Sights & Landmarks
The Old Bazaar in Skopje is a popular tourist destination with its beautiful architecture and mix of Ottoman and European culture. It's the perfect place to find antique items at incredibly low prices, as well as enjoy a variety of precious gold jewelry. The market also offers a fascinating mix of modern and ancient technology, handmade crafts, luxury jewelery and more.
Lovely area for spending some quality time in central Skopje indoors and out. Lots of amazing architecture of various sorts in and around the Old Bazaar too from churches to mosques to museums and shops, restaurants, coffee shops and more. It's all winding streets so ambling is your best bet. Go, explore, get lost and find yourself again later.
Lewis Mindy — Google review
Located in the heart of Skopje, a place rich with history and cultural heritage. Warm and welcoming to tourists. Local food abounds as well as fashion, jewelry and anything you can primarily think of. Amazing and a sight to see. Just like any busy tourist place. Watch your belongings and keep safe.
Prince Andrew Ardayfio — Google review
The Old Bazar is a must see when in Skopje. Dating back to the 12th century, this is a place full of life filled with culture and history. Filled with shops, restaurants, cafes, mosques, and museums. You can transform your self back to a day gone by filled with people enjoying a day out and or earning a living for them or their families. See little shops with tiny apartments above where people would work during the day and live their lives at night. See the old bath houses. Just an amazing place. I loved my visit.
Michael Mack — Google review
Old part of town that surprised me with its size, I expected something tiny, but then got lost in a maze of streets before managing to find my way. Here you can find basically everything you need as a tourist for really good prices. The best local food is also found here, look no further.
Ivica Lazi? — Google review
A great selection of small winding streets with a wide range of shops and restaurants. One of the nicest aspects is that none of the shop keepers are forceful or hassle you when walking past, and it doesn’t have any of the expected pressure you’d imagine when reading up on the area. There’s clearly a lot of history and some nice monuments as you’re passing through, and with plenty of cafes and restaurants you can easily spend a whole day exploring at a leisurely pace. Definitely one of the highlights of the city.
Steve Bintley — Google review
Kind and warm people. Old ottoman vibes. Best area for traditional foods. We visited in December and the weather was being dark around 5 pm. Shops are closing earlier and many of them do not serve on Sunday. If you be careful about timing
Muberra — Google review
Nice vibrant heritage bazar, good for food and shopping. A lot of places selling good foods and plenty of shops. You will find nice suites for men’s and well as gown for women’s and beautiful gold jewellery’s.
Mohi Uddin — Google review
This is the “Old Town”, historic pedestrian area of Skopje, across the Stone Bridge, headed away from the main square, below the fortress. Lots of meandering cobblestone alleys, & interesting stores selling antiques & souvenirs & other bric-a-brac. It’s completely dead/ semi-closed on Sundays (don’t bother), but during the week, it’s jammed full of folks shopping, & others selling their wares. At the far end, there’s a big central market that’s really interesting to check out. Lots of fresh fruits & vegetables, along with locally sourced meats & fish & nuts & mushrooms & stuff. The perimeter is lined with small make-shift vendor store-fronts, if you want to buy cheap goods & lots of pirated knock-offs. Has a bit of a sketchy vibe, & there are plenty of Roma begging in the area, which can get a little depressing. Keep a close eye on your goodies, as this looks like a prime place to get pick-pocketed (though I thankfully had no issues, personally). A “must see” in Skopje, as it’s been here forever, & while the goods being sold may have changed, the concept of a major commercial hub for the area, has not.
adrian m (Minimogul) — Google review
Amazing!!! Went there few times. A mix of culture and ambiance. Use all your senses when you walk around. Different languages, prayers from mosque and church ring, all products. Very organized and clean. Evening strolls are the best. Despite being popular tourist spot, the prices are local unlike other such places in countries.
Rahul Kurup — Google review
The Old Bazaar is by night still full of life and is definitely worth going to. While some of the narrow streets are empty and the shops are clothed, there are some still full of life. People drinking, eating, playing, and one can enjoy the beautiful combination of the dark night and lights. It felt perfectly safe to roam the Old Bazaar even though we sometimes we did not see any person in some of the narrow streets. !The only watch-out are the stray cats and dogs! Also: locals recommended to not go up to the castle by night, so we definitely did not do that.
Niklas Gatz — Google review
A nice place to walk around, the deeper into the market the cheaper. You have to watch out for vendors who often want to sell more expensive just because you are a tourist. You can see the multiculturalism in this place and that's cool
Kitsune — Google review
Definitely worth a trip here. Walk over from the Alexander the Great statue in the middle of town over the old stone bridge and then walk through the old bazaar - it’s got a Middle Eastern, North African vibe going on. Lots of restaurants and shops and just overall good ambiance. Different to the other parts of the city. Cool vibes here!

One of the coolest attractions in Skopje is great Old Bazaar, where you can buy literally everything. Balkan cheese, sausage, rakija, fruit, clothes... A must-see and shop for me 🤩 Great place, payment by cash only
Monika Karlińska — Google review
It is a very authentic region. There are touches of Turkish culture everywhere. The meatballs they call kebab are amazing. You can eat at Kozmos restaurant or Destan Restaurant. You should definitely try Trileçe dessert, one of the important flavors of the region.
Cuneyt Mumcu — Google review
Easy shopping market to maneuver, great Turkish tea spots a lot of eatery places and jewelry shops and one can easily purchase a couple of things there. There is a side with all sorts of vegetables and fruits. It was really enjoyable to walk around the place.

Nice old bazar on a cobblestone old city roads , transits you to old era , has cute traditional csfes. Gold jewellery shops, se real handicrafts, carpets, souvenirs shops alongside the roads. Nice mosques & churches nearby . Several tiny lanes to walk & explore. Very enjoyable experience overall .

Very beautiful place where you can find everything you need: food, tea, coffee, sweets, gold, presents and so on and so forth. And good prices. People are also very pleasant.

Its still an adventure….. a great walk if you take your time and check out some of the shop windows. This old part of the city never ceases to amaze me with its old look….. Destan “the original “ is still there…. Entrance on side now but kebab is exceptional as always. Washed down with a cold Skopsko, perfect

The Millennium Cross is a tall, 66-meter-high (217-foot) memorial cross in Skopje, Macedonia, erected in 2002 to commemorate 2,000 years of Christianity throughout the world. The impressive structure stands at 1,066 meters (3,497 feet) above sea level and features a breathtaking view of the surroundings.
Went on hiking on this beautiful day. Some of the parts were a bit slippery due to some ice still stuck on the side of the mountain. Overall the hike was a nice getaway from the smog below. I do recommend to bring hiking sticks or boot chains if it is still 🥶.
Francis Esposo — Google review
The Millennium Cross on Vodno Mountain in Skopje is on a hill visible from all over the city. Take the cable car to the top of this hill, which is approximately 1500 meters above sea level, and enjoy the view. There is a wonderful picnic area and a small church where the cable car starts.
Cuneyt Mumcu — Google review
Best view of the city, and the valleys in all directions. Depending on the time of year a sweater as the temperature drops quite a bit at the top. The gondola only seems to operate the first 30 minutes of each hour, then shuts down. So you have 30 minutes at the top minimum. Not to be missed of you are anywhere near Skopje.
Mark Draper — Google review
The millennium cross is an impressive installation at the top of the mountain, it’s truly huge. What let’s it down is the bizarre presence of a telecom tower right next to it, why on earth would anyone approve that installation, it could have gone anywhere on the mountain, but for whatever reason, someone thought let’s -op this here so photographers need to be creative trying to capture it.
Spencer Hawken — Google review
The views are awesome. But if you don't like hiking, I recommend to check if the cable car is working that day as we went by walk to the middle to get another half by cablecar, but it was not working, so we walked another about 6km up to find out everything was closed so we could not buy a much needed water (40°C). The hike was worth it, just be prepared with your drinks and energy :-)
Kristyna — Google review
The Millennium Cross is located on top of the mountain just south of Skopje with awesome views of the city and its surroundings. The hike up there is easy and rewarding and about 5 km long for one way. The cross itself is a monument of steel and has lots of lamps to shine in the night.
Henry — Google review
Nice place with an amazing view on Skopje. You can reach the top by foot or by cable car/ lift. We hiked up to the lift station and payed ~200 MKD per Person to go up and down (round-trip). You can stay on top as long as you want. There is a kiosk/ coffee place located near the cross.
David Schwab — Google review
Cool visit. Be careful, parking lot by cable car is paid but no signs in English. They will boot your car and ask for inflated ticket cost. Make sure you ask around to pay! The city should really replace or add to the signs for a national attraction
E C — Google review
Always good to walk up and let your mind refresh. It can be slippery in Fall on the way down if you get on the smaller paths without mountain shoes. But nothing dangerous.
Giel Verbeeck — Google review
Impressive cable car ride to the top of the mountain. Experience slightly hampered by a scramble for toilets and parking. Beware parking in the official car park requires some local app so we had to abandon the car at the side of the road somewhere.
Iain Clark — Google review
There is a great view of the whole city Skopje and the hills near. You can get there by cable car.
Karol Mi? — Google review
Great views and very good price! Paid 400MKD for 4 adults taking the cable car. Was our last day in Skopje and were travelling to the Airport after so didn't have time to hike up, if we would have had the time I think hiking up would be the best experience but the view was breathtaking so I'm very happy we went!
Tanja Pegard Georgsson — Google review
It's closed to get up, or at least I understand it was once possible... I am not a big fan of crosses of any size or meaning, but this is very interesting because it's really big. The view from the hill to the city is great. If you want to hike you can hike up, down (or both) or you can save one (or both) ways by a cable car. Just the time table of the cable car remains a mystery for me...
Zdeněk Šmejkal — Google review
Vodno is Skopje's nature getaway where you can spend the day hiking or simply enjoying the Vodno views. There is a marked path from middle Vodno to the Cross which takes 1 - 1.30 hours to climb or you can take the cable car and you will be up there in no time.
Sneska Ilikj — Google review
Great ride up to the cracker cross on the cable cars. Very efficient ride. Not as well maintained and lacks services for tourists. Needs better maintenance. It requires tickets about 10.
JD A — Google review
A perfect place on the map of Skopje. A vantage point, a place to rest or good iced coffee. The cable car is an additional attraction. Moderate prices. It is worth checking the hours of operation of the bus 25.
Dariusz Wachowiak — Google review
Super worth it! but make sure you get the cable car down before 16:40! good thing: they accept debit cards !
Stefanny Officiati — Google review
The cable car is the only nice part of the area, beyond that the stalls in the parking lot are shabby, the toilets in the parking lot are dirty and smelly, at the top everything is dirty, rusty, neglected, a terrible waste of time.

Restaurant
This upscale restaurant in Skopje offers a variety of Italian dishes prepared with fresh ingredients, all of which are mouth-watering. The outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the beautiful cityscape while they eat, and the service is impeccable. There is also free wifi available.
Amazing Italian food in Skopje, that's the way I would describe my meal at Vodenica Mulino. The place itself has a beautiful interior, the staff is nice and they have a big wine collection to choose from. I had the seafood pasta tagliatelle and I would recommend it to anyone. It was very rich, well seasoned and came with a good portion size. The mixed cheese platter was very good aswell. Overall had a wonderful experience and would love to come back
Bryan Janson — Google review
Pretty much every single dish made here were fantastic. It is no small wonder that the review ratings are so high. Our party sat outdoors to enjoy the cool spring evening. The table was very large, and readily capable of supporting all the food we ordered... And boy did we order. Slice of pecorino cheese. Yum. Salads. Fresh. Mussels in white wine sauce. Plump. Grilled prawns. Heavenly. Baby cow steak. Juicy and tender. Parma prosciutto. Authentic. Rakia. Smooth and strong. Coffee. Robust and tasty. Need I go on? The garden setting created a great atmosphere for our group. The waiter was competent and speedy with orders and refills. He was stunned by how much we ate. Come eat here. Your won't regret it.
Tong Yi Tsui — Google review
I think they did a good job making Italian food. If you never had any Italian food then you will be satisfied. Their lava cake was delicious. They had good service. The atmosphere is great, but I wish they had a separate section for smoking. I had to move because the guy behind me was smoking cigar. But this seems to be everywhere in Skopje and hopefully they change this.
Aria Bak — Google review
Great place, nice staff, relaxing environment, delicious food. Prices are OK, although lots of cheaper restaurants can be found around. Toplo Ladno (Lava cake) was delicious, such as the minestrone soup and the veal. The hamburger (pleshkavica) was not the best so far, but it was ok. Card is accepted, no WIFI.

Great food, very tasty! However, there are smokers everywhere, so it's hard to breathe sometimes.

This place is just phenomenal. We came here on a recommendation from a friend from Skopje and we were amazed with what this restaurant offers. Authentic ambient, beautiful terrace, traditional food, great red wine,.. we highly recommend it and we will come again. Many many thanks!
Sanja Milovic — Google review
The restaurant has very good reviews, so we definitely wanted to try it. We didn't make a reservation, but we could get a table. I wasn't very pleased with the waitress woman lack of kindness, maybe we got her in the wrong moment. We waited for a menu maybe 10 minutes, while nobody looked at us. But the waiter guy was friendly and smiley. And the food is AMAZING. I saw a review about a Sicilian pasta, so I didn't hesitate, it was my choice. It was really, really good. My friend chose a pasta with shrimps, also good. Its a bit more expensive than the restaurant next to it, I don't say this one is better, but it certainly fancier. Both are great, visit both!
Bernadett Surányi — Google review
A beautiful restaurant with a calming outdoor area for traditional dining in Skopje. We dined on a very warm day, but with the breeze and fans, it was comfortable outdoors. They have a wonderful wine list and the food was excellent, service was attentive with great staff. Started out with a lovely fresh salad, followed by perfectly cooked Tagliata, it was delicious. The restaurant was definitely a local hotspot and full of businessmen and was the place to be. Definitely recommend, very good pricing, a little above most, but absolutely worth it.
Sal Schmidt — Google review
We decided to go to this restaurant after listening for years about how good it is. I fortunately our expectations fell flat. The food was nothing special, service was bad and they gave us cutlery that was all bended and dirty. The place might have been a hot restaurant in the past but not is an average typical Macedonian restaurant. Nothing special and super expensive for what they offer.

Mexican restaurant
Amigos Mexican restaurant is located in the heart of Skopje, offering delicious Mexican food and drinks. The friendly staff are happy to help you get the best out of your visit. They specialize in tacos and burritos, but also offer some great desserts.
Top place. Delicious food. There is a waiter who’s name is Ile (ile) he is very well mannered, respectful and helpful. Be nice and make sure you tip him! The salad was fresh. There are different cocktails (alcoholic and non alcoholic). Fine atmosphere. Recommended if you’re into Mexican food. 👍
Dache — Google review
This restaurant is a hidden gem, I did not expect to find so many vegan options in Skopje. Also the waiter was extremely polite and had a great memory. Everyone visiting Skopje should definitely pay a visit here!
Madalina Grama — Google review
A lot of great food options, there is something for everybody. I really liked the avocado + beetroot starter. The service was fast as well. Overall it is one of my favorite places for lunch in Skopje.
Mirjana Ristovska — Google review
Food was decent, server was friendly as well. Didn’t take long after ordering. Says authentic Mexican Food, but only has a few items on the menu that are similar; yet, they did lack some flavour. Overall a decent place, especially with the price.
Eric Geary — Google review
My favorite place in Skopje. The food is excellent and not greasy. The range of dishes is large and the services is very good. I had the salad Amigos, my partner the chicken with sage sauce. We shared corn fritters as a starter and took bread an jalapeños on the side. With a coke and a mocktail. 22 euro.
Melanie Huyghe — Google review
Excellent service. The food is great and the quality is always the same. They probably have the best churros I all of Skopje. A bit pricier compared to other restaurants in the area but definitely worth it. The staff is very friendly and the wait time is very short.
V — Google review
This place was pretty good. I wouldn't consider it Mexican really, more Spanish with some Tex-Mex options, but it satisfies the craving. Very good juices and cocktails, good vegetarian options.
Colleen Goodrich — Google review
Decent Mexican food for this part of the world. The guacamole and corn fritters were very good. Taco and burr were okay, also the pork in both of them was very dry and chewy. Margaritas were nice
????? ??????? — Google review
Accidentally stumbled upon this gem last night. We arrived to the city late and they were the only place open. Although the kitchen was already closed, the lovely staff still managed for us to have dinner. We also had some cocktails and these. were really good! I also spotted some vega(n) options which is great!
A?shyta Qhiarra Sichtman — Google review
Great restaurant located my in the center of Skopje. Waiters really nice and food was GREAT! Salads are really fresh, well garnished, good taste and believable me, you will be full! We ordered also the Veggie quesadillas, 4 melty and delicious tortillas with crunchy grilled vegetables. (Only 2 in the picture as we ate them directly!) Cocktails look nice but we ordered fresh orange juice 😅 next time. I will definitely come back.
maria paula bravo luna — Google review
This restaurant attempts to emulate the Tex-Mex/Margarita eateries that originated in the southwestern United States. As someone who is from that part of the world, I must say that it does fall short. That said, it is doing an admirable job with the limited ingredients that I'm sure are available here in Macedonia. However, beyond its attempt at quasi-mexican food, all of the offerings I sampled and that I saw being placed on other tables looked scrumptuous. Then again, the three traditional margaritas I consumed may have skewed my perception! Anyway, the two gentlemen that waited on us had great humor and seemed sincerely interested in our satisfaction. The people at other cables around us were a lot of fun as well. I would definitely return.
alan r. smith — Google review
Very good service, funny people and good size of food. Nothing was very spicy or extremely seasoned but you have spices on the table. Also a huge selection of margaritas.
David Lemberg — Google review
Visited this place 4 times during our week stay in Skopje. All the food was very nice. Staff friendly. And after trying some cocktails around the city this was the place with the most delicious and proper drinks in the city. Additional plus is that there was no people smoking cigarettes in the restaurant which is allowed in most places around the city. Here the music was nice the place was very nice and clean and staff was super friendly coming with really good recommendations for food orders. Highly recommend this place.
Victoria Spiewak — Google review
Place so good you have to go twice. We went twice for dinner in three days. The food is delicious and not too expensive. I recommend the chimichangas (chicken & beef) and the tacos. They have a large drinks card (I recommend the mango lemonade) and the service is fast and friendly, which is not always the case in Skopje. Lovely atmosphere and great music.
Matthijs Flamand — Google review
The food was very delicious. Apart from the food, there is also a DJ performance, really successful.

Pelister is a popular restaurant in Skopje that specializes in Italian and Mediterranean dishes. It's often crowded, so reservations are recommended. The restaurant has a full bar and offers free wifi. There is also outdoor seating available.
I love this restaurant I keep coming back. It is in the centre of Skopje and the quality of the food is excellent. It is cheap but worth it. There is a hotel there too but it is currently under restoration but I have been there many times over the years and it is a great hotel that’s cheap as well. It is clean and comfy, it is directly above the restaurant and is one flight of stairs above. I highly recommend this place to eat and stay at.

Location And service was really nice. But food was just average. We had steaks And both were too greasy. Also grilled vegetable wasnt grilled but fried in burn oil. In general, I expect better taste.

We came to the restaurant on our first evening in Skopje… And what a fun welcoming it was! Excellent restaurant, large and tasty dishes with a wide variety of options. The waiters were very nice and spoke English. Really recommend! In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Skopje.

I arrived in North Macedonia, and in the city center I was recommended by locals to go try the restaurant Pelister. I sat and ate, all I can say is the staff is very polite and fantastic, and the atmosphere is majestic. You can see the great Alexanders statue from the restaurant view. Absolutely stunning view and menu, recommend to anyone coming to Skopje the first time.

This restaurant knows what they're doing. Pretty much all the food in Macedonia is excellent, but Pelister stands out from the rest. The place is beautiful, with plenty of seating, and the staff are professional and efficient. Everything we ate there was exceptional.

It was the best place we tried in Uskup for food and atmosphere. The service was very good. Everyone was friendly. We had the chance to try it on the last night of our last day. I wish we had come here first. I was as much interested in the food going to the other tables as I was in my own table :) it was the best restaurant we went to in the city. The prices were also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it.

Restaurant Pelister has some of the best lasagna in the city! The sirloin beef steak was delicious as well and the pizza looks amazing! The atmosphere is that of a busy boulevard with plenty seating for large groups! Although the restaurant was full on a Wednesday night around dinner time soft conversations around the table could still be heard and intimate! And the beer is cold and fresh! What more could you ask for in a date night!??

Nice restaurant with excellent menu. Great location - right on Macedonia Square. I really enjoyed the bread with kaymuk. It was traditionally prepared and tasted absolutely divine. But be prepared to wait about 20 to 30 minutes or so. The Forest Mushroom pasta was delicious as well. The eggplant starter was so tasty. The flavors were well completed. The salad was fresh and crisp. All in all a lovely dining experience. The service was warm and friendly.

Good food! The recommendations of the staff suited our wants. The staff was very hospitality minded. Ambiance is ok. But the food 100/10!

The waiter was disrespectful and rude. It was extremely funny that he commented to me that my English was bad because he didn't understand me. My English is very good and I am doing a master's degree in English. I may be tired or my mind may be elsewhere. I invite you to be a little understanding. Even if my English is bad, who gives you the right to make such a comment? I really didn't understand. As for food, I didn't like lasagna at all. Pizza Margherita was nice. That’s all.

I'm not sure why this review opportunity is for the hotel, when the restaurant is the primary destination for most people. Nonetheless, I and a friend had a fantastic lunch here. Especially noteworthy who was the grilled vegetable salad which was warm with some kind of creamy, dreamy sauce.... and a really special pizza that had blue cheese, honey mustard, and some kind of thinly sliced meat. It was awesome. We also had some spaghetti bolognese, two beers, and two glasses of liqueur. The total bill was about U$S 25. Given the perfect location next to Macedonia Square, it is a very fair price to ask. Our kindly waiter Igor was very informative to us newcomers, and very attentive to our needs as customers. Two thumbs up to this restaurant. As a bit of and addendum, I will continue to attach photos of food, without commentary, as I continue to visit this wonderful restaurant. I do have one criticism, however. I use the internet a lot and the system here is very dysfunctional. Reminds me of internet access back in the 1990s. Given the size of this place and it's revenue stream, perhaps it's time to consider investing in a new, large, high speed router. Your clientele will thank you!

Distrikt is a stylish, relaxed restaurant with a Josper grill that produces delicious dishes from both eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. The bar on the ground floor of the Skopje Marriott Hotel is one of the hottest places to be in town, perfect for enjoying drinks and food with friends.
If you ever find yourself in Skopje, North Macedonia absolutely eat at Distrikt. The food is excellent, the ambiance is lovely and the service is great. We ate here on several occasions while in Skopje and still miss it.

Excellent service! Very fresh food with great quality, signature cocktails are also amazing. Highly recommend, you won’t miss it as it just locates in the main square.

If you are visiting Skopje and are aching for culinary responsible food and a metropolitan experience you need to visit Distrikt. I only sampled starters in two days; tuna tartare, foie gras and beef tartare on bone marrow.

You can create your own salad. You can choose many other stuff and it is not overpriced. I need to mention that THIS Burger was really delicious. The waiters are funny and kind. I would go out to eat there again

An excellent place to enjoy your breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner! We (2 adults and two children) had both breakfast and dinner at this place and we were impressed by the professionalism and fast service its staff exhibited. Its non smoking area makes it a very rare finding nowadays, and also a valuable feature for families with kids. The ambience and decoration were very elegant and the food was both reasonably priced and of high quality. There is an abundance of food choices (both contemporary and local cuisines) and a variety of hot and cold beverages to choose from and cover every taste. Well done, Distrikt! We are definitely coming back! (Jan. 2023) Jan. 2024.. and once more we are back to this lovely place for breakfast. Once again it didn't disappoint us with its top quality food and fine dining ambience. Staff were professionals as usual. 5 stars again! Keep it up!

A great outdoor terrace in Macedonian Square, along with a very modern large indoor dining space. A quick cocktail was all we had time for, on a scorching 40-degree day. There were ample fans on the terrace to keep you cool from the heat, and air conditioning indoors if you were to enjoy a meal. The cocktails were great, they had a great selection and had no issues when ordering off the menu, and the staff was lovely. We reviewed the menu, lots of delicious options, along with being well priced for an establishment part of the Marriott Hotel.

District is a true gem for fine dining. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm and sophisticated ambiance that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu features an array of exquisite dishes, each one crafted with the finest ingredients and expert technique. The flavors were beautifully balanced, and each bite was more delicious than the last. The service was impeccable and the waitstaff were knowledgeable about the menu, offering expert recommendations and making sure every aspect of the meal was top-notch. Overall, District is a must-visit for anyone looking for a sophisticated and memorable dining experience in Skopje.

The vibes of the restaurant was nice. Got the Dragon drink from the cocktail menu and it was great. The calamari was nice too, got that for appetizers.

Distrikt is in the back lobby of a hotel on the square in Skopje (great location), and the interior is groovy. We just had craft cocktails (excellent), hummus, and truffle fries - the dips for the truffle fries were soooo good, and the fries were perfect! I would order that again every day of the week. The service was excellent, highly recommend!

Lovely place centrally located, a bit on an expensive side compared to other restaurants in Skopje. Still, other restaurants in Skopje are not actual competition to a Marriott facility, so all is well. The quality of the offered food is at the expected level. The cheesecake was above the expected level. Nice.

Lunch at this restaurant was our highlight of the trip. The ambience, the food, drinks and service was spectacular. Special thanks to Naum who made sure that we feel welcomed and provided the best service for us. Must try: tuna tattaki and shrimp croquettes. Local Prosecco was amazing too. After our meal we moved to the lounge zone to enjoy our coffee. Thank you and we will be back on our next trip to Skopje ☺️

It was worth the money. The meat was a bit chewy, but that might be because I didn't slice it small. I was very satisfied.

Love the atmosphere and service at this restaurant. It’s classy and modern, but also still casual. Very friendly. You can sit indoors or in the outdoor extension. The grilled food especially is excellent! The food is European and not specifically Macedonian but I’ve loved everything I’ve tried so far… especially the branzino

Beef carpaccio was outstanding. Beef tartaire was also good. My friends really like the Burger and Expresso Martinis. I expected more from the cocktails though (Fairy). Overall very enjoyable experience

Great filet mignon and wine. If you're looking for a great meal with upbeat staff, here is a great choice. I'm looking forward to having the filet again. The sauces for the fries were also good, and the za'atar butter with bread

Delicious! My husband and I had lunch a few days ago and I can't stop thinking about the incredible and pretty unique tartare we have at Distrikt. The portions of the food are very generous in addition to being tasty. I recommend a 100% 👍🏻💛.

Fitness House is a health-conscious restaurant that specialises in fitness nutrition. The brightly coloured menu features salads, wraps, pasta dishes and burgers. There are plenty of healthy choices and the staff are polite and welcoming. The Veggie Burger is delicious and worth trying, while the Pomodoro pasta isn't that great.
Delicious breakfast-guild free! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner so there is great healthy option for any time of the day. American pancakes are the absolute winner , creamy, packed with protein but just if not more tasty than regular pancakes. Highly recommend. Great food option in Skopje.

I've been a loyal customer for three years in a row and tried to ignore a few order mistakes in the last year, but this is it. Congrats, you just lost a customer. We ordered Turkey Classic and got chicken instead with a few pieces of veggies (to be more specific, two broccoli flowers and two carrot slices with poorly cooked rice). Thanks for the balanced diet, but I'm not a bird. The previous order was two burgers, and we got one small portion of fries instead of two. We've always paid the correct price, regardless of the mistaken orders. Your meals were always adequately planned in the past years, and I've NEVER received a wrong order. Sadly, this has changed. If you care about your reputation, you might want to take a look at your management or business principles!

Burger was okay but nothing special, the salad was good but again nothing special. Tomato soup on the other hand I would not recommend. It was cold (it was not written on the menu it would be served cold) and seemed to have a significant taste of soda/ sparkling water. Made feel very bloated and gave the soup a weird taste. Overall, wouldn’t mind coming back for the salad but otherwise not so great. Place itself was clean and with nice and friendly people working.

Love this place! The Veggie Burger (with potato patty) is simply divine and I had it two days in a row. The servers were all polite as well. (PS. The Pomodoro pasta, on the other hand, isn’t that great or worth the money).

The food is good, but only if you order for home. Yet, the “healthy place is full of cigarette smoke, and the place is understaffed. We ordered twice takeaway so we pick up our food, then had to wait another 30 mins in a place full of smoke.
Olimpija Zaevska — Google review
The service is TERRIBLE. We waited for 30 minutes for them to take our order and over 40 minutes to be served. No customer service at all. Food is decent but they GOT OUR ORDER WRONG.

I would give you 100 stars if I could. Every dish is made perfect.

Two words for this place - below average. The only reason people go here is because there is not many similar restaurants. The food is always cold by default, the service is slow so the food gets even colder, the salads and burgers are very lazily made and the pasta is just average. On top of this the prices are way too high for this kind of service and they lie about the nutritional values of the food

First time at Fitness House. I had the Beef Up burger and i can say it was a stunner. The juices are great and fresh, nice ambience, only they might need to work little bit on the customer service and their grooming standards. Overall excellent experience 👍🏻👌🏻
