Great place for all, especially families. Lovely views, food and drinks and the pool is just gorgeous. Plenty of play areas for the little ones as well. Gets busy so recommend going early. My kids aged 5, 7 & 14 loved it 😁

Beautiful swimming pool and wading pool. The entire area has beautiful gardens, lush grass, seats, shade...superb! Well maintained amenities blocks. 2 cafes for lunch options. Paths link to playground, BBQ area and picnic tables. Gorgeous!!👍👍👍👌👌👌🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️🏊

A nice lagoon that has several lifeguards patrolling. Good big place for young and old to be there with different water levels and good sitting areas around the pool of you don't want to swim. Very family friendly, next to the beach.. if the beach doesn't look great for the day this is the next best alternative to let your little one swim around and play... definitely worth to come back here again.

Best place in Yeppoon fir a swim. Hot showers, cafe, 4 pools, kiddies pools, lounge chairs and shady palms to lay under. Highly recommended for fun day out on the water.
Indigo Child_68 — Google review
Yeppoon Lagoon is simply beautiful! The clear waters, palm-fringed shores, and fantastic amenities create a perfect spot to relax and have fun. Highly recommended for a great day out!
Zella Keiko Bawr — Google review
We came early to find a good spot to lounge. There is ample parking with a fee, as well as toilets and showers. A beautiful lagoon with a view completes the setting. A cafe across it if your hungry.
Rhealistic Adventures — Google review
One of the best reasons to visit yeppoon! Great to get into the water under summer heat. It's a huge sized pool with various depth and an island in the middle. Very nice shower facilities and two on site restaurants and kids playgrounds near by. The kids loved the place!
Wang Peter — Google review
Love Yeppoon, absolutely gorgeous place. My first visit, I spent an hour or so looking for Yeppoon Lagoon, thinking it was a natural lagoon! 😂😂 It’s actually a swimming pool right on the beach!! A fantastic place to swim with great views and atmosphere! Great for the whole family. Can’t recommend this place enough. I got up at 3am, travelled from Rockhampton just to get some beautiful sunrise pics taken from the pool area and the beach! 💛❤️
Linda Higgins — Google review
Very nice pool and modern facilities with a nice view of the beach. Many lifeguards available plus some loungers and grassy areas for chilling around the pool. The cafe and bar area is also super nice, plus there are some bbq spots near the skate part.
Alex Scott — Google review
A great place to take the family for a swim. Close parking is paid but free parking isn't far away. The cafe has good coffee icecream and chips. Bathrooms and change rooms are clean and big. The small kiddy play area is undercover and ramps in have hand rails for people with lower mobility. Life guards are patrolling to keep it safe.
Ryan “Thingsthatkeepmebusy” B — Google review
Excellent beach side lagoon pool, perfect place in Yeppoon to bring the family to cool off. There is also a cafe and public bathrooms as well for food and getting changed. A strong recommend from me!!!
Michael McRoberts — Google review
Very nice place for family and friends. Love the view as the pool (kids and adult) next to the beach. LOVE the breeze while looking after my kids.🤩
Richard Dano — Google review
Really nice and a very beautiful pool. Perfect postcard, congrats to the council for this investment. Kids seem to enjoy it. Must be a dream in the off-season. A bit too crowded in peak summer, but it is expected. Still very enjoyable. The choice of food is classic and limited. The Rock Health bar has been moved to the Rock cafe, but all the menu disappeared in the process, so you are stuck with the classic nuggets, chips, and burgers. Kind of disappointing as they still use the health bar to promote their business but cut the cost there. What is frustrating is that the owner uses the original spot of the health bar for storage. That could be an opportunity for more food choices, but obviously, they own or rent the full building, so they can eliminate competition by doing this. Not the best for the public...
Lexip Pixel — Google review
A great safe place to take the family for a swim. Also has a snack bar restaurant where you can grab food and drink if wanted. There is always 3 or 4 life guards on duty keeping an eye on all things in the water.
Mike Martin — Google review
Great pool! And completely free of charge. Very modern, nice view of the ocean. Many life guards on duty (4 when we went)
Thomas Bollen — Google review
Great place to refresh & the view is spectacular. Also has a skate park & kids playground. Don't forget to parking isn't free.
Toni Echeverria — Google review
Excellent beach front, resort-style pool. It’s definitely chilly in winter but if you’re after the view, then the cold won’t stop you. A bit disappointing that you can’t go in for a sunrise swim because it’s unpatrolled, as that would be a spectacular view from the pool. Amenities are great, kids would love it and it’s a great addition to the town of Yeppoon.

My wife and I walked in with my 82 year old mother and the waitress basically ignored us even while my wife was standing no more than 3 feet from her, looking at each other. He attitude was appalling when addressing us. We eventually found a place to sit but after looking at the menu with nothing under $35 we walked out. I do not recommend this business at all and advise anyone thinking of going there not to.
Roger Murfet — Google review
Plenty of places for the kids to play, wet or dry and lots of seating areas to have lunch also
jasmine Lewis — Google review
Great attraction, can get busy if you plan on getting a table to sit at. Live music in the background from the Ampitheatre. Make sure your kids wear footwear as mine stepped on a broken shell and drew blood.
Edward Cook — Google review
I took my 6 month old here, and he absolutely loved it, such a nice clean area to take your kids for a day out.
Dixie Bailey (Dr Eff) — Google review
It had just rained, 10 min downpour when we arrived, this place would turn it up on a sunny day Yeppoon has certainly grown since our last visit. Wow! We wish our trip could have been extended to stay longer, in hindsight, we say
Lana Mayo — Google review
Great play area, needs some maintenance though. The soft tiles on the kids shaded play section are worn and pretty gross. A tile resembling what Rockhampton has used at their Southside pool water play area would be more hygienic and appealing, something that can be tiled in a few colours would look great. There are also many fountains/jets that are not functional. Along with the water sprayers on the tiled arch ways. Some more regular cleaning of the bird poop off the eating areas and walkways would help freshn the area. It would also be nice to see another shade sale over the little fountain spurts nearby the climbing playground, mainly for protection from the midday sun. Also at the other end. Kids fry here. ☀️🏝
Soph — Google review
This is a great place for kids. Lot of climbing equipment, and a water park to play in. Across the road from Coffee, Fish & Chips and IceCream shops. Easy access to the beach. Lots of shade and tables. A long pathway along the beach front for scooters.
Rosey W — Google review
This place is absolutely amazing. Splash park for the kids including little paddling pools and a spider web climbing area, lots of picnic tables and bbqs and the most amazing fish and chips across the road (seagulls!) With ice cream to finish! Such a lovely family day out.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shell World in Yeppoon, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making my visit even more enjoyable. Shell World boasts an impressive collection of shells and marine artifacts, beautifully displayed for all to admire. Whether you're a shell enthusiast or simply appreciate nature's wonders, this place has something to offer to everyone. What truly stood out to me was the attention to detail in the exhibits. Each shell seemed to have its unique story, and I found myself learning fascinating facts about marine life during my visit. It's evident that the team at Shell World is passionate about what they do, and it reflects in the quality of their displays. Additionally, the gift shop had a wide selection of souvenirs and keepsakes to choose from, making it a perfect place to find unique gifts for friends and family. I highly recommend visiting Shell World if you're in Yeppoon. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this place is a hidden gem that deserves to be explored. You won't be disappointed !
Zella Keiko Bawr — Google review
Nice little museum and shop to see everything shell-related. Great place to take kids also but I agree it’s about a 5-10 minute activity
Andrew Dunn — Google review
Gold coin donation. I loved Shell World. Very interesting especially if you have an interest in shells. I'd wanted to visit for a while now, as I've collected sea shells since I was a kid, so it was great to see so many different varieties of sea shells all in the one place. The lady at the information centre, and the other lady within Shell World itself were friendly and very knowledgeable. We bought a couple of nice looking Cowrie shells before leaving. Easy parking. Good location.

Very nice place, lots of interesting shells from around the world to look at that I have never seen before!Staff are very nice, kind and helpful. There are also lots of nice bracelets, necklaces and crafts to buy made from shells for a good price. Every time when I am in Yeppoon, I come to this place.
Beautiful Sunflower — Google review
A very interesting array of shells from all over the world if you're interested in shells then it's for you. A great selection of gifts to purchase and friendly, helpful staff who are more than happy to help guide you through and provide you with information. All they ask is a dollar or two as a donation to the centre which is ran by volunteers.
Michael — Google review
A must visit when you are in the area. This is the largest collection of cataloged, well organized shells I’ve ever seen. I could have spent hours viewing all the different shells they have. This place remains open on gold coin donation and profit from sales of the shells they sell. The lovely lady that answered my questions was so knowledgeable and kind. Very much worth the visit.
Janice P — Google review
It’s part of the tourist information. Some interesting parts and cool pieces. You can buy shark tooth necklace and other Klimbim.
Dimitri stangl — Google review
Beautiful shell collection! They're not all sea shells either and there is some interesting coral, too. You can even buy some shells and jewellery made of shell etc and they're reasonably priced.
Bianca Arnold — Google review
Shell world was amazing. We were struggling for things to do in yeppoon and this certainly entertained us while we were there! It was free to enter through the tourist information centre (where the staff were very friendly and helpful) There were so many shells there to look at from all over the world and a lovely selection of things to buy in the gift shop. I was so impressed by how many there were, they were well organised and clearly labelled. There were some interesting crafts to look at as well It's easy to walk to from the town centre (or get there using the scooters) Highly recommend a visit to shell world if you are in yeppoon!
Elin — Google review
Such a great little place to stop in. Easy to access as its part of the information centre. Amazing collection of shells to look at. Only a gold coin donation to have a look. Definitely worthwhile. The volunteers were lovely also. Shells were also available to buy at a very good price. If you love the ocean and enjoy shell collecting I highly recommend stopping in. I was glad I did.

Lovely walk. Everything kept very clean and inviting. Whether you walk the sand or not, the views are amazing at sunrise in a very well looked after beach.

Shanii Zischke — Google review
This has clearly had a lot of money poured into it by the local government to spike tourism, and it definitely pays off. The beach is beautifully lit at night, and bustling. The parrots go a little bit crazy at sunset, but that can be overlooked. Hang around during high tide to dip your toes in without going onto the sand as the beach completely fills during then! There’s a water feature for children, a stage set up for performances which is beautifully lit, a playground, ammenities, and lots of restaurants. It’s a must to visit whilst in Yeppoon

Yeppoon Community Markets take place at the Yeppoon Showgrounds from 6am to 10am. The locals are known for their friendliness and the market offers a variety of local produce, fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and French pastries. Visitors can also explore street art in the multi-storey carpark and enjoy beautiful artwork adorning the walls.
A great place to get fresh fruit and vegetables straight from the people who grew them. LocL macadamia nuts and oil as well as fantastic handmade soap along with so much more. Worth the early rise.

The vendors need to be aware that wearing latex gloves for food handling can be life and death for a lot of people.. Latex allergies are more common than 2 people within 13 years (it is just what this lady has come across) I wish you can get rid of latex gloves and invest in nitrole gloves, which ALL medical centres and hospitals are using because of this. Thanks

Good small community market. Plenty of fruit and veg and honey. No meat sellers and didn’t find any eggs (could have missed them though or got there too late). Great being able to buy from the farmers themselves. Open 6-9am so be early.

Small market with lots of local produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods and some yummy French paatries/breads. Lost a star as no dogs allowed, so we had to go in separately. Only open from 6am til 10am, get in early so you don't miss out.

I didn’t see anywhere to buy a pastry or anything to eat. One coffee van which is doing her best but I didn’t like the coffee, sorry! She was totally overwhelmed too. It seems to be good for fruit & veg & honey. Also got crapped out by a lady for walking through her stall. There was someone selling native bouquets, which looked good. We left after 15 minutes, will have to get a bite in town.

Best coffee in Yeppoon, we kept coming back, especially after trying other places and being disappointed. Didn't get to try their food, but I'm sure it's good too. It's a shame they're having to close in 3 months due to the site becoming a big development. Hope they find another spot to continue working their magic

Location, atmosphere and service were excellent. Coffee was awesome. Best we had in town. And if you order large - that’s exactly what you get!! Our food was tasty. The bread was fresh and serving sizes of food were very good. But the food seemed all preprepped and arrived just warm. If the food was hot and freshly cooked, I’d give it 5 ⭐️ easily.

Overlook the waterfront with a coffee and smashing breakfast. The pulled pork breakfast tacos were fantastic! Food came out quickly despite being busy and the service was stella.

Vegan options. Smashed avo: swapped egg to mushroom at no extra cost. Was delicious. Keppel Acai Bowl: I loved it. This was a small size and quite a big portion. Cheese Toastie: swapped to vegan cheese. With spinach caramelised onion and tomato. It's also a great option. It's a bit on the pricier side, but for good food, it's worth it. We must've gone at a good time because it wasn't as busy as we have been told it would be. Quick service and food preparation. Indoor and outdoor seating. Books and toys inside for kids. Lots of parking available close by (free 2hr). Close to the kids' water park and beach.

Delicious food and bev every time, the smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese is absolutely divine. But what really makes this cafe stand out is its commitment to demonstrating what it really means to uphold community values. When the mandates took hold they switched to take- away only for everyone. :) bravo guys, here's a business i can support indefinitely.
Alexis Raas — Google review
The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful in assisting with the breakfast selection. Atmosphere, decor, setting was fantastic. I sat outside with my dopio espresso (nearly perfect, most of the espresso I have had at establishments were lukewarm at best - I a certified advanced barrista for 15+ years) followed with eggs Benedict/salmon (the sour dough bread was toasted to perfection, the salmon tasted like salmon with exquisite hollandaise). Highly recommended 👌 - check it out.

Popped in for a coffee this morning and it was really nice! Views from the outdoor are pretty stellar as well! Only downside is that when I asked to use the bathroom I was sent to an offsite public toilet. Not the end of the world overall but. Would happily come back again!!!

Very welcoming environment and delicious food. I had the Chilli crab scramble and the flavours were perfectly balanced. It's a nice space, just potentially needs some more seating as the seating choices are a bit odd when it's busy. Also just for anyone who wants to do a same day reservation, it doesn't get honoured so be aware of that.
Teagan Gibney — Google review
Nice place to sit and have a coffee but I wouldn’t order food from here again. The menu on google is not the menu. The current menu says they have gluten free options but not really, just some gluten free bread, they have tacos on the menu so not sure why you wouldn’t just keep some corn tortillas as a gfo, the pork tacos had some of the driest chewiest pork belly I’ve ever tasted, my hubby will usually eat anything just because we’ve paid for it but he couldn’t even stomach it. Service is very weird, you walk in and it says grab a menu and order at the counter but there are no menus to grab and I stood at the counter for a a good few minutes and no one would even look at me. My hubby had to go back in and chase down a staff member to help him find a menu. Maybe it might be better when it’s not a long weekend.
Lacey Bright — Google review
Appreciate it was a Saturday morning, but no busier than any other Cafe on a Saturday though. The wait for coffee with our meals was about 20mins. The meal we had, bacon and scrambled eggs, was dismal in presentation and quantity for the price. The service was unfriendly.

The Bungalow offers a unique dining experience with its Street Food Thursdays, featuring a special menu of dishes and beverages from a specific cuisine. The staff is well-prepared and provides excellent service, ensuring prompt delivery of delicious food. While reservations are necessary, the regular menu is not available on these themed nights. However, the full drinks and cocktail menu remains accessible. Visitors have praised the polite and knowledgeable staff as well as the fantastic vegetarian options on the menu.
Couldn’t recommend The Bungalows new concept “Street Food Thursdays” enough for a fun, different dining experience. The specials menu hosts an array of dishes and beverages from a specific cuisine. They were well staffed for the evening, service was excellent, and food came out promptly and tasted delicious! Bookings essential! I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like the cuisine available for the evening as their normal menu isn’t available, however their full drinks/cocktail menu still is.

Dropped in here for a lunch after arriving in Yeppoon. We decided to share a burger (which we rarely ever order) and also ordered a plate of brocolini with a wonderful capsicum/tomato paste and the grilled corn plate. The food was fabulous and the service first rate. The burger was a real burger that tasted like those I grew up with. The veggie dishes fabulous. Great work guys and thanks for a tasty meal Went back again and had even more fabulous food. This place is a little gem

We came here for lunch, dinner and coffee last weekend and had three fantastic experiences. Firstly all of the staff that we interacted with were polite, efficient and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely fantastic. Over the course of the two meals, we ordered every vegetarian option on the menu and everything was really delicious. In particular, the eggplant dish was exceptional, the chef clearly cares about what they are creating. Great atmosphere and location. Highly recommend!

Very nice location across the road from the beach. Nice chic decor with outside seating area. They had two vegan entrees and one vegan main. I had the grilled eggplant as a main and I was nicely surprised :) They were flexible in making my mocktail vegan by taking the dairy out. My friend had a Poke bowl and was very happy too. They have vegan wine available.

The service was slow. The food is a bit bland. I had the Chilli Truffle Scramble and the eggs a had a nice spicy bite, but the overall flavour was bland. Wife ordered a long black with a side of hot milk. Hot milk never came and after asking for it it took another 6-7 minute arrive. It’s milk. You make it hot. Then you deliver it. My coffee, a flat white, was bitter. The place wasn’t full or packed at the time and there was 3-4 serving staff, so plenty of people to keep things moving swiftly. Overall poor experience.

This place is a vibe! Adding flavour and trend alongside the few bars/restaurants already existing in town, such a great contribution to the dining and nightlife. I have eaten breaky, lunch and dinner here many times, weekends and weeknights, every meal has been spot on. The menu has healthy options that are still so delicious.... Great coffee and lots of cold drink options (amazing range of Gin - MUST try the Whitley and Neil Rhubarb with soda or tonic). Service is friendly and professional always! Bustling social atmosphere on Friday/Sat evening or Sunday sesh.

Best coffee on the Queensland coast! My partner and I have been travelling up the coast of Queensland, trying coffee in each town we visit. We were so pleased that the Bungalow has the good oat milk (minor figures) and even better service. The staff at The Bungalow are extremely friendly and welcoming. We love the vibe, the music and the barista Liv! Liv gave us exceptional service and made us feel home even though we are 1,700km from home! We loved it so much we had to buy a tshirt to remember the good times in Yeppoon! We will be sure to visit again when we pass through and try the wings! - Alex and Emily x

Cafe
Food For Thought Cafe offers a genuinely warm and welcoming atmosphere, providing a homely experience unlike many other hipster cafes. This mindful space stands out from the crowd, serving up delicious food and fantastic, hot coffee with mouthwatering homemade cakes. When searching for a place to enjoy morning tea with parents, we explored various cafes along the Main Street but were disappointed by their average cakes. Just as we were about to give up and head home, we stumbled upon this hidden gem.
Had brunch there on an Easter Sunday. Enthusiastic staff, fantastic homemade food and amazing atmosphere made it so impressive. Definitely worth a visit and recommend the iced dirty chai😀

Great breakfast, really big slice of bacon and nice fresh food. I think a couple runs the place, the lady was very friendly and has great customer service. Very thankful for their service. Chai banana smoothie was also delicious. Just a bit pricy.

Fantastic, hot coffee with amazing home made cakes! I was looking for somewhere to take my parents for morning tea, so we walked along the Main Street and checked out every cafe we could find but their cakes were VERY average. we we’re about to walk home because we couldn’t find anything nice, then we found this place. Will be back again soon.

Wanted takeaway for Brekky, first phone call wasn’t answered, second I was told “sorry too busy” and was hung up on. Why do people advertise takeaway if they don’t serve takeaway? Really disappointed in a cafe I’ve always recommended.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy a drink and meal during the day, Keppel Bay Sailing Club is the perfect choice. With its picturesque views of the beach, it offers a cozy atmosphere where you can relax with a cold beverage (such as beer) and savor a tasty lunch. The seafood here is exceptional, but be aware that the portions are quite generous, so wearing stretchy pants might be a good idea.
Amazing food, staff welcoming, smiling and friendly. Highly recommended. Atmosphere relaxing,

Convenient location in Central Yeppoon with a beautiful view. Great food (I had the salmon & asparagus crepe). Prices are reasonable, and there is a fully stocked bar. I'm not sure if there is wheelchair access- I just walked up the steps. Service was very good. Overall, a very pleasant place for lunch.

Poached eggs were hard, supposed to be soft , they tasted like they had been poached in something added to water , eg vinegar(but not sure) Couldn't cut sour dough toast with a knife, had to use steak knife

A group of 6 visited for lunch, the place had maybe 6 other people there, great views and the staff are very friendly. What disappointed all of us was the very poor quality of food. The fish, chips & chicken were very overcooked, dry and horrible. We left & my family vowed not to return for food. Their sister company just across the road provides much better food, great staff but less views of the beach. Had to give 3 stars for the friendly staff & views, otherwise it would be 1 star if based purely on food.

In all honesty, I don’t really know what happened to this place. The food quality has seemingly tanked since my last visit. As a group we ordered a handful of things and our order was mostly correct, but was missing some vital things. We had ordered a prime rump requested at well done with mushroom sauce and a calamari topper. It came out almost charcoal and just about burnt. It was very dry and was missing both the sauce and the calamari that we paid for. We also ordered 3 salmons at varying temperatures with the same sides (except one) and all but one came out cold in the center. The salmon dish that had the different side came out with the same sides as the other two. Alongside this, we ordered two chicken dishes, a grilled chicken and a chicken schnitzel. The schnitzel ended up being quite tasty but the breadcrumbs were overcooked and it was hard to bite through. The grilled chicken honestly didn't even seem like grilled chicken, it felt more like a glorified roast chicken with grill marks. It was dry, the skin was rubbery, and not very nice. The mashed potatoes I ordered alongside this did not taste very nice and it did not help that the salt shakers at the table I was at did not really dispense much salt. One of the salt shakers was also filled with rice, I don't really know why this is done but it just felt kind of superfluous. The only real redeeming factor of my night in terms of the food was the bacon and cheese garlic bread, which continues to be the best item on the menu. The bowl of vegetables also continue to be one of the best sides. Other then the food, the waiting time was just okay. I believe it took 40 or more minutes to get 6 dishes to the table and about 30 just for garlic bread. The long wait was not helped by the very loud trivia night performance. I have nothing against trivia nights and find them quite fun to listen along and try to guess with the people I am eating with, but this one was not great. The presenter was there because the usual presenter wasn't present due to illness which is okay but it didn't help the performance at all. The speaker at the front was configured to be way too loud and the way the presenter talked into the microphone made it a lot louder then it needed to be. The music section of the trivia was excruciating because not only was the music way too loud, but also the presenter also played chiptune (8-bit music as he called it). It's weird to hear this sort of thing from me since I actually quite enjoy chiptune and listen to it regularly but there's a thing about the square wave that the presenter needs to know: It hurts really bad when you play it loudly. It also didn't help at all that in quiet sections of the music, the presenter turned up the speaker which only made it worse. Once again - I have nothing against trivia nights, but the execution of the one that was happening while I ate was below par and made it hard to talk to the people at my table. Other then that, some other good parts to this place are the ocean view you get from any table in the restaurant and friendly staff. If you're not looking for an entire meal, I would recommend this place - especially if you are coming here at lunch. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Average RSL-experience S23°7′59″ E150°44′59″ This Sailing Club is a copy of a RSL-club, with bar & restaurant. The menu is not exciting in its options. Just the usual, including a dog bag for home. The interior looks like an airport waiting room. The lighting is terrible. Too bad, you cannot see the ocean after sunset. In September 2018, we ordered the fish of the day, grilled tuna, with celery and rice in a sweet chili sauce (AU$28). With our expectations not set too high and the presentation of the food under par (why black tableware?), the tuna was well prepared, nicely red inside and tasted good. A little pity, the sweet chili sauce was prominent in the overall taste. But again, a pleasant culinary surprise. Compliments to the chef. We were looking for food that went beyond fish & chips or mash potatoes, but instead the server recommended a simple burger. Other culinary direction, please! This club offers cheap meals without any expectations. The tuna dish was fine, but the whole experience was soon forgotten. Not recommended.

Waiting time can be quite long during lunch hours and reservations preferred. Pasta was dry and not fantastic. The pizza and chicken were alright. May skip the sweet potato fries.

Very busy night for all concerned. Pinefest was in so understandable. Nice meals and cold drinks. The service was not up to scratch but when staff don’t turn up for with it is unavoidable. Well with s visit either here or spinnaker. They are good as each other. Cheers big ears and enjoy

Visiting Yeppoon. We're greeted nicely by receptionist; she even found us a table n let us know there may be a wait for food. I went to bar to order a drink while my wife waited in line to order dinner. I ordered a drink n the barmaid said she had the right to refuse me ... when I said it was my first drink n we were here for dinner, she demanded to know what I had ordered. I explained my wife was waiting in line to order. I have a speech impediment as part of a disability.... this exchange spoilt our evening...it also didn't help that my wife was told it was a 1hr 45 min wait n also part of our order was not available. Needless to say, we didn't stay. Very disappointing.

The meal was a typical pub meal but the prawn topper was disappointing. 3 prawns for $12 - ridiculous.

I organised to have my mother’s surprise 60th birthday dinner here and it was a total success! I had discussions with several staff in the weeks and days prior to the event, and each staff member was very polite and helpful and brought with them their own ideas which I loved. I’m quite fussy and the staff simply nailed it from go to woe! Thank you to Annette, Janice, Katie, Lee, Letisha, the chefs, the bar staff, the waiters and anyone else I may have missed. You were all wonderful and the night would not have been the same without your input! Congratulations to you all and I can’t wait to have my next function or get together with you. Job extremely well done!!
