Morro Jable, located on the southern coast of Fuerteventura in Spain's Canary Islands, is renowned for its stunning beaches. One notable beach is Playa del Matorral, which features the Morro Jable Lighthouse and a fascinating sperm whale skeleton. Another highlight is the Morro Jable Wharf, where the Turtle Nursery provides a safe haven for loggerhead turtles before their release into the wild.

Playa del Matorral is a wide sandy beach with sun loungers for rent, a lighthouse, showers, and even a naturist section. Situated near Morro del Jable, this beach and nature reserve are definitely worth a visit if you're looking to spend a day in the surf. What's great about this place is that there are numerous trails that go through the natural reserve and lead to the lighthouse, perfect for those who can't sit still on the beach.
This beach is HUMONGOUS, checking the maps I was thinking " I will park and go walk from one end to the other ". After I parked took me about 5 minutes just to get to the beach. You really can't appreciate how wide and long this beach is only by looking at the maps. Bars on the beach, sun beds, a lighthouse and plenty of sand for you to enjoy in the sun.
Stefan Matache — Google review
Beautiful beach. Quiet and clean but with some cafes and sunbeds etc. Lovely natural wetland and flora/fauna nearby. Stunning location for sunrise and sunset. Really accessible on foot/bike and lots of parking nearby. Shaded from wind for big stretches, but lots of surfing in other parts.
EJ Swanson — Google review
A nice and relaxing beach. No plastic chairs, almost no rocks, a good place for little kids. 😌
Felix Weiss — Google review
Beautiful beach with clear water. For 10€ a day you can even rent sun beds and a parasol wich we didn’t need so I can’t say if that service is good. The only downside is the very strong wind and the water temperature that is quite cold (we were there from mid August to beginning of September). Apart from that it is one of the nicest beaches that we visited in Fuerteventura.
Noemi Bontempo — Google review
Stunning brach with clean turquoise waters and soft sand. I went there in early December, and the water was a little cold but felt more like refreshing and easy to enjoy. It was a windy day, and I had great fun jumping the big waves. Lots of facilities around, bathrooms, parking and shops. We also spotted some cute squirrels on the way to the beach. I would definitely go back.
Caterina Bassano — Google review
Great long sand beach located at the very south of the island. Because of this situation it is a bit shielded against the worse of the wind. The beach is backed by the salt Marsh and the main Morro Jable road. The beach continues all the way into town and up to butihondo
Dave T — Google review
One of the best beaches visited on Fuerteventura. Nice and soft sand and lot of free space. At the end there is a rocky cliff for a good snorkel.
Pavel Š. — Google review
Sandy beach, clear water, bars nearby... Great place to spend a few days in total relaxing mode.
Dušan Kostić — Google review
Stunning beach in the southern part of the island. It is huge and you can easily find a spot to lay down on the sand. Furthermore, there’s a nice choice of shops and beach bars, since Morro Jable is next to it. So far the best beach in Fuerte.
Marco Pagliari — Google review
The beach is perfect. Clear warm ocean and spectacular views. But - it’s not a pleasure to see old naked people walking around, disgusting and gross. It’s a public beach, cover yourselves!!!!
Katerina A. — Google review
A stunning big beach. Not too many tourists so it has a lovely “Canary” vibe. The water is one of the bluest and clearest I’ve ever seen! It is lifeguarded in some areas. Really recommend giving a visit!
Olivia — Google review
Morojable has the nicest beach I've seen in my many trips to the Canary Islands, plus the town has a relaxed and relatively unspoiled by tourists (they're there, just not so many drunken louts as in the south of some other islands). A really lovely little holiday getaway, we loved it.

The Morro Jable Lighthouse, a towering structure standing at 59 meters tall, was constructed in 1991 and is well-known for the beautiful beach and running paths that surround it. The area boasts a vast expanse of sand, which is meticulously maintained and equipped with bars, sand showers, and toilets. This attraction is perfect for families or couples due to its sheer size.
Great scenery, be aware of the tide, the beach can be pretty much non existen with a high tide. The hike is smooth and easy

A lighthouse :) It's not particularly pretty. Could use a coat of paint again. Unfortunately you can't get in. Huge beach. Well maintained. Bars, sand shower, toilets available. Excellent for families and couples as well due to the sheer size ... The see is 20C so not for everyone, but doable, however pretty strong waves,so be careful. Background is great with the hills. Will be back.

the beach is very large, sandy, sunbeds and umbrellas are 4.5€ each, parking is along the street, it's hard to find a free place, it's easy to find because you can see the lighthouse.

The problem on Fuerteventura is the lack of Information for tourists, but on the other hand, spectacular sorroundings, incredibile geography, awsome beaches 😁, and of curse very good main roads

This was very enjoyable, walked the beach from my hotel Magic Life at Jandia towards the ligthouse at Moro Jable - important info there are public toilets next to the lighthouse - the walk along the shore was about 2 miles, not sure exactly, it was very pleasant as one can refresh with beer and easy local meals at Beach Clubs lining the path around the shore, I've stopped for one in every single club, perosnel is very friendly, but they seem shy when one starts talking English, I wish I could learn some Spanish to engage with locals better, would be really great. This took back and forth about 4 hours, on my way back I had to face the tide coming in so previously dry areas were lightly flooded, which was refreshing with light waves up my knees for short parts, for some people however this meant to turn around and go back - not for me though 🙃... it was perfect active afternoon and great exercise for my feet and legs, lower meat turned out to be muscles as well ... It is asking me if ive entered the lighthouse and how long was I waiting - there is no entry into the lighthouse- it is closed and sealed.

Sad that the lighthouse is subject to graffiti. Other than this there is nothing to it. We visited the beach and the cafe. It was very windy in July and there were red flags (no swimming was allowed). As you can see by the pics of the beach, it was beautiful.

Playa de Cofete, located in the windward division of the peninsula, is widely regarded as one of the most desirable beaches in the Canary Islands. This remote and unspoiled stretch of sandy coastline offers sweeping vistas and crystal-clear waters. With a 12-kilometre-long shoreline that remains largely untouched, Playa de Cofete is truly a breathtaking destination worth visiting on Fuerteventura.
One of the most spectacular places on earth the beach is pretty much the whole west coast of Jandia. The beach isn't really for swimming as the Atlantic is crashing straight in but it's the untouched nature of the place due to the poor access. 3 main ways to get here first.is a 2 hour hike from Parking départ randonnée Cofete up over the mountains. Not very difficult tbh. Second is the drive the road which is twisty windy and unpaved. The third is the bus. The bus is a small offroad vehicle which takes about 12 pax
Dave T — Google review
Amazing views, big waves in the ocean. Caution: difficult access via a winding gravel road. No showers on the beach. Definitely worth a visit
J?zef Kaczmarek — Google review
What a place to visit!!! Amazing... Just one thing to get there you need to drive on rocky and dirt road, SUV strongly advised, but getting there in normal car is not impossible ;) Have a look at the pictures and decide for your self :)
Kapitan Rutain — Google review
WOW! I will start with that to summarize. Everything about this wild beach is magnificent, probably one of the best in the world. 1st of all 14 kilometres of country roads circling the volcanoes it's slow and a probably scarry for some but oh my ... The reward at the of the road is out of this world, the feeling you get being there makes you think about creation itself. Millions of years of violent activity, volcanoes, wind, ocean and they have sculpted this! Nature overwhelming right there. Of you are on the island you don't visit this beach you are missing on a rare occasion to feel alive and humble. My camera does not make any justice to the landscape. Big waves are crushing into the sand creating a fuzzy view along the coast. Words are not enough to describe it.
Stefan Matache — Google review
Wonderful beach , you are driving 1 hour from Moro Jable but it worth. Make a stop at the mirador and enjoy the view. If you are lucky and the waves are not so big you can swim in the ocean and enjoy the waves!
Costin Oprea — Google review
World class beach and scenery, absolutely breathtaking. the drive is via stoney road over the mountain. Great views. The sea has powerful waves and currents with no lifeguards
Thomas Catterall — Google review
Playa de Cofete on Fuertaventura offers great views and a huge beach with nice water. However, there are no toilets available and the road to access the beach is terrible. Improvements could include adding facilities such as toilets and better road maintenance. Overall, I recommend visiting for the stunning scenery but be prepared for the lack of amenities.
Mateusz O. — Google review
True nature and amazing view ;) it’s breathtaking. Road is not so easy to reach but you can get there with the car like mini suv. Take one day and go for the trip
Nikos Dzamalis — Google review
Harrowing drive but worth it. We had a whole stretch of gorgeous beach all to ourselves.
Daniel Romlein — Google review
Beautiful wild beach The road is "complex" to get there if you haven't practiced mountain gravel paths ... but otherwise no challenge Sand soft ... waves ... bug waves ... and soooooooo amazing at sunset
David Sutherland — Google review
Beautiful, unique place. Watch out for flat tires. A lot of insurances don´t cover damage to your rental car when you´re offroad! A must see!!!

If you're seeking a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Playa de Cofete is the perfect destination. Located approximately 18 kilometers from Moro Jable, this secluded beach may require an hour's drive through the mountains on a rustic dirt road, but the journey is well worth it for the breathtaking views it offers. The serenity and tranquility of Playa de Cofete makes it a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful retreat. As you navigate the winding path through the mountains, the anticipation builds, and upon arrival, you're greeted by a picturesque coastline that stretches as far as the eye can see. The unspoiled beauty of this beach is simply awe-inspiring. Driving along the dirt road, you'll find yourself surrounded by dumb tourists driving a hatchback as if it were a 4x4 but with magnificent views unfolding before you at every turn. It's an adventure just getting there to be honest. Once you set foot on the soft sands of Cofete, you'll feel as if you've entered a different world. The beach is embraced by dramatic cliffs and rolling hills, creating a natural enclosure that fosters a sense of seclusion. The lack of crowds allows you to relish in the tranquility, where the only sounds you'll hear are the gentle lapping of waves and the soothing whispers of the wind. While Playa de Cofete may be off the beaten path, its remote location is part of its charm. It's a place where you can disconnect from the outside world and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Remember to bring your own supplies, as amenities are limited, but the experience of this untouched paradise is more than worth the preparation. If you're a traveler who appreciates breathtaking views, tranquility, and the allure of an off-the-grid adventure, Cofete beach is a destination that will capture your heart. Prepare for a scenic drive through the mountains, and be rewarded with a beach that feels like a private paradise, far removed from the stresses of everyday life.

Huge beach! I drove with a SUV and thought it was really easy. You drive mostly in gear 1 and 2. Just don't drive to fast. If a local is behind you who drives faster just park in one of the many corners and let them through. You can use any car. The only thing with a small car like the Fiat 500 which I saw a lot is that sometimes there are like hole where you have to drive slowly. Try to make sure that only one tire is in a big hole otherwise you can damage your bumper. We went to Roque del Moro, Villa Winter and Cofete beach. I personally thought that Roque del More was more special than Cofete beach. It's much more deserted than Cofete beach. At least at the beginning of Cofete beach as it 14 km long.

Breathtaking view, one of best beaches that i have visited! Acess to the beach at part where is roque del moro is only for jeeps and cars with big wheels, we got stuck on the road and we were driving a volkswagen t-rock which is not a small car. Definitely worth a visit, set aside at least half a day for this location
Dragana Jakovljevic — Google review
A spectacular wild, untouched beach, stretching many kilometers. Very windy! It's only accessible by dirt roads. There is a bus from Morro Jable two times a day, finding the right bus is super easy :)
Balázs Kecskés — Google review
The road there is not ideal, you will have to drive around 40 minutes on dirt road through hills, but it’s definitely worth it. The beach is long and clean with no hotels / resorts around so you will be only encircled by the nature. Must visit in Fuerteventura.
Timotej Zaťko — Google review
A highlight of Fuerteventura + absolutely beautiful + lonely + public transport connection (bus) ~ this is a natural park. there is no proper infrastructure. Be prepared, if you go by car. Especially if you're driving a rental, since some damages and territories (natural park!) aren't covered. there is a bus. ~ beware of the ocean currents, it is dangerous and there is no safety personal. - unfortunately, there is a lot of dirt, garbage and also signs of car break ins at the general parking space
Nicolás Martínez — Google review
Wow, amazing beach. It looks very natural. The view is breath taking. The beach is quite long. I would not recommend swiming, since the waves very quite strong when I was there. But the road to the beach is amother story. There was no concrete, most of the time you have to avoid holes, rocks and other cars. I would suggest, the most skilled driver should take the driver's seat, also avoid the most busy visiting hours and pick the adequate vehicle for the job.
Marko Intihar — Google review
Cofete beach is southwest of Fuerteventura and can be safely defined as the largest and most beautiful beach in the Canary Islands. Its pristine beauty makes it a true pearl of the entire archipelago so much so that it is periodically used for settings in science fiction films … it is 2h 30’ drive from the north to reach this beauty - last 60’ drive are unpaved off-road where you can keep 30/50km per hour - enjoy your journey
Giovanni Negri — Google review
A must-see in Fuerteventura! Totally! The road to the beach is quite off-road however we managed to get there in Toyota Corolla without any problems. There's also a stunning viewpoint on the way

An amazing endless beach betweenthe Atlantic and the mountains... I've only seen in Australia before. No Hotels, just natur so far your eye can see. You shouldn't swim in the sea. It's very dangerous and not watched. Just enjoy and inhale this beach and have a long walk.

Playa de Sotavento de Jandía is a collection of five secluded beaches, namely La Barca, Risco del Paso, Mirador, Los Canarios and Malnombre. Located at the southernmost tip of Fuerteventura, it boasts of nine kilometers of fine white sand that almost doubles in size during low tides. The beach is known for its wind and kite surfing centers as well as a popular beach bar/restaurant.
5 Stars for for wide it is and the views you can get from a top of a nearby hill. Beware there are no bars or shops, only shop around here is the one for surfers where you can rent/buy equipment. It is a very windy beach with African sand blown on the island constantly from the Sahara desert, the hills around are white/yellow creating the impression you walk in the dunes. You have to visit if in the area.

Shallow lagoon where the tide averages about 2 metres drop from high to low. The beach goes on for about 7 or 8 km and 8s constantly changing from the lagoon constantly filling and emptying. Great beach for all waterworks, sunbathing, or just walking or running. Truly spectacular. Keep any eye for vast area of bird live nesting among the scrub in the lagoon

Big beautiful beach. Fantastic for a walk and for sunbathing. What is special about this beach is, that you can see clearly falling and rising tide, of you stay some hours. And you have therefore laid-open sandbanks surrounded by the sea. 😃

Tapas restaurant

La Bodega de Jandia is a cozy establishment in Morro Jable, offering a selection of seasonal small dishes, wines, and whiskeys. This charming eatery on a cobbled street specializes in country-style Canarian cuisine. Although it may be distant from Corralejo, those who venture here will be rewarded with mouthwatering local delicacies like mousse de gofio and excellent tapas.
The best Tapas bar in Fuerteventura and in Morro Jable, the owner is very accommodating, he explains everything. The food is famous, balanced taste. This is how I imagine the Tapas bar. Five stars is not enough 👍😃 just a reservation, we waited 5 days and we certainly do not regret !!!! Beautiful space, you can sit outside or inside. I definitely recommend !!!!

We ate here last night and the food is amazing. Ramon and his staff make you feel so welcome and part of ‘his house’. We went with his recommendation for the tapas and my husband does not like fish so he did one meat and one fish (octopus) for me all tasted fabulous. The wine lovely. Highly recommend you try this place but make sure you book! Thank you Ramon

My partner and I stayed in Morro Jable for almost two weeks. During this time, we dined twice at La Bodega de Jandia as the food was excellent and the experience was exceptional. Ramón, the onwer, was very friendly and happily presented the dishes to us, guiding us through the Spanish cuisine. His tapas selection was adapted each time to contain the best and freshest dishes available. The dishes were also designed to surprise the guests with unexpected and delicious twists to traditional foods. The sangria we ordered to accompany the food was also one of the best we have ever had. The waiting staff was respectful and happy to help when needed. Make sure to reserve a table in advance as the restaurant is always full. We will definitely return when we visit to Morro Jable next time! (Photos: Canarian potatos with mojo sauces, piquillo peppers stuffed with bolognese and red sauce, fried Spanish sausages in red wine and honey, tataki tuna, mushrooms with blue cheese cream, baby pork ribs with pineapple and rum sauce, pork cheeks with mashed potatoes and apricot sauce, blood sausage breaded in crunchy almonds and tomato jam, fried iberian pork and chips).

Best restaurant in Morro Jable! Ramon has been absolutely amazing and attentive, he will make your experience 100 times better than any other restaurants services around! He made my birthday really special :) we went for the mixed tapas selection which we really enjoyed (a part few small plates which Ramon was absolutely happy to change for something else as wasn't of our taste). Be aware you can have a table only under reservation so I advise to call or pass by and make one! TOTALLY RECCOMENDED!! 💯

We had two reservations whilst in Morro Jable and both times were excellent. The food is exceptional and so is the service by Ramon and his team. On the first occasion, we went with Ramon's selections, which is recommended if you're not sure what to go for as it's all so good. The food is amazing. I could recommend it all but my absolute favourite was the pork, mash and apricot. Amazing. The cheesecake and rendition of 'cumpleanos feliz' for my wife's birthday were also very much appreciated. The wines were excellent. As were the recommended vodkas, gins and rums. It's an essential visit if in town. Remember to reserve as there's no walk ups - it's not as if there will be a free table anyway.

It was our first time here yesterday and I had made reservations for my partner’s birthday. We had the mixed tapas Menu and the food was spectacular! Every single tapa served was delicious. Special mentions to the garlic prawns, sausages cooked in red wine and honey and the ribs in teriyaki and brown sugar. We cleaned off all the sauces of all the dishes with the bread served. The red wine served was also good. Ramón was also very friendly and welcoming. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back and have recommended friends who are coming to Fuerteventura to come. In fact, we are back today for a second round. Pls note that reservations and needed. Kudos to the team and thank you for making my partner’s birthday dinner that much more special!!

It is not a cafe, restaurant or bar. There is no coffee, fruits, or cocktails. It is a tapas place. And it is awesome. Ramon makes it extra special. We went with his recommendations and loved every last bite of it. His wine recommendation was also spot on. Can't recommend it enough. PS: Book early.

Outstanding food and service, my girlfriend and I have eaten in many high quality restaurants including Michelin starred places and the quality of food and the level of service received here was easily up there with the best we have ever had. Food is freshly cooked and locally sourced and the owner is passionate and proud of his food as he should be! We were treated as valued customers and the owner and staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the most enjoyable evening. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting FuerteVentura to book a table at this authentic restaurant.

Spent a week traveling up and down this island looking for the best beaches and food. This bodega is far and away the BEST meal we had. Would have come back every night we had remaining, but the restaurant is booked out well in advance (and for good reason!). Ramón is equally as amazing. Truly a brilliant human being. A beautifully kind and caring person that made my whole family feel like they were the most important people at the entire place. My advice: call ahead for reservations and go here multiple times because once is not enough. Get the mixed tapas and a great bottle of wine and thank me later. Thank you for everything 🙏🏽

The restaurant Laja de Morrojable is situated on the seafront in Pajara, Fuerteventura and offers a great selection of seafood dishes. The terrace has wonderful views of the ocean and it is perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family.
Big choice of nice seafood dishes served right by the sea with fantastic views. Good portion of food served in reasonable time and for reasonable price.

Excellent views! We had a Paella and as starter, different fried fish with pimientos del padrón. I have eaten better fish in the island but it was ok. I recommend to park around el faro so you can have a nice walk back on the beach or otherwise, take one of the scooters along the city.

I have been here several times (both lunch and dinner) for the fresh fish, but also the Paella and starters are quite good. You are just in front of the sea, and you get fresh food and a good service. You can not go wrong by choosing it, also because prices are OK. Alberto is at a 5 star service. He is a great guy and puts all himself into making you feel welcome.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing location, can't ask for anything better, on a 9 days holidays all inclusive on a 4star hotel, we went to La Lajas 3 times for dinner. Well done to the chefs and the front House staff, if you are around Morro Jable pay them a visit, you won't regret...

Excellent food, good sized portions and reasonably priced. One of the best sangrias we had on this trip. Definitely worth a visit

Highly recommended, food was fresh. We ordered the sole, this is super fresh and huge. The one person mix fish had a lot of variety, the squid was also nice and fresh. Highly recommended.

We were eating here 4 times in one week - the food was that good! Awesome people, everytime fresh seafood: mussels, paella, fish - we have tested everything (my wife is an expert in detecting fresh seafood :)). We HIGHLY recommend this place. It was great. If we will ever return to Morro Jable - for sure this is the place to go. BEST SEAFOOD IN THE WORLD!!!

Hi everyone! If you passing by Fuerteventura in the Canaria Island I really advise you to stop at Morro Jable beach and have a nice lunch or dinner at Laja Pescado Fresco. The tapas are really tasty but the mains of fish are just incredible. You get a large selection of different fishes, fresh and just grilled before serve. Just a recommandation, be careful of the size because the prices are really low compared the quantity you get. I got surprise and have to ask to take away. Enjoy :)

Waikiki Restaurant Snack Bar Grill, located in the stunning Morro Jables, is a must-visit establishment in Corralejo. This place offers a variety of cuisines including Mediterranean and Spanish, with an emphasis on seafood. Whether you're visiting for lunch, dinner, brunch or a late-night snack, Waikiki has got you covered. The restaurant provides excellent amenities such as outdoor seating, highchairs for families with children and wheelchair accessibility.
Very relaxing views. Almost everyone has a full beach view. Although very busy and a little wait for service and food. The food was worth it. We had waikiki salad, which was greens with pineapple, salmon, prawns and avacodo with dill dressing. Very fresh and great flavour. Would suggest it was also gluten free and no gluten related items in the salad.

Location is unbeatable. However, target group is a tourist who will not come back and thus not complain. Food is below average and overall quality is low. Maybe you can quite good enjoy a beer and the view. Do not come really hungry or thirsty though, everything last like forever. Sorry to post a bad review, but somehow, we have got trapped by the overall good reviews.

Went with my family because we had spotted that they served garlic lamb chops. We were seated at order taken at 20:05. The waiter returned at 21:30 to say that they had no lamb and nothing had yet even been put on to cook. Service was so slow and often had to remind the staff about our drink orders. The one waiter was running around so much I felt bad that he was the only one working hard whilst his colleagues stood and laughed. If the manager ever decides to hire an extra waiter and a cook I'd consider giving this place another try

Staff are a mix of excellent and rubbish. I recommend looking to see who is working before entering. The location is is the best trait as you have a magical view. We walked out the first night as we were ignored for nearly 20 minutes when we sat down and it was not that busy. The second night we tried was completely different, it was busier, but very efficient. Different staff on the second night.

Best Chateau Briand, and cheap. It comes on a gas stove and platter rather than a hot stone. We asked for side salad, cooked vegetables, fries and wrinkly potatotes (boiled with skin on). This was much better as we could control the cooking, 30 seconds for each slice per side. Very tender, melting in your mouth and perfectly cooked by my wife. We visited in the evening with friends as this was the quietest restaurant as it was located at the end of the strip. The other restaurants were full and very busy. The waiter asked us to sit nearer the other tables as he was the only person serving, but we asked if we could sit outside at the front, at the far end so that he could still see us. We were the entertainment for passers-by as we cooked our slices of the Chateau Briand and enjoyed the company and beer. We missed the sea view as it was dark but perhaps a daytime visit next time. Tip - bring some insect repellent and try to speak Spanish. We parked near the lighthouse and walked 20 minutes along the coast to the restaurant. Look out for the Willy Brandt statue.

Coffee Barraquito was quite good. The amount of liquor was outstanding compared to other places we've had one. Staff was kinda grumpy...

We ordered a couple of cocktails. Unfortunately, the non-alcoholic piña colada was more like a slush ice but no cocktail. The personal was okay and the atmosphere including the view was quite nice

I've been to this place twice and I must admit I have mixed feelings. Each time we waited a long time for the order to be accepted and for it to be delivered (we only ordered drinks). The first and second time I ordered Cosmopolitan. The first time, the drink was delicious, nicely served and you could taste the ingredients listed on the menu. The second time I got a glass full of ice and cranberry juice, there was practically no alcohol at all.

Unbeatable location as is just in front of an amazing beach. Nice atmosphere service really good and attentive but not intrusive food was amazing we had some tapas ( pulpo mussels and chipirones ) plus 4 jugs of beer reasonable priced considering where you are. The server Kilian ( i'm not writing the whole name ) was very nice and fun i will definitely come again ( maybe tomorrow)

Worst service ever. I will promise you, you have to wait about 1,5 hours to get your order. They will forget what you have ordered. Don’t waste your time here. If you don’t believe it just observe the waiters, they are completely chaotic with no system at all.

Can't relate to the other negative reviews. We had a good dinner experience, with big servings. They had 2 waiters who managed to serve all tables. Dessert was very sweet. You're doing vacation wrong if you can't wait 10 minutes to be served.

Lovely cocktails with lots to choose from, tasty food - we mostly had steaks, waiters were chatty and friendly. Value for money and a beautiful place/location/views. As other reviews said, slightly slow service but we were in no rush and had much slower service elsewhere in the town. Would return again definitely.

Great place if you want a quick and tasty meal. We didn't have to wait long and the service was nice and friendly though we struggled a bit to communicate in English. We ended up having one meal instead of two because of that but a plate was so big that we decided to stick with only one portions. Simple but tasty grilled seafood. Nice view. Freshly squeezed juice and Portuguese meringue dessert highly recommended! At the end you can get a delicious digestif!

Pizza restaurant
Taberuga Restaurante Pizzería, situated near the Playa del Matorral Lighthouse in Morro Jable, is a highly popular Italian eatery. Whether you find yourself craving a pizza or a hearty plate of pasta, this restaurant is the ideal destination. This establishment has garnered an excellent reputation in the Fuerteventura region and continues to improve over time. The menu offers fresh and customized dishes prepared with utmost care.
We had 2 lovely meals here. One lunch and one evening meal. Service is good and the food is quick, hot and yummy. Good value for money and worth leaving a tip for the staff indeed. You are best booking if it's an evening meal to avoid disappointment as it gets busy. You also order from the menu on your phone or tablet. Just scan the QR. Code and the drinks and food menu will appear. You will not be disappointed if you drop in or book in advance. Food is so good and a varied menu. For a pizza lover like me it was ideal. 5⭐

We visited this restaurant in April. We ordered 2 glasses of "tinto de verano" and a glass of water. So far so good. The wine arrived but not the water. We informed the waitress who said she would bring it. 20 minutes later it arrived. She took our food order. The salad which is not a complicated thing was in front of me in about 30 minutes but what for. Oh my God! When I saw the tiny bugs in the salad I thought my eyes were watering but alas no. They were bugs. I immediately flagged it down to the waitress who suggested replacing it. I would not have liked this option as I would not have been able to eat the salad after that in vain for another one. So I was left without a salad. After that, I started wondering what could be going on in the kitchen if the salad was not cleaned properly. I know many people would have left the place after the salad but.... We continued to wait. We got our pasta and pizza. Perfect pasta as it should be, but the pizza.. Tasteless, oily, very bad. We didn't even eat but a slice. The waitress when she took the plate away didn't even ask why we didn't eat almost any of it, as if it was normal for customers not to eat it. Of course they charged us for the salad we didn't eat. We complained about this and they corrected it. All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ate here two nights in a row. One of the best restaurants in this region of Fuertaventura. We ate here 2 years ago and it's only gotten better. The food is super fresh made to order and the staff extremely friendly and on point with service. Unique food items and very good desserts. You must try the tiramisu and pineapple carpaccio.

Tapas bar
El Bar de Marko y Moni is a small, hidden treasure in Costa Calma offering tapas and wine that come highly recommended by satisfied customers. If you're craving a wider variety of European cuisine, Tasca Dos Jotas is the place to go. They serve delicious favorites like filet steaks and an assortment of fresh seafood dishes, along with an impressive selection of wines.
Excellent tapas bar with fantastic views on the sea. The food was excellent, we had the potatoes tortilla (runny in the middle - as it should be), apple meatballs with cheese (these were also quite good and very well balanced! The tapas portion only has 3 though ), and the fried aubergines with palm sugar - which were also good. The service was quick and the lady the brought us food was absolutely lovely!!! Definitely recommend this place!

Wow what an amazing place. The service from Marko was amazing, he made us feel very welcome as if we've just entered his home. The food was extremely reasonable, and delicious! Drinks were great, I recommend going for a litre of Sangria! Highlight of my trip to Costa Calma was enjoying authentic tapas and Sangria at Marko's.

Came for early family dinner. Didn't have a reservation, but they gave us a table. Staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Ordered tapas - squid, shark (spicy Cajun), olives, bread, meatballs, potato, Serrano croquette. Everything was great, crispy when it should, flavoursome, and well presented. Food came quickly. Was good family atmosphere.

So good we returned 2 days later 😁 We were staying about 15 minute walk away and chose to dine here due to the reviews. We returned here for our last night (despite being in an all-inclusive hotel); sooo worth it. First visit was €84 for a LOT of tapas, wine, sangria and soft drinks for 4. Deserts for 2. Second visit we went for more expensive dishes and still only came to €108, but ordered too much in hindsight. The guys serving are so helpful, advising we were over-ordering on both visits. My girls are not normally seafood fans but loved it all, including the shark. The only thing they weren't keen on was the cheese with banana jam but we were stuffed by then anyway. Great food, great staff, who took us into the kitchen to show us one particular special was quite large, hence why they changed the order from medium to small.

Undoubtedly our favourite restaurant in Costa Calma! The whole experience starts with amazing view from the terrace, then great drinks, amazing tapas and delicious desserts and of course great service! Here we had the best chorizo ever. And the grilled local goat cheese with homemade marmalade just nailed it all. We tried similar dish in other places on the island, but it wasn’t as good. Desserts are also very good, especially that Canarian one with tonnes of caramel inside. Loved it all, end-to-end!

The place has a good view as it is on the roof. We went there as it has 4.7 rate!! However the tapes they serve are the worst. It has nothing to do with Spanish tapes. For someone who never understand the quality of food might be no problem. For us it was not worth the money was paid. Relative expansive fir such bad quality. The personal was busy and we had to wit a lot to get the service!! Nie wieder

The olives were great in number but not in quality - a lot had gone off, and been served regardless. The olives came with roasted garlic, one clove of which was half rotten but was cooked and served regardless. The salad was served with "duck ham" which seemed to mean cured duck (like the way you get cures ham) - this was my husbands meal and he is a fan of duck (and ham) and he can pretty much eat whatever is put in front of him, but he couldn't manage the flavour of cured duck (so ate the salad without it). The beef goulash served with chips was fine - the beef was cooked well in as much as it was tender; unfortunately, it was practically flavourless. I added the cooked garlic to add some kind of flavour. The staff were very friendly and accommodating - speaking good English as well as speaking Spanish (obviously, on a Spanish island) and German as well as having menus in all 3 languages. The staff were quick and helpful. The drinks were nice and refreshing; served quickly and cold. The place was full and they had many more options on the menu - mainly a tapas selection, with a variety of fish options (including shark). If it wasn’t for the gone off olives and garlic, and the disappointment with our main meals, it'd be a 5 star rating.

Very nice restaurant. We went there after beach day in Cofete, superb cosy place with a nice view. Smoked cheese was amazing, and prawns were excellent - my partner does not eat seafood, and he loved the prawns, too! :) Server Erly was super helpful and took good care of us :)

We had tapas and it was delicious! Friendly staff and the price is really good. Went back for a second time. For us it was the best food on the Island. We went to El Cotillo and Costa Calma. The special, fried octopus was magical. Make sure to make a reservation if you're going after 6pm as both times all the tables full.

We are vegan and upon our first visit, had wonderful food adapted from the menu. Since we were in the area for a day more Marko and Monica said they would prepare specific dishes for us upon our return. They were super delicious!! The views are amazing and the service impeccable.
