I visited Milan over Easter weekend in 2023, and I'm sharing my experience in the hope that it might help you plan your trip.

Notes

I stayed at iH Hotels Milano Gioia, a 16-minute walk from the 'Istria' metro stop, making the metro my primary mode of transportation during the trip.
Therefore, I purchased three-day metro tickets for 13 euros per person at Milano Centrale Railway Station.
Feel free to check out the hotel I booked here. There are many other options available, but I highly recommend booking a hotel near a metro station, as the Milan metro system works very well.

In the central area of the Gallery, you'll encounter four mosaics depicting the coats of arms of the three capitals of the Kingdom of Italy (Turin, Florence, and Rome), along with the coat of arms of Milan. According to tradition, spinning three times on the heel over the testicles of the bull in the Turin coat of arms brings good luck. Now, while you may not consider yourself superstitious, indulging in this ritual can add a touch of whimsy and cultural immersion to your visit. So go ahead, spin with gusto, and may good fortune follow you on your journey!
