use. Overall great dinner experience and I will be returning and recommending.

I recently dined at 900 Pizza in Langford, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The pizza and salad I ordered were top-notch. The pizza had a perfect crust, and the fresh ingredients were bursting with flavor. The salad was crisp and well-prepared. What really stood out was the excellent service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive impression. I’m looking forward to returning to 900 Pizza for another satisfying meal.
