Natural History Museums
The Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum is a great place to explore the history and culture of Chhattisgarh, featuring anthropological and natural history artifacts as well as art such as pottery and sculptures. The collections of ancient stone sculpture are particularly impressive, offering glimpses into the state's past. While some areas could be better utilized on the second floor, overall the museum is well-managed and clean. Visitors can also enjoy traditional food at nearby Gadh Kaleva.
Well managed and cleaned. Best place to know about the culture n history of Chhattisgarh. They have ancient stones n sculptures there. Must visit place.

Enjoyed some me time at this restoration site and enjoyed the environment. The premise is squeaky clean...nothing like from 1875 when it was erected! Also nice to see people actually interested because this place has some superb artifacts with narratives that compliment the collection.A mix of mythology and history. Also met someone from the archeology department of the museum who was acting as a guide to a visitor...Private tours are organised for key visits.Would recommend spending time at the tribal art floor which is like a studio and will attract art lovers for sure...has a very vibrant feel. The art gallery alongside is only open for specific exhibition which is hosted. Photography is allowed in the museum but video is prohibited. They also have a collection of wild animals which have been preserved using chemicals. Overall a nice experience only if you are a history and art lover otherwise you might be bored...

Amazing place in the heart of the city. The museum was constructed in 1875 by Mahant Ghasidas the erstwhile ruler of Nandgaon Princely State. Is is among the oldest museumsin India. The place has pictures of all ancient temples in Chhattisgarh along with a magnificent picture of the Freedom Fighters of our state in the ground floor. Then there are a number of inscriptions and artefacts recovered from mining and explorations in ancient sites like Sirpur, Malhar, Jabalpur etc. There is also a namesake collection of weapons of traditional warfare. The topmost floor houses many cabinets and lifelike models displaying the rich tribal culture of Chhattisgarh. This place is a must visit site for CGPSC Aspirants. And yes the entry fee is just ₹5 pax there are no extra charges for clicking pictures with your phone but for carrying a camera you have to pay another ₹20 or so.

In the first floor there is a nature gallery, arms gallery, painting gallery and tribal culture gallery in the second floor. It has also displayed the Chhattisgarh's Indigenous Culture and Traditions very well - Bastar Art , Chhattisgarh's Musical Instruments, etc. One could easily spend 3-4 hours exploring the whole place and the ticket is only 5₹.

Better place to visit than Jungle Safari. I love this place. I've many memories with this place. It is very sad that very few animals are kept here. The govt shoult take a initiative action to make it alive in between the people. It's now only for the small picnic or for kids play. Atleast the govt should make this place interesting like the Bada Talab and make it more interseting.

One of the oldest restaurant of Raipur city which has been liked by all since ages. The food quality was good for some items and average for some. The prices were at par with any hotel of such standard. The service was delayed in between and roties were served late while repeating. The staff was well behaved and attentive. Cafe Junoon, which opened in 2015, has become a popular hangout spot for young individuals in Raipur. One possible reason for its appeal is the unique food menu that combines South Indian and Mexican cuisine. This vegetarian restaurant offers reasonably priced dishes and is located in New Rajendra Nagar. The ambience of the cafe is welcoming with a warm and pleasant decor, accompanied by background music.

Cafe junoon serves one of the best quality and tasty foods in raipur. Their spicy vada pav, pav bhaji and range of fusion dosas are amazing! I ordered Genie Dosa and Vada Pav. The food taste was just amazing, out of the world. Interior was below average but the place is hygienic. Staff's behaviour is kind but the owner (who also makes the dishes) was very arrogant. Both brother and sister are very proudy and arrogant they should learn to respect customer as they are working for the customer. It was my first and last time visit in this so called over hyped cafe in raipur instead I would suggest to visit Nukkad cafe and co working which is just few metres where you will find very kind staffs and tasty food as well. Not recommended just because the owner's behaviour

Tasted the best mocktail in my life here. Do try grape grenadine with cherry at its bottom which is aged for 5 years and lota-bar-lota with seven layers of exquisite berries. Located in New Rajendra Nagar, this is one of the best cafe in the city. Ambience is nice and warm. Simple and nice decor. All accompanied by some music in the background. The place is very tidy and the quality of their food is unmatched. They offer quite some varities in their menu. It is good and tastes great. The sitting is very limited, but the way cafe operates is amazing. Usually crowded during evening. Pricing is nominally high and staff is really good. I would highly recommend visiting this place for some good food and spending time with friends or family time.

If you are looking only food quality then you must go but if you need food with comfort/ambiance then try another. My detailed observations are : pros : good quality food . Good service cons : a little bit costly. A very small place in the building passage . The kitchen is at a sitting place where you will easily enjoy the noise of kitchen equipment. Cutlery is average and not as per the price they charged. Long waiting time . Overall at five star price they provide five star food at local dhaba infrastructure . The management should look into infrastructure issue

Most creative café in Raipur, a must go while you're here. The presentation and variety of food is really great, virgin fruit sangria is a must try. They'll veganize almost anything, so please request and customize your order. :) Great food, decent ambience and great service. Update: I have now become a regular here which made me realize the actual reason for keeping the name junoon. It's because they make and serve food with such junoon (passion) that the consumer is bound to love it! The attention to detail and zest is really appreciated. Keep it up! They have started keeping vegan products on the counter for sale which is cherry on the cake!

The food quality here is good and also it tastes good but the prices are quite high enough for often visiting. They maintain hygiene in cooking but the chillies and sauces at their tables must be checked before use but visually and texture wise! The quantity of the food served is great and they all taste delicious specially honey chilli potatoes, simple veg dim sums were really very simple so they were just very plain. The drinks they serve are really refreshing as well as very flavorful. Rice is just as the menu speaks perfectly cooked and steamed. One will never return half emptied stomach from this place. Every thing from the dim sums dumplings to the sizzlers and the dessert just fits perfectly with the taste buds from spices to sweetness and boosting fresh flavors. To add to it the plating and serving is just beautiful. They have variations of colours on the plate which is very appealing to the eye. Overall all the services are good. The staff is nice, friendly and helpful. One more good thing about them is that they do not make their customers wait for much time, but if in any case they do.. the taste of the dish is worth waiting! They also offer parcels and take aways and are available in zomato as well.

Ordered two CHICKEN HAKKA NODDLES via zomato. The packaging and quantity(including the vegetables) was excellent. Now the reason for 2 star. The vegetables were burnt that it became black. Next, the chicken pieces didn't feel fresh and were very hard. From next time, I may not order from here.

I was expecting decent food and service but I was disappointed. We went out to eat to celebrate my wife's birthday. We ordered thai curry, noodle and fried rice, chilli paneer. Noodles were overcooked and. Thai curry was really bad, it did not taste like thai at all :). Fried rice was not good too. Staff were rude and there was no smile at all. I wanted to check if they can do anything for birthday, the manager bluntly said no and asked me to buy ice cream. I wanted to just check if they can bring dessert at the end. I would never to go to this place again.

South Indian restaurant
Manju Mamta is a veg restaurant in Raipur that serves a variety of cuisines including South-Indian, North-Indian, and Fast Food. They have a wide range of delicious options like Masala Dosa, Pav Bhaji, and Chhole Bhature. The Chinese dishes are not recommended, but the traditional ones are worth trying. The restaurant is often crowded due to its popularity and it may take some time to get a table.
Do i need to say anything about this restaurant. Dosa and chhole bhature is amazing. Pav bhajee is also good. One of the oldest restaurant of Raipur. I guess it was opened in early 70's and till now still it has maintained its charm.

In love with Manju Mamta since my childhood. Brings back all memories every time I enter. Have maintained their quality of food. Very fast service.

Always liked to dine-in there. The food is quite delicious. My personal favourite is classic Masala Dosa which i 100% recommend, and there are more great options too like Pav bhaji, Chhole Bhature. Will not recommend the Chinese options, but the traditional ones. The only catch is some food items are a little overpriced compared to their quantity.

A very nice and decent restaurant which is very famous for its tasty and mouth watering preparations. This is a pure veg food zone. Hot snacks are readily available. You can take away as well as dine in here. Its a cool place to spend some quality time along with friends and family. Kids love this place.

Lightning fast service. Service boys don't let you wait here. Quality food and taste is unique. All varieties of Indian snacks are available here. I love panipuri mostly. Inside you'll feel Indian Coffee house atmospheres, but at busy MG road this is a must go place.

Dosa- Quite Tasty but expensive for this amount ₹120. Rasmalai - Soft and Spongy delicious Deserve for ₹60. I think many of the menu food items are expensive.

Manju Mamta Restaurant provides an average dining experience with a mixed bag of highlights and drawbacks. The cold coffee served was refreshing, striking a balance between sweetness and bitterness. However, the chole bhature fell short of expectations. While the bhature were somewhat satisfying, the chole lacked the robust flavors expected in this classic dish. The ambiance is simple, suitable for a quick meal. Service was prompt, but the overall culinary experience left room for improvement. If you're in the vicinity and seeking a casual spot for a cold coffee fix, Manju Mamta might suffice, but don't expect culinary excellence.

One the finest places in and around MG Road. The restaurant offers variety of South Indian, Snacks, Pav Bhaji & Pulav, Chineeese, Pizza, Sandwiches and Jain options. This is a very good restaurant serving a variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes right from soup, starters, main course & dessert. The complex also houses a fine bakery. The food is good & tasty and so is quantity. To me, it appeared that quantity was enough to serve 03 to 04 people depending upon the number of dishes ordered and appetite. The dishes are generally spiced, and for non spicy food, there is very limited choice. However, one can request for the same. This is a family restaurant with a good ambience. Alcohol, cocktail and mocktails ares also available. One should visit for good quality of food. The restaurant may not be cheap. There is also open space for very large parties.

I will keep it short and sweet! Overall: A+ I am by no means a sushi connoisseur, but this was phenomenal sushi! The most memorable meal of the weekend. Every person that entered the building was greeted by a chorus . That was merely the tip of the iceberg for their high quality service. We were given complimentary edamame because our meal would be delayed, but they were still quicker than countless other restaurants. Service: A+ The fish was extremely fresh and they were generous with their avocado, very little filler was used. The UFO roll was a standout, the presentation and the combination of spicy and sweet flavors are a nice addition. A must try. Food: A+ The inside of the restaurant had gorgeous wooden tables/booths and gave a modern feel to the restaurant. The option to sit at the sushi bar is also available . The place is suitable for both families and for business meetings. Ambiance: A+ The restaurant is well maintained and clean, a must where raw fish is being consumed. Cleanliness: A+ Overall: A This meal was not a standout, but for a Ruby Tuesday type restaurant the expectations were not high. They are quick, attentive, and quick to correct their own mistakes.

Hotel Ambrosia offers delicious fare that is sure to satisfy the taste buds. There is room for improvement in terms of ambience. With some adjustments, Hotel Ambrosia has the potential to become not only a culinary destination but also a place where guests can enjoy a truly memorable dining experience.

Ambiance was nice with greenery and lighting and decor it was a nice place. But for food its taste and pricing it was disappointing as for normal plain chapati the price was 65rs and it was double according to service and quality as chapati was cold and thick. Even the for the taste of other food items it was disappointing according to price and even in just front of us some other customer was arguing over quantity of dal. And service was average. They also have there in house small bakery but they don’t have any great menu over there we only got a pineapple pastry and nothing may be due to other reasons but pastry was good.

We went to the back garden area. The staff was very friendly and food was served hot and fresh. They came at regular intervals to ask if we needed anything. The prices for items is on the upper side, but considering the ambiance, food, and staff, I'd say its well priced!!

Today was mt first visit to Ambrosia. Just loved the place. Very green - the adjacent lawn to the restaurant area is a treat to the eyes ! Ample parking space Super clean washrooms Very cordial staff They took a little longer for the sizzler.. which is okay.. because that means they made it fresh !! Taste of the food Very very nice !! PROPER SOCIAL DISTANCING protocols being followed. If you wish to have some snacks..( have not mentioned main course because I havent tasted it .. ) and donot wish to go to some congested dining areas.. this is a place you can try ! Good luck !!
