Art Museums
The Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts houses an impressive collection of paintings, although not large in size. The museum provides a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere for art appreciation. Visitors can explore the various exhibitions and also participate in interactive games and quests organized by the friendly staff, particularly for children during New Year's holidays. It should be noted that the building's condition is a disappointment, but this issue falls outside the scope of the museum itself.
Love it! I have visited it twice.

(Translated by Google) Double impression. The building is beautiful, you can look at the pictures once. But everything around is so unkempt, Soviet, uncomfortable and not beautiful. The building is broken inside and out, paintings and statues are not presented at all, only short plates and no information except. The staff at the checkout is kind, but in the halls they look at you like a wolf and can’t really tell anything about the exhibits. But it won't be cheap to go there with the family. In general, a weak C grade and regret that such a beautiful house, which itself is the property of art, the Museum can not bring to its proper form.

(Translated by Google) The museum has an excellent, although not large, collection of paintings. In small cozy rooms it is very easy and pleasant to enjoy art. Indeed, there is something to see. In addition, employees organize various interactive games and quests for children. Details can be found in the museum. There are definitely children's programs on New Year's holidays, but throughout the year, I don't know. The staff is friendly, it was a pleasure to be a guest. The only depressing thing is the condition of the building. But these questions are no longer for the museum...

(Translated by Google) An excellent guide talks very interestingly about the paintings of Russian masters. I was struck by the abundance of famous artists whose works are presented in Rostov: Aivazovsky, Kuindzhi, Bryullov, Levitsky, Vereshchagin, Polenov, Serov, Levitan, Shishkin, Kramskoy, Savrasov... the list is not complete. We would like the museum to make larger signs with captions under the paintings, or at least hang them a little further from the frame that covers the text. It would be ideal to be nearby, but there is no room there at all. And I would like to popularize such wealth: like in the Tretyakov Gallery - postcards, notebooks, calendars with reproductions.

Nikolai Ostrovsky Recreation Park is an urban park that was established in 1894. Spanning across 63 hectares, it boasts a variety of attractions such as carnival rides, miniature trains, and biking paths. The park is ideal for families looking for a place to spend quality time together. Though somewhat disorganized, the park continues to improve with each passing year.
The horrible experience was to charge my phone (which is impossible to do while on a bus) and to nearly miss my bus (Rostov- Yalta, run by Granit) which was pulling off without warning.

In June 2013, during the groundbreaking for the stadium, five shells from WWII were found, almost perfectly preserved.[5] In August 2013, work began on the sandy alluvium foundation for the stadium.[6] Work on the foundation was completed in May 2014. Construction commenced on the stadium substructure in October 2015. In December the construction site began to bring in heavy equipment and construction materials. In January 2015, crews began driving piles.[7] In March 2015, the stadium project was revised, reducing the cost of construction to 3 billion rubles.[8] In the summer of 2015 pile driving was completed and superstructure construction began. In December 2015, work began on the installation of the metal roof frame.[9] In July 2016 work on the concrete stadium bowl began. In addition, builders started construction of the facade and began landscaping the adjacent territory to the stadium. In November 2016 the reinforced concrete work of the stadium main bowl was fully completed and the installation of load bearing roof structures began.[10] On December 22, 2017 the construction of the stadium was completed.[11] On April 15, 2018 the stadium hosted its first game between FC Rostov and FC SKA-Khabarovsk.[5] The stadium was officially opened on May 13, 2018, with a friendly football match between the FC Rostov and FK Ural.[12]

Makaronka is a contemporary art center in Rostov that houses an experimental theatre called 'Theatre 18+', exhibition space, artist's studios, a bookstore, and a souvenir shop. (Translated by Google) There are not many places in Rostov that are really worth visiting. The art center’s convenient opening hours allow you to come to interesting evenings after a hard day (for me it’s a real problem to see something, all exhibitions in the city are open until 6 pm). I advise you to periodically monitor the schedule on the page, the guys update it. The center hosts exhibitions, readings, and sometimes ambient musical evenings. In the same building there is an independent youth “Theater 18+”, I also highly recommend taking a closer look at the productions and brightening up a boring Rostov evening.

This is one of the most atmospheric and enjoyable gastronomic exoeriences in Rostov on Don. Outwardly, the restaurant is unassuming and low-key: It doesn't scream "fashionable" or trendy. But at the same time it manages to be modern, inviting, comfortable and "homey" at the same time. The food is wonderful, the staff is extremely professional. The meals are presented well and brought out quickly. The atmosphere is fitting bith for families with small children, and for individuals looking for a fine-dining experience. We come here every time we drive though Rostov, and have yet to experience anything but a perfect evening at the restaurant. Highly recommended, 5/5. Prices are on the higher end by local standards, average for Moscow, low by European standards. Bathrooms are very clean, interior is nicely appointed. "The Cow" restaurant in Rostov is a lively and bustling establishment, offering a delightful ambience that is not necessarily quiet. However, this adds to the overall charm of the place. The food served here is truly exceptional, both in terms of taste and presentation. Nice presentation and great service. They welcome you with a shot of Samagon (Cossack Vodka variant) and Black bread with Salo. Food is very well prepared. Pick a gazebo by the Don and you will like the entire evening. Fantastic.

Outstanding traditional kosak restaurant. Meals are incredible and very tasty. Friendly staff dressed in kosak gear. Romantic setting in cosy park by the river. Awesome place - I recommend!

Great food. Great music. If you don't mind a few shady characters, its worth a visit.

Popular place to have dinner in local style. But more touristic. Also prices are more expensive than other places around.
