Verona

Verona is a magnificent medieval gem. The old town center is a well-preserved ensemble of palaces, churches, towers, and squares, with a Renaissance Central Square and an amphitheater that was once the stage for valiant gladiator fights. The city is also home to some of Italy's finest wines and cheeses, making it the perfect place for foodies and culture-lovers alike.

Basilica
Sights & Landmarks
This imposing church, built in the Romanesque style, is dedicated to St. Zeno and dates back to the 5th century AD. The building is richly decorated with frescoes and bronze doors with depictive scenes from the Bible. The interior is also home to an impressive altarpiece by noted Renaissance artist Mantegna. If you're visiting Verona during Vinitaly, this should definitely be on your list of sights to see.
Very beautiful church. Amazing altar and the bronze door. Worth a visit. Is just 15 minutes walk away from the city center. The tickets cost only 3 euro.
Ciprian Biclineru — Google review
Very nice basilica with great history, you get a written and app guide with entry ticket which is great. There is also information on the remains of St Zeno within the crypt which was very interesting. Seeing the restoration and renovation work was nice.
Hashim Fakhreddin — Google review
This is an absolutely stunning basilica, the architecture on the interior and exterior is gorgeous. This lovely church also has a very unique feature as it houses a crypt. It’s very well preserved and maintained, it’s got lots of beautiful works of art and holy relics. The inside of the church is very tranquil and peaceful. Its courtyard and gardens are beautiful, I really enjoyed the time I spent here. I would definitely recommend visiting this Basilica when visiting Verona.
Pong Lenis — Google review
Very nice church worth seeing. The church is a short walk away from the center of the city. This might be a disadvantage to some, but for us it was an advantage since this was the least touristic sight we saw in Verona. Admission is low (3 euros) and there is a free audio guide app. Most definitely worth visiting if you don't mind a small walk :)
Jip Hekerman — Google review
Great church. It is not the best in the city though as the other major cathedrals are likely better. Still great church which through its architecture and it’s double floor showcases the evolution of Christianity in Verona. The wooden ceiling is particularly wonderful, would recommend going with daylight.
Kristi Mitre — Google review
Stunning church - wonderful frescos and the bronze door is magnificent. A little way from the centre but we’ll worth the short walk!
Chris ennew — Google review
It's crypt was the place of the marriage of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. So we had to see it and it didn't disappoint. There is a 4eur entrance fee which we were happy to pay to help preserve this. It's rather simple painted on the inside, but very grand. Something different. We walked from the old city, along the river so we've stopped at various places on the way.
Ramona Crisan — Google review
It is one of the main churches in Verona and far from others. It is in the center but, you have to walk other direction. Interior side has the bronze doors which is the most famous and Frescoes that you are able to interesting. And, the second book of Dante has one moment that San. Zeno and Dante have met. You will see the enterence about this story.
Ömür UZGİDİM — Google review
Beautiful church. Fair price and nice to see
Markus Lochner — Google review
On the outside it looks spectacular and very good. Architecture is also amazing. However it is not free of charge. You must pay 4 Euros to get of which I did not do.
Mustafa Arikan — Google review
First I’ve been attracted By Andrea’s Painting, however when I was there, I found the frescoes more attractive.
Hao Yu — Google review
This church was beautiful and unique. There is an exquisite cloistered courtyard, and an impressive crypt. It's okay if the Verona Card, and it's definitely the best of Verona's churches!!
Calum Carswell — Google review
This breathtaking Basilica is a bit out of the way from the more popular tourist stops in Verona. When we were there we nearly had it to ourselves and it was such a tranquil and almost soothing place to be. There are gorgeous, ancient frescos and a stunningly beautiful crypt. The relics of Zemo, the patron Saint of Verona are here too. A very special experience. Loved it.
Kym McKenna — Google review
Wonderful old church in Verona. Goes back to at least the 4th century, was badly damaged by the barbarians toward the end of the 10th century, and then badly damaged again by a major earthquake in the 12th century. The bronze paneled doors are exceptional, and the church architecture is breathtaking. Well worth visiting!
Peter Curran — Google review
The Basilica of San Zeno was constructed between 967 and 1398 AD in the Romanesque style. Its interior is a mix of Romanesque and Gothic, and holds the San Zeno Altarpiece by Renaissance painter Andrea Mantegna.
Kent Wang — Google review
A Basilica! Yepp... Is a tone in Italy! Or... maybe not. Because each has his different beauty, style, story. This is one of them. Worth visiting if you are in Verona
Zoltan Marius Bursan — Google review
Exquisite basilica a little away from the busy areas that must feature as part of your Verona itinerary. Take note of the “graffiti” etched into the frescoes on the walls spanning hundreds of years - a reminder that people (just like now) enjoyed letting the world know “they were here”.
Zack Austin — Google review
Doing the Hop on Hop off on a Sunday not only was the church lovely but they also had a flea market in the square. Nice stop for pizza and refreshment
T A — Google review
Majestic and beautiful temple with frescos dated back to the 13th century. The inside of the church is amazing, from the beautiful window to the wooden ceiling, the church looks amazing. The most incredible is the cloistered abbey, with each many pillars. There is a crypt housing the body of St. Zeno, which traditionally is believed to be the place Romeo and Juliet got married. The temple of St. Zeno is definitely worth a visit while you're in Verona.

Bridge
Sights & Landmarks
The Ponte Pietra is a scenic Roman arch bridge that was rebuilt after it was destroyed in WWII. It is one of the citys oldest bridges, and has been reconstructed several times. The bridge crosses the Adige River in Verona, and is popular among tourists for its views of the city.
Nothing special about this bridge, looks like any other one. But I have find smaller differences. There many people lock their padlock in shape of heart ❤️. Next time you will plan to visit this bridge in Verona , don’t forget to get one padlock heart shaped for you and you other half
Tomas Osvald — Google review
A beautiful place to watch the sunset in Verona, if you want to eat in a restaurant nearby, I suggest you book early. The bridge is popular with tourists and is packed full of people waiting for the sunset.
Julie Summers — Google review
The most beautiful view of the city is from the castle above the bridge, ride the cable car up to 5e and the view is indescribable, I recommend it to everyone. Verona is a beautiful city, but you can expect big crowds, especially on weekends it is the only complaint for this city

Great view and relaxing location overlooking the river through Verona. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants or have a refreshing drink.
Paul Citulski — Google review
What an amazing view. You can see small mountains on one side and on the other side the San Pietro High with some ancient historical ruins
Murat — Google review
Visited the bridge on a guided tour of Verona old town, which was fascinating to find out that parts of this bridge are 2000 years old and built by the Romans and is a lovely way to enter Verona old town.
lisa sowerby — Google review
Stable bridge, stong and sturdy. It did not collapse once! Useful passageway into the old city of Verona. Nice for a walk and beautiful view!
Norah Plasschaert — Google review
Very very pretty! Come here a bit early in the morning to avoid the crowds. By 11am it was already full of tourists. Plan to spend at least one good hour to walk around and take photos.

The Ponte Pietra (Italian for "Stone Bridge") is a Roman arch bridge crossing the Adige River in Verona, Italy. The bridge was completed in 100 BC, and the Via Postumia from Genoa to Aquileia passed over it. It is the oldest bridge in Verona. It originally flanked another Roman bridge, the Pons Postumius; both structures provided the city (on the right bank) with access to the Roman theatre on the east bank. The arch nearest to the right bank of the Adige was rebuilt in 1298 by Alberto I della Scala. Four arches of the bridge were blown up by retreating German troops in World War II, but rebuilt in 1957 with original materials.

The oldest (2000 years old) and most beautiful bridge in Italy
You Tube — Google review
The oldest bridge in Verona. Part of it is medieval and another part is Romans. It has a perfect view to the river, Castle San Pietro and San Giorgio Church. By its river banks, you can chill out with friends and family, have a nice walk, enjoy and breathe a cool air.
Jonas — Google review
Very nice view, the parking is very near and its for free
Dritan Buzani — Google review
Oldest bridge in Verona, made of stones. The bridge (as all) has been destroyed by German soldiers during the II. world war, but has been renewed by using the original stone items (1957). Today, the bridge is only for pedestrians. The bridge is 120 meter long.
Bence Geider — Google review
The most anient bridge of Verona and of the most fascinating places in town. Can’t visit the city and miss it, this is real History!
Cecilia Smanio — Google review
This is one of the top three things in Verona for sure. You must walk till the bridge. You can enjoy the lovely sights from each side. You can take photos from anywhere. You can cross over and decide which side you want to walk. I mean it is simply a joy.

The Torre dei Lamberti is a tall medieval tower in Verona, Italy. The tower offers panoramic views of the city and its surroundings.
Amazing views. We had the Verona pass which gets you in for free but opted to pay the extra one euro each to use the elevator (if you go to the arena first you won't want to do anything more stairs 😂). Definitely worth a visit especially if you have the pass.
Christine Larson — Google review
Really nice landmark with 368 steps to the top! We got a “get your guide” Verona card which included entry (but not the lift up) which suited us as we was happy to walk, lift was €5. Nice gift shop & nice to look at from a distance both during the day and at night
Ryan Austin — Google review
Nice experiance but not sure the 15 minutes up the tower was worth an hour waiting in the queue. Also had to pay an extra €1 to use the lift! This wasn't made clear before hand i was just asked if id rather take the stairs or take the lift.
Dominika Lewandowska — Google review
Very nice view from the top of the tower. Sadly the entrance is about 4,5€ which is expensive in my opinion but they have an elevator so you are not forced to take the stairs
reputation — Google review
Admission to the tower is included with the Verona City Pass. The stairs are good exercise and don’t take very long, but you can also pay to use an elevator to get up. The views at the top are stunning, and you may even hear the bells ring if you come at the right time!
Caleb Gross — Google review
Free entrance with Verona card and I paid an extra 1€ to use the lift, while my boyfriend ran up the stairs in about 2 minutes, but we were told the stairs would take 10 minutes, so assume somewhere in between when making your choice. Beautiful views at the top, we went in off-season (first week of December) so it was pretty empty. There’s a great Christmas market near the entrance as well :)
Maya Leis — Google review
Torre dei Lamberti is definitely worth visiting. Definitely climb up the tower. The view from there is amazing. Also the balcony next to the tower is great
Ali Daher — Google review
Worth going up the tower, great views of this lovely city of Verona from up there. We didn’t get to go up the tower during our last visit as it was closed late in the evening. But this time we did it right with the Verona card, as it included admission to the Torre dei Lamberti also. A good 30 minutes was sufficient for taking the elevator up, enjoying the views and getting back down.
Localizer — Google review
Great viewpoint over the whole of the city - no need to worry about a lengthy climb - just take the lift! Definitely worth the entrance fee and would be a shame to miss this place when visiting Verona
S Sage — Google review
Very nice views from up top, no reason not to visit when you're in Verona. €6 per person and you can take the elevator. Don't bother climbing the stairs further once you reach the top platform, there's a shut door awaiting you.
Michal Šimurka — Google review
Very nice views, wait time to go up around 5-7 minutes (on a Monday in May, around 3 pm), no que at the elevator. We stayed only a few minutes on the balcony as well and came back down. P.S. The 6 euro entrance cost I think is a bit much, but if you have Verona card and more attractions on your list (and decent wait times)- is worth it.
Ana Chirila — Google review
This is one of the things that you must do whilst you are in the city. You can either pay the reduced ticket and take the stairs or like I did you pay full 6 euros and take the lift and take the stairs on the way back down. The 360 panoramic view of the city is simply breathtaking and amazing.
Mustafa Arikan — Google review
Good views of Verona old town, but at the price of 6€ I think its too expensive just for the views and time wasted in the queue. I think its better to go to the Castel San Pietro, the views are much better, the entrance is free and you don't waste probably 30min or more waiting in a queue.
José Martins — Google review
The top floor view point is closed for renovation, but the lady made sure to tell us that only after she charged us. Ask about it before you buy a ticket. Plus the awful safety nets are killing the view of the city, I've been to much much higher viewpoints and they all have better solutions. There are much better ways to spend your time and money at the moment in this beautiful city.
dusan2210 — Google review
Obligatory tower on the main square with superb views of the city. Unfortunately was a rainy/cloudy day, but could still see the city. Elevator or ~350 stairs to walk up. 6 eur entry. 360 views. Worth it I believe. Tickets purchased at the bottom, next to the main square.

Il Desco is a Michelin-starred, upscale Italian restaurant that specializes in creative Veronese cuisine. The menu boasts a variety of tasting menus and wine pairings, making it perfect for those looking to enjoy a unique dining experience. Outdoor seating is available and wheelchair access is also provided.
We loved the food, everything was amazing, also the service. We had a very nice waiter, who knew his way with wines and tasting.Nice manners also.Compliments to the chef and the staff, who really know their job. The table was not very comfortable, as it had a middle block foot and i could not stretch my legs especially as a woman wearing high heels, so i had to sit sideways all the time. Also, it was a little chill inside, but i noticed that's how it is everywhere, in every restaurant. If you wear sweater and winter boots, you're safe. But if you wear a dress with high heels be ready to shiver. The prices are actually cheap. We payed for 2 people around 500 euro 2 menus, a bottle of white wine, 2 grappas and a bottle of still water. In Romania, the same type of food but without the Michelin star, exceeds 500 euro for 2 people.Overall, if you like this type of food, you will love this restaurant. 100% recommend it!

My favorite restaurant in Italy ! Professional staff, beautiful interior, amazing food , excellent quality/price! Personal attitude towards every client . We have found incredible local wines there thanks to recommendation of sommelier. It was a real discovery. Spaghetti , risotto , lobster antipasto to die for!! We don’t live in Verona , but twice a year we come there just to have this incredible experience of perfection in everything ! Thank You sooo much ❤️

Stunning experience. From the minute you enter the location, you are embraced by very friendly and attentive service. Food is above all expectations, I highly recommend to get a wine pairing - I promise you won’t regret it. We had tickets to Arena on the same evening, and the crew did everything to ensure we have a great evening and leave on time for the show. Can’t wait to be back and come here again without any hurry - because the place is absolutely worth to be the show on its own!

It’s in the center of Verona with restricted traffic, I use to park in the parking house in piazza isolo and walk over the bridge in case I don’t find any free parking. Food is really excellent, we had a 7+course menu and every dish was a real treat in appearance, fragrance, textures and flavors, just Wonderful! Service is good, very professional in a comfortable and not to stiff way. They are very interactive if required and t’s a pleasure to listen and ask about the food and wine served and they’ll take their time to explain it to you. The ambient is also very nice, warm and cozy and 5 hours just slipped away like nothing. Sincerely I could recommend every single dish I had, Al excellent but if I had to choose 2 I would warmly recommend the foie gras Bon Bon that just melts in your mouth revealing an explosion of delicate flavors, such a firework of taste, I never have enough of them! And the sour prune sorbet with shiso and coconut foam/Cream that so much reminded me of the traditional Japanese sour prune bon bons, in a reviewed, enriched and brought to art, way. A dinner at desco is absolutely an experience to repeat once in a while 👏🏻

If you’re visiting Verona, and want to taste delicious ceviches, smoked salmon that’s served with literal smoke, sourdough bread to die for, and a duck breast that’ll make you dream of it, then this is the place to go for! The food is incredible, and like most Michelin starred restaurants they take account of any allergies you have. The lovely staff, combined with a pleasant and quaint atmosphere makes this restaurant worth the visit! Highly recommended, and thank you for the amazing dinner!

Truly magnificent experience. From dish to dish, wine selection, aperitivos, and - most of all - chef and the entire team and their exceptional hospitality- this was a wonderful and delicious evening out. Cannot wait to return! Also, there were so many vegetarian options! They called in advance to ensure that proper care was taken for all dietary restrictions, which showed they go the extra mile with their guests. A fantastic place.

Absolutely stunning menu. Every dish is very well made and delicious, service is very accurate too and the atmosphere is nice. Definitely recommended if you want a special experience
Susanna Cheng — Google review
What an absolutely remarkable experience! Our wedding reception in the private room was nothing short of perfection. Antonio's service was truly exceptional; he not only expertly handled allergies and food preferences but also showcased an unmatched knowledge of wines. The nine-course tasting menu was a culinary masterpiece, with every dish being sheer perfection. Even when we dined at Osteria Francescana later in the week, it paled in comparison to the culinary delight we experienced at Ristorante Il Desco. Without a doubt, we're eagerly anticipating our return, and we should make that reservation right away to ensure we don't miss out on this exceptional dining experience again.

Restaurant
Locanda 4 Cuochi is a modern and elegant Italian restaurant in Verona that offers a refreshing take on classic dishes. The waiters are charmingly Italian hipsters, which makes for a different experience compared to other restaurants in town.
We had an amazing food experience! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They helped us to choose the best wine to match our dishes. I ordered the liver with polenta as starter, pork as main meal and the best eclair I've ever eaten as desert. Everything were so delicious!!
Lennon Spirlandelli — Google review
I was able to walk in and get seated without a reservation on a Friday. It was probably fairly early for lunch for locals. The restaurant was full while I was there. Tried the customised menu. Food and wine are fairly good value. Tastes and presentation are solid, if not spectacular. Loved the pasta dish best. Great ambience and service.
Sydney Zhang — Google review
Quality restaurant with lovely, tasty dishes and very efficient service. We hadn't booked and were happy to take two seats at a bar overlooking the kitchen. The menu is not extensive, but each dish that we had was very good.

Wonderful experience in this beautiful place. Very tasted dish from appetizer to the dessert. Risotto all’amarone is a must as the amazing millefoglie dessert. The place is behind the arena in the center of Verona. Very recommended!

We loved Locanda 4 Cuochi. The presentation is great and the food tasted amazing as well! I loved the detail of providing colored pencils at each table so you could doodle. Great place. Homemade sorbets are to die for!!! Reservation recommended and easy to make online.

Good food (love the Al denta pasta especially) attentive and helpful staff at great location and reasonable price, I’ve no complaint at all. Only thing that I wish is that the turkey thigh could be a bit less salty but that’s probably how they cook here as majority of restro I visited got the same issue (or maybe that’s me). But overall, great place to dine!

We had a lunch reservation for our group of 10 adults and 5 children (1-5 years old). The service staff was nice. It was cool how every dish has a drawable tablecloth with pens (on all tables, not jist the ones for kids). Also the adults enjoyed drawing of course. The food was high quality, very pretty arranged/served and very tasty. The ambiance is fancy.

I chose this place as a surprise for my partner and both of us were so happy at this restaurant. Great selection of wines, other beverages and the food was out of this world. An Italian restaurant by all means. Lovely staff! The interior was decent, tables were sturdy with no wobbling, plates, glasses and cutlery clean. No foul smell from the kitchen. Everything was top-notch. Do yourself a favor and choose to have a lovely evening here with your partner or as a family. You will not be dissapointed.

Amazing place with delicious food and lovely staff. I booked a table to celebrate my partner's birthday and I couldn't have chosen better! The tasting menu blew our minds, the hospitability was top notch and price to quality ratio was very satisfying. Additionally, lactose intolerance was easily accommodated. If you are looking for a place to eat great food or celebrate any important occasion that's the place to go.

I have only one night in Verona and I picked this. All dishes are delicious with appropriate pricing, portion and plating. My favourite dish was the spaghetti-al dente highly recommended! Second is their bread service, love the warm softness of the bread and generous serving crew replenish they notice I finished all. Welcoming greetings from door front till table but unfortunately 1pax dining only has high table available even you make reservations. Definitely will back next time.

Restaurant
It is a prestigious and centuries-old wine bar that offers tapas, Italian meals, and a range of regional and national wines. It is popular for its Old World atmosphere and boisterous clientele. The most popular dish at this restaurant is risotto Amarone because it was made here first.
Excellent service/wine pairing. I liked the atmosphere although I'm not sure Rock music matched the venue...husband liked that though :). A tad on the expensive side, but worth it. Authentic cuisine with some new flavours. Best book in advance and be aware that you have the table for max 2 hours. Menu on website doesn' match the one at the restaurant itself exactly. Would definitely recommend dinner here!
Amanda Geismann — Google review
Very good food, great wine selection - the service doesn’t match the price though. We booked an reservation for the evening after ordering some great wine a day before. The restaurant was empty and the two of us were offered a place behind a refrigerator in a separate, empty room. Again, the place was empty and didn’t fill up. It was still half empty when we left at 9pm. Upon asking wether we could switch tables, we were told that we can move next to the toilet in the main room. We carried our glasses and bottles to this table ourselves with no interest from the waiter or offer to help lest alone asking whether we wanted some wine, we asked for the wine card after sitting at the table for quite some time without any service. No one refilled the wine while we were there, asked whether the food tasted etc. Different waiter took our order for wine - recommendation was on point. Bottle is pretty highly priced in in sale. Food was very good as well. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place as the lack of attentiveness and basic consideration for placement is not appropriate for the price range.
Tanja S — Google review
The wine selection was amazing coupled with great food. They could have done a better job at helping guests get seated at the table but once we got seated, the service was excellent. Recommend booking ahead if you want to visit this place.

WOW what a place!! If you are looking for local restaurant and wine bar that THE place. The restaurant is elegant and has cozy vibe. It tends to be pretty crowded so make a reservation in advance. There are tables for bigger and smaller groups. We highly recommend trying the pasta as well as schnitzel. The place offers huge variety of wines so it’s a perfect place for degustation. The prices were a bit higher than usual but for the quality and atmosphere you get, it is 100% worth it
Ania Olszewska — Google review
If I could give this place more than five stars I seriously would. We come to Verona just to eat at this restaurant basically. They're always changing the menu and the food is always incredible. They're not kidding when they say they're a winery because they're drinks book is basically longer than the Bible. The wine was amazing of course. The only thing is that my mom ordered the ravioli and she said they were too few, so be warned. I ordered the yellow risotto and it did not disappoint! This is the perfect spot for a pre-opera dinner in the summer or a delicious lunch on any day.
Maria Jose Rodriguez — Google review
We love and hate this place. We loved the food and wine and atmosphere. Individually we liked our waiters; they are kind and talented. We loved the wine Bible too and if you want some amazing and original wine from Northern Italy this is your spot. We HATED the restaurant procedures which make getting a reservation difficult (book on google at own risk - it will show free time but they can reject it and Verona is a town where you need reservations for nice places so you will be left without Other options) and if they want your table after 90 minutes they’ll ask you to leave even if you have half a bottle of barbaresco wine on your table (not just us everyone in restaurant has to leave for 9pm seating). I would probably go again because this restaurant has a perfect expression of Italian design, wonderful food and incredible wine — it is living history. But this restaurant could easily be a 4,8 stars or more stars and they’re held back by being a**holes.
Michael McAllister — Google review
Probably one of the coolest experiences I've had around the world. On a Vinitaly evening, the energy in and outside this iconic venue is unmatched. Didn't sit or eat inside but had a few bottles of amazing wine in the alley outside on top of a recycling bin... yes! It was amazing. The wine list is unbelievable.
Samuel Lacroix — Google review
Amazing historic restaurant in the heart of Madrid. This is the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Europe. Hemingway famously ate here. Goya was a waiter here before becoming an enigmatic artist. The restaurant features beautiful paintings and antique decorations. The service is traditional, and it is fun to interact with the waiters wearing the older style of clothing. Beyond the history, they serve the best roast lamb I’ve ever had. I love lamb and would have roast lamb nearly every week growing up, so that is saying something. They roast it in a rustic wood fire. It is simply seasoned, highlighting the quality of the meat. It is served how it originally was centuries ago - with two potatoes. It pairs well with red wine. I also recommend the artichokes.

An amazing restaurant and wine bar with an extensive wine cellar of over 18,000 bottles of wine. The 5 of us had an amazing dinner which included appetizers and main courses of osso buco, veal cutlet and braised beef cheeks. Highly recommend you book this restaurant if you are visiting Verona.

Nice to experience the authentic charm of this classic wine restaurant, where exceptional starters pave the way for a memorable dining adventure. The extensive wine selection ensures the perfect pairing, enhancing your overall culinary delight. (Fried calamari, beef cheek and cotoletta😍)

My concierge in Venice told me I MUST come here for dinner! Bless his heart. lol It wouldn’t have been my first choice as a solo traveler since it has a very social ambiance, even with conjoined tables but I made the best of it. Aside from the noise and servers constantly passing, it’s a beautiful and characteristic restaurant. The servers are professional but also a bit playful. (See photos haha). Shoutout to the medieval menu that thumped on my table. Gave me a good laugh. I noticed a teeny tiny bar at the front near the register. Could be a good place to meet people. Food was good. (Not memorable). I’d return with some company and ask for a table away from the walking aisle. ;)

One of the places to eat at before you die! Excellent food with a vast selection of wine, and helpful staff. A must visit in Verona. The place is timeless and the ambiance is something special. 10/10!

Great Italian bottega with the largest wine book you ever saw in a restaurant. We had a 2012 Brunello which was amazing!

Great vibe with nice food! The price quality is mwah but it was a great experience. The turbot wasn’t that good but the rabbit and pasta were absolutely amazing! We got a great wine recommended to us by the waiter, who was super friendly the whole night. Furthermore, the antipasta was great but not worth the price. The super small tomato salad was tasty but not worth 14/16 euros, but the squid at 20 euros was worth it! Really nice vibe and great to keep drinking their delicious wines outside or inside!!

Everything about this place screams AMAZING! The meal was great, but the apertivo was standout, the best we had in Verona! The crowd is beautiful , the wines are phenomenal, and the appetizers are on point ! Make a reservation for dinner and show up early to get a good table because it sells out. The Apertivo is hopping from 5:30-7, but you get moving at 6:59 cause they need the space for dinner. Note the keep a hard and fast rule to the seating times. Plan accordingly. Service is outstanding!!

The beautiful old wooden interior of this restaurant makes for a terrific atmosphere. There is a plaque out front designating it as typical Veronese cuisine. They have an absolute encyclopaedic volume of wine from all over Europe, with a couple of hundred pages. It was a really memorable way to enjoy our last dinner in Italy and totally worthwhile. The meals were all reasonably priced and they have a great blackboard full of decent wines priced by the glass. Highly recommended.

This trattoria serves up hearty pasta dishes that are a must-try in Verona. The range of specialty meats on the menu is also impressive, and the restaurant itself is rustic and intimate with old photographs and cured meats hanging on the walls.
A fabulous dinner with very typical dishes and wines. Excellent service and the best food in Verona. A perfect evening. Be sure to make a reservation as it is always full

We loved the food, atmosphere and service. We ordered a mixed prosciutto and mortadella plate as a starter, with a very easy drinking wine offered by the waiter. As the main course, we chose Amareno risotto and Gnocchi with horse meat. We ended the evening with a delicious parfait. All recommended. Don't forget to book your table!

Was able to reserve lunch here and it was well worth it. They specialize in cold cuts so be sure to order some prosciutto or cheese!! They cut the meats inthe back which is cool to watch. Nice atmosphere and a great place to try out typical Veronese cuisine. The food was cooked to perfection.

Amazing experience! The raviolis was definitely a must! We started with the speck and burrata that was excellent, finished with the tiramisu. Do not skip dessert!

Probably the best restaurant in Verona. Our private guide booked this restaurant for us and it was magnificent. Truly authentic cuisine and flavors with the nicest staff, but it's very hard to get a spot so plan ahead!

This restaurant is always excellent. We’ve eaten here numerous times and have always enjoyed it tremendously. The atmosphere is really authentic, not fake or a pastiche. The food is always excellent and the ultra-professional boss Marco and staff are a joy. The menu is relatively short and always interesting. The hams and cheeses particularly are of the highest quality, as is the wine. They are happy to be flexible with menu items if needed. Always a wonderful experience - but don’t forget to book!

Another delicious meal at this Trattoria in a little laneway off from the Main Street where Juliet’s House is located. The waiters here are all dressed up in their bow ties. Have to say the Wild Boar Gnocchi was melt in your mouth delicious. Only topped in the end by the mouth watering Torta al cioccolato. They also have a very extensive wine list.

Daughter researched and said we HAD to eat here. We were seated outside with other tourists as inside was packed with locals. Amazing fresh baratta dish to start and then the traditional red wine risotto, with wine to drink. Helpful waiters. A slow, delicious dinner.

A perfect dinner spot, very popular and with an encyclopaedic wine list. Food was outstanding and the service was great. Made a very nice first dinner for our holiday. Would recommend booking in advance (via email is fine, you don’t need to call)

I hadn't been here for a while - I went with a large group - I have to say it was absolutely superb. I had the mixed cured meats - which isn't usually a dish for which you would write home about - but I am! Pigeon risotto absolutely unusual out amazing and finishing off with Zabaione... All accompanied by an amazing wine and champagne list which we took extreme advantage of. I'll be coming back soon

A fabulous lunch at this place… the restaurant was packed when we arrived & had no reservation, but thankfully they managed to find us a table! Really happy… the stock fish dish that they recommended was an absolute mind blowing experience! Everything on that plate was made of stock fish & it had both warm & cold dishes! Never had something like that.. absolutely recommend If you are a fish lover

For us the best place we ate during our weekendtrip. It has really authentic food with the best and pure taste. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We did not make a reservation but luckily got there early so we got a table till 9pm. But we saw a lot of people who did not have as much luck, so our advise is to make a reservation. The panna cotta is mind-blowing delicious. Extensive winelist. Absolute nr 1.

Il Punto Rosa is a charming, intimate Italian restaurant located just steps away from the beautiful Piazza Bra. Offering a wide range of delicious dishes such as charcuterie platters, pasta dishes and seafood, Il Punto Rosa has something to suit everyone's taste. With an extensive wine list to complement the cuisine, Il Punto Rosa is perfect for a romantic evening out or a family-friendly meal.
Amazing place! The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful and kind. They have unique dishes which are so delicious that after having the starter, I wanted to order the whole menu!!

This place deserves all the stars!! We spent hours there, and went two days in a row (and we only spent 2 days in Verona). Service was great, and really fast. The food was FANTASTIC!!! Wine amazing, and so many options. Desert was also really good! If I go again to Verona, I’m definitely going there again!!!

Beautiful Italian restaurant with friendly staff, small space but well decorated ambiance. Food is very good pastas 4.5/5 but deserts snd wines are one of the best I have ever tried. I will highly recommended to take this restaurant for lunch or dinner when in Verona 😊

Quite good food however pasta with clams was full of small pieces of shell what was very dangerous to eat. Pasta with mushrooms was missing some salt and truffle taste. Pasta with leek and sausage definitely a highlight here. Good location, few tables outside and many more inside.

This great restaurant is located close to piazza bra, on a side street. The food is delicious and is served quickly. They have local foods from the Veneto region. Salads, meats, pastas, wines, all delicious. Order via a tablet. Dogs welcome inside. No reservations needed if you eat before 17:00.

This place hits all the marks for us. Cosy, inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. Temperature was perfect on a rather hot day outside. Noise level was low with soft music. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We had two types of pasta, some seafood and desert, and all were amazing. They have an excellent selection of wine as well. Go here, eat great food, drink great wine, and be happy.

The best place in Verona to have dinner! It's my third time and I've always left very happy, especially the steaks and the local wines are excellent. I would also like to pay attention to these two people whose photos I have shared. Every time I have been there they have been very helpful and gave me valuable suggestions. I don't know their names but thank you very much. See you next month! Ciao!

Molto bene 🥰✨ A friend recommended this place and I loved it! Really charming and down-to-earth Osteria, in contrast to the many more touristy places in Verona. Super popular though so make sure to book - there are tables outside as well. I went for one of the truffle pasta dishes and a glass of Amarone wine, of course! Generous portions, high-quality and good value. What's more, really friendly team that were attentive and efficient Grazie mille 🍷

Great place for an authentic diner after a busy day of exploring and shopping in Verona. The restaurant is small and quaint with a modern approach to ordering which is done via a tablet. The local charcuterie and cheese platter with mushrooms was a fantastic way to start our meal. The pasta were perfectly cooked with traditional local offering. Prices were very fair and service was efficient. I definately suggest this place if you are looking for authentic nothing over the top fancy dining.

Hard review 😌 The positives first: Staff is very welcoming and the ambience is nice. I really enjoyed the food: super tasty 😋. Can’t give 5 stars because i found the “order via a tablet” a very impersonal approach which conflicts with the rest of the experience which is very cosy. Also found the need to constantly ask to close the room (9 degrees outside) a bit frustrating after 3-4 times. Overall would recommend and I’d personally visit again 🙏

Simply amazing. To order food we had to use tablet like device and on this vase we can do it in personal pace and explore everything offered. Meat was super great and delicious. Desert was fantastic and left amazing thoughts of restaurant.

Delicious food, lovely staff and great atmosphere. It is also open in the afternoon after 14:30 so if you have a late lunch this is the place! The asparagus was so delicious, so full of taste, carbonara was also really tasty, would recommend it all day!

This place is perfect to try traditional dishes from the Region which we tasted, we had the gnocchi with horse meat and spaghetti with duck meat. One thing we didn't like was portions were too small, they are for soemone with not a lot of hunger. Another thing which disliked us a little bit was service was 5 euro for two persons, way too much compared to other places.
David Vazquez — Google review
The food was excellent, and I wholeheartedly recommend it! I forgot to take pictures of the food. I would give 4 stars for the atmosphere due to the introduction of tablets for ordering – in Italy, the story of the dish is part of the experience. Just be prepared for a very cozy and intimate setting; it's all part of the atmosphere.
Adriana Carmen Imbarus — Google review
Very good atmosphere, but if you have a table on the second floor, be very careful with the ceiling, it is very low; I liked the decoration since they have reused the wine box and it looks really nice. The attention was good, but we had problems with the theme of the menu on the tablet, for example, some dishes arrived earlier and some simply didn't arrive, and the waitress had to ask for them with her device, and this one honestly didn't have much patience (the waitress) there must be older people who do not know how to deal with these technologies, please be patient. But finally, the food has been very very good 👌🏻
